Issue getting Motorola 9060G scanner to work with 5508 WPA-TKIP

We have a new 5508 controller that we are trying to get setup to use our Motorola 9060G handheld scanners. This device uses WPA-TKIP and has been working with a Symbol controller without issue. I need to retire this controller so started re-creating the SSID on the Cisco controller. I am having issues getting the scanner to connect with the new SSID. It looks like everything works fine with no security but once I start to enable WPA+WAP2 I get no connectivity. Laptops work fine just not the handheld. I have tried every combination I can think of for AES and TKIP under the WPA and WPA2 policies. I have also gone through the Cisco Best Practices guide for Motorola/Symbol Wireless Handheld Scanners and so far unless I have no security I cannot get things to work properly. I tried doing a debug client to see what or how the two are talking but I can only get results with security set to open. Just looking for other suggestions as to something that I might be missing. My controller is running 7.6.100

Just be aware that the Wi-Fi Alliance has scheduled the "elimination" of TKIP. What you are about to do is a "temporary" solution. You can get the scanner to work now because you are using WLC firmwares that still support TKIP. However, if (in the future) you need to upgrade your controller's firmware to support newer wireless access points, your scanners may not work any more.

System Preferences -> Printers and Scanners -> Scan tab. If you connect the USB from the Scanjet to the Mac, it should recognize it and download any necessary software.

Having issues getting my ipod Touch to work with my Dodge Caravan

My car also has the port factory installed. Keep getting a message that it can't charge and that there is a communication error.

If you know your iPod is up to date, why come here looking for updates? Have you doubled check with the manufacturer yet?
Several users have reported problems plugging their iPods into the provided ports in their vehicles for some time now, but other than that their isn't much you can do except provide your feedback to Apple on this through the link below.

For MS Visio (any version) only the appropriate version of Acrobat *PRO* provides PDFMaker for Visio.
For Visio 2013 specifically you must have Acrobat XI Pro (updated to at least 11.0.1).

You cannot use USB. It has to be a network capable printer.. is it?? You did not indicate how it is connected.. but by wireless or ethernet then scanning is possible otherwise not.

I have talked at length to Canon. Their support is normally very responsible and competent, but in this case, they say that they don't know if or when there will be a fix to the problem. All they suggest is that you download the drivers and reinstall them. They also suggest that you repair your disk permissions.
The problem is that after the first scan, the software tries to locate the scanner. After 90 seconds, there is a message saying that the scanner is in use by another application. Once you reply OK to that message, you can scan another document. So, it works, if you consider scanning a document every 90 seconds working. I don't.
The problem may well be Apple's, but resolution requires that Canon and Apple talk. They don't seem to be.

You can try this ... hold down on the sleep button and the power button at the same time for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo on the screen, release the buttons and see if the iPad restarts and you can use it.

Sounds like you inadvertently have the Add Anchor Point tool active. Click and hold to get the full selection and choose the "regular" Pen tool at the top. (Or, just tap the P key.)

Getting LabVIEW-Perforce integration to work with a complex Perforce Workspace

I am having trouble getting my Perforce system to work with LabVIEW 8.6 Professional. Briefly, Perforce has a special system for splitting a workspace over two logical drives. In my case these are a Novell shared drive which holds versions which I have "published" as a code branch for colleagues, and my local drive which holds the development line. To do this requires Perforce workspace settings of:

I received information from R&D regarding this issue, and it seems like
the problem is not with the integration between Perforce and LabVIEW, but rather
the way in which the utilization of the "AltRoots" feature. This feature
is intended to use the same Perforce client specifications on multiple
platforms with different directory naming conventions. It was
not meant to be used with two drives on the same platform, which can lead to the
following issues. Please see the link below for a definition

Scanner that Works with 10.6 Snow Leopard?

Has anyone found a scanner that works with 10.6 Snow Leopard and also handles 35mm negatives & slides? My HP Scanjet 4570c is “dead in water.” HP has said they will not provide a driver update for this model.

If you, like me, are ****** off about how poorly HP is handling/not handling this scanner functionality issue then I suggest that you email the CEO, Chairman, and the Board of Directors of HP. I just finished sending my email to all of them. You can do the same by going to the web site listed below and follow the instructions on that web page. When I sent my messages I typed, "Do you care that HP is losing customers?" in the SUBJECT line of my email. I seriously doubt that this will result a solution to our problems, but at least you can let them know that they have lost another customer.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program

Just signed up here, ot the brightest with tech stuff. I'm trying to get my Powershot A620 to work with Windows 7. I'm guessing there's drivers I need to down load ? Will they be on the Canon website or on this help site ?

If you need photo software and don't have any you can download Canon software here.

But if you already have software you use there is nothing special you need. Ether connect the camera using a USB cable or remove the SD card from the camera and use a card reader (either an external one or the computer may already have one built in.)
If you decide to connect the camera via USB you don't need a driver; its built into W7.

Trying to get a WRT54GX2 wireless router working with a WPC54G wireless card. The laptop and desktop both will access the Internet and work when hardwired through the router's Ethernet ports. When trying to access wireless, the Laptop shows to be connected to the router and also to Internet, but Internet Explorer can not access any websites. Suggestions? Thanks.

what ip address does the laptop get ?? ensure that the laptop is not set for a static ip add....and it gets an ip add from the router ..

Can't get Bose computer speakers to work with my Mac pro lion

I have just bought the Bose Companion 11 computer speakers for my Mac Book Pro. They are set up correctly (in the headphone jack) and they play my itunes music beautifully. However, when they are plugged in I get no sound from internet videos, etc. I have to take the plug out of my headphones jack and then I get the sound from my computer but not the speakers. Can anyone help ..I don't know what I am doing wrong...or how to get the Bose speakers to work with all my computer (internet content). I looked at system preferences and the Output says headphone port but the input says internal microphone (built-in).

Don't worry about offending me...I am, admittedly, no computer whiz! I have had speakers before....but I took these in to Best Buy...with my computer (Where I bought them) and the "Geek" person plugged them in and they worked.
What we did notice was that the jack that goes into the plug just below the left speaker plug was loose. So I brought it home and it worked! Then tonight I turned on my computer and no speaker input, so I checked the back of the right speaker and that plug (if that is the right name?) had fallen out...so re-connected it and they work! So, I guess I may have to tape that plug in ...or what do you suggest??...so it doesn't keep falling out.

Well it seems that you did not explain to us the full story. Did you change ISP's or something? Why would it not show up anymore?
What colour is the light on the time-capsule? If it's blinking amber, then you probably need to do a factory-reset. That should get it to show up again in AirPort Utility.
