Issue Installing WhatsApp

Hi
I have just installed WhatsApp and tried to verify my phone. I am greeted with the following;
"Failed to verify device - This is most likely caused by you upgrading or changing your phone"
I have been on iPhone 4 for nearly 12 months. 3 weeks ago I was issued with a replacement phone from apple as I had damaged the phone screen.
Can anyone suggest a path to take?

We have recently released version 2.6.6 of WhatsApp on iTunes. Please download this version. It has new features, as well as a new and improved registration process.
1. Delete the WhatsApp application from your iPhone by tapping and holding the WhatsApp icon until it vibrates. Then, select the WhatsApp icon again to delete. (NOTE your messages will also be deleted when you delete WhatsApp. So, if you have access into WhatsApp and want to save some messages, please use the "Email Chat History" feature).
2. Reboot your iPhone: turn your iPhone OFF, wait 30 seconds, turn it back ON
3. Download a fresh copy of version 2.6.6 by opening the http://itunes.com/app/whatsapp link from your iPhone (NOTE: you will NOT get charged again if you use the same iTunes account as iTunes is pretty smart - we promise:)
If you don't get your code, please wait for the 5 minute registration process to end. Then you can use the fallback option "Call Me with Code".

Apple didn't do anything. Whatsapp has not made a version that will work on the iPad (or any other tablet according to the link I gave you). Whatsapp has chosen not to make the app available in the App Store in UAE (there could be legal issues involved). And, the app is currently not free in the U.S. for iOS because Whatsapp has chosen to charge for it.

I understand that you are trying to reinstall an app from the App Store, but you are unable to accept the new Terms and Conditions for using the App Store. I have a few suggestions for you that may help you resolve this issue. First, I would like to recommend that you restart your iPhone and then see if the issue persists:

If the issue is still present, try clearing the Safari History and Website Data, which is explained in the following article:

Can't install whatsapp despite making many changes

Hi!
I have an iphone 3g IOS 4.2 and after changing the system name to 5.1 and creating an Apple ID on iTune, I am very close to finally managing to install whatsapp. However the last remaining problem is the Pop-Up message "Unable to Download Application: (application name) will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes store on your computer." So I plugged my phone on my laptop, logged in iTunes,... Whatsapp still refuses to install.
For some reason, the var/mobile/application folder is empty on my iphone so I can't change the owner from root to mobile. Any alternative advice please?

Thanks for writing. I am referring to the significant waste issue and wealth disparities every cities in the world are currently facing and that the UN, US government and European Commission amongst others are all currently trying to reduce.
Whatsapp, used by millions of people around the world, makes it a basic necessity for social networking, and for people who can't afford paying text messages. It used to work on iPhone 3G until support was disrupted. This means two things, firstly that people around the world who cannot afford buying a new phone are further put at a disadvantage and miss out on opportunities to get out of poverty and secondly that for those who can afford a new phone (or use their last savings on one) end up throwing away their iPhone which is an awful waste of resources (not every parts can be recycled and recycling uses an awful lot of energy).
So much for equity and sustainability.

Issue installing System Update 5.01

Hello all I am having an issue installing System update 5.01. I looked in the logs within the temp directory and it says error 1602 which is user canceled. However, I am not canceling the install. I also tried http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall that didn't work either.
I'm on a T420 with Windows 7 64bit.
Any ideas?

I had similar issues installing 5.01. I believe there is something wrong with the package. Here is how I fixed it:
Download installer from http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=TVSU-UPDATE
Extract package with 7zip
Copy "Lenovo System Update.msi" to "System Update.msi"
Run setup.exe
For some reason the installer was looking for this file and it wasn't there, perhaps running the installer in silent/unattended mode caused it to exit with the code you mentioned.

I have tried to uninstall all Abode Acrobat installations but one file remains and refuses to be uninstalled. It gives me this error : Error applying Transforms . Verify that specified paths are valid. It was installed on Sept 18 2014. I have downloaded a Transform update but it tells I do not have a Adobe Acrobat product installed.

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Issue installing/upgrading to ITunes 10.6.1.7

Im having an Issue installing/upgrading to iTunes 10.6.1.7 When upgrading it would not istall and tell me to go to Tools>Download manual. I also had an issue with my IPod touch not showing up in iTuens all of a sudden. So figuring the two problems were related I uninstalled iTunes (cleaned my itues folder in my C drive also) with hopes installing it fresh would work and now when I install 10.6.1.7 I get the following in a pop-up window "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not been modified. Please run the installer again, or click Finish to exit."
Anyone know what the issue is?

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

Having issues installing iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows 7 (64 bit).

Issues installing iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows 7 (64 bit).This install clobbered my previous version of iTunes. Error message is "service Apple Mobile Device failed to start". Cannot start the service manually even though I am the administrator of the machine. There is obviously some conflict that was recently introduced by a Windows update or in the Apple installation. I have tried removing iTunes and the AMDS (the Apple mobile device service) and reinstalling with the same error message.

It sounds like you are unable to start iTunes due to this error message even after uninstalling the iTunes application and the Apple Mobile device. I would recommend uninstalling not just those 2 applications but iTunes and ALL its associated applications with the following article:

I recently updated my iPhone 3GS to 4.2 which is the latest version available for this device to install whatsapp on it but then I realized that whatsapp iOS minimum requirements is iOS 4.3 and later. I would like to know your solutions guys if you have ones.

That means that you have an iPhone 3G NOT the 3Gs.
Impossible to install Whatsapp in there.

Issue installing Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7

Hi guys,
I having issues installing Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7. I gt this error "Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update Other processes are running which conflict with update installation. Please close them and try again. Error Code: U45M1P19". I restart the Computer (Windows 7) and closed all Adobe programs but the problem persist. Any ideas...

I have exactly the same issue and error number. The only difference is that I am running a Mac with OS X10.8.2
I also tried installing Camera Raw 7.1 and that did not work either.
I downloaded the Adobe Support manager and it reported everything as OK.
I have tried rebooting, turning off all apps. Nothing seems to fix this.
Any clues on what might be the problem and how to fix.
The reason I need the update is that I am using LR4 and want to edit in Photoshop CS 5.5 and it tells me I need to update my Camera raw.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, but I still have the same issue. Adobe automatically gives me the Norwegian version as I live in Norway. When I open existing pdf files they appear empty, and automatically close themselves after a few seconds.
Any idea how I can solve this problem?
