When you create a DTS, Essbase creates a Generation Name, which has to be unique in the outline. • Issue setting up eFax on HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One "Problem connecting to internet"

    I'm having an issue setting up eFax on my new HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One. I am following the on-screen instructions and receive an error "Problem connecting to internet" when trying to register the account. The ePrint service is working, and I can use the facebook app on the printer so it seems to be connecting to the internet. I am uncertain how to resolve the issue.

    Let's set a static IP address and external DNS for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
    - Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
    - Click 'Apply'.
    Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
    After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

    i need help with a second hand iphone i purchased recently,i am having issues setting it up as it has is requesting for the icloud account that was used by the previous user

    Sorry.
    The iPhone is of no use until/unless the previous owner removes it from their account.
    You will need to find the prior owner or return the iPhone.

  • Having issue setting up email account on the iphone.

    having issue setting up email account on the iphone.  Going into settings mail, contacts, calendars...it goes back to the welcome screen.  How do I delete all email accounts and set up from scratch?

    I was having the exact same issue.  It was driving me crazy.  Just as a fluke, I tried logging in to my wife's account on the verizon.net website to se if I had a bad password or something.  As soon as I logged in on my computer, her account verified & installed on her iphone.  I have no idea why, but it worked.

  • Issues setting negative current on a KEPCO BOP 36-12D

    First thanks in advance for any adivce on this. I'm pretty new to labview.  I am trying to set a current remotely on a Kepco BOP 36-12. Manually the power supply works fine, and I have no issues setting a positive current, but the issue comes in setting a negative current. When I switch the voltage set point to negative I can set a current down to -5 amps, anything lower than -5 amps hits the voltage limit for a reason that I can't figure out.  Thank you again!
    Attachments:
    kepco alone2.vi ‏15 KB

    I have not worked with the Kepco BOP since the mid 90's, but we must have had 10 or so test set each with 6 BOP to create 3 phase current and voltage.
    As I recall they are nothing more than a power amplier and will follow the signal you supply within its limit. +/- its rails.
    We did not control them directly with LabVIEW. We controled them via standard function generators with LabVIEW.
    Is you problem with the setup of the BOP or is it with the device between the LabVIEW and the BOP.
    Can't tell what the missing subVI are doing from the VI you posted.

  • IPhone 3GS 32gb - iOS4.0.1 - iTunes 9.2.1.4 - Sync issues / Set up as new

    Hello.
    I've had issues with my iPhone ever since I upgraded from iOS 3.1.3 to iOS 4 (and subsequently iOS4.0.1), to be more precise, my issues are with syncing my phone.
    When I upgraded to iOS4, I had an error and had to restore my iPhone while upgrading.
    Ever since that happened, every other day when I connect my iPhone to my iTunes, it is not properly recognized and I get the option to set up as new or restore from backup.
    90% of the time, restoring from a backup doesn't work and whether or not it works, afterwards iTunes forgot which apps/music/photos/videos/etc I wanted to sync, which means every time it happens, not only do I lose all SMS messages and App data, I also have to reselect the apps, videos and music I want to sync from scratch.
    It gets annoying now and I've tried several of the common solutions.
    - Uninstall/reinstall of iTunes, making sure I have the most common version.
    - chosing another USB port
    - reset all iPhone settings
    - reset all iPhone settings and wiping the phone content.
    I also cleaned up my App-library in which I noticed I had several duplicate apps ( for example: ExampleApp and ExampleApp.1.0.1 ).
    Nothing works and I'm getting frustrated over it. I don't lose my contacts because of the Outlook sync I have, nor mails because they are an imap account, but having a password-keeping app like 1Password which loses its data every other day is rather annoying.
    Is there anything else I can try?
    Does anyone else experience such issues?
    I cannot make Genius-appointments, as there is no Applestore anywhere near where I live in Germany. I could of course try and contact my phone-company but I am guessing they will direct me at the manufacturer.

    I had the problem where I got an unknown error when upgading from 3.1.3 to 4.0.1 last night. It put my phone into recovery & said that I had to restore it. Tried to twice but I still kept getting the unknown error message. Wasn't until I restarted my computer that it let me restore.
    All of my music, videos, contacts, etc are fine. But I found that none of my apps were restored to the phone. So I had to go back through & manually drag each one back onto the iPhone in iTunes and then re-sync it. But now none of the apps will load or open. I have tried switching the phone off & back on a number of times but it hasn't helped.
    Next I am going to try to restore again & see if that helps. From what I understand, the apps should have also been restored from the previous backup. Am not sure what happened in my case though

  • Issue setting up iview - Need help

    Hi,
    I'm setting up an iview to surface a SAP BW report through SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s)
    I've tested the iview with the following value in the "BEx Web Application Query String" property of the iview
    and am able to view my BW report in the portal iview as expected
    CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=Z_CCA_UK_FIB_OPEX_TOTAL&VAR_NAME_1=ZPERRESP&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=W123456
    I now want to use a variable so that the VAR_VALUE_EXT_1 property of the url is generated at runtime
    The VAR_VALUE_EXT_1 property is the user's login id (which must be uppercased for the BW report) so my url now becomes
    CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=Z_CCA_UK_FIB_OPEX_TOTAL&VAR_NAME_1=ZPERRESP&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=<User.userID[UPR_CASE]>
    The above however fails to give me a report.
    On debugging the url at the report end I can see that
    &VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=<User.userID[UPR_CASE]> is being presented to the report rather than the user's actual login id
    being substituted at run time as expected
    I'm using the information here
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/36/5e3842134bad04e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    as a guide but am unable to get my report to work with the runtime url parameter substitution
    Has anyone come across this before and have a solution?
    Thanks in advance
    Krishna

    Hello,
         It sounds like you have almost everything set up but the vlan tagging on the ports. You will need to have inter-vlan routing disable which it seems like you have already done (enabling this feature will allow vlans to talk to one another). You may need to take a screen shoot of how everything is set up under L2 switch. Make sure all the ports are set to untagged and set to access port, you will need to put VLAN 1 on ports 1 and 2 and VLAN 2 on ports 3 and 4. As long as all the ports are set to access ports and untagged you should be fine at this point.
    If you are still having issues take some screen shoots so we can check and see how it is set up.
    Edit: while looking at the admin guide I see they are not called access ports. Guess its been a while since I've checked out a RVS4000.
    Hope that helps!
    Thanks,

  • Issue setting chart title styles.

    Hello all,
    For some reason I am having an issue with setting underline and color fill for the title.
    -fx-font-size: 12px;
    -fx-underline: true;
    -fx-fill: red;
    the font size works, but the other 2 do not.  When in scene builder and this is put under "Style" I have to click .chart > .chart-title > -.text and it will switch the font size, but wont do anything else.
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks,
    ~KZ

    I made a styleSheet and it worked, not too sure why it isn't working with setStyle, but hopefully someone can explain .

  • Issue Setting Paths For Sickbeard

    Hi again everyone.
    Man I am having no end of trouble with my system at the moment. At first I had issues with SABnzbd but finally got it sorted but the thing that I am having a lot of trouble with at the moment is sickbeard. I only installed sickbeard this week from AUR.
    I already have a heap of tv shows that I want to add but I am unable to set the path to them or even add a new show and set the path to there.
    I want to set the path to /home/media/video/TVShows which is on my LVM but I can't get it set. I have even set the permissions at one point to 777 to try and get it to write there but it just won't.
    [media@media ~]$ ls -l / | grep home
    drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Sep 21 2010 home
    [media@media ~]$ ls -l /home | grep media
    drwxrwx--- 39 media users 4096 Nov 5 16:42 media
    [media@media ~]$ ls -l /home/media | grep video
    drwxrw-rw- 8 media users 103 Nov 5 02:22 video
    [media@media ~]$ ls -l /home/media/video | grep TVShows
    drwxrwxr-x 26 sickbeard users 4096 Nov 2 23:02 TVShows
    [media@media ~]$
    I'm just not sure how to solve this one and am hoping someone can help me get it solved.

    Yes.
    In server.xml (under the config dir of the oc4j installation) there is an application tag for each web application installed. One parameter for the tag is path, which can be set to anywhere on the filesystem.

  • Help please: Issue setting up collecting payments using Pay Pal

    Our form is created, our Pay PAL account is created and banking info confirmed.  Pay Pal account was registered and permissions granted.
    Defined the purchased filelds(1) tied to total amount due...and added a fixed 2.00 handling charge.  Basically everything appears okay.
    When I do the test the submit button is changed to proceed to checkout(and i see mc, visa, discover logos as well), but instead of going to screen where I can enter Credit card information it goes to pay pal login screen for our account.  Something is obviouslly set up wrong.  Can you help me with what could be the issue?  I was hoping to finish form setup soon.

    Hi;
    I would be happy to take a look.  You can share your form with me following these instructions http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2462 with [email protected]
    I don't' know what exactly you are seeing on the Paypal page, but the correct behavior after clicking "Proceed to checkout" is to be taken to a Paypal login page, it sounds like it is working correctly
    Since you are on your own computer where you sign into Paypal it would show your Paypal account/login like this:
    In the upper right it shows the amount of the transaction and if you sign in with a different Paypal account (can't sign in with the same account you registered) it will continue with the transaction, alternatively to test you can click the "Check out as guest" next to "Don't have an account" where you would enter payment information.
    If something else is happening your can share your form and I'll take a look.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Issues setting up WRT54G

    I have Verizon DSL, and want to set up my Linksys so I can finally use my laptop the way it was meant to be used.
    However, every time I try to set up my Linksys router, I have issues, and can't connect.
    I broke down, and called Verizon. They walked me through setting my modem to bridge mode, and told me to set the router to automatically configure itself. (DHCP)
    That configuration didn't work, and they instructed me to call Linksys tech support. ..who offered no help on the whole thing, just wasted my time.
    Is it just me, or is setting this up with Verizon usually this troublesome?
    Anyone have any fixes they could throw my way?

    Do me a favor and hardwire your router to your PC, Can you log into the web utility??? Type "192.168.1.1" default username and password are "admin" if it still won't let you in leave the username empty and put admin for password.
    Also disable your wireless card well doing this, Go to start click run and type "cmd" enter in command prompt type "ipconfig" what does it tell you/does it work?
    I am guessing you updated the firmware on the modem so you might want to do the same for your router here.
    And well you are at it update your wireless card drivers.
    GoodLuck
    Matt

  • Having issues setting custom 404 page...

    Hey all,
    I'm not sure if I'm missing a step, I created a custom 404 page ("404.html") and it's in the root of the website folder.  Under Websites (tab) > Server Website, I click Advanced Settings and set the custom error page to "/404.html", yet entering, say, website.com/abc, still brings me to the generic Apache 404 page.
    I also tried specifying the 404 page as "/404" and "404.html", and I tried adding it to the index file list.. No dice.
    I'm sure I could do it manually via the .htaccess file, but before I do that (and before I inquire about doing that), I want to make sure I'm doing everything I should be doing through the Server App.
    Any ideas?

    Okay, I ended up creating and using a .htaccess file to override Apache's default settings, since I had issues saving changes to the .conf files in Library/Server/Web/Config/apache2, it's very locked down, and for good reason of course.
    For those with the same issue,
    0.5) In OS X Server app's Website settings, click "Advanced Settings" and check the "allow overrides using .htaccess files" box.
    1) Create a new document in your favorite text editor.  I used TextWrangler, free from the App Store.
    2) Copy the text
    ErrorDocument 404 /pathtofile
    and change /pathtofile to the path to your custom 404 page, which can be HTML or PHP.
    3) Save the file as ".htaccess" ideally into the root of your website folder directly, because the dot at the beginning makes it hidden, so you can't save it to the desktop and move it later (unless you show hidden files via that Terminal command)
    4) Done!  You don't have to restart Apache or OS X Server or OS X for the change to take effect, just go to yoursite.com/someRandomURLthatDoesn'tExist and watch the magic.

  • [Solved] Issue setting HDMI audio to default

    Hoping I'm not overlooking something very simple here.
    I have a Radeon HD4650 in my HTPC which I'm trying to run the audio through the HDMI output. I've set the kernel parameter "radeon.audio=1" and am able to hear sound through HDMI when I specify it manually within each application (for example XBMC or VLC going to Audio->Audio Device->HD-Audio Generic, HDMI 0 HDMI Audio Output).
    From there I tried to set the HDMI audio as default by following the wiki here:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Al … sound_card
    And here:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Al … s_not_work
    I've tried several combinations within my .asoundrc and asound.conf including:
    pcm.!default {
    type plug
    slave.pcm {
    @func getenv
    vars [ ALSAPCM ]
    default "hw:0,3"
    defaults.pcm.card 0
    defaults.pcm.device 3
    defaults.ctl.card 0
    pcm.!default "plughw:0,3"
    ctl.!default "plughw:0,3"
    pcm.dmixer {
    type dmix
    ipc_key 2048
    slave {
    pcm "hw:0,3"
    period_size 512
    buffer_size 4096
    rate 48000
    format S16_LE
    bindings {
    0 0
    1 1
    pcm.!default {
    type plug
    slave.pcm dmixer
    pcm:iec958 {
    type plug
    slave.pcm dmixer
    pcm.!default {
    type plug
    slave {
    pcm "hw:0,3"
    ctl.!default {
    type hw
    card 0
    Most of these I just copied from the wiki or various forum posts I found and edited the proper device in. These appear to work, as the HDMI card shows up as default in alsamixer (I've made sure everything is unmuted here), but selecting the default channel in VLC still results in no sound, not even from the built in audio (I can change the output to the HDMI option and it works fine).
    I've also tried this which results in no sound:
    aplay -D plughw:0,3 /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
    Is there something I'm missing here?
    Here's my aplay -l:
    **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****

    A quick note here: I set this option in /etc/modprobe.d/:
    options snd_hda_intel index=-2
    This moved the HDMI card up to device 0 instead of 1. I've tried everything above as well with plughw:1,3 when that was the HDMI device.

    I seemed to have solved this by following the advice in the Gentoo wiki:
    https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Radeon#Audio_over_HDMI
    pcm.!default {
    type plug
    slave.pcm "hdmi"
    Those four lines in my /etc/asound.conf work. I'm not sure what the difference is between specifying "hdmi" vs the hardware device "hw:0,3".
    I still get no sound with `aplay -D plughw:0,3 /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav` however, `aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav` works now. `aplay -D hdmi /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav` results in an error/warning:

  • Having issues setting up the use of two iTunes libraries on one Apple TV.  I can set up my iTunes library as I can turn home sharing on from my own computer, however, my fiance only has an iPad with home sharing turned on and it does not find his account?

    I have a new Apple TV which I am struggling to set up with both mine and my fiances music.  I have a laptop, but my fiance only has an ipad and it only seems to sync my music library from my iTunes account.  He has homesharing turned on on his iPad but the Apple TV does not recognise his iPad.  It seems from the help that I have read online that homesharing works when you use the same itunes account, is not possible to be able to use two different itunes libraries with two different accounts (and only one computer)?
    Thanks

    Both libraries would need to have been setup to use home sharing with the same Apple ID in order for that to work.
