Issue in Print & Print Preview

Hi All,
          I have a report in which the output is displayed correctly. In output I have process order field
          AUFNR LIKE AFKO-AUFNR. Then length of field is 12 Chars. Now in the output the data is
          comming correctly for all the fields, however when I print the data or take the print preview
          I am not able to see the last 3 to 4 digits of AUFNR displayed in the output and they are shown
          as '640000383..' after printing the soutput list. However the AUFNR with 12 chars is shown
          perfectly in the o/p display. I am using FM DISPLAY_BASIC_LIST to display the o/p.
          Why is this happening in case of print or print preview only ?
          Please let me know regarding the above Issue.

Issue While printing / Previewing a Adobe form in Web Dynpro ABAP application

Dear All,
We have designed 4 different adobe forms using SFP transaction for 4 different countries in SAP system.
Every country have different terms and conditions and therefore we have placed static texts (Hardcoded text) with text in different styles. Some text is in bold, some in different font (Bold, Italic). Font and Paragraph settings of the text was done as per expected. All the forms have same font and paragraph settings.
When we Launch Web Dynpro ABAP application to open the form in Print preview or to take print, form is not getting displayed / printed as it is designed in SFP. But if you open the form in SFP, everything looks fine.
It is working fine for 3 different forms but problem with only 1 form.
Kindly guide what is the reason for this strange issue when previewed or taken print. It is very urgent.

Thanks for your responses.
We had identified the reason.
Customer has provided terms and conditions for all 4 countries in PDF document. Along with PDF, for 3 out of 4 countries customer has shared pre-prepared word document with pre aligned and justified terms and conditions as per expected outcome. We copied this text from word to Adobe form layout. It worked fine. For 1 country, customer have not shared terms and conditions in word document. Therefore we had copied text directly from adobe PDF document in to Form layout. Then this issue happened.
Solution for this issue is to, prepared a word document with expected alignment and justification of terms and conditions text . Then copied from word to adobe livecycle designer form layout. It worked fine.

Pusrchase order having 3 line item But print preview in PDF shows blank.

Hi All,
Purchase order has 3 line items. While taking print preview in PDF format 1st page shows 1 line item and 2nd page is blank.
I am not understanding the issue why other two line items are not getting displayed.?
Please provide me with the solution.

Yes,there is a issue in print preview itself , if there is a issue in Print Prview that means page is gets skipped on next page ,therefore 2nd page automatically gets blank ,debug the same with abapor ,if this problem gets resolved then automatically system will convert the document in PDF as per print preview.

Print Preview Corrupted

Hi guys.
Need your help.
We have an issue regarding print preview. I'm trying to print Korean characters and in the print preview it's garbled. But in the print out itself it show perfectly.
How to solve this?
We already have the correct device type for Unicode (cascading fonts). We have the same device type for Japanese and it's working perfectly in both print preview and print out. Now we are wondering what's wrong with Korean print preview?

Hi,
Have you applied any patches before that, if yes pls check the cause else you remove the driver and install again with proper driver and try it. As per my knlwledge this is related to your driver.

Print preview problem after SP upgrade in ECC 6.0

We have recently upgraded support packages in our sap system. During tetsing we have come up some issues with print preview in sp01 transaction.
If we click on print preview This is missing a lot of the formatting e.g. lines and logos. However, the printout does have elements. Please find below system information and sp patch details.

Print preview invoice issue for a parcular invoice in vf03

Hi,
I am facing an issue with the print preview invoice. I have 2 billing document nos., for billing document 3117101008 when I go to "Billing Document"->"Issue to output"-> and click on "print preview" I get an output, but for the other billing document 3117101007 when I click on "Print preview" nothing happens, it just keeps on loading and everything gets hanged.
Do I need to do any modifications in my custom include "YV0023INV_PRINT_F01" or is there anything linked with the header details table 'IT_HU_HEAD'.
Please advise, appreciate your efforts.

Are you facing this issue only to this billing document ?
Did you check the same for 1008 billing document ? First try to open 1007 and then next open 1008 document, here please check are you facing the same issue like screen keeps on loading issue.

Issue Regarding Chinese characters In Smart Form Print preview..

Hi All,
I am working on a smart form development for chinese users. The requirement is the user will login using English & when the delivery will be issued for output, a check will be done on the country of user. If that comes as china then the international version (C) maintained for that customer will come as output.
Now the problem is even if I login using EN or ZH the below issue I am facing always.
In the database I can view the details in chinese properly by logging in as ZH. During debugging also i checked the data from table ADRC & MAKT is coming in chinese properly. But when i gave the values to be output in SmartForm, it is showing the characters like how it will look if I login using EN & view the table contents.
When i view the data by changing character set as Simplified Chinese then in table i can see chinese texts properly. But when the same data goes to print preview it shows the chinese characters like as it would appear when character set is Unicode or West European..
Please help..

Dear,
print preview and physical printout are two different things.
PrintPreview:
The data stream will be sent to the frontend and rendered with windows-fonts etc (for backend prints a simulation).
Printout:
Frontend: You need a printer, that maps the character, you have to use SAPWIN or SAPWINCF when using cascading fonts. The rendering will be done in the windows spooler.
Backend: Your printer needs also a mapping (look like something with UTF8). Also the printer needs the fonts installed because the rendering will be done in the printer!
If you use the pdf-printer in SAP, you need to upload all necessary fonts (TTF) for the pdf-composer. Also you need a unicode pdf printer for that.

Issue with ALV grid print preview/spool

Hello everyone,
I am working on a report and I am having some issues with ALV grid. Currently in our DEV and QA environments the user can run the report, view the ALV grid, and print the grid without any issues.
However this isn't the case in the Prod environment. The user is able to run the report and view the grid without any issues. But when they click print preview or click print, the spool is incorrect. It shows the proper values from the grid, but the first field is reduced in length. Rather than showing a numeric field of length 10 it shows 99999999# or 99999999...
The programs are identical through every environment, including user parameters, formats, and spool settings. I have been told printing grids may have some issues, does anyone have any advice or dealt with this issue before?

Issue in viewing 'Print Preview' of SAPScript output in different languages

Hi All,
I have developed a SAP Script.
It is working correctly in English in all aspects.
I have created few standard texts for headers in SO10 and maintained in different languages.
In Print program also while retrieving these text i have used Order's language.
In debug mode also it is showing texts in different language (Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc...).
But in print preview it is showing as # every where we suppose to print headers from standard texts.
How can i view these texts in their original language (Order)!
Can anybody provide the solution for the same!

Hi,
I have selected 'Supplemental language support' boxes.
But still it is not working.
Can anybody solve above posted issue!
In PO it is showing in Japanese/Chinese etc.. characters.
In SO10 it is showing texts in respective languiages.
In debug mode of Print program & Layout set text is shown in respective language of text based on country of PO.
But in print preview it is showing as # everywhere there must text in different language.
Only in English i am able to view print preview correctly.
Can anybody provide inputs for resolving this issue!

Regarding Smart Form Printing, Print Preview issues

I have couple of issues regarding Smart Form Printing, Print Preview.
In my program i am passing below parameters to smart form function module:
t_control-device = c_printer.
t_control-no_dialog = space.
t_control-preview = space.
t_control-no_dialog = c_x.
t_output-tddest = g_spld.
t_output-tdimmed = c_x. " Print Immediately
t_output-tddelete = space. " Don't Release spool after output
g_user_settings = c_x.
Issue#1: Though i have set preview paramter to space, after executing program it is prompting for Preview Screen, There again i have to give printer name though i am passing printer name as above and i need to hit on print preview button to set Layout output.
Here how can i go directly to layout output without preview screen.
Issue#2: In some cases we need to Print the layout set output after executing program immediately without prompting for preview screen and then Layout set output should also be shown after printing the output.
How can i solve these issues!

Hi,
In the SAP menu screen goto <b>System->User Profile->Own data</b>
There in the defaults tab, for the output device give the value you had maintained for <b>g_spld.</b> This will not prompt you a dialog screen, and if you want to print immediately select the checkbox as well. Then try to execute the smartform. Hope this solves ur issue.

Whenever i have created po in me21n t.code for two materials that time my outputype neu coming automaticaly and po print out also come for two materials in me9f .
Supoose i have change quantity in me22n t.code for first line item for same po that time also neu coming automatically.but in me9f coming printout first line item only,after that po quantity changed available text in print preview,second line item material not comes,i need second line material also in print preview,plz help.

in nace t.code EF purchase order for my condition records NEU for my document type nb and my vendor vn and message transsmission medium 5, dispatch time 3,language En,and my communication output device HP and save it
SPRO-IMG-MM-PURCHASING-MESSAGES-MESSAGE TYPES-DEFINE MESSAGE TYPES FOR PURCHASE ORDER-FINED TUNED CONTROL PURCHASE ORDER-operation 1 for neu automatic generation in me21n, then operation 2 for neu automatic generation in me22n.

Hi,
One thing you can do is, create a GUI Status resembleing the current GUI status, except the Print Prieview Button.Ans set the GUI Status before calling the Transaction in BADI or User Exit.

Chcek the setting for your OUTPUT TYPE in NACE t.code for appplication EF. Also check program , form & routine for OUTPUT TYPE .Also check the despatch time setting for the put type.
Also check the transmission medium in condition record for your output type MN04/MN05 .

Print preview issue with invoice script

Hi folks
i am working on preparing UTP for a invoice script(modification of standard one).
here when i am running the billing document number in VF02 i am not able to see the print preview.
i would like to know what should i do on this as i need a printpreview to prepare UTP on this layout.
when i select the message type(output type) of that layout and press the option print preview nothing is happening.
when i say print in the status bar it is giving success message and when i saw in the spool the status is in waiting.
can anyone let me know what i need to do ?

if not ist see the out put type by going to Tcode NACE
after thatjust go through the steps...
1 vf02 > give a doc no-> enter
2
from menue bar chose GOTO> Header> output
3.
now give the output type . medium -> printout press enter
4
save and go bck to 1st screen of vf02
from menue bar chose billing document--> issueoutput type
chose select the printout and select print preview.

Print Preview issue related to Purchase Order

I am working on purchase order printout. For the creation of P.O. I have worked on printout ad its working fine. As comes to change purchase order, client is using same output type and if they take the printout its coming as
Amendment to P.O. (In case creation of new purchase order printout Its coming as Purchase order only.) And in the change purchase order printout, its showing the items changed(But in print preview i am able to see the the new created purchase order only....not the changed purchase order print preview)..
How can I see the change purchase order print preview?..so that I can make the changes as per the client requirement.

This is possible provided you have mantained Individual Capacity Defination in the Capacity header of the work center. Since yours is Labour you need to assign the person to the Individual capacity details for Machine you can define your own naming. With this you should be able to confirm every product with referance to the Individual Machine.
Since you are using Serial Numbers, I assume that GR you are doing using transaction MB31 or MIGO, where you can assign the Serial Number to the material.
