Issue in PA - Header Modifications for IT0105

Hi All,
I have done header modifications for PA30 Screen, IT0000, IT0001 and IT 0105 (Communications) and for IT0021.
I am able to get the details of PA, PSA, EG and ESG in the header details.
But when an employee PA/PSA/EG/ESG has changed becoz of any action, the same information is not shown in IT0105 header details. System is picking up the old PA/PSA/EG/ESG details only.
If i change the start date in IT0105 as per the last action run, then it is picking up the updated information. Where in the employee IT0105 (Mail ID/ Mobile Num) remains the same from his Date of joining.
But as the action is been run and the PA/PSA/EG/ESG has already changed the same information should be updated automatically.
Request you to guide me to get the updated PA/PSA/EG/ESG in header details of IT0105.

check the F1 help of Field CHOOSE DATA in Table V_582A_B.

If you set the Choose Data indicator, you will use data that is valid for the start date of the current processed, or displayed, infotype record to structure the infotype header.
If you do not set the Choose Data indicator, the data that is valid for the system date will be used to structure the infotype header.
so uncheck the CHOOSE DATA field

Directory Caching issue with Cisco Jabber client for Windows

Hi ,
I am facing cache issue with Cisco Jabber client for Windows. If I do any change related to modification or deletion of contacts in Active Directory/ Callmanager, it does not reflect in the Jabber. Because jabber takes the contacts from the locally stored cache file in the Windows system.
Every time I have to remove the cache file to overcome this issue, practically it's not possible to do the same with all the Widows users. As, if any employee leaves the company and still I can see his contact appears in the "Cisco Jabber client". I have not seen this issue with Android/Apple iOS.
Is there any automated way to remove the cache file?

On our environment we had to install a dedicated Microsoft Certificate Authority "just for Cisco Jabber usage" to house the
Network Device Enrollment Service.
Our certificate for the CUPS were generated on this Certification Authority too.
I discussed this certificate matter with my colleagues this afternoon and nobody seems to remember how these certificates were deployed into the
Enterprise Trust store for the users.
But I think they asked all 400 users to accept the 3 certificates by answering "yes" to the popup instead of using a script deployed by GPO...
I wish you success with that deployment and really hope you have a technical partner that *Knows* this subject.
Our partner left us alone with that unfortunately.

Issue while changing validity date for assigned roles: SAP IDM 7.2 SP8

Hello Experts
I assigned the Task on repository for validity modification for Roles as in below screenshot:
When I modify the role validity, Task defined for Validity modification doesnt get triggered and IDM executes the tasks defined as Modify Task and fails with below errors:
1. Could not obtain repository name from Pending object.
2. Error ! Audit id , Variable doesnt exist in MXPT_GET_ENTRYTYPE.
I tried checking provisioning audit logs but could'nt find any Audit ID created for validity modification and I guess due to this tasks are getting cancelled.
Why the task defined in Modify Valdity tasks doesnt get triggered when I modify the Role assignment validity ?
Am I doing anything wrong with the SAP Standard way of working ?

Hi Deepak/Chris,
We are also facing a similar issue in our project where modifying validity of the role does not trigger any task. We then changed the Modify attribute(in task tab) on the priveleges to "inhereted".
The modify task is now triggered and completes successfully. However, no changes occur in backend.
We need unedrstand where do we maintain the setting to define which attributes(if changed) will trigger an event task in the provisioning framework. the "check attributes modification" task within the provisioning framework executes the below query:
select COUNT(VarName) from mxpv_audit_variables where AuditID=%AUDITID% and VarValue='%MSKEY%' and VarName='MARK_EXEC_MODIFY_ATTR%MSKEY%'
The query gives the result as "False" in case we only modify the validity of the role assigned to user. Thus no event tasks are executed for the same.
Can anyone please share where do we define the attributes for this query to give "True" as result for role validity modification.

New Header Text for PR

Dear colleagues,
I have created a new header text for PR under object EBANH (as Z01) from transaction code SE75. This new header text appears when creating/changing PR but when I fill this new header text right behind saving of PR filled data disappears from this new header text of PR.
Can you please advice how to solve this issue?

EBANH is active if it wouldn't have than I couldn't maintain the original text area (B01) supplied by SAP. But I can simply maintain and save original header note of PR.

Currently I'm working with excel SAP interfacing. For this I am using VBA to call different BAPI functions.
I have already some interface scripts working, however I have also one which I cannot discover what I'm missing.
The VBA code is to reach BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

after some searching I've discovered that once I'm creating next line for accounting document it is not working properly.
When I debug the BAPI in SE37 after inserting new line it is asking for GL account input, however if I run it using VBA and delete the account from the code, the return message is not giving me any error that GL account is missing.
I appreciate any ideas.

After establishing the connection For the URL : http://calendar.google.com/ the response code is different for different HTTP METHODS.
For the method HEAD the response code is 404
For the method GET the response code is 302
Ideally according to W3 standards the header part for both methods should be same.

Unfortunately all the websites are not following the same standards.
The above brings up an important issue.
(i.e) soley depending on the HEAD method for checking the validity of the link may fail sometimes even if the link is
valid.

Archiving of Soap header part for a synchronous interfaces

We have a requirement where we have to retain the soap header details for a longer period for tracking purpose. So is there any option of archiving only soap header part from the message for a synchronous interface.
More Information about the requirement:
1. We will be passing some parameters to the XI Soap header.
2. In the WSDL we will add the header fields, so that the end system can populate them.This is done for tracking and searching the message, end to end.
3. Another thing to note, is that, for synchronous messages the payload will not be available (without enabling logging), Can we search the messages using the values in the header?
4. The above process is done, keeping in mind that when the messages are archived, the XI soap header will be the only thing that will be archived and not the whole payload, and the messages that are archived can be searched or retrieved based on the values in the XI Soap header.

Header Condtion for RFQ and Conract pricing procedure

we have configured new pricing procedure purchansing documents.
We are able to see in PO, header and Item condtion types but In RFQ and COntract we are able to see only at item level.
Please guide us how to resolve this issue.

Hi,
please check first the document type for the RFQ and the contract you
are using. Was the time-dependent conditions flag set for these document types?
The standard schema for purchasing documents is RM0000. In gross price
condition type PB00, supplementary calculation schema is RM0002.
When updating time-dependent conditions in a purchasing document, the
system will first check the main schema. It will check the first
condition type, which is the gross price condition type PB00 in
standard. It will find the supplementary pricing procedure (RM0002 in
in standard) that is assigned to the gross price condition type. These
are the supplementary conditions that can be included together with
pb00 for the quotation item.
Table A019 is used for header conditions for contracts, scheduling
agreements and quotations using time-dependent conditions. When you
want to maintain header conditions in the quotation, the system will
check all conditions in standard schema RM0000, to see if any contain
an access sequence that includes table A019. In standard, only condition
type RA01 contains an access sequence which includes table A019.
Therefore condition type RA01 will be proposed for updating in standard.
RA01 is defined with it's own supplementary pricing procedure RM0001.
You will only be able to include condition types that are used together
with RA01 as supplementary conditions from RM0001!

Andrew is right, dbx 6.2 is very old; technically, it is supported on Solaris 10, but as you can see for yourself, there are issues to be fixed.
Only limited support is available for this version, so if you have a support contract, please report this problem through the support channel. Better yet (and in case if you don't have support contract), upgrade to a more modern version. Since you are on Solaris 10, I'd recommend latest version of Sun Studio - 12 update 1; it is free for all uses and can be downloaded from here: http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/.

Issues during Component Batch Determination for Process Orders

I am encountering a strange issue during component batch determination of process order.
1. During creation of process order, when I execute batch determination, systems does determination based on strategies we have set and when I click on Copy it gives an error
"Log cannot be saved: Object/subobject not specified"
Message no. BL201
*Diagnosis
Log save cancelled because at least one log contains no object or subobject.
Object and subobject are needed to classify application logs because there are several log types. Only a few logs are managed in main memory at runtime, so this classification is not needed.
If the logs are to be saved in the database, object/subobject must be specified for later retrieval.
Procedure for System Administration
Object/sub object can be passed when a log is created (function module BAL_LOG_CREATE) and changed with BAL_LOG_CHANGE.
The possible values for object and sub object must be configured in transaction SLG0.*
If I save the order with CRTD status and come back again in change mode and do determination, It works fine.
Again when the order is in REL status and do the determination, It gives the same error.
This happens only for a specific plant, In other plants batch determination works in all scenarios.
I checked for all plant related Config for batch determination and coudn't find any discrepancies.
Please advise how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your help

There Is no direct solution for your requirement just try this work around.
While defining the batch determination search strategy for process order in COB1, there is one column Quantity proposal where you can attach the Routines (This is written in ABAB code ) make use of this, define New Routines with ABAB help to fulfill your requirement. Try this if found useful award full points.

I have also spoken to Apple Support on the phone for hours without being able to figure out how to do this ( i don't think he knew much either lol.) While we created the service order as a fallow up document of the quotation system unable to create the PR. System showing the above error in the service order.
We created the service order with same items directly not as fallow up document to quotation PR created with out any fail.
As per my analyses above error because system unable to find out the Internal order to create the PR hence we created service order as a fallow up document of the service quotation.
Revert require data to understand the issue more.

Thanks for your update. we checked as per your suggestion but the issue is PR is not determining the IO while creating the PR.
We used the different item cat in quotation and service order system generating the PR, But our Clint want to use the same item cat in the both service order and quotation.
If we created the quotation after that service order with the service line item and spare part line item system creating the IO (internal order) but PR not generating.
Please help me in this scenario what should we do.

Go to material master, select "Sales: sales org.1" view and assign "01" against the field "DChain-spec. status" and save. By assigning, for a particular sales area, you can block that material.
Now go to OVSU select 01 and assign "B" against the field "Block delivery".
Now create a sale order and post the outcome.
