Issue in CIF data between ECC to APO

Hi Experts,
We have ECC and APO system in our landscape. we have configured CIF and transferred data between ECC and APO however after ECC system refresh CIF configuration is not working. we verified and reconfigured the CIF configuration but still no luck.
strange thing is, while sending the data for e.g vendor from ECC to APO, there is no error reported. It displays successful in both qRFC trace files but the transferred data is nt reflecting in APO system.
There is no system run time error, no errors in system log (SM21), no logs in SLG1 application log, no erros in qRFC trace files.
we have enabled RFC user trace but can't conclude the issue. could you please anyone let me know where we can check the error log or how to resolve this?

Hello Pardeep,
Please check the setting of SMQS and SMQR for CF and client registration
these entries, the field 'TYPE' is set to 'R'.
QIN scheduler may be available for every client if you are working in this client with registered inbound queues.
Choose Edit->Activate scheduler from the menu (available in both SMQR and SMQS)
During processing in dialog work processes, the system uses a parallel RFC to restart the registered inbound queues. For this, you can use transaction RZ12 to specify a group of application servers and dialog work processes that are allowed to use a QIN scheduler. You must use transaction SMQR to assign the group name to the relevant QIN scheduler.
Different parameters in SMQR are explained in note 1579728. The explanation for SMQS is similar

  • Issue in transfer of data from ECC to APO

    Hi All,
I have a requirement of transferring data from ECC to APO. I am using EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 fro this purpose. The problem is, I need to transfer the data of a field that is not present in cif_matloc but present in /sapapo/matloc.
How should I proceed...Please help....this is an urgent requirement
    Thanks & Regards,
    SriLalitha

    Hi,
you may want to go to the transaction /SAPAPO/SNP_SFT_PROF
Determine Forecast of Replenishment Lead Time
    Use
In this field, you specify how the extended safety stock planning determines
    the forecast of the replenishment
lead time (RLT). The following values are available:
    Supply Chain
The system determines the RLT forecast using the supply chain structure by
adding the corresponding production, transportation, goods receipt, and goods
issue times. If there are alternative procurement options, the system always
    takes the
    longest
    option into account.
    Master Data
The system determines the RLT forecast from the location product master
    data.
    Master Data/ Supply Chain
First, the system determines the RLT forecast from the location product
master data. If no RLT forecast can be determined, the system determines the
forecast using the supply chain structure (as described under
    Supply
    Chain
    Dependencies
You can retrieve the replenishment lead time forecast yourself by using the
    GET_LEADTIME
method of the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/SNP_ADV_SFT.
Replenishment Lead Time in Calendar Days
Number of calendar days needed to obtain the product, including its
    components, through in-house
    production or external
    procurement.
    Use
The replenishment lead time (RLT) is used in the enhanced methods of safety
stock planning in Supply Network Planning (SNP). The goal of safety
stock planning is to comply with the specified service level, in order
to be prepared for unforeseen demand that may arise during the replenishment
lead time. The longer the RLT, the higher the planned safety stock level.
    Dependencies
The field is taken into account by the system only if you have specified
master data or master data/supply chain in the RLT: Determine
Forecast field of the safety stock planning profile used.
    Hope this helps.
The RLT from ECC is in MARC-WZEIT which is transferred to APO in structure /SAPAPO/MATIO field CHKHOR.
May be if you maintain the setting in the profile, you may get the value in RELDT.
    Thanks.

  • Master/Transaction data from ECC to APO-BW

    Hi All,
Normally we come across scenarios where Master/Transaction data is pulled from ECC to BW and then pulled into APO-BW. What are the pros and cons of CIF (direct connection between ECC and APo-BW) rather than pulling data from ECC to stand-alone BW and then into APO-BW?
    Regards,
    Joy

    Hi Santhana,
If you want to add data of ECC to APO BW & Then in to DP, then follow the following Steps.
    1. Create Generic Data Source in ECC for thet Sales Order table.
    2. Replicate that data Source in to APO BW with Source System.
    3. Create whole data flow process by using created Data Source.
Data Flow Process: 1. Info Package
                                      2. Info Source
                                      3. Info Cube
                                      4. Transformation between DS & IS, Then IS & IC
                                      5. Data Transfer Process.
    4. Load data from ECC to APO BW
    5. Use transaction /n/sapapo/tscube, for copy Info Cube data to Planning Area.

  • Error in Data transfer ECC to APO

    Hello Guys,
I'm getting an error in my system when I try to transfer data from ECC to APO system. When I CIF (after generating IM, when I activate it)  older data (master data created previously in system), I'm getting a short dump with mesage class 'XC', It says :
    Diagnosis
An internal condition was found during the
the system to access a substandard program"
    Trigger Location of Runtime Error
        Program                                 SAPLCSER
        Include                                 LCSERU02
        Row                                     101
        Module type                             (FUNCTION)
        Module Name                             CIF_SER_MESSAGE_SERIALIZE.
But when I create a new data and try to transfer it, it smoothly transfers into APO without any dump or error.
Similarly, when I pull the data in APO with CCR, I get short dump while iterating data:
    Category               ABAP Programming Error
    Runtime Errors         DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_UNKNOWN
    ABAP Program           /SAPAPO/SAPLDM_LC_SQL
    Application Component  BC-DB-LCA.
The current ABAP program "/SAPAPO/SAPLDM_LC_SQL" had to be terminated because
    it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
A table is referred to in an SAP Open SQL statement that either does not
exist or is unknown to the ABAP Data Dictionary.
The table involved is "/SAPAPO/ORDMAP" or another table accessed in the
    statement.
I'm not much aware on LC technology, I have deactivated & activate LC once in LCA10. Also, checked consitency in OM17, it shown no inconsistency. Plus, when checked in OM13, all checks are showing green.
Can you please suggest what needs to be done?
    Thanks,
    AP.

  • Withdrawal Qty don't match between ECC and APO

    Hi Experts.
I am facing a discrepancy for Withdrawal Qty between ECC and APO before delivery/PGI creation.
In ECC T.code MD63 I am able to see the withdrawal Qty as expected but in APO a duplicated withdrawal Qty is being created. But this is not happening for all materials, only some specifics materials. I did a check in Material Master data and I have no found any difference between a material that is working and one that is not working...
Can please somebody explain me why APO is dobling the Withdrawal Qty.
    Thanks a Lot
    Daniel Campos.

Please check wthether you have dp index duplication in this problem.
    Please follow the process.
For this process , you need to follow these steps .
    1. From the table /SAPAPO/MATKEY , find the product id of the product for which you feel there is problem .
    2. Find the location id from table /SAPAPO/LOC for the location.
    3. Use the above found 'product id' and 'location id' to find the dp index in table "/SAPAPO/DP_HEAD "  .
Enter the planning version ' 000 ' in this table . If there is some error you will find multiple entries of the 'dp index ' in this table for the ' 000 ' planning version. If error found use below program to delete the dp index .
    4.  Precaution should be taken before we delete the 'Dp Index' as the consumption history is lost due to this .          In the program  'Z_DEL_WITHDRAWL'  there are 2 check boxes " update " and " list ". List will show the DP index and update will delete it. Need to extremely careful in this program as wrong selection will cause problem .

  • CIF - Master/Transactional Data From ECC to APO

Working on CIF Data From ECC6.0 to APO(SCM 5.0)..
If i choose MRP type XO in ECC - Master Data & Transactional Data is moving properly to APO.
As we are using MRP in ECC6.0..and the MRP Type is PD...
I want to CIF the Master Data & Transactional Data using MRP Type PD? is it possible? How?
    Regards,
    Rajesh Patil

    Hi Rajesh,
As visu rightly indicated, it is always safer to use XO while planning in APO.  Still, if the business requirement compels to use PD, you can cif with PD, then copy the data from active to an inactive version and then carry out the simulation planning.  Once results are copied, you can change the mrp type to xo in R/3 and re-cif it.  Then you can compare the result in APO between active and inactive versions.

  • CIF of transaction data from ECC to APO

    Hi,
I wanted to know where we maintain the configuration for real time transfer of transaction from ECC to APO.
I know for master data we have an option in CFC9 for real time/periodic transfer. Is there any similar config for transaction data too like sales orders etc.

    Hi Alok,
To allow online transfer of changes to transaction data from SAP R/3 to SAP APO, you have to activate generally the BTEs in SAP R/3.
This is done in R/3. This is the path:
SPRO --> Integration with Other SAP Components --> Basic Settings for the Data Transfer --> Change Transfer --> Change Transfer for Transaction Data --> Activate Online Transfer Using BTE
You can read about it here:
Change Transfer for Transaction Data - Integration via APO Core Interface (CIF) - SAP Library
Then of course you will need to generate and actiave your IModels.
    Kind Regards,
    Mariano

  • Amend Forecast after CIF import from ECC to APo

    Hi all,
I need to amend the forecast in APo after a particular Sales Order type has been imported.
The import Occurs using an RFC connection to trigger the Function Module /SAPAPO/CIF_SL_DOC_INBOUND
Is there a user exit that gets fired after this completes? I've found one at the beginning but not at the end.
If anyone has any other ideas how this could be achieved then please let me know.
    Thanks.
    Regards
    Dave

I can use the CIF for independent demands or PIR's from ECC to APO.  But the CIF functionality that sends independant requirements ignores MRP elements with type SB for dependant requirements you can not pick them up.  At least I have not found a method for the standard CIF to send MRP elements SB as of yet.

  • How can we synchronize UOM between ECC and APO?

    Hi,
We have configured new UOM (unit of measurement) in ECC. How can we synchronize UOM in APO with UOM in ECC (table T006)?
    Thanks and regards, Jose Oyon.

    Jose,
Synchronizing the config is simple.  Run program RSIMPCUST in SCM.
Synchronizing changes to affected master or transactional data (if required) is much more complex.  The best method by far is to create the new UOM config in ECC, and synchronize the config into SCM.  Only then do you begin to use the new UOMs in ECC Master data and ECC transactional data.  Existing transactional data, depending on what is is, will be very difficult to change UOMs and have the UOMs in SCM synch, without quite a bit of manual effort.

  • CIF STEPS to load data from ECC to APO from Process chain

    Hi,
i try to create on ECC system a process chain in order to execute the CIF program for updating APO Material/Plant Master data on DELTA mode .
I am not sure that the procedure is correct, at the moment i put on a chain:
    - Step 1 Program RIMODGEN with a specific variant
-Step 2 Program RIMODACT2 with a specific variant.
Is necessary a third step with RIMODACT2 in order to deactivate the integration model?
On APO we have to insert other standard step in order to complete the delta update?
    Any experience on similar situation?
    Thanks,
    Veronica

    Veronica
You do not need a third step. You do not need to deactivate the model. In fact, it is not recommended to do so. You do not need any step in APO.
If your CIF setup is correct, the first two steps should be enough.
If by 'Delta', you mean field value changes to material/ plants in an existing integration model, you dont even need to do CFM1/ CFM2 if you have setup transaction CFC9 for BTE (online transfer).

  • Process order dates in ECC and APO are not matching.

    Hi
We are sending Planning order to ECC there we convert to process order.I see there is diffrent start and end dates in APO and ECC.
But I see in CCR report I get error message material ABC has a different receipt date in SAP APO and SAP R/3.
I am not able to reconcile there.Message says
you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
I am not sure how to do this. Can anyone guide how to do the same. Also what is the root cause of issue. Why I am getting this message.
    Regards
    R

In  APO, if the receipt date of the primary product deviates from the end date of the last activity of the order (for example, due to an offset or scheduling at the end of a fixed block), the receipt date always identifies this as inconsistent.
You cannot rectify inconsistencies of this type by using the reconcile provided in the CIF compare/reconcile function.
In this case, you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
You can use the business add-in /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 Enhancements Comparison Report to deactivate individual comparisons.
Check for the  Note 645597 in which  you can find example coding with which you can activate the order end date comparison.
    Also check notes 815509

  • Issue in RFC communication between ECC and PI

    Hi Experts,
We are upgrading our systems from SAP R/3 to SAP ECC. We have couple of synchronous interfaces between SAP ECC <-> SAP PI <->Webservices.
In R/3 these interfaces are working as expected and passing the data in correct format to PI. But same RFC in ECC is not passing correct data to SAP PI.
Our design is : ECC creates an IDOC and then from the port program it calls the RFC to send data to PI. I tried debugging this port program and until the RFC data is correct in the tables, but as soon as RFC hands over data to PI, data is getting messed up.
    Below is the example.
Data in RFC : has data like this
    TES_TRANS_NO     MATERIAL     UNIT     QUANTITY     SHIP_DATE
    1003                         MMT-XXX     EA          1                    20140722
But when data comes to PI it is something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <rfc:ZIDXF_WS_ORDER_STATUS xmlns:rfc="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
    <ORDER>1003</ORDER>
    - <ITEM>
    - <item>
    <TES_TRANS_NO>1003</TES_TRANS_NO>
    <MATERIAL>EA 1 20140722</MATERIAL>
    <UNIT_MEASURE />
    <QUANTITY />
    <SHIP_DATE />
    </item>
    </ITEM>
    </rfc:ZIDXF_WS_ORDER_STATUS>
Material number is not being mapped and all other remaining fields are being concatenated somehow and being mapped to Material.
Please help if anyone has any ideas.
    Thanks,
    Sameer

    Issue resolved:
RFC Destination was Non-Unicode in R/3, for ECC we changed it to Unicode (As PI system is unicode), and it worked.
    Thanks everyone.

  • Unsynchronized data between ECC and BW

    Hi Experts,
I have a table in ECC6 which data is supposed to move to BW.
Everything is fine except some records from that table is not found in BW side even in the PSA table.
Where should I check to find the root cause of this program?
    Thanks,
    Duy

    Hi,
What is the type of your datasource for this dataload. If its a generic datasource based on function module, please check the code to see if there is some restriction while fetching the data.
If its generic delta datasource for which delta field is numeric field, then check if the records that have not got fetched are for the values lesser than the pointer shown in RSA7 because the deltas will get fetched for values higher than the value in pointer.
For standard datasource, I dont think there would be any modification but still you can go in CMOD and check whether in customer exit particular data records are being deleted.
    Hope this helps.
