This is very common and generic problem, but normally, this might occur when file cwallet.sso is not found, either at:
${domain.home}/config/fmwconfig/bootstrap/cwallet.sso
or from:
${domain.home}/config/fmwconfig/cwallet.sso
You can check whether you can get this file from any back-up tape or archives .. also make sure that the user who is owner of the WLS process, has adequate rights on the location of the .sso file.

    Hi,
    Few comments here...
    1) Seems your environment is not setup correctly but that is not the big cause here.....
    2) This one is important, it seems that you installed weblogic using a different account and are trying to run it from a different account.
    So the account with which you are trying to run weblogic does not have proper permission on
    MW_HOME\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\fmwconfig\bootstrap\cwallet.sso
    Right click on the file and go in properties ..
    Enable full control,modify,Read and execute,read and write permissions for the user you are trying to start weblogic and apply it.
    if this simple steps doesnt work, please enable more logging by adding "-Djava.security.debug=jpspolicy" to startup option and grab more details.
    Good Luck let me know if this works.

  • Forms and Reports in Weblogic Server 12c?

    I'm trying to determine if Forms and Reports 11g are supported in Weblogic Server 12c.  I have found numerous questions from years ago indicating that that was not the case then, but I also found a few posts that indicated that this support would be added in the future.  I am unable to find any recent posts to confirm this nor do I see anything in the certification matrices that lead me to believe that this is a supported configuration.  Can anyone give a definitive answer?

    I want to call a report from an oracle form button press trigger. For This I need to know the my report server name
    You can find the name of the standalone reports server in $ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/ReportsServerComponent.
    Or you can use Fusion Middleware Control Console, normally at  http://<machine name>:7001/em

  • Weblogic server 12c managed server not starting

    Hi All,
    I am a newbie in weblogic. I downloaded the weblogic server 12c and installed in development mode in my Mac OSX 10.8. I am able to create the clusters and added the managed servers in it. I started the node manager attached to the machine where the managed servers are situated. Now the admin server is working, but when i try to start the managed server, it is showing TASK IN PROGRESS and not getting started. When i checked the logs, there were no logs added.
    Please help me out.
    Thanks in advance
    Arjun

    Arjun,
    Please give more details how are you trying to starting the managed Server.
    1. Are you starting from the Admin console?
    If yes, what is the status message in the console? Do you see any errors in the admin server console?
    Did you check if the Nodemanager is reachable from the admin console ?
    2. Are you starting from the command prompt ?
    For eg. startManagedWeblogic.cmd ManagedServer_name
    Please explain.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya

  • Oracle Weblogic Server 12c, issue with deploying the war created from Wavemaker tool

    Hi
    Recently, I am facing an issue with Oracle Web logic Server 12c, on deploying the war file (created from Wavemaker tool) to running Web logic server, it shows deployment health status is OK and web application is Active. But when I visit the home page of the application, it is unable to load the javascript files in the context and I am getting below error. Please you can check these errors in the Inspect window of the browser :
    Here are the errors on hitting index page after deploying the war file to Web Logic.
    http://localhost:7001/TestWarProject
    http://localhost:7001/TestWarProject/lib/runtimeLoader.js  404 (Not Found) index.html:39
    http://localhost:7001/TestWarProject/config.js  404 (Not Found) index.html

    (anonymous function) project.a.js:1
    Uncaught ReferenceError: wm is not defined index.html:89
    (anonymous function) index.html:89
    But when I exploded the war file and copy the whole application in the auto deploy folder and restart the server, it is working fine.
    Can you please what is the issue not setting context path properly on deploying the war on the fly?
    Has anyone found any appropriate solution or workaround? Can you please share?
    Thanks in advance for helping me out.

  • WebLogic Server 12c (12.1.1) start fail with null keystore name

    Hi, I just installed WebLogic server following the instruction at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E22289_01/html/821-1274/installing-app-dev.html#scrolltoc but when I try to start it, I got "opening of file based keystore failed". I turn on debug with startWebLogic.sh -Djava.security.debug=jpspolicy and found the error "null keystore name".
    Can anybody tell me how to fix that?
    Thanks very much in advance

  • Fetal error while installing weblogic server 12c on windows 64 bit

    Dear all,
    i have windows7 64bit, oracle 11g database, and my java version as i enter the JAVA -VERSION command at the cmd prompt is below
    C:\Users\Administrator>java -version
    java version "1.4.2_06"
    Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_06-b03)
    Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_06-b03, mixed mode)i want to install weblogic server generic wls1211_generic.jar.
    when i enter the command
    java -Xmx1024m -jar wls1211_generic.jar
    or
    java -Xmx1206m -jar wls1211_generic.jar
    it try to open the installation but give a fatal error like below
    A fatal error occured, this application will terminate.
    any idea?

    Hi,
    i did the same as you said, i.e i add this path to the PATH variable C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0
    add the bin directory to this path, so you should have C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0\bintest it in the command prompt with java -version and it should prompt you java 1.7
    also be sure the generic jar is not corrupted.
    and one more thing you should use this command to install with generic jar:
    java -jar wls1211_generic.jar
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/doc.1211/e24492/guimode.htm#autoId3

    Note that you have to use corresponding version number when using Fusion Middleware, such as SOA Suite.
    This means when you are working with SOA Suite 11.1.1.5 you have to use WebLogic 10.3.5, when using SOA Suite 11.1.1.6 you must use WebLogic 10.3.6.
    The last numbers correspond. Also WebLogic 12c is a Java EE6 application server and all the WebLogic 10.3 are Java EE5. You can imagine that it might
    get you into trouble when you are using software that is build (and tested) for a WebLogic 10.3 Server and run that on 12c. Sometimes it goes
    alright sometimes it does not, so it is better use the version for which it is meant to run on.

  • 1z0-599 Oracle weblogic server 12c Essentials

    Hello there, Can some please answer below questions. I found these practice questions over internet and I am so confused with the questions as i don't know correct answers. Please answer them if you know any. Thanks
    You completed the development of a new application and want to create a new domain in a new environment for functional testing. You want to have the same settings for your new domain as your old domain, with the option of changing the configuration in the new target environment. Which two actions should you execute?
    A. Use the introspect () command in WLST to gather the configuration information from the original domain.
    B. Use pack/unpack to transfer the domain from one machine to another.
    C. Create a domain template from the original domain using the Domain Template Builder and use the Configuration Wizard to create a new domain from the template.
    D. Use the Admin Console of the original domain to create a domain template from the original domain and use the Configuration Wizard to create a new domain from the template.
    Identify three features of WebLogic that provide value above and beyond a simple Java EE container.
    A. Active GridLink for RAC
    B. support for enterprise Web Services standards beyond Java EE specification
    C. Integration with Enterprise Manager
    D. market leading performance
    E. Java EE6 Specification Support
    F. Java SE 7 support
    A WebLogic team is developing an enterprise application from their desktop WebLogic environment. All development systems are connected to the same eight data sources for testing. As a WebLogic Administrator supporting this team, which two actions should you perform to free the developers from creating and configuring all the data sources on their desktop WebLogic environment?
    A. Provide the team with a WebLogic domain template with the testing data sources configured.
    B. Provide the development team with a preconfigured domain archive file.
    C. Provide the development team with the [datasource] -jdbc.xml file to overwrite their local copy.
    D. Create the data sources on behalf each of the developer.
    E. Provide the development team with WLST scripts to create and configure the testing data
    Which action cannot be done in a scripted, automated fashion using WLST? Select (one) option.
    A. collecting run-time metrics and sending an email if user-defined thresholds are exceeded
    B. configuring Clusters and Managed Servers
    C. starting Managed Servers using the Node Manager
    D. installing WebLogic binaries on a remote machine using Node Manager
    E. configuring a Managed Server on a remote machine where the Node Manager is installed but no other Managed Servers from the domain exist.
    A customer is developing a custom application that involves a multistep provisioning process for a new account. There is a custom Java client application that is generating multiple JMS messages
    as part of the process and sending them to the WebLogic tier where they are processed. Which three steps must you take to implement the solution to allow for scalability and parallel
    processing of multiple simultaneous provisioning requests while ensuring messages for an individual process are not delivered out of order?
    A. Update the client application that is creating the JMS messages to use Unit of Work.
    B. Configure a WebLogic Cluster for Distributed JMS.
    C. Update the client application that is creating the JMS messages to use Unit of Order.
    D. Enable XA Transactions on the JMS Connection Factory used by the client application.
    E. Enable Load Balancing on the JMS connection factory used by the client application.

    You might have used the nubers for the questions.
    The question no. 1 have two actions so the answer could be C, not the two answers So using WLST templates is is correct because pack/unpack is just for expanding existing domain, In the exam it is showing only radio button then I concluded this
    Question answer is A, B, C. because any JEE container supports JEE6 or 7 market leading performance is not really provide the value.
    Question 3 answer would be E, each developer have WLST script for configuring and testing data it would be easy to maintain and there will be free from conflicts with other developer changes.
    Question 4. answer is D. Because using WLST we cannot provide provision for install any binaries.
    Question 5. talking about order so the answer C refering to UOO Ref: WebLogic Advanced JMS: Unit-of-Order - YouTube

  • How to disable authentication for weblogic server

    Hi expert,
    I have a web application deployed on weblogic server 12c. And I have a client which connects to the web application.  The client will authenticate with server with digest authentication (challenge\response). We use the default authentication in weblogic server and the authentication is done by weblogic server. And it works fine.
    However, I want to run a performance testing to replay all client requests including the requests for authentication. Since it's challenge/response authentication mechanism, the original requests can not pass authentication and weblogic server replies 401. I want to know is there any way to disable weblogic authentication so that the authentication passes when I replay my original request?
    Thanks very much!
    Regards,
    Yan

    You can disable the security of the application in the web.xml. Here there is a security-constraint configured that tells WebLogic what to do, for example,
    <security-constraint>
    <web-resource-collection>
    <web-resource-name>All</web-resource-name>
    <url-pattern>/faces/*</url-pattern>
    </web-resource-collection>
    <auth-constraint>
    <role-name>MANAGER</role-name>
    <role-name>EMPLOYEE</role-name>
    </auth-constraint>
    <user-data-constraint>
    <transport-guarantee>NONE</transport-guarantee>
    </user-data-constraint>
    </security-constraint>
    If you put the security-constraint in comments, you can access the application, without authentication (note that the application itself probably uses the authentication in order to set certain things, so I do not if this is going to work).
