Issue in page no printing.

Dear All,
I have a freefrom (Processing=0) datawindow. When I am retrieving this datawindow in design mode as print preview it display 2 pages.
But when I am going to print this datawindow from design mode with the following code it display "page 1 of 2" in page 2.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

I have had issue myself where i go to print a page and the margin is too wide and it prints an extra page. Also, sometimes i have calculated fields and other columns that I push off to the right of the datawindow border that cause me pain when I try to print.
To help with that, I temporarily expand the detail band and take all of those 'extra' fields and push them under the 'visible' area. Then I push the detail band border back up.
Generally this helps with my printing.

Issue custom page printing

Hi all,
As per requirement custom page with 11 inch X 12 inch page size.In windows in default page setting is "letter" so when i am taking print out ,system is considering that letter format and it is not printing all the data as per form developde .
if i maintained in window page setting as A3 size paper then all data is printing but in next page is skipping up 1/4 page and 2nd page is printing from there only.
Requireemnt is system should not consider the windows default setting and it should consider the paeg size what defined in SAP.The users in client orgabnisation are not allowed to change any windows settings.
Kindly guide me how we can solve the issue by doing development in SAP.

This issue is resolved by setting the clipper / ruler of dotmatrix printer.

Scanning multiple pages from print book into computer

How to scan multiple pages from print book into computer? Someone supplied a link to this question, but I got stuck at step 1: Where is "HP Director software"? In other directions, it says to open the "HP Scan window," but that option is not available to me when I follow the directions. I have an HP 2159m computer, HP Photosmart Plus all-in-one, Windows 7, and use Firefox, if that's any help.

I have a similar problem:
I am using an HP Officejet 6310xi via its TWAIN interface. Regardless of which application invokes TWAIN (whether Irfanview, Thumbs Plus, or something else), the scanner dialog closes after transferring each scanned image. To scan the next page requires re-starting the scanner, beginning with a whole new preview and re-entering all my scan settings. This is only an issue with the HP scanner, not with my Cannon CanoScan LIDE 100, Visioneer OneTouch 8920, or any other scanner, each of whose scanner dialogs stay open for scan after scan. Can anyone help me make the HP scanner dialog stay open for multiple pages?
Note: Based on a suggestion on another site I set my scan preferences to include "Prompt for Additional Scans from Glass" as follows, but it did not help.
I am experienced at scanning, but I find it extremely frustrating that the HP scan dialog closes, forgetting its settings, after each page.

Smartform issue with page break

Hi All,
I have an unusual issue with page break. Here is my scenario, I have a group of items in my table main area and for each group there is sort of header that prints. Similarly there are multiple groups needing a header whenever there is a new group printing. So far it prints fine. But whenever there is a page break and when items from the same group also print on the next page the same header needs to print on the top of next page similar to how the header area repeats on each page. Unfortunately I did not see any page break event for table main area.
Here is an alternative I have tried but having issues: I have created two rows for this group header one printing from header and another printing from main area. Whenever there is a page break the same group header prints as part of the header and on the rest of the page it prints from the main area. But in a particular scenario, there is a new group starting at almost bottom of the page but as there is not enough space left on the same page (page protection) jumps to next page. In this case there are two group headers printed one coming from the preivous page main area and another coming from the next page header. I hope my explanation is clear enough to understand.
Please suggest if there is any basic feature of smartform that I have missed out can solve this issue or if there is another alternative you can think of. I appreciate your responses.

I was able to solve this issue on my own.
Instead of checking for a page break on header line I am using a flag that is prepopulated in the table. I set this flag whenver a new group of items starts. If the flag is set I print it from the main area and if it is not set I print it from the header. This helped in avoiding the multiple header lines..

All the Pages are Printed - Document Printing Sales Orders

When using the Document Printing option for Sales Orders, if I select multiple documents and select print I get a message after each document that says "All the Pages are Printed", then the next document comes for printing. I also get a prompt each time whether or not to print Sales Order only or Sales Order and Pick List.
I don't have the same issue if printing Invoices from Document Printing. It asks what to print and prints all records without additional prompts between each record. I don't see anything in Print Preferences that would cause the Order to act differently from the Invoice.
We are using B1 9.0 PL 06.

Unexpected size in Tray 1, Load A4 and press OK; 1st page of a multi page document prints fine...

Hello everybody, I have an annoying issue with a HP Laserjet Pro 100 MFP M175nw. The issue is that printing from any application and any PC platform (read Windows XP, 7 and 8.x, Mac OSX SnowLeopard and Linux) the first page is printed without a problem but the second page and the rest of the pages never get printed without intervention. The printer simply stops after printing the first page, the control panel display shows the message "Unexpected size in tray 1" "Load A4 and press OK." pressing OK button the 2nd page is printed, for the 3rd and the nth page same procedure.... The printer is out of warranty and HP does not provide any support on this subject. Printer is using genuine HP drum and toner cartridges. This isssue came up after having printed in total approximatively 7000+ (bw & color) pages in the past 2 years. The paper size used is A4, the printer is configured to use this paper by default. To remedy the problem checked all suggestions by HP provided online and checked some Dutch (HP) forums without finding a proper solution. Followed all advice such as resetting the printer, reinstalling drivers, updated firmware, using HP doctor.., replaced and changed paper lot several times, replaced toners etc etc ect no luck in printing whole documents without intervention. The issue is that printing from any application and any PC platform using either PCL or PS, USB or Ethernet or wireless (read Windows, Mac OSX and Linux) the first page is printed without a problem but the second page and the rest of the pages never get printed without intervention. The printer simply stops after printing the first page, continues to do something, lots of noise, displays printer cooling down or so message on the control panel and immediately afterwards the control panel display shows the message "Unexpected size in tray 1" "Load A4 and press OK." I am no expert in hardware but I do know enough about using the PC; I guess the problem is related to hardware which is logical as all mainstream PC platforms display same behavior. I could surely carry-in the printer to a HP service center but the price they charge would urge me to spend the money on a new printer; not HP branded one that is. Cannot print -- random text & blank pages when printing -- HP Color Laserjet 3600N

I'm having some trouble connecting my computer and printer via a network connection. The printer functions fine among other computers (Mac, PC) connected via a network connection, but one particular MacBook is giving me trouble.
I can get the printer and laptop to connect, however when I try to print, it gets buggy on me. Usually it will print a page with some random text, followed by an excess amount of blank pages, then another page with text similar to the first. The text usually has information including font types and other formatting data, but not what was "printed."
I have tried to update the printer drivers, but I cannot get the printer utility to utalize them. After installing the most recent drivers, it will continue to suggest the generic laser printer drivers (1.0 verison), or I can choose other printer drivers (including "base" 3000 model drivers), but the 3600N drivers are not avalible on the list. Both the generic drivers and the HP drivers give me the random text upon printouts.
The laptop is a MacBook Pro with 10.6.
What is the best course of action to remedy the printer problem?

Over the holidays, I spent a couple of hours on the phone with HP, a couple with Microsoft, and previously with Apple. Microsoft said they are working on updates, should be fixed by the release of Office 2008. Apple says there's a compatibility issue among the HP printer and Leopard and "some" programs. HP tells me it's an "old" printer (which they were happy to sell me in April 2007) and they may not release new drivers. HP also says Apple knows there are printing issues.
In the meantime, I'm using Pages and shopping for a new non-HP printer.

Only page 1 prints well. Page 2 is offset to the right and information is lost at the page break. FireFox 8 and 9, Mac OS 10.6.8

If I print a web page, either just print or save as PDF, only the first page prints well. Page 2 is offset to the right such that the information is cut off at the right edge. Information is lost at the page break, several lines of text will be lost. If I need to print a page, I open Safari, which does a very nice job of formating the page for print. But I want to use FireFox. Can you help me?

Pages always prints envelopes upside down

When using Pages to print envelopes, my HP laserjet always prints the envelope upside down. Apple and HP indicate I shoudl feed the envelopes with the top to the right. This works properly with everyother piece of software I have used
I know, when I use Pages I could just change the orientation of the envelope in the envelope feed slot, or check "reverse page orientation" in the Print dialog (so the envelope is upside down in the print preview.) But I'd prefer not to have to remember random procedures to accomodate software malfunctions. Is there some preference I can set in Pages (or something) to fix this so it works correctly?
PS.I hate to post this as a question, but the Apple Support Communities (SW platform, not the people ) has sort of forces this.
Why in the world does it present "Ask a question" as the main option. Initially I skipped that, but the community search funcion really *****. Searching is incredibly non-intuitive and poorly targeted (If I'm in the pages section why is it giving me totally unrelated results from unrelated sections?
Get on the ball Apple. You broke the "Support Communities" website and the OS X built in "Help Center" years ago, and still haven''t fixed them.
Thank God for all the helpful Mac users out there, because Apple's help and support efforts (Help platforms, manuals, etc.) seem to have fallen by the wayside.

No help on your actual question, but some comments on the search function here.
Search offers the choice of limiting the searsch to a specific community/forum when the first results are presented. You can also limit the search to a specific user.
The basic search is a keyword search, and turns up any post that has that keyword in it (with some weighting added by then software). Searches search for "Any" of the terms included in the query unless you limit the results using commands such as AND or NEAR. Not all that intuitive, I'll agree.
One other feature of the ASC site is the 'related' topics list, "More Like This," that appears after you've submitted a query. You'll find the list to the right of the message(s) in the community. A click opn the (green) checked items will often provide a solution to your(well described) issue.
None marked 'solved' on the list at this time, but some worth exploring for hints or a solution.

Rearrange pages when printing adobe form with multiple master pages

Hello!
Good day to you all.
I have an issue in regards with printing my adobe form with multiple Master pages. I have 4 master pages:
1st master page: a
2nd master page: b
3rd master page: c
4th master page: d
all with different headers and footers all having the same contents (items). I don't have issue with one page content (it just prints 4 pages with different headers and footers). The issue comes out once the items exceed 1 page.
What happens is that the preview/print shows (example: 3-page item)
a1-a2-a3-b1-b2-b3-c1-c2-c3-d1-d2-d3.
What i need is to print these such that all 1st pages of the 4 master page to be printed first, then all the 2nd pages, then all 3rd pages. Please see below:
a1-b1-c1-d1-a2-b2-c2-d2-a3-b3-c3-d3
This is because we will be using carbonless copy paper during printing and it's possible that it would be printed on batch jobs. Please suggest ways to do this.

Can you have a Print button on this screen or you should be using the Abobe toolbar's Print button..?
Well if this on a click of a button in the form and the requirement is only at the time of print and not on print prieview I can have a JS script which does this...
Let me know if this suffice, I can try with a local file and send you the script.

AR Invoice Printing Blank page when printed through printer

Hi,
I customized AR invoice to give PDF output through BI Publisher.There is no issue when tried to view the output.
When tried to print the output through printer, It's given blank page.
All other BI publisher reports which will give PDF output in Straight single request are printing through printer correctly.
But AR invoice By standard program itself when fired, First a Multi Language Function will fire which will have output of 0 bytes and after that as a child request Original program with Required output will fire.
It seems that printer is printing Parent request output.
Can anyone please help me regarding this.

I'm guessing the concurrent program is outputting text (character mode) as opposed to PDF?
This could be a number of reasons:
1. Printer driver issue, e.g. the number of lines printed on the page is more than is defined for the printer driver: Try reducing the "Rows" on the current program definition
2. Printer PRT issue, extra page break could be being inserted.
3. The "box" in the report definition containing the address could be being expanding due to the extra address line, but not enough space so it forces a new page to be printed.

Web pages are printed incorrectly, i.e. left side of page in p.1, right side on page 2. This started recently. Correct printer is identified.

Firefox recently updated. Now, printing a web page results in left side printed on p.1, right side on page 2. Using the same Canon D9000 printer. Selecting horizontal format causes the left side of page to be printed 1/2 size on 1/4 page! Printing same web page with IE is OK. Printing from MS`Word is OK.

All web pages? Or just some? Example of a page where that happens?

SAPScript - Print Preview 2 Pages - Physical Print overlap as 1 Page

I have a problem with Invoice SAPScript Printing - where the print preview is good with 2 Pages,
But when it physical prints out - Only 1 page and overlapping the Second page content to the first.
Any idea where did I miss out?

Sheelesh is right.
I had both SAPScript and Smartform issue with the overlapping printing.
What you need to do is to check your page format to see if it is the correct size for the specific printer.
If it is too big for the printer paper size - it will overlap the printing as 1 page.
For example : A4 Lanscape printing on normal HP Laser Printer - DINA4 Landscape should be used.
Or at least when you define your own page format - refer to the correct size and orientation.
