Incase of movement type 161 goods receipt there should not be any excise accounting entry while MIGO. In case of movement type 161 The excise accounting entry is created when we post J1IS/J1IV.

Hi Ishu,
U must have selectred Excise Invoice in MIGO transaction. SElect "No Excise Duty" in MIGO and post the excise invoice in J1IS. Then u will get the correct entries.
Also u need not deassign movement type involving excise

Issue with SPA525g registation and FXO port call calls are not disconnecting properly

Hi,
I have a UC540 and updated it to the latest IOS version with the latest firmware to my phones and i am having registration problems with SPA525g IP Phones. I updated the firmware of the phones as well and create manual tftp bindings with but still it is not registering. I run a couple of debugs (debug tftp events and debug ephone registration) I can see from the logs and in the phone that it is taking the proper VLAN and being discovered via CDP and being pointed to the TFTP server and still wont register. I can see that it is also taking its own .cnf file properly then the output sccp token regected invalid devices error is shown I have a SPA502G and it is working fine. Also there is a previous issue that all the voice port are shown as engage or offhook even the calls are disconnected thus make the main PSTN number busy am based in UAE and our service provider is etisalat I have check with them about the proper disconnection values but still it the same. That's why I have arrived in the conclusion to just update everything including the IOS and the phones firmware. I have put my config in this post, I am also trying to take the CCNA Voice exam on the 2nd week of april and I think that if i don't know how fix this issue for our customer then I would probably fail that exam. any suggestion and help is greatly appreciated cisco experts.

Nicolo - First off this stuff gets crazy sometimes. No worries about the exam. Sometimes when FXO ports go crazy it is due to battery reversal. If you go to the FXO port settings try turning battery reversal on and or off... depending on its current setting. See if that helps.
As for the 525s not registering.. These are inside the network correct? Are you connecting one directly to the UC500 with a Cat5E or Cat6 patch cable and the same thing happens? Does the MAC address on the phone match a MAC address under the EPHONE settings?
If you telnet into the UC500 can you execute a "dir" command at the CLI prompt and "CD" (change directory) into the phones folder and then the spa525g folder? Do files exist in there?
Also I only see an IP address under BVI100? This is the voice side of things what happened to the IP address under BVI1 (Data VLAN). Can you give us some information about the internal network? Cna you PING this phone system from the network? What IP address does it have?

Issue in Purchase Register

Hi All,
I am facing a typical scenario while running the purchase register.
Most of the grpo's that were created during the period of 01-04-09 to 30-09-09 are with the excise tax codes and while creation of the a/p invoices, the tax code has been changed to exempt. Also, a good number of GRPO's are still open.
Also, in a few cases, the grpo has been created on 11-10-09 and the invoice for this grpo has been created on 30-09-09 (the system should not have allowed this.. is this a bug in the system??)
How do I correct these go get a proper report in the purchase register??
A. Should I copy the open GRPO's to the A/P invoice and then run the purchase register??
B. Correct the entries and then run the purchase register? (What about the GRPO's that have been copied to A/P Invoices? Should i create a credit memo for this?)
C. First follow point A, get the reports and then manually reconcile these??
Please provide solutions to solve this issue.

Issue regarding RG23A Part -II

hi Expert,
i am getting problem in updation of RG23A Part -II, while doing MIGO Part - I register is getting updated but CENVAT credit document is not generating and also it is not updating Part - II.
My scenerio is like that BED - 16%
                                   AED - 4%
                                   SED - 2%
when creation of MIGO if base value is 20000 Rs. then system passes accounting entry like this
Inventroy     Dr. 24000 RS.
GR/IR         Cr. 24000 RS.
which is wrong actually it should generate entry like
Inventroy                      Dr. 20000 Rs.
BED A/c                      Dr.   3200 Rs.
AED A/c                      Dr.     800 Rs.
SED A/c                      Dr.     400 Rs.
GR/IR                          Cr. 20000 Rs.
CENVAT Clr. A/c          Cr. 4400 Rs.
please give advise to sort out this problem and also tell me what is the T. code to see RG23 A part - I & Part - II.

Go to J1iex and capture Excise. Accounting entry as required by you will get generated then.

I understand the process of RG23A part2 entries in J_1Ipart2 table with Dispatch indicator D.
My query is ....
if the above talbe is updated with D type register, then these entires whould come during modvat utlization - J2IUN. because these are due for utilization.
In my system during j2iun, these invoices are not reflecting.

Updation of RG23A register (PART II) with Vendor Rejection

Dear ALL
We are doing the Vendor Rejection with mvmt type '122' with good issue indicator 'IPD' . The Part I register is updated perfectly. after MIGO , we create excise Invoice thru J!IS (Posting of Excise Invoice). Here perfectly the GLs are getting effected but the Part II register is not carrying the effect. The J_1iPart2 table hold these entry with Register Type 'D' , and the same is not located in Part II print out .
Can any one help me to resolve this issue , the user wants the details of Vendor Return Excise in the PART II register .

Hi Anjali,
Go to SPRO-Log Gen-Tax on goods movement-India-Account determination
-Specify excise accounts per transactions
Here check whether Debit/Credit & Account name are maintained properly for OTHR.
Also check whether you are using subtransaction type for Return to vendor, if yes then OTHR with that sub trax type should have been maintained.
Now-Specify G/L acct per trax-
Here check the G/L assignments for yous excise group & trax type 'OTHR' (Also sub trax type, if it is there).
Also make sure, you are selecting 'Only part 1' option at the time of 122.
Check all these settings,

STO WITH EXCISE, RG23A - Register is not updating

Hai experts,
I have created stock transfer order, with reference to that order i have issued material to another plant. with reference to this document number i have created excise document in J1IS & J1IV...
It has to update in RG23A Part II.. It is not happen...
What could be the reason
Please guide me

I think u haven't tick for the immediate utilisation for ur series group .
if u tick then u can find the debit values in RG23A partII
else
the values will flow to payable and u can settel the smae at the time of utilisation.

J2I6 for Rg23A Register

Dear All,
in J2I6 excise register print i have few issues..
1. Education Cess is displaying in other duties field but Sec Ed cess is not displaying, but when we download to excel its appearing
i referred the notes and its mentioned that we can see only in excel sheet but not in print preveiew. Is there any way ?
2. we can see only the list of materials received in this report, my client is asking they should see the consumption also. As per them they can take credit only after consumption. Is that correct ?

Yes you can only see in Excel since SAP Smartforms are not proper also do not give much support for it in case of Outputs of CIN, If you want you can develop your Smartform as per Excise rules & attach it & Use.

Yes correct, After issuing the materials you need to do J1I5 & J2I5 then it will show in J2I6 for Consumption with Issue Indicator in Register

Facetime and iMessage issue in MacBookPro: Registering device does not have the appropriate credentials

When I try to log into Facetime or IMessage, system have returned the following error:
Registering device does not have the appropriate credentials
Two days ago Facetime was working correct I did not change my Apple ID or my password since them. Operating system is Mountain Lion update running on my MacBook Pro.
I do not know if could be a reason for this issue or not but I have updated recently my iPhone and my iPad to iOS 7. But Facetime between these device are working properly, the problem is with the MacBook Pro.
Please, any help to solve this problem will be apreciated.

I do have the same thing going on with my MacBook! it's annoying!

KABA connection issue - program not registered

I am trying to troubleshoot a connection error between SAP and KABA. I have the RFC created in SAP and when I test the connection I get a program not registered. The KABA "amsproc" service on the KABA side has been restarted, we have occasionally received a password locked message in the SAP system log after restarting the KABA service (I believe this means SAP and KABA are communicating). We have since reset the password, but we can not successfully test the RFC and when attempting to send IDOC's out we get the program not registered error. Is there something on the SAP side that needs to be done to register the program or is starting the service on the KABA side going to register the program with SAP? Any assistance would be appreciated.

In Central Management Console ie, Admin application of BOE, you need to configure the BW system. Use the below URL,
http://<serverhostname>:<port>/CmcApp
After logging in Select the Authentication and SAP as authentication type. Regarding how to configure, follow the configuration steps mentioned in the below article:

Once you import the roles with the above configuration, the user with which you are validating the RFC connection will be imported in the BOE.
Now, verify the RFC in the BW system.

Issue In RG1 Register

Dear All,
When I execute the transaction J1I5 and J1I6 for the RG1 Register none of my sales related coloumns like removal from factory both Qty and Value, BED,ECS,SECS,and AED are getting updated,please advice what needs to be done.

Hello Atul,
Please check the table J_1IEXCDTL (item details table) check whether the quantity and EXBAS field is updated with values.
Also please check whether duty values are updated!

IRec Issue related to Registering Candidate

Hi ,
I need to remove/hide Work Fax field in Phone Number Section when register candidates , through personalization I have checked but there is no option available and I have found one lookup PHONE_TYPE and remove the Work Fax check but could not found the impact on Phone Number Section even clear the cache also, kindly help me out.

Hi both - we have a similar requirement, to restrict the LOV for a particular responsibility to phone types like 'Work%':
Brad - we have IRC: Phone Types set at Site level; I tried setting it with fewer options at responsibility level but this does not appear to restrict the phone types available
Sajid: I've tried this with form personalization which I think should be possible from examples I've read on forums, but when I open the form I'm getting the error "frm-41826: Cannot replace group; columns don't match LOV" which I assume means my selection criteria is incorrect. However, the LOV only displays 1 column of data when opended from the form.
These are the steps I took to build, if anyone can tell me where I've gone wrong I'd be most grateful:
Create Form personalization on PERWSPHN form (UKSHRMS>People>Phones) WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger event, 2 actions:

STO Interplant Excise

Hi,
I want to know when we do STO between plants for raw material. Which excise register gets hit in both the plants. What are the excise entries. Please tell me the usual practice

For raw material RG23A register will get updated. When you issue materila please capture the excise via J1IS. During MIGO in receiving plant RG23A part1 register will get updated .Capture the excise in J1IEX. Then RG23A part2 postings will get updated. To get the excise caliculations need ti implemet the tax procedure. In both the plants RG23A register wil get updated. in issuing plant RG23A register values will be reduced. Thanking you.

I have two issues. 1) unable to update Acrobat XI Pro and 2) unable to register product

First issue: I have for the second time installed Acrobat xi pro and then click on "check for updates" from the help menu. And it shows that an update is available. But when I update it I am given the following error message:
Error 1328. Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT669B.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."
When I click on "details" I am sent to adobe's "update error" page. Which states the following for error 1328: Error applying patch to [filename]. It's likely that something else updated the file, and the patch can't modify it. For more information, contact your patch vendor.
I have tried uninstalling program and re-installing program but still get same error message from my attempt at updating. So I am not sure if program is update or not. And I do not know who my "patch vendor" is.
Second issue: Unable to register product with Adobe. Because the option to do so from the "help" menu which lists "product registration" is greyed/dimmed out. Therefore not giving me the ability to register this product. Please let me know what is causing this problem.

I am not sure, but will suggest some things to try. On the activate issue, it may be that your system already thinks it is activated and so you might try the deactivate and check. If that works, I would suggest you then uninstall, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove anything left of the Acrobat folder, reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully you can open Acrobat and activate. Then do the updates from the Help menu.
