Issue Installing Illustrator CS6

I purchased CS6 Design Standard Student & Teacher Edition for Mac through Amazon (Digital Download) and everything seemed to install properly except for Illustrator. I've tried to read through some support but I'm pretty lost. Here is what the summary says in regards to why Illustrator failed:

The illustrator icon appears in my applications folder, but when I try to launch it I get an error message stating: "The localized resource files for this application could not be loaded. Please reinstall or repair the application and try again."
I've tried to uninstall and install again, but that hasn't worked for me.

Issue with Illustrator CS6 - can't get it to run

Since a couple of weeks ago, I have an issue with Illustrator CS6 - can't get it to run When starting the application I get the following error:

I'm running it on Windows 8 (x64). I have multiple other Adobe applications installed, which are running fine. I've tried solving the issue with reinstalling Illustrator - multiple times. My GPU driver is updated to the latest version.

I have this issue as well on my Mac and called tech support 4 times and they can't fix it. Adobe has really gone down hill in a short amount of time!!
Only thing that worked (as a temporary fix) is to create a new user and toggle back and forth between two users which is very annoying. Adobe has tried uninstalling, reinstalling, taking over my computer remotely, trashing plugins, verifying permissions but the fact remains that we bought CS6 four weeks ago and Illustrator doesn't work.
I'm going on Facebook to let others know.....don't buy Adobe, it doesn't work and they don't know how to fix.

Problems installing Illustrator CS6 on OSX 10.8

Every time I try to install Illustrator CS6 on my Early 2009 17" MacBook Pro, the installation gets to around 85% or so and then jumps straight to 99% and then fails. I've noticed that the disk image is diappearing form my desktop and then failing. Photoshop, InDesign, etc. are all installing without problems. This is the error message I'm getting:

Install Illustrator CS6 without CD drive

Is there a way to download and install Illustrator CS6 on a computer without a disk drive? I have a purchased copy of the disk with serial number and cannot use it. Please help!

What exactly do you want to do with both the apps?
Since the exchange of files from AI to PS is based on PDF, I wouldn't expect problems. The only question is, if Photoshop CS2 will be able to read PDF 1.5, since that's the format AI CS6 embeds in its files. If it doesn't work, you could still save a PDF from AI and make it any other PDF version.
Illustrator can read lower version PSD.
Copy-Paste might be a problem. I can't experiment, since I don't have that PS version any more.

I got my series number from my Institut (which is in Paris, FR). I do not use Creative Cloud.
When I was installing the software, I cannot select a language.

I cant install Illustrator CS6. I have the cloud. All other programs installs without any problem.
I have tried the downloadmaneger, the trial but same result. It wont work.

Issues in installing Illustrator CS6 for CC

I have installed the application manager and installed Illustrator - it downloads as 16.0.0. then I do the update as directed - once the update is finished get info tells me it is still 16.0.0 - I started this with 16.0.4 so what gives here. When I check for updates in the Help menu on the application it says I am upto date - am I up todate, what is the latest update version for CC. My installer logs tell me it was successfully updated.

Interestingly although the get info shows 16.0.0 when you look at about Illustrator from the Illustrator menu it shows 16.2.1 which I am led to believe is correct so I guess I am up to date after all - can any explain this ?

Issues with Illustrator CS6 and Intuos5

I'm fairly new to Adobe CS and I've been running into a few issues. I've used it fairly consistently at work, but I want to branch out and do some graphic design on my own, so I bought a student license and set about teaching myself! Anyway, I got a Wacom Intuos5 medium tablet to go with this and I think it's causing a few issues. First, it seems like it's causing Illustrator CS6 to crash on launch. If I open an Illustrator document (I'm running Win7 64bit with 16gb of RAM), I get a message that Illustrator CS6 has stopped working. I close that pop-up and try to open the same document again and it opens just fine. I read in a release note that this is due to a plugin associated with Inkling, but I don't have that installed, so I'm not sure that this is what I'm experiencing. I've uninstalled the tablet and went about launching Illustrator again and it seems to working just fine. Is there a fix for this?
Second, I was just getting familiar with the brush tool the other day and noticed that when I used the tablet, the brush tool just quits drawing after about 7 seconds. So I made the same scribbles (just making figure eights over and over again) with my mouse and it seems to cut out after about 15 seconds this time. Is there something I might be doing wrong or this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?
Also, I'm running two SSDs and a 1TB HDD. I have WIN7 and other small things on one SSD and CS6 currently installed on the other SSD. Could this be an issue? I'm at work right now, but I plan on uninstalling both the table and CS6 and only installing CS6 onto my WIN7 SSD to see if this clears anything up.

I reinstalled CS6 onto my main drive and I still got the crashing on launch. It's clearly the tablet that's creating the issue. Is there anything else you suggest?

Sanandus18 you have a file permission failure and are currently unable to delete the Illustrator application within the /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS6/ folder. Help installing Illustrator CS6

I'm trying to download Illustrator CS6 to try out. IN the setup process it asks me to login with my ADOBE email and password. I enter in the correct information and the wait bar just spins. I left it running all night and nothing. I have done with at 3 different locations thinking it was a connection issue but each place I can navigate the web with no issue. Can someone help me because I would like to try this program out before I purchase it.
NOTE: I am running a windows 7 machine with service pack 1. I have also tried running it as the administrator with no success.

Don't think so. I'm not up to speed on the latest deployment stuff, but it is my understanding that since Adobe ID is mandatory, there is no way to serialize the software without that info during install. anyway, perhaps check the dev center and deployment forums...
