Issue in determination of planned delivery data in PR.

Hello,
I have an issue in PR, where planned delivery time is picked wrongly. PR is created through MRP.
In info record, the planned delivery time is 8, in vendor master record planned delivery time is 0, and no contract exists. But when PR is created automatically through MRP, planned delivery time is 10 in PR. How is this possible, from where else does planned delivery time flow?
There are 4 materials in PO, among which 3 materials have pl.del time as 1 and for the fourth the time is 10, because of which when delivery is created for PO using VL10B, 3 materials are planned in one delivery and the fourth material is planned in another. Split in delivery is occurring. Statistical delivery dates are the same for all the four materials.
Please help e regarding this issue.
Regards,
Krishna Bharadwaj.

Hi Krishna,
What is the planned delivery time of the material in the material master?
Also are you assigning the source of supply in the PR and have mentioned the Porg?

  • Planned delivery date

    I have following scenario.
    Vendor Price terms is Exworks.
we have planned delivery time in material Master MRP view as Vendor manufacturing time. We may use Air or Ocean for Transit. I want delivery date in PO based on mode of trnasit.
    Example
for a Material, vendor lead time for Manufacture is 30 days.
transit time for Air is 3 days and 30 days for Ocean
I want exact plannned delivery date in PO after considering the mode of despatch. I have set 30 days in Material master Planned delivery date.
How to get exact planned delivery time in PO to receive material at our ware house based on mode of transit in ECC.
    Thanks
    Madhavan

    Hi Jurgen
I am exatly looking for the same. Is there any way we can proivide transit dates based on transit mode in ECC and transit mode in PO so that the Planned delivery date in PO is calculated exactly based on mode of transport ? I am looking for something similar to Route determination in SD.

  • Price determination as per delivery date

    Hi All,
I have created a PO in which the PO is picking up the dalivery date as the current date. when i change the delivery date as some other date there is a message saying Delivery date changed (new price determination process may be necessary).. I worked with my ABAP guy and solved this problem and now the PO is not picking the current date.
Now, the user wants me to configure how to determine the Price for different delvery dates.
That is if i change the delivery date to some other how to check if the PO is picking the price determined by that delivery date.
I checked the info record and the validity date is 12/31/9999. and this is the message iam getting
Delivery date changed (new price determination process may be necessary)
    Message no. 06484
    Diagnosis
If the price determination date is the delivery date and other conditions are valid on the new delivery date than those that are valid on the old one, the price is no longer valid.
    Procedure
If this is the case, and you wish to see the price that is valid as at the delivery date, carry out a new price determination process.
And u said to define on the basis of which Date of Price Determination system should select the price. where can i define the price determination for delivery date. This is the first time iam working on such issue of price determination.
    Thanks,
    Sameer

    Dear Sameer
There is no relevance of pricing date with delivery date.  For information,  while creating sale order in VA01 after giving your sales area and execute, there is a field "Pricing Date" in Sales tab and the date will flow into this field by default the date on which you are creating sale order.
So irrespective of your delivery, your invoice pricing will be effective based on this field.  Unless you change the date here, your pricing condition will not change, if you have a different pricing in VK11.  Of course, you can also change the pricing date at item level for which click on "Goto -- Item -- Sales A".

  • Userexit which determine the confirm delivery date in order creation

    Hi,
I need to obtain the ATP details which contain confirm delivery date of all the lineitem. The BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY determine the material availability date but not the Confirm delivery date. But I require the Confirm delivery date which will be calculated based on picking, working day ...
Is there any userexit available to determine the Confirm delivery date from the material available date.
    Pls help..urgent..
    Thanks
    Suresh Kumar

    Hi,
The userexits related to the material availability during sales document processing are:
    User Exits For Availability Check
The user exits named here are planned for projects that are to be carried out in agreement with SAP development as they may only be used in consultation with SAP. SAP provides no guarantee if they are used without our advice!
USEREXIT_PLANT_SELECTION in program RV03VFZZ is an exception to this rule (see below).
    User exits in program FV45VFZZ
    USEREXIT_ADD_FIELD_TO_HEADER
    USEREXIT_ADD_FIELD_TO_LINE
    User exits in program FV45VFZY
    USEREXIT_DELIVERY_GROUPS

    User exits in program RV03VFZZ
    USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_IN
    USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_OUT
    USEREXIT_DARA_REFRESH

  • Reg Plan Delivery Date - MRP - Calender Days

    Hi
    This is what i understood
Plnd dely time - Calendar Days [which means including weekends]
GR Processing & Purchase Processing Days - Working Days
    Now, Suppose
    Requirement Date is 06-05-2010.
Plnd dely time - 5 days
    Gr Processing daye = 0
    Purchase Processing Days = 0
When MRP Run and Creates PR with a delivery date 06-05-2010 and PR Release Date = 01.05.2006 [06/05/2010 - 5days]
Which means buyer must convert this PR by 01.05.2006 which is Saturday, which is nonworking day.
There can be a chance that buyer might miss this instances. How do we face these issues
Since Plan delivery date is calendar dates which might push to release dates to weekends, Please suggest

    334,
You can alter any of the 3 durations to meet any of your unique business requirements.
Without knowing why the existing durations have been set the way they are, I can't really answer your question.  If it were me, and the client raised this as an issue, I would probably suggest to the client that he increase the Purchasing processing time to 1 day.
What you do, however, is up to you and the business requirements of your client.

  • Planned Delivery Date and Actual Delivery date.

    Hi,
Is there a report in SAP which shows the delivery date of a PO line item and actual GR posting date from PO history in one report?
I need to display the planned delivery date and actual delivery date in one report, preferably in columns next to each other.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
To my knowledge there is no such report. You will have to develop this report through ABAP help. You need to pick the planned delivery date from the PO and GR posting date from material document. Both this fields (EEIND & BUDAT) can be viewed in the PO history.
However, challenge will be when you have multiple delivery dates and receipt posting dates are for part quantities.

  • 10.7 ERP Question on Planned Shipment Date and Planned Delivery Date

    Hi All,
I have a 10.7 ERP question related to Planned shipment date and Planned Delivery Date which are on shipment::released event.
Are these held and displayed at the shipset / shipment level on ERP database
and forms or are they held & displayed at theline level ?
This question is specific to Oracle ERP 10.7
    Thanks,
    SM

I do not believe 10.7 documentation is available online anymore. Release 11 documentation is available at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A60725_05/r11_doc.htm - the functionality closely resembles 10.7

  • The loading date, transportation date and planned date on the STO are the same as Delivery dates.

    Hi,
We have created a Intra plant STO (plant to plant in the same company code). The planned delivery date is 4 days. So if I create a STO today (27th march), the delivery date is 31st march (excl Saturday and Sunday).
During delivery creation, the loading date, transportation date and planned date are also coming as 31st march. The route determination for the given shipping point and route shows 2 days for transit and 4 hours for pick pack. There is no loading time maintained for the given combination.
Can you please advice why are the dates coming the same as delivery date during delivery creation without considering the duration maintained in route determination ?
    Thanks!!!
    Anuja

    Hi,
This is a standard behavior of SAP in case of Stock Transfer PO.
If you want that the delivery date of receiving plant be transferred to supplying plant, please use BADI MD_STOCK_TRANSFER.
    Hope this helps.

  • How system determine delivery date in sales order

    Hi, sap gurus
I am new to sdn forum please help me regarding my question
    1) how the system will determine delivery date in sales order
    2) what are factors effects to conform sales order stock
    3) what is different between static check and damanic check in credit mgt
    Thanks and regards
    nishad

    hi,
Reg question:1 - System determines the Requested Delivery Date based on the Scheduline assigned to the item category of the item in sales order.the schedule line in the order transfers the requirements trhu MRP (can be individual or collective) . If its ruch order , you configure the order type "Deliver Immediately".
    In Detail:
The TOR depends on the Requirement Type (MMR), Requirement Class(MMR), Checking group(MMR) and the Sc line category (Line Item). For the TOR to happen u need Plant at line item, scheduline category markd for TOR, Requirement Class marked for TOR and Checking group in MMR (Availability check)
What all stocks need to be checked during Availability check is controlled by using the checking rule.. for example for AV -02 Ind Requirements a checking rule will be assigned and this checking rule- and then what all stocks need to be considered to determine the delivery can be maintained here.

  • For a Sales order, what is Actual Delivery Date to Customer?

    Hi Experts,
I am an ABAP consultant. In a particular report, for a Sales order I am asked to display:
    ‘Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)’,
    ‘PGI Date’,
    ‘Requested Delivery Date (VBAK-VDATU)’ and
    ‘Actual Delivery Date to Customer’.
And in addition, I also have to show:
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Delivery Create Date’,
‘No: of days between Delivery Create Date to PGI Date’,
‘No: of days between Requested Delivery Date to Actual Ship Date’ and
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Actual Ship Date’.
I’ve searched SCN for similar questions but I couldn’t get clarity. I’ll be very grateful if somebody can explain me how to find the ‘Actual delivery date to customer’ and what is the difference between this date and ‘Billing date’. Also, please explain, the difference between ‘Delivery Create Date’ & ‘PGI’?

    Hi Rashmith,
It seems the report is related to delivery. Below is the explanation for the different terms you mentioned in your question.
Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)---- when a delivery is created with or without reference of an order system writes the date of creation time of creation and created by in the header data. Creation of delivery does not means that goods are dispatched. There are many steps further after a delivery is created before goods are dispatched.  For example I have created an order, created delivery on 01.01.2014; delivery date will always be 01.01.2014.
PGI Date (LIKP-WADAT_IST)------ Post goods issue date is the date on which goods move out of the company to carrier. This is the last step of delivery. When delivery is created system derives different dates of planning; at this stage it will determine the planned PGI date (LIKP-WADAT) and when actual PGI  happens system writes the date in LIKP-WADAT_IST which is actual goods issue date.
Requested delivery date (VBAK-VDATU)------When order is created for a  customer he asks for a material, a quantity and a date on which he wants the goods. This date on which customer wants the goods is called requested delivery date. Based on the requested delivery date system will check feasibility of delivering the goods on the requested delivery date based on the delivery scheduling.
You can get the RDD based on the below logic.
Input the delivery number in VBFA-VBELN and VBFA-VBTYP_V and get VBFA-VBELV.
Input VBFA-VBELV in VBAK table and get the value of VDATU.
Actual Delivery Date to Customer-----Actual delivery date is Actual post goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST). This is the date on which goods are issued to the customer and customer is liable for billing for the goods dispatched.
Difference between the Actual delivery date (Actual goods issue date) and billing date.
Normally as per standard SAP, once goods are moved out of the company customer is liable to be for billing for the goods dispatched. So by default in standard SAP system copies the actual goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST) as billing date (VBRK-FKDAT) irrespective of the date of creation of the invoice (If delivery is goods issued on 01.01.2014 and billing document/invoice is created today i.e. 14.04.2014, system by default will take 01.01.2014 as billing date). And this is the correct practice.
However  if you want the current date as the invoice creation date instead of the actual goods issue date we can control it by copy controls feature given in SAP.
So based on the copy controls setting, it may be different from the actual goods issue date/ actual delivery date.

  • MD04--- Delivery date--***URGENT***

    Hello Gurus,
In md04 the delivery date is pushed out to open sales order date and i see exception 15
What setting in the system makes it look for dependent requirements
WE WANT delivery date as per PLANNED LEAD TIME
Can any one help me get through this
    Will award  full points
    Justin

what is checking group 32 what is <b>And planned delivery date is 95</b>
    I am not getting you.
If there is no commited date in the PO, that means available qty is zero?
Why are you using STO, you told it is PO?
If I correct- you create a sales order, then you create PO to get that material
Now in sales order you have availability check activated, hence it will look for the receipt element.
Now you are creating PO manually and entering the delivery date manually...
let us say del date you eneterd today.
Your planned delivery days let us say 20 datys,
the system will say "can delivery date met? - it is warning message. if you stll save syetem will save that order.
Now when you see the date in MD04 and if you run MRP, then if the delivery date us not matching with SO delivery date, then system will give resceduling date, which willnot be copied to PO unless you change it.
    See below MD04 sumulation
    <b>DATE---recp/issue-resch date-qty--balance</b>
    20.11.2007Stock--
    0
    10.12.2007SO--
    -10 -
    -10
    15.12.2007PO10.12.2007-- 10 -
    0
Since as per the date proposed by system as per MRP2 view data(planned del days) is 15.12.2007. But required del date from SO is 10.12.2007, hence MRP reschedules and give youn indication that del date should be 10.12.2007 instead of 15.12.2007.
Is it the case with you? if not please give example like what i gave above.

  • Planned Delivery Time from Material Master instead of PIRs

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Do you know if there is a way to have MRP look at the Planned Delivery Time from the Material Master (MRP 2 tab) instead of the PIR?
We would like to create global PIRs with a PDT of 1 and have the Material Master PDT set to a different number (example 5).  So when MRP runs it will read 5 instead of 1.
    Any additional information is appreciated.
    Thank you
    -nic

    Hi Nicholas,
In Standard SAP will consider Planned delivery time maintained in Inforecord and than time maintained in Material master. Inforecord has higher priority than material master. When a requisition is manually created, the Planned Delivery date will always be taken from the material master.
For MRP you can make setting OMDT for your plant or MRP group to determine planned delivery time.
Deactive the flag 'Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement' in Customizing (Plant or MRP group). and test the same.
