Issue changing font in CC

I'm not sure why, but Photoshop CC keeps automatically changing my font back to it's previous font after I attempt to change it to a new one.
Current font in document: Source Sans Pro
Attempting to change font to: Open Sans
So far the only way I've been able to succesfully change the font is to choose something like Rockwell, click off the font. Then select it again and I'm able to choose Open Sans. Considering the fact that I'm attempting to make this change across an entire website design, 10+ pages this is very frustrating. It previews Open Sans when it's highlighted and I've selected the font from the character window but instantly reverts after I click to use Open Sans.

This seems to have been an issue with TypeKit. Luckily I had a copy of Open Sans on my home computer and was able to turn off the TypeKit version I was using at my office.

WAD template issue:Change Font Size of Tab page in a tab strip container

Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to change the font size and face of a "tab" in a tabstip container.
For example: I have a Tab strip container with 3 tabs:
      Tab1 : North Region
      Tab2: South Region
      Tab3: Central Region.
When we name the tabs as above, it displays in a default font size and font face in the output while executing the WAD template. I want to increase the font size of say " North Region" Tab so that it appears bigger.
Can some one guide me as to how this can be achieved.

[SOLVED]Change font issue

Hi, im new to Arch , im happy with it so far! But I want to get my favorite font "terminus" to work. I've read the wiki and i've also checked the FAQ for urxvt how to change font with no success. Im using latest Arch and I use urxvt as my terminal and awesome as wm, and i want the font to work on those both and in luakit if its possible. I've setup my xinitrc to make terminus work i've also resintalled it ones cuz I thought the font was broken or something. I used "URxvt.font:terminus" in my $HOME/.Xdefaults with no success. Ive also tried to add it to my rc.conf but it didnt make the font work in X(i havent checked if it appears on the commandline with no X up and running).
I hope i could get some help

I use this for setting the inconsolata font as default in urxvt and it works just fine.
The .Xresources didnt work for me for some reason so thats why im using Xdefaults.

Then under Environment you've fonts and colors tab where you can specify a higher font size.

Is it possible to change fonts when printing address lables in addressbook ?

Yes, but this is a universal access issue, my client has extremely bad eyes. and voice over is not for him... in fact he hates voice over.
I was hoping someone might have a way to modify the font/color or at least tell me what directory to look in.

Change font in Adobe Form in the interface

Hi all,
I have one issue changing the font in adobe forms.
In the interface I have as import one string. With this string I have to generate the PDF and I need to change the font.
Here is an example:
Import string: "this is an [[FONT=CURIEL]]example of [[N]] adobe [[SIZE=15]] forms"
the characters [[ ]] indicate an scape sequence.
[[FONT=CURIEL]] means that all the following text should be in curiel font.
[[N]] means new line
[[SIZE=15]] menas that all the following text should be in size 15.
All this text I has to be added to a string variable and paste in the PDF.
I know that I can add a new line with "cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline"
I know that with Javascrit I can change the font and the size, but for that I have to change all the text.
Is there any way to change some text inside the variable and not all of it?

Illustrator CS5.1 crashes when changing fonts

Hoping someone can please help!! Every time I try to change fonts in Illustrator CS5.1, without fail it crashes. I'm on a macbook pro with retina display, OSX 10.9.4 and I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the program and downloading the Adobe patches but my computer won't accept them. I've tried deleting the Illustrator preferences as well but nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP?!!

In serious cases requiring reinstallation, you should also use the Cleaner Tool, see 6) below.
But it may be something with fonts/font caches, see Items 1) and 11) in the link in 5) below; these may be the most probable causes.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Verizon Webmail Editing fails in IE9 - Cannot change Font or Character Size

I recently switched from IE8 to IE9, and now in Rich Text I cannot highlight and change Font family of Font Size.
The highlight disappears when I click one of the Font dropdowns, and the cursor jumps to the head of the message.
I can select a Font size and/or family, then position the cursor, then enter text, and it is the correct size and family,
but I cannot after that change it. If I paste something into the message, I cannot change that.
This fails on two computers running WIN8-64bit and IE9.
It does not fail in Firefox.
Verizon says it is Microsoft's problem. I think Verizon's webmail client provider needs to talk to MIcrosoft.
Does anyone have this configuration with this problem?
Does anyone have this configuration without this problem, and if so, any idea what to change?
Has anyone a solution to offer (except returning to IE8 where it worked)?

Thanks for the quick reply, I tried disabling hardware acceleration but the moment I unchecked it everything started appearing a bit fuzzy. Not as crisp as it normally should. (unless the real effect happens after restarting FF)
Regardless I still don't see how my graphics driver would be the issue, because isn't IE9 technically using it as well? And it showed those special characters just fine other than making em appear a bit smaller.
Also I forgot to mention this, but atm its only happening when I'm viewing that particular page with FF. If I view another different site (like a forum) that has the same or at least similar sets of those special characters, they are showing up fine. If I copy/paste those texts from IE9 onto FF then again they would show up fine.
There's also some forum posts I did which involved me copy/pasting those special characters from that page (before updating to FF12), now when I look at those posts they haven't changed at all as that page has.
So the problem here is not being able to view those characters completely but rather why they would appear different especially on that page unlike when viewed from different sources/browsers.

Can no longer change fonts in Mail messages

All of the sudden (within the last couple of days), I find I can no longer change the font - or even the style (bold, italic) of any new mail message. I can change the color, but that's about it. The font stays as whatever the default Message Font is. I did try changing the default to verify it was not a font corruption issue.
I don't think it's a font panel issue since I can change Fonts, Styles, etc. in other apps that use the Font Panel.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Some more tests .. it's definitely not the app itself .. I booted from my external .. and I launched the Mail app on my main .. and it worked fine (of course, all my accounts, etc weren't there) .. so you're right .. it's either a prefs thing (though not the "com.apple.mail.plist" file since opening a brand new user still has the same problem).. or maybe even a corrupt .pkg file in Receipts .. wait a sec .. replaced the Mail.pkg file just to check .. still nope. So it's gotta be something low level.
At this point, I'm thinking what may be easier on both of us is ... I'm waiting for the Apple Box Set (Leopard/iLife 09/iWork 09) to start shipping before I upgrade .. that should be pretty soon .. so I'll just hand on till then (it's really not all that big a deal I guess in the big picture .. just irritating) .. and see if upgrading corrects the issue .. if not, then I guess I'm off bug hunting again.

I'm having some difficulties with a couple of weird UI / Font related changes. Have anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

Microsoft Project Professional 2010
v. 14.0.7106.5003 (32 bit version)
1. When I try to fill a row with a color - MSP2010 changes the font and fontsize:

This is just one example, when changing fonts I have issues all the time. For example MSP sometimes adds new activities with the same font as all other activities (Arial 8pt) and other times decides that it shoud use (Calibri 11pt).
2. When I expand all subtasks in outline MSP says that values of custom cells have changed:
(look at column called "Verkligt arbete.") Custum formula is: [Tal1]*[Tal2]/100

I do reccomend that you download the video files since Dropbox renders them at lower quality when watched on their homepage.
To be completely honest, I'm trusting Microsoft Project 2010 less and less each day I use it. If the basic stuff does not work, how can I trust that the more advanced things does work?

Yes updates are cumulative but the reason I don't normally recommend users install the latest update is that cumulative updates do not receive the same level of thorough testing that service packs receive. The
following "disclaimer" is attached to each cumulative update:
"However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might
receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update (i.e. service pack) thta contain this hotfix".
The June 2013 cumulative update was released after SP2 and contains a significant number of fixes. Cumulative updates since then have had very limited functional changes. That's why I recommend the June 2013
cumulative update but do not normally recommend the latest cumulative update.

Cannot change fonts in Mail version 3.1

When I start a new message in mail, if I want to change the font I can't access the font tool either by selecting the font button in the outgoing message tool bar or by the drop down format menu ( or by "command T"). I can, however, go into preferences and change fonts universally. Basically if I cut and paste a sentence from another message or word doc into an outgoing mail message that is a different size or font and I want to make all the fonts the same, nothing happens, no font tool window appears.

I ran into the same issue yesterday and have tried to change the language from English to German. I have restarted iTunes as requested. The weird thing now is: The settings show German, but iTunes still is in English. I have then set the language to French and restarted iTunes and... It was French.... Then I put the settings back to German with the result that iTunes is Englich again. I have no solution and I am curious if this is a programming issue as it seems I am not the only one here from Germany.... Any ideas???

Two possible (maybe the most probable) causes could be:
Corrupt font(s) or A font caches issue

Have you installed extra fonts or maybe a Font management Progam.
If you removed the installed fonts or disable the font management progam you get the same results?

Nokia Lumina 800 Change Font Size ?

I just got a new Nokia Lumina 800, and the text font is so small I cant read most it.
(I've some replies where nokia are claiming itsa 'visually impaired' problem. Nokia take note.... I had an eye test recently and have 20/20 vision).
Googling I cant believe there is no facility to change font size. YOU CANT CHANGE THE TEXT FONT SIZE ??? Was the device only useability tested on teenagers ?
Nokia: so my question is specifically WHEN will there be an update to correct this ? Or do i return the device and switch to android ?
I'd priortise this a an URGENT issue.

You are very lucky to not have an issue with the font size, some of us don’t have perfect vision and it would make life a lot easier to be able to choose a font size and colour that best suits our own visual ability. If you open a contact up and have a look at the headings which are in white against the black background (if you have dark set for back ground) then under that is the details that you enter, they are almost half the size of the heading font and are the same colour as the selected theme so I have chosen the lime green theme as this helps to make them clearer for me. Don’t know if you have heard but some people do suffer from colour blindness so some colour combination mean that they wont see some colours at all. So please this is an issue for me and some other users, I happy to hear your vision is excellent and its not a problem for you but it may not be like that for ever so this might become an issue for yourself one day. Please Nokia have a look at this and update it to either allow us to customize the font or allow pinch to zoom.

How do I change font and colors back to default?

I have changed the font and color of the text through the tools button and the options button and the content tab. I find nothing telling me how to change the font and colors back to default font and colors. Can you advise me? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Thanks.

Unfortunately for the default colors has no good reference. But for text it is black (most lower left) color, background is white (most upper left color). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, row 5) and visited link is purple (column 9, row 5).

Email will not let me change fonts all of a sudden.

Email will not let me change fonts all of a sudden. It says I don't have the neccesay permissions in ~/library/preferences. this has just happened recently.

Who is your email provider?
You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
If yes, try deleting the mail account and adding it again.
