Issue : In retransporting Smartforms in Quality server

Dear All,
In retransporting Smartforms in Quality server ,Smartforms is
not executing from outside, but if i m going in display mode and
executing from inside then i m able to execute it.But its getting executed when i transport the smartform with different name.
While debugging in Function Module SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME ,
L_FP_UDAT is getting updated from table d010sinf and L_SF_UDAT is
getting updated from table stxfadm.
L_SF_UDAT should less than L_FP_UDAT or if it is equal then L_FP_UTIME
should greater than L_SF_UTIME as per debugging.
then it is calling FB_GENERATE_FORM and in that it is checking for
Smart Form name and it is going for message.
if i_formname = space.
message e206 raising no_name.
endif.
During generating message it is going on infinite loop.

I have declared a variable of type TDSFNAME. and passing my smartform name in this variable. and in Function Module SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME, I am passing this variable. but again same problem is coming , and not able to generate SmartForm .

    I created a custom infotype in PPCJ. Its working fine in development server.
    We transport the request to Quality server and created a record in PO13 t-code for the custom infotype.
    There i am getting a success message that 'Record is created'. If i check in tables HRP9009 and HRT9009
    can't able to see the datas which are created.
    Its working fine in development server, but not in Quality. Have anybody faced this type of issue?

    I have done cache refresh and also crosschecked all the objects comparing with DE system but i am wondering how i am getting file payload in jdbc channel and jdbc payload in file channel after transporting from DEV to QAS.

  • Field selection issue in dev & quality server for PO

    Dear All,
    I have an issue regarding PO field setting in development and quality server.
    Requirement was that PO can not be created without PR (means PR is mandatory) for a particular document type ZDOM.
    So i have created new field selection filed by copying NBF field selection and assigned with document type ZDOM.
    So when i am testing this scenario in DEV server it is working fine but after transporting to Quality server, it is not working in q system.
    Again i reimpoted the same request but still it is not working. So what could be the reason?
    Pls refer the attached screen short.

    I have done the same settings in my development client. But I can still create PO without reference PR.
    Then I have tried parameter EFB. Then its working perfect..
    Use buyers authorization in OMET..
    Check the settings..
    Here untick the option W/o Reference..
    Then assign the profile to user id in SU3.
    Then try to create PO without PR.. You will receive a authorization error...
    But the problem is its user level not at client level..
    Test and revert back..

    Logos are not transported. You need to create it in all systems individually.Transports cannot carry image files!! Although you know how to create logos but still for your reference this very popular link:

  • Issue on transport to quality server

    Hi all,
    my basis guy has released all the transport requests to the quality server. But i cld not see any condition tables  or access sequence copied in my quality server.
    in SE10 there is only request on Pricing Procedure, there fore the pricing is been copied in quality but with descriptions of condtion types, access sequence and condition types .
    plz suggest me what shld i do now in this case.

    Hi Anil,
    The transports pertaining to pricing procedure are client dependent ones whereas the ones related to condition table are client independent(Table creation)
    So first check the objects of the transport which is now in Quality server in the previous server itself. Mostly it will not have any Atables (Atables are the condition tables).
    First pls check whether the transport mechanism for client dependent and client independent tports are same or different.
    If same, and if the objects are there in the transport in the first server, then check its log while transporting to quality server.
    If different, please follow the procedure for client independent tports and move the condition tables .
    I  think access seq is again client dependent. So take care of condition tables and access sequences in different transports to take care of the scenario.
    In our project the tport mechanisms are different for client dependent and client independent tports and hence we follow separate procedure for condition table and access seq(in 2 different transports)

  • 'Screen does not exist' error after transported to Quality server.

    I have a report program which is working fine in development server. It is transported to quality server and when executed it throws dump. There is a CALL SCREEN statement in the program and the dump shows screen 1001 does not exists. I checked the program on quality server and when i double clicked on the screen number, it tells screen 1001 does not exist and do you want to create??. I rechecked the program in Development server and confirmed everything is active and have been catched in the transport request. When I checked with the basis guy, he said there was a component conflict error with the request while transporting and he overrided it.
    Please tel me what should I do to solve this issue. Its very urgent. Please help.

    Hi
    You seem to have run into some trouble with transports. Did someone perhaps develop this report in the QA  server?
    I would suggest this:
    In SE80. display your report. Then in the hierarchy on the left, right click on your report and select 'write transport entry' . This option will ask you to create a new transport for your report and all objects inside it. Take that transport to the QA server. It should include the entire report, including screens.
    If you have trouble importing into the QA server, please provide the transport logs here.

  • Changes are not reflecting in Quality server

    Dear All,
    We have recently installed the Portal 7.4 servers.
    Currently we are having two servers Development and Quality.We have Configured NWDI using CMS and created tracks(Defined run-time systems as Development and Consolidation)  we are able to checkin the activities at NWDS , when we are selecting the component in the consolidation and on  click of  import we are getting the message as import finished, but the changes are not reflecting at the Quality server. i.e in earlier 7.01 version when we imported , the ear was deployed automatically in quality but it is not getting deployed in the new version 7.4

    As per the given link the track is configured  with out any issues (When we are clicking on Deployment in the Transport studio it is opening new tab like below and we are not having any errors when we click on Start deployment nothing is happening)

    Hello Shishir,
    It looks as if the issue is with the permissions of saparch directory,
    Check the permissions of oracle/QBS/saparch/archQBS and /oracle/QBS/920_64 oracle_profile /oracle/QBS/920_64/dbs/initQBS.ora  directories and compare with the production server
    Also make sure that initQBS.ora is present in the location specified

  • Signature is not showing in Quality Server but appearing in Dev. Server

    Hi Experts,
    I have created a Sap-script in which I have given Signature using SE78, creating the file in .BMP format and then using Inclulde command in SAP_SCRIPT editor.
    Later we have send that Script to the Quality Server where that Signature is not appearing. Could please anyone tell me the coz and soluation of it.

    Thanks Amit for neat and clean reply for this issue. Yes the problem was that this logo was not available in the  Quality system and later I used SE78 and given the same name which was present in the Layout Include command.
    Do I need to repeat the same step for Live Server also ?

  • How to Upload Smartforms from Application Server

    Hi Guys,
            I have to upload the SMARTFORMS in to the System.That can be done as follows:
    1- Tcode  - Smartforms
    2- Utilities -> Upload form
    3- Give form Name
    4- Give path of Form on presentation server and upload.
    But I have to give the path of Form from the Application Server. As i have all the forms to be uploaed in New system on the Application Server.
    I will be writing the program to program to read XML file(smartform) from application server to internal table and then upload it in the System.
    Please let me know if it is possible to upload Smartforms from Application Server?

    But Actually I want to Automate this process of Uploading the Smartforms.
    So I want to directly upload it from Application server.
    As it is not possible to upload the Smartforms from Presentation Server Automatically.
    In this human Intervention will be required.

  • Error while downlaoding smartform into Application server in PDF format

    Hi friends,
    I am downlaoding Smartform to Application server in PDF format.  getting below dump while executing  
    OPEN DATASET p_filename FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
    TRANSFER i_tline TO p_filename
    CLOSE DATASET p_filename.
    if i add  " IGNORING CONVERSION ERRORS " after ENCODING DEAFULT then i am not getting dump and pdf file is creating but i am not able to see LOGO in SAP Application server ( downlaoded back from application server to my pc and checked it).
    DUMP:
    here i am getting dump saying that : You cannot convert the character set
    Runtime Error          CONVT_CODEPAGE
    Exception              CX_SY_CONVERSION_CODEPAGE
    What happened?
    While a text was being converted from code page '4102' to '4110', one of
    the following occurred:
    - an character was discovered that could not be represented in one of
    the two code pages;
    - the system established that this conversion is not supported.
    2 characters could not be represented (and thus could not converted).
    If 2 = 0, a second or a different error has occurred.

    I think some basis related configuartions to be done
    Try like this and inform me
    A cyclic job runs, which processes the messages seen in the SOST queue.
    Are you sure it's not the frequency of the cyclic job, rather than the
    number of messages in the queue, that you are observing? In messages
    that are queued and before the cyclic job runs, "wait for comm. service"
    is the normal status.
    If you mean that there are always 4 items queued in SOST regardless of
    the cyclic send job, then I have no ideas. I would have thought there
    was no way to do that.
    when the send job runs it just never
    picks them up & sends them, while it picks up many others. The send job
    is somehow blind to these; no error message occurs. In this case, I
    'delete' them from the queue (in SOST) and then 'undelete' (drop down
    menu -> /Go to /Deleted Items) them and then re-queue them. THEN they
    actually get picked up & sent when the next cyclic send job executes.

    The errors affect the following components:

    What exactly this error iam not able to trace . Before releasing the object from the
    development server i have see any error's are there the extended check hasnt given me any errors either.
    The help for this error says that
    "Procedure
    Deactivate the implementations active for this BAdI definition one by one until not more collisions occur.
    You should use transaction SE18 (Utilities -> Adjustment -> Multiple-use interfaces) to solve thes conflicts systematically."
    i have did what sap has said ............. i can see that in the quality server a custom badi
    of FI module has been in error. Will this be a reason for my badi ...which doesnt have any error..
    any one have idea on this error pleae let me know.

    I want to upload data in custom table in quality server.
    I forgot to tranfer TMG into QA. I also don't send any upload program to QA.
    Is there any way to upload data directly to table in quality server i.e. by use of debugging.

    Hi Narendra,
    As suggested by Jorge you can create data through T-code SM30 (for this you need to have table maintainence generator in development) and get it tranported to Quality and production and maintain the data through it or else to can create a request for data creation through SM30 in development and get it transported to quality and production.

  • Issue when trying to deploy Monitoring Server Reports on Deployment Wizard

    Hi all.
    I have to install the Monitoring Server Role on a server that already has the Lync Server 2010 up and running.
    I'm new to Lync Server so my experience with the product is limited, so I need some help with an issue.
    I followed the Deployment Guide and for now I managed to do the following:
    - Installed an SQL Server 2008 Standard with SP1 with SSRS also;
    - Updated the Topology to include a Monitoring Server, and also published the new topology;
    - Installed the new components of the monitoring server.
    I can also refer that the SQL Server Instances and Lync Server Front-End are in the same server h where I'm installing the monitoring server, and there is only one Front End Pool.
    As far as I can tell everything was successfully done, and I couldn't find any errors until now.
    And finally the issue appeared when I wanted to deploy the Monitoring Server Reports to the Reporting Services Server.
    In the deployment Wizard of the Lync Server 2010 the link for that option is disabled, no further information is given.
    I tried to find on the ISO and .exe or .msi files that could deploy the reports, but could not find any.
    I believe it isn't a problem of permissions of the user because i followed the documentation.
    I hope someone can help me find the problem, and if possible a solution for it.

    From your description above, it is a Lync Server 2010 Enterprise Edition and you deploy Monitoring Server in the same Server with FE Server.
    If it is the case, you may meet unknown issues as you must deploy Monitoring Server on a separate Server. You can only collocate Monitoring Server with Archiving Server.
    Please try to delete the Monitoring Server configuration in Lync Topology and then republish topology, and rerun Step 2. After these, please deploy Monitoring Server with a Separate Server and test if the issue happen again.
