Issue : Regarding Generation of the Quota

Hi, i wanted to set the requirement so that new employee will only entitled to 15 paid sick leave after 3 months of services, i've configured the base entitlement as following:
Seniority : 003 - 004 months (after 3 months of service) : 15 days (related to calendar days)
                 004-005 (after 4 months of service): 30 days (related to calendar days)
In my generation rule, and appropriate settings..
i've set calendar year as accural period.
but, when i check the quota of a new employee for that current month, and they've generated 0,6700 which should be 0 since that employee haven completed 3 months of services.
i dunno what's the problem, pls guide. thanks.
i also tried other ways such as setting 3 months relative positions at deduction interval, but it doesn work.

    I was wondering what is the best practice/suggested approach regarding generation of the EOImpl and the VORowImpl java files for ADF Business Components.
    From the maintenance point of view, it makes sense to generate them only if you want to put some custom code in those e.g. validation or transient attribute.
    However from performance point of view, does it help to have these EOImpl and the VORowImpl java files generated.
    Any thoughts on this will be a lot helpful.

    Explain the details of the generated code for view object row classes and entity object row classes, respectively.
    As described in the guide, the key benefit of the generated code is not performance, but of type-safe access and having a place to put custom code when needed.
    When you don't have a generated row class, then there is no typesafe method like getSal() to get the Sal attribute.
    Section 4.4.9 Generic Versus Strongly-Typed APIs gives a few more details on that and both 5.11.1.1 Generating Bind Variable Accessors and 5.11.1.2 Generating View Row Attribute Accessors give some concrete examples of the value proposition of the strongly-typed API's.
    Without the typed API's of course, you need to get an attribute value by calling:
    yourRow.getAttribute("SomeAttrName");
    or
    yourRow.getAttribute(3); // integer attribute index (zero-based) [see section 5.11.3.3 in the guide]
    Since it's rare that someone will like to use the numerical approach, then let's assume that people would go with the generic getAttribute("SomeAttrName") way.
    Internally, the framework will need to find the attribute index based on the attribute name before accessing the attribute. If you perform this attribute-name-to-attribute-index lookup a zillion times, then of course it would end up representing some overhead that you could avoid by either using the numerical index yourself, or generating the strongly-typed class. The generated code avoids the need to lookup the attribute by string name and also provides the compile-time checking (i.e. typesafe access) in your code.
    So, the performance of using the attribute index access (or the generated code) that is ever-so-slightly faster than using the attribute access by string name, not necessarily the generation of code itself that makes things faster. The performance shouldn't be the basis of the strategy decision, but if they see the value of typesafe access then it might be worth the extra files -- some perhaps containing no custom code -- being generated for them.

    sorry I would think batch level should be set up in the material level rather than plant one.

  • Street line formating issue (number comes before the street name)

    Hello everyone,
    I have an issue regarding formatting of the street line - when I include an address field (say in Smartforms) the street number comes before the street name. This would be according to USA standards, but I need it to be formatted by the EU standards (street name, and then the number). Also, where ever we have an address attached (SU01, customer/vendor master recs, purchase orders, etc) we get the same issue.
    So, now it is: "1234 MyStreetName", but I need it to come as "MyStreetName 1234".
    I have tried SA10, SA09, OY01 (and all the other customizing I could find), none of which had worked. The strange thing is that in our IDES system, it is displayed as it should be (name - number).
    I can't find where this is preconfigured in IDES, so if anyone can suggest I would be very gratefull + points will be awarded for all the helpfull answers.

    Hi Payroll Experts,
    I have a payroll issue regarding the Claims - /561 and /563 (October PY Run)
    When i m runnning the Current month Payroll(October PY Run), Total Earning - total deductions are not matching with Net Pay. later i came to know that the system creates the WT /561 and deducts from the Net Pay.
    But as per the Employee Payment Details , there is no recovery required from the employee for the past one year. But even then the system creates the WT /561. and deducts the same from NET Pay.

    some of the employees having differences in the Net Pay, Eventhough the employee is having sufficient balances.
    So how do i handle this issue

  • REgarding licensing issues involvng 'Computername' and the use of UpperCase4 vs Lowercase Letters

    Does any one know if it would cause problems for the Office 365 software license to be displayed as licensed to an ALL CAPS name like 'MY-FAVORITE-PC' but the computer itself shows the computer name to be 'my-favorite-pc"?
    If it does, which one should I change?  A couple of people here have had this same problem (which usually occurs when they change to using a different PC for their account) I have to Deactivate their Old PC namer and then install the licnse to
    their New OC using whatever name it has.
    On more than one system, this has resulted in various odd "failure to contact Microsoft server" issues when activating.  The problem continues for 7 days and then their copy of Office starts showing reed warning bards and eventually gets totally
    unusable.
    However, if I uninstall the office, deactivate the license, and reinstall it once again, it install just fine and acts ok but invariably at some point, the same thing occurs.
    On one of them I noticed the difference in the case of the letters used in the computer name and the license name.  On others I am wondering about various software add ins for Outlook or some other 3rd part application causing the problem.  Whatever
    it is, it gets extremely annoying.  Officer 365 apparently must run an activation sequence almost constantly while Office 2010 (and I presume 2013) ran it once and were done with it.
    Searching Google I have found too many  possible reasons along with a lot of people who have had the same problems but no one seems to have the 100% solution.   This has only started happening since we switched to Office 365 and only
    seems to occur on systems that are changed out to different ones with the same User's 365 Account which is in good standing  and has 5 available licenses of which only one is in use.
    In the case of the caps vs lowercase I also wonder if changing the name to CAPS on their PC would create additional problems on its own?

    The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet.  Are you still using the same wireless router.  The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace.  For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio.   I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

    I went to the Disk Utility and performed a "verify disk permissions", after which I ran the repair disk permissions. After that it said something was modified and it would not be repaired.
    I've been having some odd issues lately, namely, System Preferences and Adobe Acrobat Reader hanging on me. Then it prevents me from shutting down properly.
    Does anybody know what is happening and how I might resolve the issue below?

    First "verify" is a total waste of time - - either do nothing or repair, but never verify. Verify is pointless.
    Those messages are to be ignored and have nothing to do with your shutdown issue.
    A quick search of these boards will reveal dozens of threads about the SUID and cups things.
    Ignore them. As they say, they are "warnings" not errors and have been around since an early Leopard update.
    Look in your console logs for the real issues regarding Acrobat and System Preferences hanging up.
    Check your login items.
    Create a new user account and see if the hangs occur with the new account.

It seams that the client, who want to implement the scanning procedure for the PM Spare Parts, can not do this with wireless scanners if the maintenance of the spare parts is done with Inventory Management means and has requested to implement Warehouse Management integration. The fact is that I know that IM can be use. And I know, also, that the basic needs for IM use is that the materials have activated the Batch Management and, the scanning is based on batch bar code/material bar code, together with - for GR - PO bar code and, for GI - the WO bar code. But the issue regarding the wireless baffles me. Please, can you tell me what is the way for setting the wireless connection for the scanners in IM? Thank you very much for your kindness.

  • Issue related to change of Quotas on transfering an employee

    Dear All,
    I have a query regarding the generation/ updation of quotas during transfers. We have 2 sets of groupings. For the 1st set of grouping as per the PSA's, PL quota is 21 days and for the 2nd set of grouping, PL quota is 24 days and is genearted through TQTA. Time management status is 7.
    Now when I try transfering the employee from one PSA to another, he falls into a different set of grouping but the PL quota doesnt get changed. Kindly let me know the steps to be followed to get the quotas generated accordingly. Also let me know incase I need to run TQTA, once the transfer action is run.

    Hi Deepali,
    Please check if the change in workcentre basic pay is activated in your quota selection rule.
    You will find the checkbox under "Accrual Period" tab.
    If it is activated, the next time you run TQTA ( i guess the accrual period is monthly) it should get adjusted.

    Do you have any idea to solve this problem and get it green?

  • Quation rejected but i can issue purchase order for the rejected.

    hi, i have several issues to be solved
    i rejected a quotation but i can issue purchase order for the rejected quotation..
    q1:  why SAP  had given that option?
    q2:How do i restrict user to issue purchase order for rejected quotation?
    q3: what i observed was , accepting the quotation entirely lies with user.so what is the criteria for accepting the quotation.. Is it just the price?? If it is the just price then How do i restrict the user to go always for low price quotation?

    In SAP R/3, RFQ comparision is done on the basis on price only.( including excluding discounts, delivery cost....).
    In true business scenario, lowest cost is not the best solution. There are other qualitative parameters which needs to be considered for taking final decision. These factors can be different for different type of purchases. e.g. for capital goods what is the life of equipment. Total cost simulation is done outside system & PO is created with reference to best fit quote.
    In SRM, we can define parameters against which we can evaluate the quote within the system.

    Hi,
    While doing MFBF (GR GI) I am getting error "change rem profile regarding generation of postprocessing records" Message No RM887. I am using same REM profile for many other materials for which MFBF is working fine. There are no COGI errors pendings for the materials for which I am gettinh error. But in MF47 there are some pending records which I neither can change nor delete, I am geting same message as in MFBF in MF47. So I have two issues here 1) How to adress error in MFBF. 2) Why records are seen in MF47 and not in COGI?

    Please refer the OSS notes 383141,202654, 885798.
    In OSP2 Transaction, check whether the REM Profile having the Tick for "Create Cumulated post processing records".
    If this is not there, and allowing the entries to go to COGI with Execute Correction in dialogue mode "Optional" will be a problem
