  • Issues with using relative links in Captivate 8

    Is anyone else having issues with using relative links in Captivate 8?  These links all used to work in the previous version of Captivate. And I could have sworn this was fixed already once in Captivate 8 but it's popping up again for us. Here is the situation... We have courses that are made up of multiple lessons which as separate Captivate files. Within those lessons are buttons to link to external documents (which live in a shared document folder), demonstrations, etc.  We use relative links because we post these to our amazon servers and we also sell them to clients where they can post them on their own web servers or in their LMS.  SO we can't put in full paths for the links or we'd have to change them constantly.  So an example is that the link for a button might be "../Document/nameofdoc.pdf"  This would be going to a user guide or something that is posted in the "Document" folder that lives at the same level as the lesson's folder. But now, all of the sudden, none of our bazillion links is working. And I've tried buttons, hyperlinks, and even the old click box. Nothing works with relative links. And I did check the permissions on every file and folder on our Amazon server to verify nothing changed there as well.   Any suggestions?

    I have the same issue with relative links using Captivate 8.  I am trying to load Captivate modules into an LMS using relative links to document files within the LMS.  The links work fine during a site page test so not an issue in the LMS, but from the Captivate module they aren't working....
    Help?

  • Hi I want all the issues that are related to FI , HR & BPS

    Hi friends,
    I want all the issues related to FI, HR & BPS(SEM)
    I will assign good points
    Thanks in advance,
    Ravi Alakuntla.

    Hi,
    Sine the records are posted to FI/CO, the records in CATSDB will be with the status '30' appropved. Now if you want to change the hours recorded, change the same, so that the status changes as 'Change after approval' and release the same and transfer it to FI/CO again.
    The records in the FI/CO interface tables will be overwritten.
    Thanks & Regards, Swapnil Mishra

  • Link to Document Content Type issue - links not relative

    I'm using the Link to Document content type in a library in order to link to documents in other libraries.  We just migrated to 2010 from WSS 3.0 (2007) and are having an issue.  We view our site internally thorough the internal machine address/name
    and also have users connecting remotely from an external url.  In 2007, it didn't matter whether we were internal or external, all links were apparently stored as relative because the "link to document" items worked fine either way.  This
    was despite entering the url fully and not relative.  When viewing/editing the properties of that item, it shows you the full url applicable to where you are viewing it...internal if internal, external if external.
    However, after the migration to 2010, all links that existed previously are fine, but any new items created using link to document apparently no longer store them as relative so either the internal or external users get the wrong link.  For example,
    if I put in the link as http://servername/library/doc the external users get that same link and it doesn't work, since it should be like https://myurl/library/doc.  Viewing/editing the properties of the item shows an absolute url of whatever location
    the item was added.  For instance if I'm connected externally and add an item, even if i only enter it as relative, it creates the link as https://myurl/library/doc and then the internal users end up having to connect via that url and that is just a pain
    due to AD and certificate issues.  The internally created links are obviously not accessible at all from the outside.
    I've also tried storing the link as relative when creating the item but it seems to overwrite it with the absolute link.
    This is causing quite an issue with us.  Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on and how to fix it?
    thanks!

    Hmm...I thought I had the thread set to email me if there were replies and I never received an email so I thought there were no replies.  I came back to this since another issue cropped up that is related and there were replies!
    I cannot recall how things were set up exactly in 2007 and there's no way to look back now.  I'm a novice when it comes to AAM/DNS/IIS really.  Maybe you can suggest what it should look like?
    We have our site which is accessed internally by http://machinename .  Externally, we use https://sharepoint.mydomain.com .
    In AAM we have http://machinename listed in the default zone with the same url for internal and public.  We also have https://sharepoint.mydomain.com listed, in the internet zone and it also has the same url for both internal and public.
    In IIS, the sharepoint site has bindings for port 80 and 443, but nothing specific to https://sharepoint.mydomain.com
    DNS....I'm not sure what should be here, if anything.
    We can access the site just fine externally, there are just a few instances where some links do not work correctly and point to the internal url instead of external when you are external.  The original post is one time and the other, found the other
    day, is a search box webpart that points to a relative url for the results page but externally it ends up going to the internal url.
    I'd appreciate any guidance.  Thanks!

  • Technical issue SAP F110 related issue. getting extra characters in outgoing file from sap.

    Hi Technical guru's,
    SAP system creating a outgoing file through F110- t-code, this outgoing file has extra characters (DOC.NO:)
    We need to remove these extra characters. Once Payment run has been carried out through F110, in SM37 in job spool it is showing like screen attached with name “file from sm37”.
    But when we look in to outgoing file directory extra characters as I mentioned above is appearing below is the related screen attached with name “out gooing file”.
    Gurus can anyone please suggest me where I can check about this. I have checked the program available in the job as well in the F110 transaction.But could not find any hint.
    Programs which I find in SM37.
    SAPF110S
    SAPFPAYM_SCHEDULE
    RFFOSE_B
    Programs which are available in F110.
    RFFOAVIS
    RFFOEDI1
    RFFOSE_B
    Does extra  characters coming through functional configuration (DME configuration) or coming through SAP standard programs.
    I am Technical person. I need to solve this issue guys please help me in this.
    If above information is not sufficient  let me know what are the other information should I provide.

    I didn't get any resolution so far also I can't convert into Adobe form because this is a production issue which should be fix by making the requied setting or changes in SAP script itself we can't go for new developmet for this isuue.

  • Fwd.Eng issue with self-relation and subtypes.

    This issue can be a bug as well. I'm not sure what to expect from FE when acting in this case:
    - a logical model
    - 1 entity
    - 1 subtype.
    - a self-relation, 1-1, optional-optional. Models the concept of "revision of"
    - FE
    - download the model here: [http://www.filesavr.com/HEZ551R6P4HUZXB|http://www.filesavr.com/HEZ551R6P4HUZXB]
    what went wrong
    - the relation has given birth to 2 FK.
    - both a self-FK,
    - both insisting on same column.
    what should happen.
    - I dunno what's right in this context. In my mind, and optional-optional 1-1 => 1 FK.
    - Arises only in presence of subtypes, even if subtypes aren't involved in relations.
    Consideration.
    If one of the ends on the relations is changed to non-optional, the issue disappear.
    The box "dominat role" can be used, due to subtyping. It makes the issue disappear. NB: the combo box list is a little weird.

  • Several issues - are they related?

    I've been experiencing several issues with my new IMac, and I wonder if they are related.
    First, the Adobe Flash plug in for Safari has been quitting unexpectedly. Then, Safari would start closing on its own. Finally, IPhoto also would suddenly quit.
    This morning, I tried a manual update of software. It stopped about 3/4 of the way through with a message that the update may have been corrupted. It will try the install again the next time Updater runs.
    I thought of putting these issues out there on their respective software forums, but I am guessing that they are all related since they all happened at the same time. Thank you, in advance, for any clues you can give to solving this mystery.

    Hi-
    Please clarify- which iMac are you using? One of the new 27" or 21" iMacs? If not, what exactly?
    First, the Adobe Flash plug in for Safari has been quitting unexpectedly. Then, Safari would start closing on its own. Finally, IPhoto also would suddenly quit.
    What exactly is happening here? Is some flash playing, and then suddenly without any error message Safari quits? What website? All or just some (or random?)
    Immediately after safari quits, iPhoto also quits? No error message- it just quits?
    This morning, I tried a manual update of software. It stopped about 3/4 of the way through with a message that the update may have been corrupted. It will try the install again the next time Updater runs.
    Please explain- exactly what do you mean by 'Manual Update of software?" Exactly what file did you download from Apple.com to do this manual update?
    I thought of putting these issues out there on their respective software forums, but I am guessing that they are all related since they all happened at the same time. Thank you, in advance, for any clues you can give to solving this mystery.
    There are a lot of variables going on here- maybe it is all related, or maybe not. We need to isolate some of these variables so we can troubleshoot in a systematic way.

  • Issue in workflow related to PO

    Hi,
    A monthly job is scheduled to create PO's in SAP by using an Unix file in the application server which has the required details. Workflow would be triggered for all the error PO's after the job run. The workitem recieved displays all the error PO's on a screen and the user is given the option to reprocess the error PO's from the screen itself once the errors are rectified. This whole requirement is done using the files in the application server.
    The main problem which i'm facing is that the file into which the error PO's are written into the file for this month run would be overwritten with the other records for the next month run. User may take months to reprocess the PO's. so my requirement is that when the user clicks the workitem of this month run then the screen should display the relevant records and when he clicks the next months workitem he sh'd be able to view the error PO's of the next month. As of now, the old workitem displays the new error PO's as the contents of the file are overwritten for the next month run. Also i don't think the creation of a new file for every month is not a better option. suppose if i do that then how would i link the workitem to the file when the execution is done with the same program.
    Please help me out as the issue is a bit urgent
    Regards,
    Sam

    In order to do that you have to explain how your solution works.
    How is the workflow started? The date should be passed in the workflow container, and you should thus add a new importing container element for it. Alternatively, if the previous is not feasible, can you assume that the workflow is started the same date (or with a fixed offset) as the file is created. If so you can set the date in the workflow instead of passing it as a parameter.
    The date will of course have to be passed on to your step, and from your step to the BOR method you execute. This however, is just a matter of binding and importing elements, and I assume you are able to solve that on your own.
    What is this report you have mentioned? SAP standard? I assumed it wasn't. If it is a customer report, you will of course need a new selection screen parameter, and when your BOR method submits the report (or alternatively calls the transaction) the date must be passed as one of the parameters.
    Hope that helps, but if it doesn't you have to be MUCH more specific in your questions. You have to explain what you are trying to do and what your starting point (current solution) is.

  • [SOLVED] Ongoing NVIDIA upgrade issues (TV card related?).

    [If you think this would be more appropriate in another section, feel free to move it?   I'm kind of an nvidia noob, so I thought this might be a good place to start...]
    I haven't been able to get a working X session following nvidia/kernel upgrades since last October or so.   Everytime I would upgrade the kernel and/or the nvidia driver, my X would fail.
    NVIDIA: could not open the device file /dev/nvidia0 (Input/output error)
    FATAL server error: no screens found
    (This is my "mythtv" box--so there's a hauppauge card installed--I have no idea if that's a factor.  I have a LCD monitor connected--as well as an 'old school' CRT television one room over connected....  My other box updated yesterday to the latest kernel/nvidia driver with no problems.)
    The problem box has a geforce 8400 video card in it.

    Progress.  Sort of...
    As I mentioned in the previous update, I unplugged the Hauppauge PVR-350 card and upgraded the kernel, lirc, lirc-utils, nvidia, and nvidia-utils.
    I found this thread ( https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=779327 ) which suggested blacklisting nouveau--as it's built-in to the kernel now (?).   When I rebooted after blacklisting nouveau, my X started up!!
    I thought I'd solved the issue--but when I plugged the PVR-350 back in and rebooted (it's necessary to use the remote control with mythtv), X failed again:

  • FIFO - Goods Issue to Purchase relation

    Hello Experts,
    My client maintains the Inventory in FIFO model.
    They wants to know the corresponding purchase (GR PO/Invoice) of the Item issued (delivery/transfer) from a wharehouse. From whare I can generate this info? If any one is having a query to generate this info please share
    Thanks and regards

  • Issue :- Payroll PCR related to DOJ

    I have written a PCR in Payroll which is Given below :-
    Now the issue is i want wage type to be calculated exactly after 20 years which is  happening  EX: - Employee DOJ 01.01.1994 so the wage type is being paid on 01.01.2014 But the problem is it is being paid in the month of Feb 2014 also kindly let me know how to write the logic Calling F* operation in the PCR.
    Zulfikarlos

    From your query, I must assume that you are referring to Monthly Payroll Periods.
    Since you are using operation NUM=F01YB, it will be calculating "Time since" based on Date Type 01 of IT0041, in "Complete Years", and as of the start of the WPBP.
    If you were to change the operation NUM=F01Y , it would be calculating as of the end of the end of the current Payroll Period, and should generate the payment in the month of Hire (except perhaps if the employee was hired on the last day of a month).  One problem with this is that the system will probably give the same return value for 12 months in a row.  After testing and confirming this, you may want to use unit C or K (months) instead of Y (years) and compare the return value to 240.
    I also noticed that you use operation ADDWT&YEXP and NUM=& YEXP within the same PCR, with no changes to the value of NUM in between.  If you don't require the temporary variable elsewhere, these 2 operations would not be required.
    Last but not least, I would suggest that you test the scenario where the employee has a WPBP split on WT 1010 in the month where he/she reaches 12 Years (or 240 months).  You'll probably notice that the AMT of WT 2140 contains double the amounts from WTs 1020 to 1100.  If that is the case, you may want to add a query on the existence of the YEXP temporary variable that would be created only for the first instance of WT 1010.

  • 10g Migration issue in forms related to graphics

    Hi..
    I am facing a 10G migration issue realted to graphics in Forms.
    A form got migrated from 6i to 10g and it has Graphics in it but it is not displaying the graphics in Runtime after
    migration.can anyone help me reagrding how to resolve this Graphics issue in 10g.
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    Graphics no longer exists in Developer Suite 10G. You have to replace the functionality , e.g. by using BI Beans. Have a look at the samples page http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/products/forms/index.html

  • Space issue in Firefox related to Flash banner

    I have a website with validated XHTML and CSS that displays an unwanted space only in Firefox under a Flash banner.  The site has been tested in IE6/7/8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, AOL, and Netscape.  Firefox is the only problem.  After posting this issue to Experts Exchange, it was determined that the code Dreamweaver generates to insert Flash causes the problem.  An expert on that site originally thought there were two instances of the object and removed what handles IE.  The site then displayed correctly in all other browsers, but would continuously try to load the Flash file in IE. Obviously, that is not the resolution.  I have tried inserting various IECCs without finding the right combination.  --  The live site is http://www.imfgsol.com.  The test page that contains code suggested by Experts Exchange is http://www.imfgsol.com/default2.html  --  I would great appreciate any help resolving this issue!!  Thanks!

    Thanks so much for your help!  Adding the param, removing the IECCs, and correcting the tag closing resolved the issue.  The http://www.imfgsol.com/default2.html page now loads in IE 6/7/8 and validates.
    For anyone that might have this issue, following was the problem and resolution:
    When inserting a Flash banner using Dreamweaver, the following code was created:
    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="963" height="113" class="imgpad" vspace="0" id="FlashID" title="Innovative Manufacturing Solutions">
          <param name="movie" value="images/IMSbanner.swf" />
          <param name="quality" value="high" />
          <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
          <param name="swfversion" value="6.0.65.0" />
          <!-- This param tag prompts users with Flash Player 6.0 r65 and higher to download the latest version of Flash Player. Delete it if you don’t want users to see the prompt. -->
          <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
          <!-- Next object tag is for non-IE browsers. So hide it from IE using IECC. -->
          <!--[if !IE]>-->
          <object data="images/IMSbanner.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="963" height="113" vspace="0">
            <!--<![endif]-->
            <param name="quality" value="high" />
            <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
            <param name="swfversion" value="6.0.65.0" />
            <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
            <!-- The browser displays the following alternative content for users with Flash Player 6.0 and older. -->
            <div>
              <h4>Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.</h4>
              <p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"><img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" width="112" height="33" /></a></p>
              </div>
            <!--[if !IE]>-->
            </object>
          <!--<![endif]-->
        </object>
    The display was fine in all browsers other than Firefox.  In Firefox, an unwanted space was created due to the way it read the IE code.  The space below the banner is illustrated here:
    By removing the separate objects and IECCs and adding the param as suggested, there is no longer a space in Firefox and the display is correct in IE 6/7/8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, AOL, and Netscape.  The code that works correctly is:
    <object data="images/IMSbanner.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="963" height="113" vspace="0">
            <param name="movie" value="images/IMSbanner.swf" />
            <param value="high" name="quality" />
            <param value="opaque" name="wmode" />
            <param value="6.0.65.0" name="swfversion" />
            <param value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" name="expressinstall" />
            <img width="112" height="33" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" />
            <!-- The browser displays the following alternative content for users with Flash Player 6.0 and older. -->
            <div>
              <h4>Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.</h4>

  • Windows 8 Laptop Boot Issue (and other related problems)

    My Toshiba Satellite S855D-S5148 laptop was bought about a month ago, but it's been giving me issues for the last week.
    The most significant one was a boot issue, where out of nowhere, the PC would not start, and after a hard restart, I received an error message saying Windows was not able to start. So I called tech support and they guided me through a PC refresh. That seemed to have solved the issue until twenty minutes later, when my system froze and I could not move the cursor let alone use any applications. So I did a hard restart again, and tried to do another PC refresh until the laptop 'clicked' and shut off. I restarted again, and my system seemed to be working normally until two days later (I did not shut it off or restarted it during this period, only kept it in hibernate when not in use).
    Upon trying to use my laptop, it said Windows was reconfiguring. Afterwards, I received an error message saying that Windows had to restart due to 'this problem,' though the problem was not specified. The error message included a list of file addresses that presumably contained a description of the problem, but I can't access the files because they don't show up when I search their addresses. They are .dmp and .xml files, respectively.
    Is anyone familiar with this problem? I wish I could return the laptop but it's a couple of weeks shy of the return period (Staples has a measely 14-day return period, but I didn't think I'd have to use it). I don't want to go through the hassle of shipping it off to Toshiba for repairs. Would reformatting the laptop solve the problem? I wish I could attach the .dmp and .xml files to this post but I can't locate them. I'd try using the recovery disks, but they were recently destroyed in a flood.
    Any comments, advice, and/or suggestions are very much welcome!

    Happy to learn the hardware is fixed.
    I was told they could not do so without the product key.   ...   Any ideas as to how I can get my product key?
    Everybody should know by now that there is no product key for preinstalled Windows. The OEM has it locked into the motherboard.
    As I've said over and over, recovery media will restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents. Windows will be activated.
    Windows is not installed during this process. Everything on the hard drive is restored. It's an important distinction.
