Issue while doing GR before the delivery date in PO

Hello All,
I have a PO with 1 line item having delivery date or statistical delivery date as 12/31/2012
But when today I am trying to do GR system doesn't allow and throws an error "earliest possible delivery date is 12/31/2012"
Please suggest what to do?

Recently we are using the Latest GR date (Latest Possible Goods Receipt) functionality on Purchase Order but I want to know the standard Report for the same and is it possible to delete or lock or Delivery Complete of the line item automatically after the date? If yes, then please provide me the process.
My actual requirement is after Latest Possible Goods Receipt date the line item should not be show on Pending or to be delivering Qty. But in ME2* (M, N, L etc.) report it not happen.
Note:
I have checked the t-code ME80FN, but it not fill my requirements.
Actually I want to know the report for Latest GR Date (Latest Possible Goods Receipt) on purchase order in a Report. We can see the date manually on me23n-Item Detail-Delivery-Latest GR Date
Field Name- LEWED in Table EKPO but my requirement is SAP standard Report for the same.
In which report we check the latest GR date for more then 100 Purchase Order containing more then 1000 line Item and I know the Table but I am asking about only T-codes/ Reports.

Block GR if GR date before the delivery date in the PO

Dear all,
A key-user would like to avoid goods receipts to be posted if the date of the goods receipts is before the delivery date in the PO. The key-user wants to refuse systematically delivery from the supplier which is sooner than the delivery date in the PO.
For example, in the PO, the delivery date is August 7th 2010. To make a GR for this PO, the user uses MIGO, inputs the PO. As today is August 5th 2010, the GR should not be accepted by the system. How to customize that?
Another solution is to display the delivery date of the PO in MIGO so that the storehouse person can check directly the date of the delivery in the PO. That way, this person can check by itself whether the GR should be done or not.

This is standard SAP Customization.You an set message as Warning or Error message .
The customization path is MM-Purchasing-Environment Data-Define attributes of system messages.

Can we receive goods before the delivery date

Hi all
Can we receive goods before the delivery date i.e.
PO is created on 10/04/2008 and in the PO delivery date is given as 14/04/2008.
But if the vendor sends me material on 12/04/2008 system allows me to post the material.
Is there any settings to restrict GR before the delivery date.

System does not propose the delivery date based on factory calendar

Hi,
I am creating a sales order for a delivery date for this sat which is (2/22/09)
I have maintained 2 separate calendars for
1) shipping point
2) for the route
The route has a transit time of 1 day and the calendar has sat and sunday as non working.
the Shipping point has a pick/pack time of 1 day and the calendar has sat and sunday as non working
The material is available in the warehouse
Now when i create this sales order i enter the delivery date as 2/22/09, the system does not propose me the delivery date of monday (i.e 2/23/09) It accepts the 2/22/09 delivery date.
In the schedule line i do see the date as 2/22/09 only.
The delivery was created with the following dates
Picking = 2/17/09
Transportation Planning = 02/18/2009
Loading =02/18/2009
Planned GI= 02/18/2009
Delivery Date = 02/22/2009
How can the system give me the delivery date of a sunday when the calendar doesnt allow sunday as working day.
Also the route time is 1 day in transit so i am not sure why the system is proposing a 3 day transit time?

Delivery date can be any date. For instance, if your customer insisted on a Sunday delivery, you would accommodate him, regardless of any calendar.
From the delivery date, the system counts backwards USING THE FACTORY CALENDAR ASSIGNED TO THE ROUTE by the number of days in the route. You have to consult the FC assigned to your Route to determine if the GI date has been properly calculated.
From the GI date, the system counts backward Pick/pack time, using the shipping point calendar, to arrive at Material availability date.

Goods Receipt before the delivery date

I have requirement that Goods Receipt should not happen before the specifed delivery date mentioned in the Purcahse Order.
Is there any customization for the same?

In standard system, there is no connection between the PO date and
GR date. But the system can be setup in order to meet your
expectation.
You can use enhancement MEFLD004 (EXIT_SAPLEINR_004) to set the
'Earliest possible delivery date'. Here you can use the PO date to
define it. In addition you will have to customize system message M7254
as Warning or Error. Then MIGO will behave as expected.

Sales order picked the batch which will expire before the delivery date

Hello All,
I have a material MAT1 with Batch BAT1 which has the shelf life expiration date as 18.03.2014. A sales order was created on 16.03.2014 which is supposed to be delivered on 22.03.2013.
In this case the sales order should'nt have picked the batch BAT1.
In the material master for MAT1- Min. Rem. Shelf Life 1 Month.
Please let me know what could be the reason to pick this batch which is not expected...

There are 2 things:
Check whether you have a characteristics LOBM_RLZ - Remaining Shelf Life for Batch for respective class used for batch. In batch search strategy(VCH1) for the material Remaining Shelf Life for Batch should be greater then equal to 7 days.
In your movement type used for the GI, check at least SLExpir.date is not equal to 3 - No check at goods issue.

Serial Nos while doing PGI in the Delivery

Hi Everyone,
Please guide me for the following query:
After selecting an item line and then clicking on option for Serial No. on the screen, no screen is being appeared for entering the Serial Nos.
Note: The Material is a serialized material.

Please guide what can be the reason, why we are not able to get the screen where we can enter the serial nos?
Actually previously we transferred the stock from a batch valuated serialized material to the currently being used material (which is serialized but not batch valuated).
As because the currently being used material is not a batch valuated material, we are not getting the screen to enter the serial nos. Is this the reason?
With serial no. profile(XXXX), attached equipement category is 'H'.
With serial no. profile(XXXX), MMSL-the Serial Number Usage = '03', '01'
Serialization attributes for Movt Type: XXXX-MMSL-001-03-01.
601-LGoods movement for delivery note-Normal receipt- No consumption-001.
Now i got it, in my serial no. profile, SDLS was not defined!

Getting the error while doing PGI for depot delivery

Hi
I am getting the below error while doing PGI for Depot delivery. This error is happening only when I taking the materials from stock transfer order which has more than 10 line items. Same issue is not happening when I am taking one material in Stock transfer order in & same material in depot delivery. Please see the screen shots below attachment. I have already maintained no range for the object J_1IDEPINV for year 2014.

in shipping tab i can see Planned Deliv. Time 170 Days ... wat could be the reason.

Sales order cannot be created for the delivery date before 20.10.2008

when i create a sales order today (18102008) sales order cannot be created for the delivery date before 20.10.2008
how the system is checking the 2 days duration for delivery date - which table is having this duration days.
is it dependent on sales order type.....
actually i checkeup in V0V8 - even then i couldn't solve this error when i am creating the sales order.

Dear Selvamuthu
In normal circumstances, you can create as many as sale orders as you can irrespective of delivery date, and system will not prevent to create unless you apply some user exit for some reason.
Check any user exit is applied for that sale document type where some logic would have been written in such a way that if stock is available, sale order can be created.

While i send the delivery date to BAPI for PO create,it still going for ATP

Hi Friends,
while creating PO through BAPI I am sending delivery date to "BAPI_PO_CREATE1" in the schedule lines ,but still it is picking the delivery dates from the ATP.
I want my delivery dates to be populated in the PO rather than the ATP.
Please suggest.
Do we have any new BAPI i am using R/3 version 4.7.

"The end date can't be set to occur before the start date" issue

I have a subscribed calendar that draws from data in a Filemaker database. In all of these records, the start date & end date are the same. When I try to refresh the description, it fails with a "NSCocoaErrorDomain / error 1560" error, and the console log shows "The end date can't be set to occur before the start date."
Well, it doesn't occur before the start date. It's the same as the start date. I can work around this by setting my Filemaker database to add a day to the end date, but that's a clunky solution.
Anyone else run into anything like this?
(iCal 4.0.3 and OS X 10.6.4, btw)

It may not be the same problem, but the message was the same (end date...etc). I tore my hair out at the time trying to solve it. It was on my fathers computer. Everything appeared to be correct and consistent. What solved it was logging into MobileMe/account/personal info/time zone, where I found the time zone was wrong. I can't remember the detail now but at the time it seemed like a third place where time had to be correct. Worth your checking there anyway.

Material availability date can not be after the delivery date

Dear Experts,
we are using the following scnario,
1. Once the user creates the sales order, automatically system creates PO in the background.
we have created Bapi program for creation of Background PO in SD User Exit.
The following issue occurs in Prd, DS1, QS1 server, We have done Technical upgradation project, Now when we creates sales order automatically po created with error message of Material availablity date can not be after the delivery date. even sales order no also not updated in the PO.
QAS server (without technical upgrade) i refered the same input parameter and used the same and create the sales order system generates PO automatically without error message.
Does any one can through lights on this issue,

The dates are determined due to shipping and transportation scheduling settings. So check whether the shipping and transportation scheduling is being performed as per the cofiguration settings after Technical upgrade. Since the MAD date should not be after Delivery date but it seems that the dates are not determined properly.
Also check the Transit time, Loading time, Pick/Pack time and Lead time are retained as same as before the technical upgrade. Use the QAS server settings to validate the settings in other servers.
