You can use HARCSI00 report - this report evaluates both membership fees IT 0057 and payroll results.
or
You can use PC00_M99_CWTR (wage type reporter) and choose relevant Membership wage type to check the values.

I notice that one BW report that runs in few seconds will take upto 3.5 minutes when multiple users run it at the same time.
We are in BW 3.5 and we run reports for portal.
Does anyone have any suggestion about how to handle performance issue with concurrent users?

use the OLAP-cache and/or aggregates and consider using load balancing to distribute the users to several servers.

Here seems to be that a plugin is not loaded : com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.infostore.internal.InfoObjects||Assertion failed: Java plugin for CommonConnection is not loaded.
could this affect the performance of Crystal Reports for Enterprise and how could I fix this ?

Thanks for your response. Please note, however, the transaction RAD1 does not exist. Let me provide more details about the current settings of the InfoObject.
The Characteristic is 'Item' (0CS_ITEM) and upon going to RSA1 > Modeling > InfoObjects > Item (0CS_ITEM) > Right Click > Display > Business Explorer (tab) > Text Type is set to 'Long Text' and BEx description is set to 'Long description' already.
When I run/execute the query with this Item characteristic, the results in BEx Analyzer is showing appropriate long text, however, Crystal Report for Enterprise shows short text only

Issue regarding consecutive run for an Interface

i have an issue regarding an interface
if this Interface is a initial run for the file, you have to populate all the data of the people. That is , unlike other interfaces where we send only the latest record, in this interface we need to send all the records of the employees. in a employee has 10 records with different dates, we will pick up all the records greater than 1999 and pass it. whereas if there is a change in one field, then we will send all the record of that file. And If it is a consecutive run then you have to populate changes only. the following algorithm can help you in this

transfer IT_FINALDATA to XI.
else
Declare a 2 more internal tables similar to IT_FINALDATA...for our below example let us assume that
         DATA: IT_CLUSTERDATA type standard table of IT_FINALDATA.
         DATA: IT_COMPAREDATA type standard table of IT_FINALDATA.
use the following statement to retrieve the data from cluster and comparing it
        IMPORT IT_CLUSTERDATA TO IT_COMPAREDATA FROM DATABASE indx(zn) ID 'IN_8085'.
        Compare IT_COMPAREDATA with IT_FINALDATA
If sy-subrc = 0.
Means there are no changes, and no output required
Else
Pass the data to XI interface, And store the internal table in the same INDX table, using the following statement
EXPORT IT_FINALDATA to IT_CLUSTERDATA FROM DATABASE indx(zn) ID 'IN_8077'.
Endif.
In this can we deliver the changed data at every single consecutive run.

This is something where HR Interface Toolbox (PU12) can be very helpful, it will take care of changes from one run to another and you can configure it to send changes only in next run. But, you will need some ABAP in its user exits to restrict the data after 1999, and any other restrictions that you might want.

Issue Regarding Cyrstal Report Server 2008

Hi,
I've found some issue using crystal report server 2008 V1. The followings are my information for your reference.
Could you kindly please let me know what you can help.
-              My client has bought crystal report server 2008 V1 and deploy on the production server (window server 2008).
-              We've developed the crystal report with command object.
-              When we tested on printing report with 2 or 3 login user, report is successfully come out.
-              When concurrent users to print the same report are about 100 or 200, then we faced Load Report Failed error.
-              I've found that the Server Intelligence Agent service is stopped.
-              When installing crystal report server, we've used the same database with our application to install report server's database connection.
My questions are,
                1. Cyrstal Report Server 2008 V1 can handle how many concurrent users?
                2. Is crystal report can run without running Server Intelligence Agent service?
                   Or this service is stopped because of too many concurrent user printing crystal report?
                3. What is your suggestion on the Load Report Failed when too many access to print report?

Out of the box, the Crystal Report Server only comes with 5 named user license. So hitting it with 100+ users would result in all kinds of issues. I'm actually surprised you can hit it with anywhere close to 100 users. In order for you to be able to get to the high number of hits required, you will have to obtain more licenses. These are available in 5 concurrent user packs and you can add up to 4 of these packs. Any more than that, you're lookign at BO Enterprise.

Issue Regarding MB5B report

Hi,
In MB5B report, on selection screen select the CATEGORY and tick all the relevant check boxes,
then under settings select
"Totals Only-Non-Hierarchical presentation layout"
Then execute the report.
you are getting blank screen in your screen shot because, there is no mvt in the materical code, neither issue qty nor receipt qty thats why you are not getting data.
Only opening n closing stock is available.
Just do as suggested, hope your issue will resolved.

If you want to see the total stocks available at vendor then use report MBLB

         I've created an ALV report which is having a editable checkbox box field and some more fields that are not editable.
My requirement is that when i check any checkbox, some of the fields in that particular row should become editable.
In table control it can be done easily but can it be done in ALV.
Note: I have created the ALV through container as it was required.

Hi,
Basically you will have to first register the data change event after you display the grid as follows:-
    CALL METHOD y_lobj_grid->register_edit_event
      EXPORTING
        i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>MC_EVT_MODIFIED
      EXCEPTIONS
        error      = 1
        OTHERS     = 2.
Here Y_LOBJ_GRID is my grid object of type CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
Then you will have to set a handler method for this.
   SET HANDLER y_obj_evt_handler->y_m_handle_cell_modified
    FOR Y_LOBJ_GRID.
Here y_obj_evt_handler is a local class in your program and y_m_handle_cell_modified is the method of that class.
In this method you can change the fields to make then editable or non editable.

Regarding Alv report for Production Cost

Hi All,
I have to create one report using alv,in my selection screen i have fields Company code(BUKRS) , Financial Year (RYEAR) , and period (RPMAX).
I am using the tables GLT0,SKAT.
I need to display in out put Account Number(GLT0-RACCT),Short description(SKAT-TXT50) and actual value and planned values.
These actual and planned values are stored in table GLT0 with record type (RRCTY,0-for actual and 1- planned) and some 16 fields are there like HSL01 to HSL16.
My doubt is how we get these values dynamically from table based on period value in selection screen.

Standrad reports for material consumption

Hi ,
I require input on following scenario.
The raw material is consumed in REM backflushing. For each work center a production version is created .
In MCRO t/c i get the production version /material wise consumption of raw material.
Three work centers will form a stage . If i want to check the material consumption for each stage , is there any standard report.
If i define a work center hierarchy , will it help?

Many issues in Crystal Reports for VS 2005 Pro

Hi All, Got a few questions...I just upgraded to VS 2005 Pro from VS 2003 pro. I find that there's alot of "bugs" or perhaps someone could point out some possible common errors I might have done... First thing that got to me was that a report that would normally take about 6Mb of space, now takes approximately 25Mb ?!? Why is this happening ? an app that would normally land me at about 30Mb is now 100Mb.Second, for some reason, I can't add any images (such as jpg files) that are saved in CMYK mode... when I try, Visual Studio simply crashes. I have to convert all of them to RGB... Why doesn't Crystal support this ?At times, mostly frequent, if I am in the process of editing a report in design mode, I click save first, then I try to run my appclication, and the system replied that I don't have enough memory (I run on a Centrino 2GHz with 2GB of RAM and 20GB free space on my hdd). So I have to close Visual Studio and restart it in order to run in Debug or Release mode... Am I the only one experiencing this ?Thanks for any input you can provide...Marty 

I went through the Process monitor logs and did not find anything regarding "Access Denied".
The only thing that I saw was that during the CreateFileMapping operation for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Business Objects\2.7\bin\ExportModeller.dll" the result was "FILE LOCKED WITH ONLY READERS". This is the first DLL that failes to register. After that I canceled the install
I created a log file during the install and this is what I got regarding this DLL:

Thank you for reahcing out to us for this query .
As per the Eula, one seat is assigned to one user only but that one user can have the products installed on upto two of Machines that belongs to him . So in our case , since you are installing the product on a machine that does not belong to the original user , you will be violating the terms of EULA .

Thanks for your timely reply. In our case however the machines belong to the department, not the individual user, so would not fair use include install on the department's machines? I am certainly not trying to over parse your response or find a way around the EULA-since money is a large issue for a state institution (California State University, Northridge-I'm in the Marketing Department), I have to do my due diligence to make sure we are being as fiscally responsible as possible and it does seem to me that looked at from the perspective of departmental ownership, the install on a second workstation should be allowed. Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

Select the hosts file and open it.

First open the report in Disply/Change mode and then see the all calculations in side the report, if you don't use any Formula Functions in side teh Formula calculations then you will get X, you can avoide it using Formula Functions.

Issue regarding 0 truncation for numbers in .csv file

I m loading data from .csv file say: Item Master Data.
Our requirement is if customer sends item number as 0022 or 22 or 0001 or 1, we have to save & show same way.
Let us suppose customer send us data with item number u2018001u2019 but as he makes .csv file, I get as u20181u2019 and not u2018001u2019, So I could load as u20181u2019.
But if we rename customeru2019s csv file as .txt. And then open it in Excel with Item Number column as Text, we get '001'.
But every day we can't do it manually for every file, Pls let me know if you find any solution on this.....

Did you try what i said? try this in dev.create a dummy item infoobject of type char and build a flatfile datasource only with this infoobject. Use your CSV file. In the file delete all columns except item and try to preview and see whether leading zeros are visible? If you are able see 00 in .txt format then this should work. Try and let me know.
