Issue Installing RoboHelp 9 on Win 7 32 bit

I'm trying to install RoboHelp 9 on my office laptop running on Windows 7 32 bit (4gb RAM) and with Office 2007 at present.
I am encountering the following error over and over again:

I currently have Robohelp 8 installed on the same system and I have not uninstalled it yet. Tried running this setup in parallel so as to make sure I had a back-up app to continue working in case this didn't work out. The installation PDF for RH9 doesn't state anywhere that an older instance of the application needs to be uninstalled, nor does the setup prompt in any way that another version exists on the system.
I tried some of the troubleshooting tips suggested on the Support site such as trying to uninstall Flash, repair the MSI file using msiexec /unreg and msiexec /regserver , selecting a different path for the setup... none of these solutions seem to work.
Also tried using a local administrative user login but that also resulted in the same error log.
Any solution to this would be high appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion Preran...
It appears that there was an issue with the initial installer copied from the remote server. When I executed the setup directly from the US server, it worked fine.. took ages.. but worked ok.
I have RH8 and RH9 both installed right now and both seem to be working fine. Don't think an uninstall of the previous version is required. When you open a RH8 xpj file with version 9, it'll ask you to take a backup of the project and upgrade the xpj. Works fine from thereon.
Issue resolved for now

Apple says MacBook Air 2013 mid 2013... Comes with bootcamp 5.
And bootcamp 5 support only 64 bit windows....apple says.
I want to install win xp or win7.32 bit with bootcamp4.
Can we downgrade the bootcamp by uninstalling or something...?
Or how can I install 32 bit windows on new MacBook Air 2013.

Bootcamp 4 which ships with Lion doesn't support XP or Vista, only 7. Try using Parallels or VMWare instead.

Issues installing Adobe Master Collection /Win thru Parallels 3.0 On Macpro

Yeah Im at a loss too for what is going On here I Do Audio video Editing On the PC side till Now Just got a Not even 6 mo old Mac book pro Dual core 2.5 Ghz 17 in 160 Gb HD 2 GB Ramm did fresh reinstalled of tiger Patched to 10.4.11 then asked the tech at apple store best way to go for Installing my Adobe CS3.3 Master Suite for windows on Here As I said I did not want to go with Lepord as well as I do not use vista yet on PC side with my audio video Apps Abelton live 7.0 Reason 4 Pro tools 7.4 M powered Avid media Composer 3.0 and everything Adobe Makes now he says 2 ways to go VM fusion Or Parallels He likes the Parallels I go that route I install it realize to make Adobe suite work I have too do a custom Virtual machine with 1.5 GB ramm instead of default 512 MB and I create virtual HD at 60 GB instead of default 32 GB which The first time i Installed the master Collection at the 32 GB setting I think it ran out of disk space on the install so i increased the VM to the current settings went to Adobe to Parallels site and Got updates and windows and apple removal tools and ran them here goes reinstall # 3 it takes about 1 1/2 Hrs then at end give ya the error 19-20 errors and when you go look into the folders in Program files adobe there are no Icon launch files and in your programs tab under adobe suite all you see is 2 icons that do not launch anything ? any help is greatly appreciated new to Macs Like them but a lil discouraged !

Ok as I said earlier The install seems to go like a full install time wise file transfer wise seems like at 89 % a few seconds into disk 4 of the master collection install at this point CS 3.0 they tell ya to uncheck the tick for acrobat 8.0 as when you are done with the install open any one of the products you just installed Register it then put in disk 5 it has Acrobat 9.0 Pro and updates to all to bring them to CS 3.3 ok so at 1 1/2 Hrs a few seconds into disk 4 I would say almost like it cant extract all the just installed 20 GB worth of installed ready to be expanded files and finalized it gives a some what done Normal looking screen but says finished with errors and below in the list of errors Below Box it lists every single program then under neith in red it says Install completed with errors and then there are only 2 icons in the Program files in a folder called cs 3 master collection they are the stock photo library and i did the full scrub both the mac side and pc side and updated the parallels my virtual machine is 60 GB partition and my avail ramm is 1.5 GB of the macs 2gb i will wait to start another attempt if you have any Ideas the mac is clean fresh install nothing else loaded patched to 10.4.11?

Getting error message when trying to install Reader 9 on Win 7 64 bit w/IE 9

I hope I can be concise and not have this all sound too convoluted but I am so confused by this time that I may not be able to hide it. I have recently bought an HP Omni 220 PC, 64 bit, with Win 7, Intel Core i7, and IE9. Reader didn't come installed and I have been battling for weeks now trying to get it set up.
I couldn't get Reader 10 to install so I installed Reader 9 thinking to update to 10. While I can open and read PDF files beautifully on my desktop, Reader 9 allowed me to open .PDF files online only about 2 times and then stopped. When I tried to open a PDF link my IE 9 would crash and recover and tell me some problem had caused IE to have to close and recover. I tried 'repairing' the installation through the "Repair" option on the drop down menu which you get when you right click on the .msi installer. When the repair is running I get an error which reads:
"Warning 1909.Could not create shortcut Adobe Reader 9.lnk. Verify that the destination folder exists and that you can access it."
I have no idea what destination folder this refers to or how to fix it.
I uninstalled Reader 9, attempted again to install Reader 10. I think I've figured out that the 10 installer (which disappears and nothing happens when I try to run it) is actually a program different from the actual installation program but I fear I'd just run into this same destination folder boo-boo with the 10 installation as I have the 9 installation. At least the 9 will run without disappearing.
In short, finally, how can I fix this Warning 1909 to get Reader 9 installed so that I can actually read PDF files in IE9 and hope to update to 10?

Ok, I have now gotten Reader 10 installed, can open files from my desktop but IE 9 keeps crashing when I try to open PDF files even though I exited and relaunched IE 9. I did take ownership of all the folders containing Reader 10 and then clicked OK when I got the error notice about the shortcut being installed. I did make a copy of the crash error report and it reads as follows:

Error when installing app updates on Win 7 64 Bit machine

I was trying to update to Photoshop CC 14.2 and I am getting an error.
This is what I found in the log file. help please?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app before I dug into the Error Log File. I got the error during the reinstall. The app installed, but the update did not.

Can't download and install Flash player on Win 7, 64 bit machine

Firefox and Adobe Flash Player do not play well together. It would be great if they could seamlessly update and be done with it...
I have manually uninstalled the FP with the adobe uninstall utility
I have tried downloading with the on-line flash player install but it hangs after downloading ~100kb.
I then attempted to download the manual installer for FF at: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_play er.exe
Incredibly slow download, 205kb after 20 minutes from a broadband internet connection.
How do I resolve this? Who do I complain to, Adobe, Firefox or both? Updates should not be a problem with new equipment...

The downloaded file (plugin installer) should be 2.65MB = 2,724KB = 2,788,816 bytes.
Can you download the installer from another computer / network connection, then transfer it to your computer with a memory stick or other media?

Issues installing Acrobat XI with Windows 7 64 bit

Trying to install acrobat reader on a new computer build with Windows 7 64 bit.
The installer file downloads OK and executes OK, but as it start to install I get a blank, small, dark grey window "Adobe Reader Installer" Completely blank except for the border and title, no buttons, no words.
I've tried saving and running the installer with the same results. Tried running Microsoft fixit with the same results.
What next?

The same question is posted multiple times every day, and the answer is always the same: use the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
B.t.w. the name of the software is Adobe Reader, not Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

After following instructions for three different solutions that did NOT work; I found the solution that did work
on the support site for Syamntec.
Readers - Please, you must be VERY familiar with pc jargon and windows vernacular to accomplish the reset
of ALL the permissions in your registry.
Follow the ditrections below and pay attention to the notes for those running 64bit Win7.
Step one, back up the registry.
Step two, go to the MS KB: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e8ba3e56-d8fe-4a91-93cf -ed6985e3927b&displaylang=en and download the file that installs subinacl. It is an MSI file, and will do a quick install of a few Microsoft files. Hint: Look in the folder listed below, "subinacle.exe" may already be there.
Step three, create a batch file (subinacle.bat) with the following commands: (Use Notepad - copy & paste, not the red stuff)
cd /d "Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools" (only for 32bit/x86 machines)
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f

For 64bit machines substitute for first line of bat file:
cd /d "c:\program files (x86)\windows resource kits\tools"
Step four, run the batch file. Let it run until the Command Prompt screen closes, may take 30 minutes or more.
Step five, reboot the machine and run the install again.
Ladies and Gentlemen; this worked for me and allowed immediate installation of two application packages I had been trying for three months! (Including ITunes 10.5)

Installing FMW 11.1.1.3 on Win 7 64 bit

after successfully installing forms and reports (Win 7 64 bit) I tried to configure these managed servers by starting config.bat (as Administratpr). Now the process hangs at step 11 (Creating Domain in Progress).
Any ideas?

First, there is no need to relocate the system jdk. Part of your problem is more likely the result of a known limitation which is caused by the System PATH and/or CLASSPATH containing special characters like the parenthesis in (x86). So, do the following:
Before you start, be sure that your machine has a static IP address. If it does not, you will need to install the Windows loopback adapter. Read the Installation Guide and System Requirements for more details.
1. Clean up from your failed installation attempts. Be sure to also remove the C:\bea folder assuming no other product is using WLS.
2. Uninstall the 64bit jdk then reinstall it where you prefer it. I would recommend its default location.
3. Open a Notepad session and leave it open as a holding place to paste the following information.
4. Open the System properties. Computer > right mouse click > Properties > Advanced System Properties > Environment Variables
5. Locate PATH in the system variables and cut all of the values to the clipboard and paste them in the Notepad session you just opened above. Save this information for later.
6. In the PATH value, set it to the following, be sure that the path to the jdk is correct for your installation:

7. You will need the "generic" WLS download if you plan to run 64bit. This will be a jar file rather than an exe. Assuming you are using WLS 10.3.6, open a DOS window and start the installer as follows:

After you have completed the WLS installation and the FMw installation and configuration, you can reset your PATH back to the way you desire.

Error/Issues Installing 11g R2 on Win7 64-bit Ultimate Ed

I know this question may have been posted before...but I'm also having issues installing 11g R2 on Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate edition with 4GB RAM.
It's consistently givine failed check during Prerequisite Checks:
- Physical Memory failed
- Available Physical Memory failed
- Swap Size failed
etc.
One of failed message says:
Physical Memory - This is a prerequisite condition to test whether the system has at least 922MB (944128.0KB) of total physical memory.
Expected Value      : n/a
Actual Value      : n/a
List of errors:
-      PRVF-7531 : Physical memory check cannot be performed on node "M-PC"
- Cause: Could not perform check of physical memory on the node indicated.
- Action: Ensure ability to access the node specified and view memory information.
Added loopback and updated hosts file in system32... Ran setup as Administrator. Put zip files into one central directory C:\tempload\oracle11gR2\...
Am I missing something? Access issue somewhere? I had to run notepad as administrator to update hosts file...

Does 11.1.1.6 OBIEE simple install work properly on Windows 7 64 bit OS?

Can anyone confirm if the simple install for 11.1.1.6 simple install works normally on Windows 7 64 bit OS? I have run into a slew of issues including:
1. hanging on the Create Domain. Stays at 0% for 2 hours and then fails
2. Pre requisite checks do not work in a stable way (sometimes they fail and need to be ignored and other times they succeed)
I removed all Oracle software and tried a completely clean install (DB, RCU, OBIEE, etc)..I have my loopback adapter set and also have JDK.
Do we need to manually do the WLS + Software only to get this to work or does the Simple install actually work on Win 7 64 bit??

HP C4380 software fails to install on Win 7 64 bit

My HP C4380 printer scanner stopped working, so I added another printer with working scanner to my wireless network, but then I could not get my HP C4380 to run even though it was default, so I uninstalled the other printer because I prefer my HP. After uninstalling the other printer, I could not run my HP at all. I received the message it wasn't connected. I tried to hardwire it. No luck. Then, I followed scan and print doctor which told me to uninstall and reinstall software. I uninstalled and then used my HP cd to reinstall and got message it did not meet system requirements (Win 7 64 bit). I went online and tried to reinstall the C4380 software. The software appears to be installed but my printer shows up as an "unspecified" rectangular box under devices instead of a printer under "printers." So now I have no printer. How do I correct this problem?? Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that, your HP Photosmart c4380 software is failing to install on Windows 7. I am
happy to help you with this issue! I have a couple of questions for you:
Can you make copies with the printer?
Is the power cable plugged directly into the wall, or a surge protector? Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
In the meantime, I would try uninstalling the software, and then re-installing again, using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.
