Issue in running regular payroll

hi ,
When running regular payroll for the month of January ...payroll is running for january offcycle payroll allong with regular payroll..please let know how to stop it.January offcycle is already runned in exit mode of last month and posted but still when reimburesement are picked when running regualr payroll.

Retro of Bonus payment in regular payroll

Bonus payment for off cycle is coming in regular payroll of some employees.There are two types of payments taking place in one period/month(means 2 RTs in one month).
the bonus payment is processed in the start of the month i.e. 01-12-2006 and regular salary payment is on 26-12-2006 but while running regular payroll retro is triggered for bonus payment as well.
we also implemented a check by commenting rule "xpro"

we want that retro shuld not come for that bonus payment in regular payroll.

Example: Let say Male EE and month is April'
Case 1: Total taxable income is: 4,20,000
              Bonus = 10,000
             Tax for 12 months              =   24,000 (10% on 2,40,000)
             Tax for the current month =   2,000
             Now Tax should calculate on bonus as per 10% . i.e tax = 1,000 (10% on 10,000)
             Total tax = 3,000
Case 2: Total taxable income is: 5,20,000
              Bonus = 10,000
             Tax for 12 months              =   32,000 (10% upto 3,20,000)
             Tax for 12 months              =   4,000   (20% on 20,000)
             Tax for 12 months               = 36,000
             Tax for the current month =   3,000
             Now Tax should calculate on bonus as per 20% . i.e tax = 2,000 (20% on 10,000)
             Total tax = 5,000
Is there any way to achieve this method of tax calculation ? If yes please share your views.

Issue when running acutal Off-cycle payroll in India!

Dear experts!
I have an urgent issue when running ACTUAL off-cycle payroll in India as below: "Payroll already performed once in future".
In testing mode, everything is fine. I have tried to check payroll result in pc_payresult and pu01, and Infotype 3. All of them show the last payroll in 31.07.2011. But now I run off-cycle payroll on 20.08.2011, this error is displayed. So I cannot run actual payroll for them.
Please help me! I am really appreciated.

Hello
Normally this error message reflects an inconsistency in the payroll
directory cluster, that you can view via RPUDIR00. What you can do to
restore the consistency is to run the report RPUDIR00 for this pernr
with the following parameters on the selection screen:
Payroll for country
Personnel number
Compare directory
Payroll results structure
detailed log
Save new directory             X          < this will write the new directory. If you want to test first, do not select this parameter.
Afterwards it should be possible to run payroll for this employee.

Issue on Changing the Payroll Area in Mid of the Month from Biweekly to Mon

Dear Experts,
I have an issue on payroll area which is changing from biweekly to monthly in Mid of the Month.
One employee was retired on 29th of March, so his payroll area was changed from biweekly to monthly on 29th. For retire we are running the payroll on 8th of every month. When we are running payroll for April he has received only 29th and 30th retire salary, by the time he is not yet retired also.
In this case the main problem is monthly payroll time is early then biweekly. so the employee is getting retire salary then his regular pay.
Can you guide me where we can control that monthly payroll area should not be triggered at this movement.

Hi Dilek,
If splits will be there definitely there will be two wagetypes but the amounts they'll have will be based on the rates of those periods.
Suppose an employee got payscale increase on 11th of the month, then employee will be paid at the rate of first payscale for first ten days then @ of second payscale on second 20 days.
So there won't be any inconsistency.

How to fetch / Call one WT from last Payroll result.
Eg:
We are using one WT " 9XXX" (total of 10 Wts) in regular Payroll.
In offcycle WT "9YYY" calculating based on this WT "9XXX"
So we can process of-cycle only after processing regular Payroll , how we can call WT "9XXX" from last payroll and make ofcyle process (WT 9YYY) available at any time.

Either you can use Function PORT and bring the amount of the wage type as AMT=L or else store the value of the wt in regular payroll run in a variable and use the same in off cycle

wants a report to track changes to infotypes prior to running the payroll interface. The attached report looks like it should work but it returns nothing. Is there config that turns on "Track Changes": for select infotypes? If so, can they be activated for key infotypes so this report will run?

Using these three options you define which infotypes you wish to log, then which fields, then you define which groups of fields are to be saved. Click each link, or see the sections below:
Infotypes to be logged
Here you define which PA infotype numbers you require logging. Select New Entries and enter a transaction class (A for Pers Admin, B for recruitment), then enter the infotype number and save.
Field Group Definition
When changes are made to a logged infotype, the field contents before and after are recorded. This is the very reason for logging the infotype, but there is an overhead in performance and disk space used so it needs to be given consideration. Typically you will want to record fields that are pay relevant.
Using the field group definition, you specify which fields you wish to record changes in. When any of the fields in the group are changed, all the fields in the group are saved. You can use an asterisk to log all the fields of the infotype but this is not recommended for space and performance, also there are many fields on an infotype that you will not be using, that will be saved also. Ideally you will pick individual fields of the infotype and enter them like so:
The field group number is a freely defined number you allocate to the group, it will be used in the next step. For normal use, simply pick any number not already used in that infotype. All fields with the same field group number are recorded in the log, even if they have not changed.
Click New Entries and enter the infotype number, field group number and field names that you wish to record.
Field Group Characteristics
When you have set up the field group numbers, use the field group characteristics to activate the logging of those fields. You can also specify a supplementary field group; this means that the contents of another field group can also be saved at the same time, even though the contents have not changed. In practise it is not used much. Simply select new entries, enter the transaction class, infotype, and in the DocFieldGr enter the number you assigned to the field names that you want to store, then enter L for Long Term Documents (short are not supported)
The Audit Report
To access the report showing the logged infotype changes, use the HR report tree available from various menu paths, including:
Main Menu Human Resources Pers Management Administration Info System Reports - Documents Infotype change logged changes in infotype data. (RPUAUD00).
When you run the report, select the infotypes you require, and select and execute.

I can't seem to get my iMac (late 2009 model) into automatic sleep mode. If I manually put it into sleep I don't have any issues. I used to solve the issue by running "PleaseSleep" application but that doesn't work anymore since Lion.

I used to solve the issue by running "PleaseSleep" application but that doesn't work anymore since Lion. I now want to fix the underlying problem.
I'm not running any weird background processes and in my energy saver settings I've tagged "put the hard disk to sleep when possible:, "allow power button to put computer to sleep" and "automatically reduce brigthness". All pretty standard.
Is there anyone who can give me some pointers ?

Today I solved the same problem for my iMac running Snow Leopard. See https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3008791#15947706. The method may help you, too.
For me it was the DynDNS Updater preventing my iMac from automatically entering sleep mode.
To my knowledge the cause of this sleep problem can only be a peripheral device or a process. So I suggest to first unplug all peripherals and test whether that's the cause. If not, I suggest to terminate one process after another and to test automatic entering of sleep mode after each. Start with user processes; continue with system process if necessary.
At least that's the way I found the offending process. Fortunately, I was able to change the configuration of that process to allow again automatic entering of sleep mode.

I am facing an issue while running an application on my laptop.I downloaded Jdeveloper 10.1.3.2.Installed Jheadstart along with that.
Created a new application specified in HR demo.When I run the application I get following messages,After that it does not show my application pages.It does not even open browser window.

From the description of your problem above, your cumulation calender has not been generated for that month.
Please take necessary action to ensure that calendar type is assigned to pay period in payroll area, by maintaining the payroll period which is represented by Date modifier and period modifier in view maintainance for table T54C1.
Entries for this table are generated with the program RPUCTP10. (You should not have to create manual entries in this table.)

offcycle payment amount is getting adjusted with the regular payroll if the salary is negative.
We want to stop this...please help

Simply in the regular payroll you have to modify the rule X011 to cater the specific requirement.
You have to bring 0267 in between If statement
If SPRN
P0267
Else
P0014
p0015
ETC
End if.
I have faced same problem if you need will send you screen shot. Please let me know if required.

Different environments mean just that. So something could be causing it outside java.
Additionally if anything at all is different in the execution data, such as even a name having a different size, then it would change the execution path.

How to run the payroll in Quality server..Unable to exit the payroll record

In my Quality server the current payroll period is 6 ---2006.
For testing purposes i want to run the payroll for next periods.
Here i am unable to exit the payroll.It is showing message that payroll has not been run successfully for all personnel numbers.I have struck up here.
How can run the payroll for the next period.
Please advice me to run the payroll for later periods...

That is ur master data and time data is not correct, the rejected personnel no. should with the correction flag.these personnel no are stored in too called matchcode W, so u have to change the master data and time data fot that perticular personnel no. and agian release for payroll.
if any changes required in customizing tables rather than ur infotypes then let me know.
