Issue in Batch import of Configuration orders using order Import

Hi All,
I am trying to import Configuration orders into Oracle R12 using Order import. As per Oracle white paper on this, I ahve populated all the required fields like top_model_line_ref,link_to_line_ref, item_type_code etc. But order import is giving error "Item ABC not found in BOM of Model XYZ".
Is there any setup or profile I am missing?
Please help me on this also is there any other approach to import Batch configuration orders?
Thanks!!

  • Importing mulitple dump files using traditional import

I have 11 export dump files of 2G size i want to import.
    What is the syntax:
This is what i have im mind
    imp user/user File=file1.dmp,file2.dmp....
    Please help.

You mean 11 dumpfiles from the same export? If so then it was obtaoned with something like this:
    $ exp scott/tiger FILE = dat1.dmp, dat2.dmp, dat3.dmp FILESIZE=2GBThen, the import:
    $ imp scott/tiger FILE = dat1.dmp, dat2.dmp, dat3.dmp FILESIZE=2GBSee http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/exp_imp.htm#CEGFIAGE for more info.

  • Goods Issue Internal Order using MIGO

    Dear All,
I want to do Goods Issue Internal Order using MIGO, but then an error message popup says
"Order xxx not found or not permitted for goods movement"
When i do the Goods Issue using MB1A, the transaction run well,
So why MIGO transaction cannot run this transaction?
Any one who can help to resolve this problem?
    Regards,
    Marufat

    Hi,
Go to MB1A, enter Mvt type 261, Plant and S.loc.
Don't click on order tab from the initial screen. This field is for "Production Order" Not for internal order.
Then in the second screen on account assignment data, give your Internal Order number and enter the data and post the document.
Or else, In mIGO, Goods Issue- Others.
Check the configuration for the Order type in transaction code KOT2_OPA.
    Order Category should be 01
If order belongs to order category 30,system will not allow to do the direct posting through MB1A.
OR else try to create a reservation for these materials with movement type 261 and then do a goods issue for that reservation.
    Hope it will help you
    regards

  • Error message using SQL import and Export Wizard with Excel spread sheet

I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet using the Import export wizard that is provided with SQL 2014.
Everything seems to set up OK but then when I go to do the transfer "error message" comes up saying:
External Table is not in the expected format.(Microsoft Jet Database Engine).
This is a spreadsheet and there is no database, that is why I want to import it into a database!!  So the reference to JET is a tad disappointing.
So why the error and how do I fix the problem?
As there are over 100 variables in the spread sheet rows, it would be great to have this automatically create the database and populate the fields.
I am using SQL 2014  Express and Office Excel 2013.
Thank you in  advance for taking the time to read this, and hopefully sheading some light on the issue.

    Hi AWlcurrent,
When import a .xlsx file to SQL Server using SQL Server Import and Export Wizard, you see a “External Table is not in the expected format.(Microsoft Jet Database Engine).” error message. This error message seems that the Microsoft JET Database Engine is
unable to handle something that is contained in the file.
So please make sure there is no unsupported content in the Excel file. Alternatively, we can use ‘Microsoft Excel’ as the Data Source, then Select ‘Microsoft Excel 2007’ as the Excel version to import the excel file.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,

  • Amended sales order thru order import process

    Hi All,
Is it possible to add a new sales order line in existing sales order using ORDER IMPORT process ?
means I want to amend the existing sales order as well as to new the sales order line also.
This task I want to accomplish using ORDER IMPORT process.

    Hi Sandeep,
    Thanks for your reply.
I have successfully imported the sales order and can amended the existing sales order/line using ORDER IMPORT process.
    This task I have accomplished thru Open Interface tables : OE_HEADERS_IFACE_ALL & OE_LINES_IFACE_ALL .
Now, I want to add new sales order line in existing sales order using these open Interface tables rather than API.
Do you have any idea about the same ?

  • Purchase Order to Ordering Address

    Hello Experts,
We have multiple Ordering Addresses for a main vendor which are created with seperate vendor numbers. Main vendor is created with multiple ordering address as Partner Function (OA) on it and individual Ordering Addresses vendors are created with  Partner Function  -VN as Main Vendor and OA - as Ordering Address vendor.
    Example -
Vendor Master record of main vendor 1234-
    Partner Function
    Main Vendor (VN) - 1234
    Invoicing Party (PI) - 1234
    Ordering Address (OA) Vendor 1 - 123401
    Ordering Address (OA) Vendor 2 - 123402
Vendor Master record of Ordering Address vendor 123401
    Partner Function
    Main Vendor (VN) - 1234
    Invoicing Party (PI) - 1234
    Ordering Address (OA) Vendor 1 - 123401
Vendor Master record of Ordering Address vendor 123402
    Partner Function
    Main Vendor (VN) - 1234
    Invoicing Party (PI) - 1234
    Ordering Address (OA) Vendor 1 - 123402
We have a requirement to create Purchase Orders using Ordering Address vendor, example Vendor number on the PO will be 123401 (Ordering Address vendor) and Partners on the PO will be VN - 1234, PI - 1234 and OA -123401
Similarly Vendor number of PO vendor will be 123402 (Ordering Address vendor) and Partners on the PO will be VN - 1234, PI-1234 and OA -123402
We want to understand the pros and cons of going with this approach of creating POs. Normally we create PO for Main Vendor and Ordering Address Vendor as Partner OA on it.
    Thanks in advance.

    is this okay for you?
Usually one wants to see all statistics for the main vendor, and not for each order address.
what do you actually achieve the VN vendor number, where is it used for what?

  • Configuration of the Import Manager in order to use the Import Server

    Hi all,
Firstly thanks a lot for all. The question is: I need to set all the properties neccesary to use the Import Server, so would be very positive to know how to set all the default import action in the import manager. when I try to make that all default import action under the Records Option in the main menu are disable.
Can someone help me with that?.
Thanks in Advance and Best Regards.

    Hi Devashish Bharti
All that you have told is configured, instead of this configuration, the default import action: none/none;single/exact is disable in the "Records" main menu. Do you know what happen?
    Best Regards.

  • Batch determination of configurable materials in production order

    Dear All,
I'm facing the follwoing problem i have a configurable material which contains another configurable material in its BOM the item catergory for the configurable item is N , the problem is that during batch detrminittion of the material in the production order the system issues this message ' Batch entry/batch split not allowed for component xxxxx
    Message no. CO584'
however the batch determination for other material types is workinf fine
    please advice
    regards,
    Ahmed Sobhi

    Hi Ahmed Sobhi,
    Please check these steps that you have done exactly like this;
For that you have to do five important steps or features you have to know OK.
    1) Batch number assignment: We use this function to assign a batch with a number that uniquely identifies it OK.
    2) Batch Specf: To describe each batch uniquely using like Characteristics and characteristic The values. are allocated in the material master.
    3) Batch status management: To indicate weather a batch is usable or unusable: We can set (a) Manually in the batch master record or at goods receipt and (b) Automatically in the usage dissension in quality management.
    4) Batch Determination: We can use this function for various criteria to search for batches that are in stock (a) movement type: When posting goods issues (b) When combining suitable components for order types.
    5) Where used list: The batch where used list shows the path of the batch from its procurement to its delivery to the customer.
    6) Active Ingredient Management: This function is to administrate and process materials with active ingredients that are to be handled in batches OK.
Condition types: Say for x material if we want to determine the batch at the movement type/ plant/order type.
Access Sequence: It will checks weather the batch determination is done with movement type/ plant/ material &
    order type/ plant/ material.
Strategy type: We will assign here condition type and Access sequence and as well we have to maintain Class type: 023
    sort sequence, batch split
Batch Search Procedure: Here we will define the search procedure and using the condition type here OK.
Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check Activation: Here we will assign the search procedure to the movement types and for order types as well
HERE THE BELOW FOLLOWING DATA WILL GIVE YOU RIGHT UNDERSTANDING OK:
    a) It will looks for the search procedures.
    b) It searches through the strategy types in the search procedures for a valid search strategy.
    c) Characteristics from the selection class of the search strategy looks for batches with suitable specifications.
    d) Then it will looks for weather the batches are available.
    e) It sorts the batches that are available according to the sort rule from the search strategy.
    f) Then the system selects a proposed quantity with proposed quantity from the search strategy OK.
    Go -
    > Logistic General -
    > SPRO -
    > Batch Management you can find every thing there it self OK.
I hope it clears you, any questions revert me back OK.

  • Unable to Configure Sales Order using SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

I am using the basic type SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 02 idoc, created via LSMW, in order to create sales orders.  Everything works fine, except for the fact that I cannot set configuration characteristics. The sales order is saved, but when i look at it the value of my characteristic is not set.  Can you help me please?  Currently I do not know how to generate an idoc of this basic type from an existing order.  Knowing how to do this would be a great help.
For my test data, I am only attempting to create one line item (line 10) and configure one characteristic.
Below is a list of the segments being used.  I have provided the fields with code for those fields I believe are relevant.   I have attempted to process idocs with and without segment E1BPCUPRT.  I have also processed idocs with and without the fields E1BPSDITM1-CONFIG_ID, E1BPSDITM1-INST_ID and E1BPSDITM1-MAT_EXT.   When these three fields are populated, the order is created but the order line items are dropped.  When these three fields are not populated, the order lines created but the characteristic value is not passed to the line item.

    Hi Paaavan
You can set a break-point include "FV45PFAP_VBAP_BEARBEITEN_VORBE" that is called by both the SAP Standard and BAPI where the data is prepared and checked in the internal table XVBAP. Compare both SAP standard VA01 and your 'Z' program for what may be different in XVBAP.
I think the problem my be with regards to the business_object number that is hardcoded in the standard function module. It has given me issues before and hence I tend to use the function module  SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE to create sales documents with.

  • Single batch for a component in production order goods issue

    Hi,
We have a requirement where during good issue to a production order
through CO11 & MIGO, more than one batch of a particular component
should not be issued i.e. only one batch for a component should be used
for goods issue for a production order..If the stock for a particular
batch not full it should not allow the system to issue that batch. We
want an error message or any other restriction where system will not
allow more than one batch for a particular componet to a production
    order.
Please advise how to design such scenario.
    Regards,
    Chandan

    Hi Chandan,
    Try with below steps,
    - Create Batch Search procedure -
    - Create Batch Determination Strategy for that Material (Create it for both COB1 and MBC1)
    - Set NO. of Batch Split as 1 and don't tick Check box for Change Allowed
    - Then go to Order type Dependent Paramter OPL8 - Assign your Batch Search Procedure and also tick Check Batch (This will check the auto check if Batch Determination is done manually and if you have violet the Batch Determination it will throw an error Massage)
