Issue loading Elements 9

I have been using elements 9 fine for a few months now without any concerns until today. I can load the organiser fine but when it comes to selecting edit in photoshop and the system trys to lad i get the following error - Could notmopen a scract file as the file could not be found. I dont know how to resolve this issue and any help would be appreciated. I tried putting in the disk and it only gives me the option to remove elements from the pc as it thinks all installed. Please help i have college work which needs to be in this week.

When loading Elements 10 why did it remove my Nic Software add-ons in Lightroom 3?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Nic programmes but no success. And it is all now so slow that i am thinking of reinstalling everything. With Windows 7, 8 gb of memory and and i5 Intel processor, my computer should be able to handle this. Elements 7 was already there and working well, so I must have done something wrong. Any suggestions?

Hi, After installing NIK plug-ins, Please check on C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets folder.Here you can see some Nik- plugins templates , open any template in Notepad and see "ExternalEditorFullPath" verify this path is right and whether .exe file is present at this location or not.Also verify the status of this path and .exe location after using the PSE.I am confident, this is the issue of file path mismatch. Scanner HP Director does not start after loading Elements 8

Since I loaded Elements 8, I cannot open my HP Scanner
Director, but can still scan or copy by using the buttons on the front of the scanner.
It appeas that Elements has "married" itself to my scanner.
Does anyone know a remedy?

I understand that you got 2 Windows updates, during the installation of the second one the computer froze. After 1 hour you removed the battery and reinstalled it.
Now when you try to power it on you get a blank or black screen with no error messages. The wireless light is lit for about 30 seconds before it powers itself down.
There has been some Windows updates that have been causing an issue.
Would you boot into Safe Mode and uninstall these updates.
KB2982791, KB2970228, KB2975719 and KB2975331.
The other one that is suspected of causing this issue is the "Search Protect" software.
If you check under programs and it is listed, please uninstall it.

Issue loading itunes on windows 7 home premium 64

Hello All ,
Kind of a computer newbie here with issue loading the new iTunes 9.0.3 software onto a new pc.
here is situation
Just got a new gateway dx4831 with windows 7 home premium 64 os preinstalled, down loaded the new software this afternoon. iTunes and QuickTime seemed to load and install correctly. Go to click on iTunes shortcut on desktop and nothing happens. Quick times loads and seems ok. Have tried to uninstall and download a couple of times but same issue.
Please help this computer newbie out

Thursday's tomorrow for you? If so, I'd try (on Thursday) both uninstalling the Norton trial and then running Symantec's Norton Removal Tool. (There's an unpleasant possibility of "undead" Norton componentry surviving the uninstall and continuing to molest your iTunes and/or BonJour.) Here's a link to the Tool:

Hi, I had been having the same problem for over a week, but both my window's HP and my 2011 macbook pro barely could load youtube. What kind of router you have? What camera model took the pictures? It is a question of when your camera was added for support. Check the following list and find your model. That will tell you what is required to work with your files.

Re-load element 11?

I need help to re-load elements 11?

Yes it's a bit annoying having to use another account. I assume they have trashed the prefs?
The editor saved prefs often get corrupted. You may need to rebuild the editor preferences to resolve any conflicts. Quit Elements.
Hold down the Cmd+Opt+Shift keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. Release the three keys when you see a pop up - you may need to look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Or go to applications and hold down the three keys whilst double clicking on Photoshop Elements Editor application.
When you see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?
Click on Yes - then wait whilst the app rebuilds the preferences.

Crash issues with elements organizer while running Apple OS 10.9 Mavericks. Crashes then ask if you want to reopen or not. Also when you are trying to manuver the page with your mouse things go crazy from a full page edit back to viewing all photos on the site and skipping around from picture to picture. Unsusable as it is today!

It is very critical to delete all preferences when you do a major OS X upgrade. You need to go to your username>library>preferences and delete everything pertaining to PSE. To see that library in 10.9, open a finder window, click your user account in the list on the left (the little house with your name), and then click the gear wheel at the top of the window and choose View Options. At the bottom of the list of checkboxes you'll see Library. Turn it on and then you can easily find the preferences folder.

PSE doesn't make big demands on the graphics card, but you want a screen that is at least 800 px tall to be able to use all the features. Some things, like the raw converter, may not appear at less than that.

I'm having issues loading Facebook due to time out error.

I'm on 10.8.2 and using Safari 6.0.1. I've tried everything....clearing cache, resetting Safari...and yet I'm having this issue. Also tried Chrome, Firefox and Opera as well. Sigh.
I've got no issues loading Facebook on my iPad using the same WIFI network. So I'm really puzzled.

i was having the same problem, after a trying all options that genuis bar recommeneded it still didn't work, but what worked was a DFU restore, which was actually recommeneded by a specialist at the Yorkdale apple store, i can't believe all the genuises i spoke to didn't recommend that the first time around after all else had failed... but DFU restore worked for me...

Can I use old version *"11.1.1.0.22.49.49"* of mdsrt.jar instead of current version *"11.1.1.0.31.51.88"*?
In version *"11.1.1.0.22.49.49"* mdsrt.jar, mdf-config.xml doesn't contain the loading-order tab for mds-component-config element.

Loading elements 10

I am loading elements 10 - i put the serial number in and it starts the loading - it asked for the second disk but the 1st disk won't eject - i get the disk out and put in the second disk and it asks me for the serial number - i use the same serial number and it says it's invalid. Do I need the 2nd and 3rd disks for me to use the elements 10 as the second disk seems to be a trial?
