Issue when switching rooms in spark but does not exist in mx namespace?

I have a Flex SDK 4.0 application that I have declared with <s:Application. In this application I have 2 rooms, that have two different ConnectSession components associated with each as well as seperate Pod's with seperate shareID's for each. (nothing in the two rooms overlap). I also have 2 buttons that switch between room1 and room2 when either button is clicked.
my issue is that using the <s:Application declaration for my app..then transitioning from room2 BACK to room1 (transitioning from room1 to room2 works fine), gives me this error:

However, when I change the application to <mx:Application, and then attempted the transition again... BACK to room1 from room2.. everything works FINE! This may be a simple issue so please bare with =). Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this issue with spark and how to fix it so that I CAN use spark as my application namespace? Thanks in advance!

Wow, that's an interesting one - seems as though the sharedCursorPane has
some hard requirement that the base App be mx (this isn't terribly
surprising, considering it was built with the mx components, but it's still
a bug). Can you link against the source code (provided for player 10 now!),
and change that line in sharedCursorPane :
From :
Application(mx.core.Application.application).stage.removeEventListener(Mouse
Event.MOUSE_MOVE, onMouseMove);
To :
stage.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE, onMouseMove);
and see if that works for you? I can't honestly tell why we're using the
line that was there... It's possible this was a workaround for another
issue. Anyhow, if you wouldn't mind being the guinea pig for this one, we
can get to the bottom of it.

I found the answer just after posted this. Thanks to a user named CloudWalker. Solution is to go in AppStore, View Account under "Store" Menu and unhide any purchases.

Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. See if that clears the glitch.

Field ZZBUDAT is delta-relevant, but does not exist in the field list

I have created a Generic DataSource on a View.Now there is a situation ,i need to add a Date field form some other table.
So i have enhanced the datasource now that date is coming in my datasource.
But when i tried to make delta on that date field its showing error-
Field ZZBUDAT is delta-relevant, but does not exist in the field list
Message no. R8279
Diagnosis
The DataSource uses field ZZBUDAT for specifying the delta. In the DataSource field list, however, the field does not occur
Now how i can make this field dalta relevant?

I think the message in SAP is quite clear....
If the field ZZBUDAT does not exist in the view ... how do you expect the datasource to know which records have changed...?
The delta relevant field SHOULD be in the view - else there is no way the extractor can identify the changed records ...
Please remember that the Generic extractor is a simple select statement with a where clause on the delta relevant field and nothing else ... if you want the changed on field to come from another table - then you need to write a function module extractor to do this...
The order of processing is that - the view fields are processed first - then the enhanced fields are processed followed by the user exits...

I face a similar issue,Task description contains an element which is available in container, but during Check, it throws below error.

The name "Pi" does not exist in the namespace "clr-namespace:PressureVessels".

Pi is the name of a class.
I made some major modification to the program in VS 2013, then after transferring the program to another PC with VS 2012 running, I am getting many errors that says:
The name "ClassName" does not exist in the namespace "clr-namespace:PressureVessels".

Cleaning removes all the stuff out your bin.
If all this stuff is in the one solution then that's equivalent to manually deleting it.
If your app is composed from separate dll then I maybe some versioning issue.
If not and you can't reproduce the issue on your dev machine...
Tricky.
You would have mentioned it if you were putting stuff in the GAC.
Could be a sln or csproj issue.
They occasionally corrupt.
What else.
How did you get your code onto the other pc?
Is it contained within one folder with no external references beyond .net framework ones?
If you did something a bit dodgy with your references a dll might be coming from somewhere which is on your pc and not on this other one.
The only other advice I can think of is to step away for a bit and do something else.
It's all too easy to get into a flat spin when something drastic happens and one has no idea wtf is going on.

we are using VS 2013. i have created new build definition and run that created build its getting failed and showing error message as "The type or namespace name 'VisualStudio' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft' (are you missing an assembly
reference?)" and "The type or namespace name 'WinComboBox, UITestControl, WinTitleBar.....etc' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)". in the error log is showing the error number are "error CS0234
& error CS0246".
Actually i have created build for automation execution from MTM lab environment. i have to assign the build to the test plan. once the build is passed , i will assign to the test plan and run with automation options.
if i build the solution its getting successfully build. but when i run the created build definition it show the error message's.
Could you guide me how to resolve the above error's ?

It means your project cannot find the proper reference to your type "Visual Studio" from the namespace Microsoft.
May I ask this question, does your build definition means something like the following blog described?

If that is the problem, may I ask whether your build agent is in the same machine where you build your application?
The build agent will first search for the reference from its local GAC and if it cannot find it, the error like you said will reports. Please manually build your project from your build agent machine to see the result, or install Visual Studio to your build
agent machine. In that way I think your problem may fixed.

XAML DataContext: name does not exist in the namespace

I have created a new C# WPF Application project in VS 2013, named dataconfigtest. The namespace is dataconfigtest.
I add a new, public class named "TestDataClass". It is also in the dataconfigtest namespace.
I add the following code to the XAML file (MainWindow.xaml) in the <Window> section:
xmlns:local="clr-namespace:dataconfigtest"
I then define the datacontext as follows:

</Window.DataContext>
When I build the project, I receive the following error:
The name "TestDataClass" does not exist in the namespace "clr-namespace:dataconfigtest"
I have tried:
closing/opening VS
removing/adding the project
creating a fresh project
cleaning and rebuilding
including the assembly information in the XAML "local" namespace definition
Note that I can set the datacontext in the C# code-behind. It's only in the XAML that I have problems.

EDIT: I opened the same VS project file on a different computer and it worked. I will try repairing my installation of VS.
EDIT2: I have repaired the installation and rebooted. Same issue. I will try re-installing VS.

Build Error : The name "LocalizedStrings" does not exist in the namespace

I have localised my app to 5 languages, it builds and runs perfectly in Silverlight, but when i open the project in Blend to make changes
it shows the following error

Since it is bound, i need to build it, only then the text is visible :(

I think the not implemented exceptions could be causing the issue. I would implement this functions also

Did you try to build the application (Project->Build in Visual Studio) ? If the error doesn't go away then and you have no other compilation errors (if you do you need to fix these first), you should replace "FolderExplorer" with the namespace
in which the Folder class resides. If you haven't explicitly declared a namespace, you will find the name of the default namespace under Project->Properties->Root namespace. Copy the value from this text box to your XAML:
xmlns:my="clr-namespace:FolderExplorer"
The default namespace is usually the same as the name of the application by default so if your application is called "FolderExplorer" you should be able to build it.
If you cannot make it work then please upload a reproducable sample of your issue to OneDrive and post the link to it here for further help.

You're testing this too early. You haven't yet finished writing code that your current code depends on. Feeddata.cpp won't build, so you can't use the data object that hasn't yet been created.
In particular, feeddata.cpp doesn't build since it has many references to items which get added in later steps.
For example, TextHelper is added in part 5 and App::RemoveFeed is added in part 10.
You'll need to either wait until you've implemented those before you test or comment out the calls to the unimplemented features until they're done. TextHelper looks like it adds quite a bit and you're almost there, but you can probably get away with commenting
out the calls to RemoveFeed and GetTitlesFromUri for now.

Error on new windows 8.1 project: The type or namespace name 'Foundation' does not exist in the namespace

I upgraded to win 8.1 and VS 2013. I created a new Windows 8.1 C# grid project and tried to compile it and I'm seeing the following error: Error 1 The type or namespace name 'Foundation' does not exist in the namespace [my namespace](are

The errors are in navigationhelper.cs line 59

Windows phone and mvc projects are working fine and I've installed all the updates and even tried to fix vs 2013.
Any help Is greatly appreciated.

I did some more investigation and noticed that if I create an app with a "." in the name then this problem occurs. For example create a windows store project with the default name "App1": this will compile.
However if I name the project "App1.Forms" to correspeond with the default namespace I want, then this problem occurs. Still investigating but anyone should be able to repro it with that step.

I am trying to compile my SharePoint 2010 solution(VS2010) in VS2013 to deploy in SP2013, i have removed all old 14 ref and added 15 ref for microsoft.SharePoint, office.server and other assemblies.

Hi,
Just confirm that Target Frame work has been changed to 4.5 or not, if not changed it to 4.5 and give it a try. Then also it gives error then check the SP reference, dll properties and check its version(it should be 15.0.).
PS:-You can fine target framework under project properties->Application-> Target Framework.
