Issue in DBM service order creation through RFC

hi everyone,
I am using the RFC '/DBM/ORD_RFC_CREATE' to create the service order. I have executed in test run in SE37. The Serice Order is not getting created. I am getting message in return table that 'ordertype is not in table '/DBM/C_ORDERTP'.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Balaji,
Check your order type is present in table /DBM/C_ORDERTP or not? if your order type is custom order type that need to be configured by functional peaple. so it will be there in table /DBM/C_ORDERTP.

  • Service Order Creation through Sales Order...

    Hello,
I got one requirement it is , we need to copy the account assignment (WBS element ) from sales order line item to service order line item . Morever same wbs element should be used to create automatic settlement rule in service order.
This should also work even if user changes the WBS element later. i.e, updated WBS element should again update service order and settlement rule automatically.
I tried to use Exit MV45AFZB and routine USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_COBL, but still i am not able to see the data in service order Location tab, Object tab.
I checked the table ILOA, its not getting updated when creating Service order via sales order.
I am not able to see any fields value coming on Service order screen when creating through sales order.

    Hi ARC,
Here the issue is that, Sales Order is getting created but while sending the Order num. to Webpage through web service then rasing below Exception.
    Runtime Error UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    Except. CX_SOAP_CORE
    Date and Time 07.05.2008 20:13:24
    ShrtText
An exception that could not be caught occurred.
    What happened?
The exception 'CX_SOAP_CORE' was raised but was not caught at any stage in the
    call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations, and since the system could
not react adequately to this error, the current program,
    'CL_SOAP_TRANSPORT_EXTENSN_ROOTCP', had to
    be terminated

  • DBM Service order

    DBM service order
    Kindly provide the flow of
    a) DBM service order creation
    b) Processing Quotation/ Estimate
    c) Quotation Confirmation
    d) Material Issues
    e) Warranty issues
    f) Picking list generation
    g) Material returns after goods movement & billing

    Dear Babudhar,
There are different ways how each dealer would like to use or function different processess.
Standard flows of 3 major processess in DBM are:
Vehicle sales orders:  Order create -> add items -> Add jobs** -> Post Goods Issue -> Splits**->Billing
Parts sales orders:  Order create -> add items -> Add jobs** -> Post Goods Issue -> Splits**->Billing
Vehicle Service orders:  Order create -> add items -> Add jobs** -> confirm order-> Post Goods Issue -> Confirm time booking -> Splits** ->Billing
    - Not mandatory, but are suggested
DBM is a process driven application and you can customize the process steps as is needed by the customer.
The steps mentioned above are very simple process steps and you can include any actions in between them
    Hope this info helps.

  • Credit block should not prevent service order creation

An upgrade from 4.7 to  ECC6, without any changes made to the configuration or program change, has lead to the following issue. ECC6 is not creating a service order connected to a sales order, when the customer has exceeded the credit limit. The sales order of custom order type is getting saved with a warning message that credit limit has exceeded. However, earlier in 4.7, the message would not stop creating subsequent service order. What could be different, that prevent ECC6 environment to hold on to service order creation? A subsequent release of the credit block through VKM1 however triggers the service order being created.

Are you using credit card processing in SAP to get the authorization?
If you are then the authorization should not block the order.
Or are you using credit card as a form of payment (without authorization) in which case this needs to be put on the customers account as a payment and then the order entered.
Where are you holding the credit card details?

  • Problem with MIGO goods issue to a Service Order

    Hello All
I have checked through out the forum as well as google and can not find the answer to my issue.  Please read the below details and advise....
In MIGO; when trying to perform a goods issue to a service order (created in IW31) I get an error message the document does not contain any selectable items.  I can not get passed this.  When I use the transaction MB11, it works just fine.  I went to the allowed transactions in OMJJ to ensure MIGO was listed as an allowed transaction... and MIGO is listed so I know that is not my issue.  It is not related to the service order not being released as it is and plus if it was not released it would not work in MB11.  I need this to work for the transaction MIGO....Please someone guide me in the proper direction of what is missing.

    Hi Kimberly,
When you post the goods issue as an unplanned goods movement against the order, the reservation is not even read, so it is never updated.
The data that you enter manually in this unplanned goods issue does not even need to match with the data in the reservation: the material, the plant... evrything can be different. The order is just a CO Account Assignment in this case and the reservation is not processed in any moment. This way, it is not possible to close the reservation when posting this kind of unplanned goods issue, as the reservation is not even considered (and, therefore, never updated).
It is only when you post the planned goods issue referencing the order directly when you really post your goods issue with reference to the reservation behind the order. Only in this case is when the data in the posting is checked against the reservation (the material, the plant, etc cannot be changed because they are taken directly from the reservation). Also, it is only in this case when the quantity in the posting is checked against the quantity in the reservation. If we issue the total reserved quantity, the reservation is closed automatically.
In the first case for the unplanned goods issue there is never an automatic update of the reservation because the posting does not even consider the reservation. It is only when you post the goods movement with reference to the order (in MB1A using "To Order..." and in MIGO "Goods Issue + Order") when the reservation is taken into account in the goods movement and, therefore, updated.
You can also refer to the SAP Library:
    It says:
"This withdrawal is unplanned because there is no reservation to be referenced."
An unplanned goods issue with the movement 261 and the order (working as CO account assignment object) is more or less the same as a 201 for a cost center. The cost center and the order are just CO Objects in this scenario.
I hope this helps you further!
    Best regards,
    Esther.

  • Idoc Generation after Purchase Order Creation through trading contract.

    Hi All,
When a Purchase Order is created via trading contract, I need to generate an Idoc and pass details of the Purchase Order created to the Partner System.
Can anyone suggest any Function module or user exit which gets called while Purchase Order creation through trading contract, so that I can fill the Idoc with necessary details of the Purchase Order and send that to the Partner System?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tejas,
I do not know about Trading Contract but what all I can say it that Check if Change pointers are getting written Once the PO has been created, If "Yes" then probably you do not have to do anything for craetion of Purchanse Order. You can use RBDMIDOC Program to create IDOCs from change pointers.
Refer [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/12/83e03c19758e71e10000000a114084/content.htm] for more information on change pointers.

  • Billing Issue for CRM Service Order

    Hi Gurus,
I have a question regarding the BPP C69 which is a complete scenario of Service Management. I did complete the config guide C26 which is a pre-req.
I created service quotation, Service order, and Techinician confirmed that service order. In step 4.7 in C69 says that in ECC, I can see the corresponding document in billing due list through VF04 transaction...I executed but I am not able to see any transactions. But I checked in ECC, using T Code IAOMC and I am able to see all the documents which I created.
And I checked the item categories in CRM and they are set for External Billing which is through ECC. Can anybody tell what I am missing. Or is there anyway I can make this Billing work in ECC.
    Please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Sharath.

    Hi Raj,
Actually the issue, we'll have 3 kind of materials.
    1) Sales Material,
    2) Service Material
    3) Service Spare Material.
When I did the config guides, they mapped 3 item categories in CRM but in ECC they mapped only for Sales Material. That's why my order which has only service material is not replicated as soon as I added a Sales material...it replicated.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Sharath.

  • How to fetch post goods issue date and sales order creation date

    Hi All,
How to find out the difference between SD Sales Order Item Creation Date and final Post goods issue Date. I would like to know how to fetch those dates and what is the relationship between the tables from which i will get the dates.
Please let me know the solution .
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Sales order creation date is when u raise a sales order in favor of the customer using VA01.......using ATP logic system purposes the material availability date....
after saving ur sales order...when u raise the Delivery using VL01n  w.r.t to OR...than u have to perform picking ....In the picking Tab...specify the amount to be picked than press Post Good Issue....means the goods left the company premises ..
You can the fetch the values using tables-  Use T code   SE12  or SE16
    Vbak-----order header
    Vbap-----order item
    Vbek-----order schedule line
    Likp-----Delivery header
    Lips----Delivery item
