Issue on component backflush.

Hi gurus,
When i do the component backflush to the order do i  get the document with 261 movements.Is that confirmation for that document happened or not Through a component backflushing?. How can i know whether confirmation has happened or not through a material document.
Please help me..
Thanks.

Hi Naveen,
Assembly backflush for the Header material i.e. GR with movt type 101 and
Component Backflush is for the BOM Item i.e Goods Issue with the movt type 261.
As I had explained previously once you get a document with 261 movement means the Goods Issue happened succefully. The material document can be checked in Tcode : MB03. If assembly backflush has happened you can see the Header Material with the movt type 101.
Hope it is clear.

  • Component Backflush (MFBF) - Process component list - User exit?

    We do the goods issue of the component (Mvt: 261) using the option below;
    "Component Backflush (MFBF) - Process component list". The users add the component directly in the screen entry "Process component list". But when they save, the requirement is to "add an additional packaging material internally say in a userexit or BADI".  Is it possible to add another component automatically using userexit?
    I tried the enhancements: XMRM0001 and also BADI for GOODSMVMT but no help. Any ideas? Appreciate your help. And expect a REWARD !!!! :):)
    Srini

    When I hit 'SAVE' on "Process Component list" screen, it stops at EXIT_SAPLMBARM_002. But by that time the material document is already created
    The process steps that I follow are as below:
    1) MFBF
    2) Choose radio button 'Component Backflush'
    3) Click on 'Process component list'
    4) Enter the Material 'M1', Plant and batch, Qty, Mvt: 261 and Hit enter
    5) ...... NOW ..
    6) BEGIN .. THE CUSTOM REQUIREMENT
      "When there is M1 in the list, Add automatically 'P1' material with 531  Plus
      "When there is M1 in the list, Add automatically 'P1' material with 261  Minus
    7) END    .. THE CUSTOM REQUIREMENT
    8) So the resulting Material document (Goods Issue) will have 3 line items:
    a) M1 261
    b) P1 531
    c) P1 261
    Thank you somuch. You can call me too if you can: 813-504-7100.

  • MFBF and MF70 for component backflush

    There is an option "component backflush" in MFBF for goods issue and there is a "post goods issue" option in MF70.
    what is the difference? aren't they both the same? if yes, then what extra functionality does MF70 provide?
    Thx

    Dear in REM scenario there are 3 types of backflush,
    1.Assembly backflush(normally GR,GI and activities are posted - 131,261 and activites are posted) or vice versa like 132,262.
    2.Component backflush(normally GI alone happens - 261/262 happens)
    3.Activity backflush(only the operations are posted)
    Yes you can use component backflush tab to post GI after GR without using MF70(incase of GI backflush at GR posting is unchecked in OSP2)
    cheers

  • Issues during Component Batch Determination for Process Orders

    Hi,
    I am encountering a strange issue during component batch determination of process order.
    1. During creation of process order, when I execute batch determination, systems does determination based on strategies we have set and when I click on Copy it gives an error
    "Log cannot be saved: Object/subobject not specified"
    Message no. BL201
    *Diagnosis
    Log save cancelled because at least one log contains no object or subobject.
    Object and subobject are needed to classify application logs because there are several log types. Only a few logs are managed in main memory at runtime, so this classification is not needed.
    If the logs are to be saved in the database, object/subobject must be specified for later retrieval.
    Procedure for System Administration
    Object/sub object can be passed when a log is created (function module BAL_LOG_CREATE) and changed with BAL_LOG_CHANGE.
    The possible values for object and sub object must be configured in transaction SLG0.*
    If I save the order with CRTD status and come back again in change mode and do determination, It works fine.
    Again when the order is in REL status and do the determination, It gives the same error.
    This happens only for a specific plant, In other plants batch determination works in all scenarios.
    I checked for all plant related Config for batch determination and coudn't find any discrepancies.
    Please advise how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your help
    Regards,
    Aheesh

    There Is no direct solution for your requirement just try this work around.
    While defining the batch determination search strategy for process order in COB1, there is one column Quantity proposal where you can attach the Routines (This is written in ABAB code )  make use of this, define New Routines with ABAB help to fulfill your requirement. Try this if found useful award full points.

  • Referance qty in component backflush

    Hi ,
    When we do component back flush in MFBF and select  "propose components acc to BOM" , we can enter the qty with six integer and three decimal places. Whereas with activity backflush m we can enter qty with eight integers and three decimal places.
    Can we alter this setting ? . I want the "component backflush " with eight integers and three decimals.

    ShankarR

    Hi,
    To the best of my knowledge, this is standard SAP setting which can't be changed.

  • Component backflush using Repetitive manufacturing

    Hi all
    I am using component backflush in REM to report my excess consumption of components. The mvt type used is 261 to cost collector. Lets say I do a component backflush for component C1 for qty = 100. I later realize that I entered 100 instead of 80. Is there a way that I can use the component backflush to to do a '262' of qty 20( 100-80) for component C1. In short I want to do a 262 for C1 against the cost collector.
    thanks a lot

    You can do it in MFBF with following steps
    Backflush type – component back flush
    Excess com consumption – select radio button Propose BOM acc bom. Enter zero qty here.
    Click on document neutral reversal push button
    Enter material/plant and other fields required and click on process comp list push button.
    In the next screen system will propose all the components with zero qty. Enter 20- (qty with –ve sign) and post the document. This will give component qty reversal with 262 mov type

  • Options on BOM component backflushing (Repetitive Manufacturing)

    We are in the process of implementing Repetitive Manufacturing and we would like some insight regarding BOM
    component backflushing.
    Our requirements:
    1) In a scenario with insufficient unrestricted component stock the entire transaction should be stopped, including the
    Goods Receipt of the assembly. We do not want backlogs generated and we do not want a correction dialog box. We
    only want the GI of component stock to happen for exactly the exploded BOM quantity or not at all.
    2) No opportunity should be given for the end user to modify the GI quantity of the BOM components even if there are
    errors.
    Unfortunately I have not found a combination of configuration settings in the repetitive manufacturing profile that can
    completely satisfy those requirements. Several settings have come close or give us other means of controlling the
    process but none have been a perfect fit. We've also looked into setting the stock deficit message (M7021) to "E" but
    we are worried about compromising other processes with that approach.
    Can you please let us know what, if anything, we are overlooking and what options are available to us to meet these
    requirements?

    Dear Prasad,
    1.Check in the REM profile whether the check box for error correction in dialog mode is mandatory.
    2.Check for this authorization object,under the main object C_BACKFL,check for this object BF_POST ,check whether the tick mark
    is for all these values.1 Post without correction
    2 Display BOM/routing
    3 Change BOM/routing
    Better not include the tick mark for option 3 and i hope this will solve your problem,
    Check and revert

  • To issue the component to the Production Order

    Hello All,
    I have assigned the component to the Operation of Production Order from Different plant(say 1100) of Same company code(1000).
    I want to issue that material from that plant to this plant (say 1000) of Production Order.
      So my question is the correct method of directly issuing the component to this Production Order of different plant.
    Shailendra

    Hi  HAdkar
    The correct procedure is .
    You have to assign special procurement key 80 in material master for which you want to procure from plant 1100. The material master of procuring material should exist for the plant 1100. While running MPR the procurement proposal will be automatically created in the 1100 plant. From 1100 plant you do stock transfer to your storage location. Then finally do GI for the header prod order in you plant.
    This is the procure in SAP. Eventhough both the plants exist in the same compound.

    I tried changing the value in capabilities of TP but it didn't effected the result. Also I tried changing the defualt values in Business Action but the result remained same.
    Please advise us on how to resolve this issue. Its a requirement for us to have 0x7c.
    any pointers will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Sahil,
    Override the default/current values in the operational capability of Remote Trading partner and revalidate and redeploy the agreement. Make sure that you are not passing internal properties from the back-end.
    In case still the issue persists, mail back your b2b log, ecs file and payload.

  • Enhancing F4 Search Help Issue - Standard Component

    Hello All,
    We have a requirement in SRM to customize couple of standard Search helps attached to the Webdynpro components. As such I know the concept of how we can handle this requirement but hitting an issue.
    Standard Working scenario -
    1) Standard Structure available with multiple fields. Two fields that are of our interest are SH_VALUE and SH_VALUE_LABEL.
    2) Standard Search help for this being used has fields VALUE and VALUE_LABEL.
    3) In the Structure the both the fields SH_VALUE and SH_VALUE_LABEL are mapped to the Search help VALUE and VALUE_LABEL.
    4) In the WD component the node is mapped to the standard structure.
    Running the application and the picking up the values from F4 on the SH_VALUE field will return its corresponding value and also map the SH_VALUE_LABEL field with the Label from the F4 since the structure and Search help mapping are there.
    So far good when its standard.
    Issue I am facing -
    We need to modify this standard search help to customize our needs.
    1) Did a Copy of the standard Search help and then modified to suit our needs. The output structure of the search is still the same as the standard one.
    2) Did a Post Exit in the WD component to call our custom search help through the below code -
    data lo_nd_attrib type ref to if_wd_context_node.
    data lo_nd_attrib_info type ref to if_wd_context_node_info.
    lo_nd_attrib = wd_context->path_get_node( path = `ATTRIBUTES_DATA.ATTR_DTLS_MULT` ).
    lo_nd_attrib_info = lo_nd_attrib->get_node_info( ).
    lo_nd_attrib_info->set_attribute_value_help( name = 'SH_VALUE' value_help_mode = '121' value_help = 'Z_ORG_ATTR' ).
    lo_nd_attrib_info->set_attribute_value_help( name = 'SH_VALUE_LABEL' value_help_mode = '121' value_help = 'Z_ORG_ATTR' ).
    Running the application just returns the SH_VALUE field but does not get the data for the SH_VALUE_LABEL.
    Is there something wrong in the way I am calling the Custom Search help or should I need to approach this differently?
    Thanks,
    Nagarajan.

    Hi Nagarajan,
    Well, you are trying to set the search help to both attributes ( sh_value, sh_value_label) individually and it is having no link between these two attributes
    i.e. once you select a value from search help of SH_VALUE, its no where linked that the other details to be passed to SH_VALUE_LABEL.
    We generally, do the linking of attributes to search help parameters at structure level as below
    So, if you need the same behaviour, then you need to assign the Zsearch help at strucuture field SH_VALUE and link the parameters to both fields SH_VALUE & SH_VALUE_LABEL
    In case, if find it not possible to to this way,
    You need to populate the value of field SH_VALUE_LABEL upon selection of value from search help of SH_VALUE.
    i.e. by registering the search help selection event to an OnEnter action and write the logic to populate the value to SH_VALUE_LABEL
    Please refer the below link
    Automatically Trigger onEnter event after selecting value from the Value Help(F4 Help)
    Hope this helps you.

    Rama

  • IPad 2 issue with Component to TV

    I have just purchased a Genuine Apple AV Component cable to connect to my TV.
    I connected it all up at the back of the TV, and connected it to my iPad 2 (5.0.1). Now I can get Audio, but no video.
    Connected it to the USB to give it charge..
    Looked under Settings General and there wasn't a TV OUT option, as I was expecting
    Also, within Video there wasnt any option to change PAL/NTSC. I'm based in the UK
    Any ideas?

    Same problem: we have 2 iPads: the one iPad 2 with version 4.3.5 is working fine, with the AV cable connector on it mirrors the iPad 2 perfectly. The TV out settings are displayed under Video.
    However with my other iPad 2, version 5.0.1, the latest, it's now impossible to use the mirroring feature, the same AV cable, connected to the same TV or monitor is not even detected by the iPad. The TV out settings are no longer in the Video settings (now replaced by the Home Sharing Id, you really wonder why...). I need the mirroring function back as I'm using my iPad for work to do presentations and the external monitors, TV or projectors won't detect it at all..and of course the expensive AV cable is now useless..
    I've tried looking for the TV out settings under the General Settings as recommended by other people on the forum but they don't appear even when the AV cable adapter is connected.
    I really hope it's a bug and that Apple is going to fix it ASAP!

  • Issue with Component Binding

    Hi,
    I'm using JDeveloper version - 11.1.1.6
    I have following usecase in my product:
    1. In summary page, I have table to display list of Activities.
    2. When user Clicks an Activity, display the Activity summary (Region) below the table. The Activity summary page has Panel Tabbed component with 2 ShowDetailItem components.
    I defined a binding in pageFlowScope for PanelTabbed component in the Managed Bean.
    When I select the first activity, In the Activity summary bean, the task-flow initializer method executes first and PanelTabbed component setter method gets executed later.
    But when I select any other activity the execution is in reverse order - The setter method of PanelTabbed component executes first and task-flow initializer method executes later.
    Is this expected behavior? How can I ensure that task-flow initializer method executes first every time before executing the component bindings setter method?
    Any inputs would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
    component bindings must be in request scope not pageFlowScope. Please use backingBeanScope in your case

  • Repaint() Issues with component

    Hi.
    I'm creating a Swing GUI using a JTree component. The particular setup I want is a JSplitPane
    containing some functions in the top pane and the actual JTree displaying some data and possibly the resulting changes when any of these functions are used.
    The problem I was having was in trying to update the JTree object after the user presses one of the
    function JButtons on top. I have a call to repaint() as part of my event-handling code after the JButton's
    procedure completes. However, since the JTree is generated using a separate method (i.e. im passing
    in a TreeNode), the repaint() doesn't do anything.
    The one thing that I've considered is extending the JTree class and overriding its repaint() method to
    include that separate method call, but Is there any more elegant or standard way to do this that I'm not seeing?
    Thanks in advance.

    There is paintImmediately() method. You can also try to use
    SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait call to let your tree be repainted.

  • ARB Issue: Styling Component Parts

    Posted Today:
    http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Styling+Component+Parts
    Please comment by EOD April 6th. Thanks!

    Hey there again,
    Just bringing a few updates to this subject. I have tried to enforce some specific behavior on af|menu::child-container, calling it according to its container, like this:
    af|panelGroupLayout.MyClass1 af|menu::child-container {
         position:fixed !important;
         top:100px !important;
    af|panelGroupLayout.MyClass2 af|menu::child-container {
         position:fixed !important;
         top:200px !important;
    and, even though the browsers see this exact code (tried with both IE Dev Tool and Firebug), the behavior is still the default one (position:static I guess and, by default, the top property is ignored). I also tried the same for af|menu::scroll-box, af|menu::scroll-content and tried the syntax af|menu::bar-item > table.nth-child(2) {position: fixed; top:100px} (tried this because the 2nd child of the af|menu::bar-item is an html table and indeed, as I said above, the browser sees my specifications for this component but still does not apply them.)
    Just to make it clear, when I say that the browser sees my specifications I mean that it's not just some css that's overwritten by the default component behavior. Firebug / IE Dev Tool say that my specifications are applied, yet the desired behavior does not happen. It's the first time that I encounter a component that does not respect the specifications stated in Firebug / IE Dev Tool.
    I honestly believe this is a framework bug. If anybody has any clue about this kind of behavior, please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Toma
