Issue while creating Purchase order (ME21N)

Hi Friends,
Hope U Have a Good Day...
My issue is while creating purchase order , I enter vendor and in org.data tab I enter Pur.Org,company code and purchase group. After entering these values if I check in communication tab, the sales person and telephone fields are filled with corresponding data.
Now my requirement is after entering Pur.Org, Company code and purchase group, and if I go and check in Communication tab, these two fields ( sales person, telephone ) should be blank.
Please help me in this issue...

Hi Ganesh,
This is being fetched frm the vendor master and if u wan this field to be blank
Then u hav to remove those data frm the vendor master .
Put tat vendor, comp code n purchase org
Then select pur org data alon - >chk in purch data
u can find tat sales person n telp no being appeared in the PO
lemme know if u hav any prob in getting tat .

    I investigated this recently in our company and gave this answer:
    A deletion flag does not restrict anything. It is just an indicator to tell SAP that you want this record to be deleted with the next archiving run.
    The archiving run then checks if a deletion is possible or not.
    So you can set such deletion flags long time in advance, even at a moment where you still have inventory.
    To block materials from beeing used in business transactions, usually the material and sales status are used. But these statuses can only be set at overall, plant and sales organisation level.  
    In some transactions SAP issues warning messages if a material has a deletion flag. This messages could be customized to be an error and prevent any business. However, this type of restriction is not designed for our machine, as we use the material and sales status.
    Anyhow, there is no message for valuation types that have a deletion flag in procurement area.
    There is one for goods receipts (but only for a certain industry solution that is not used by us)
    There is one for deliveries ( VL 211 ).
    The valuation types are defaulted from customizing to the transaction e.g. purchase order. Or from info record to the PO. So a standard purchase order gets valuation type  ABC , while an internal order (production) gets the DEF.  Usually there should not be a need to change this valuation type manually.
    So the only solution is to archive the material master at valuation type level.
    But I guess, you already have POs with that wrong valuation type, which means you have to archive the POs first. It you have already batches with wrong valuation type, then thy have to be archived as well before a material can be archived.
    And finally if you had stock in current year, then you can archive your material in year after next year, as SAP archives only materials that have no stock in current and previous year.

    Aboue condition type not mainatained inthe caluation schame ,which you assigend to vendorand purchasing organization

  • Price not picking while creating purchase order

    hi all,
    i have created a pricing procedure and assigned to the vedor, but while creating purchase order the material price is not picking up.if i use the standard one the price is picking up. can anyone explaing any setting iam missing.

    In your pricing procedure
    For the condition type Automatic Gross price PB00, you have assigned am Access sequence.
    <b>Access sequence</b>: An access sequence is a search strategy by means of which the system searches for valid records in various condition tables. It consists of one or more accesses. The sequence of accesses controls the priority of the individual condition records among each other. Through the accesses, the system is told where to look first and where to look next for a valid condition record in each case.
    Once the pricing procedure triggers, System looks for the valid condition recorrd for the condition type PB00 as per the priority listed in Access sequence.
    Example: If purchase info record is the first priority and you maintained the Info record then system picks the price from Info record into PO.
    If no valid condition record found then it will trigger PBXX Manual Gross price condition in PO and ask to enter the price manually.This is called condition technique.
    So check whether you maintained the Condition record for PB00 or not?

         The current ABAP "SAPLMCS4" program had to be terminated because the
         ABAP processor detected an internal system error.
    What can you do?
         Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
         To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
         administrator.
        Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
        at and manage termination messages, and you can also
        keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
        An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
        The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND', was not
         caught in
        procedure "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
         clause.
        Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
        exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
        The reason for the exception is:
        On account of a branch in the program

        Are changes currently being made to the program "SAPLMCS4"?
        Has the correct program been entered in table TSTC for Transaction "ME21N "?
        If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
        find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
        If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "LOAD_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND" "CX_SY_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND"
        "SAPLMCS4" or "LMCS4F10"
        "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL"
        If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
        notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
           To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
           Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
           Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
        after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
        program: The source code of the program
           In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
        Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
        4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
        actions and input led to the error.
        The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
        "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL" "(FORM)", or its possible occurrence must be declared in the
        RAISING clause of the procedure.
        To prevent the exception, note the following:

    Solution
    Please do the following.
    For customers upgrading to AFS 5.0 only:
    > Rebuild Infostructure S433.
    - Goto transaction: OLI3 (Statistical Set up of Infostructures)
    - Info structure to be compile: S433
    - Specify the 'Name of run'.
    - Execute.
    > Please also follow the instructions given below.
    For both Upgrade and Non-upgrade Customers:
    > Create the report 'ZDELS431'.
    - Transaction: SE38
    - Give Program name as ZDELS431.
    - Create (F5).
    - Title : 'Program to delete S431'.
    - Type  : 1 (Executable Program).
    - Status: T (Test Program).
    > Copy the program text from the note and paste in the program.
    > Save and activate the program.
    > Execute the report for all clients in Update mode.
      (Two check-boxes will appear: P_ALL_CL, P_UPDATE.
       Please check both of them).
    This report will delete all the references to infostructure S431.

             I am facing an issue while creating a repair order from Service Notification.
    In IW52 for service Notification , we have option of Create repair order in Action box of service notification, when i am clicking that i need to enter the sales order type.. when i am selecting standard order type KD01 or any other it is saying that
    1)Order type KD01 does not have the sales doc. identifier "repair"

    You entered an order type that is not assigned to the sales document identifier "F" or "G" = repair order.
    Procedure
    Enter an order type that has the sales document identifier "F" or "G".
    Where can we see sales document identifier in config ?
    2. I would like know is there any setting where we can give default sales order type to service notification type ..

            Thanks for your inputs. It will be great help if you can let me know the below :
    1) Diff between Repair order, spare parts order..
    2)I happened to create a service order from a sales order following IDES Model for CS -4.6C / the service order type created is SM01 is created and my sales order type is OR .. now my question is there any setting where we assign Service order type to sales order type ???
    Note :- In OIOL Tcode for SM01 Order type i have IRC Sales order document type linked ..

  • Workflow issue when create Purchase Order automaticlly based on Sales Order

    I got a problem when create purchase order automatically once the Sales Order created, the field ERNAE of the Purchase Order creatd is WF-BATCH, but we want this field to be the user log in the system, like John. Smith

    yes, i mean the PO creator.
    I just create a SO in VA01, then change the Schedule line category from CN to CP, then SAVE, then Confirm the Delivery Proposal. after all this, the PO will be created automatically by Workflow. Because when I display the PO via ME23N, it displays [Standard PO XXXXX  created by Workflow-System] on the top of the screen.
    But i do not know which workflow is trigered to create the PO. and i tried SWEL like you said, there is no record listed.
    do you have any other suggestions? thank you so much, friend.

  • Error: Automatic tick on FOC indicator while creating Purchase order

    Our client is going through one issue that when they are creating PO by ME21N,after putting PR and line item and plant,it is automatically ticking on FOC indicator and then in invoice tab the field Inv.Receipt and GR based IV  automatically gets disappeared, when we untick FOC field then it shows the Conditions tab. but we cant add any condition in PO item wise as we add any condition it again gets tick on FOC and price and tick on invoice receipt,GR based tick we have to do again.
    I have added plant in vendor master record.

    So you are talking about intra-company or inter-company stock transfer?
    Are the the shipping plant and the ordering plant in the same company or in different companies?
    Please explain a bit more detail about your process, somewhere you must have a deviation to the standard stock transfer process. I think it is one, otherwise I would have to ask why you added the plant to the vendor.

    Please check the following customizing in backend R/3 system.

    Here, please double click "K" and remove flag for fields
    "Goods receipt" and "GR non-valuated", after that, please create a new
    PO and test system behavior again.

    if tax rate not triggered in po mean, some where wrong in ur tax process , pls check the blw
    If its Taxinn procedure,
    1- check in FTXP the tax code is created towards ur tax procedure and country
    2- check in FV12 for the condition types say JMOP,JEC1 and others, whthere tax rate and validity are defined properly.
    3- for JMX1 cond type , keep its 100%
    4- check in obbg , the tax proce is assinged to ur country or not??

    I would like to ask help because when I try to save Purchase Order, error messages "There is an error in the specifications for area 04 in co. code XXXX".
    Message no. AC391
    Diagnosis
    You specified for depreciation area 04 that asset values are to be automatically posted online, and that this area is to take over book values from another area. This specification is not correct. An area that allows for online automatic posting cannot take over values from another area.
    Procedure
    Correct the specifications for area 04.
    We really need to resolve this issue as soon as possible as it blocking activities on three company codes.
    It would be a great for me if you could help undertand the cause of the error.

    This problem is more of a customizing problem but you could try the                       
    following:                                                                               
    The message AC359 states in its help text, that you are using currency                    
    types, which indicates the usage of parallel currency. This is only                       
    possible by transferring a given value from area 01 into the other area.                  
    It is not possible to change the value by another valuation.                                                                               
    As your Company Code manages parallel currencies in Asset Accounting,                     
    you must define exactly one dependent area for each area that is                          
    supposed to post automatically online to reconciliation accounts.                         
    You have to define this area to take over identical values and                            
    parameters, and use the currency type xxx, and currency xxx.                              
    The xxx denotes your parameters. In addition please look at your                          
    Company Code in FI Customizing(TA OB22). In Asset Management                              
    you have to define a depreciation area for every Parallel currency you                    
    use in FI. This depreciation area(s) must be defined as areas for                         
    Parallel curriencies(Asset Balance Online as Parallel currency)                           
    The currency of this depreciation area must be the same as the                            
    Parallel currency in the FI.                                                              
    Also check whether the IMG follow menu path is activated:                                 
    Financial Accounting->Asset Accounting->Valuation->Depreciation Areas->                   
    Definition>.  Under the Takeover Rules->Takeover From:  W/out ability to                  
    change the box under "Depreciation Rules" is activated.

  • Issue while creating an order with reference to a contract

    When I try to create an order with reference to a contract having KMATs at line item using VA01, it works fine. But when we try to record the same using SHDB, it comes out after accepting the Contract Number on the pop up screen.
    If some one can throw light as to if it the config issue or any setting that needs to be looked into?

    No special settings. This is a typical problem. SHDB (SM35, or call transaction) can be different to "normal" transaction.
    You can only follow the special sequence given by the transaction running in BDC mode (if you are using exits check on these fields: sy-binpt, sy-calld).
