Issue with ability to Sign

I used adobe 8 proffesional to create a pdf form that I want digitally signed.
When I preview, I am able to add a digital signature and Document Properties/Security it indicates signature allowed.
When I open the document in Adobe Reader. I cannot sign.
Document Properties/Security state Signing: not allowed. We are not using Echo. Help!

In order for digitally sign with Reader, the document has to be Reader-enabled. To do this in Acrobat 8, select: Advanced > Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader

Encoding issue with " " Less than sign

Hello Experts,
I am working on Receiver Webservice scenario where I am facing issue with "<" less than sign. SAP XI system automatically replace it with "<" sign. I can see the changed value in Audit log of communication channel.
Web service is not able to accept the data and I can see error message in audit log
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAPEXCEPTION - soap fault: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (1, 573). ---> The specified node cannot be inserted as the valid child of this node, because the specified node is the wrong type._
When I check the payload in audit log I can see the XML structure properly but as I open it in Notepad I can see character code "<" instead of u201Cless than <u201D symbol.

Note: As per Web service requirement whole XML data to be processed by webservice is populated in single Data field. As here we are populating whole XML data file in one field named data

I am having issues with my password signing onto my phone and my iPad

I have been having huge issues with my apple Id and password every time I enter in my apple Id and password it will not accept my password and I tried changing my password and when I go to use it it says it is wrong .I am so tired of having to change a password for all my apple products It is ridiculous. Ever since I went to the apple store and they had me use that darn ICloud everything has been screwed up. I never used I cloud for anything before and now I cannot do any updates on my iPhone or iPad or even my mac laptop. I do not know what to do can any one help?

Reset the iPad and see if that helps. Close all apps first.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you should probably restore the iOS software. Instructions are in this kb article.

If that fails, you are pretty much out of options and you should take your iPad to an Apple Store. They might be able to use their magic to restore the device for you, or if it is a hardware problem they will explain your options to you at that point.

Issues with CS6. Signing in, Rendering, Disk Cache, No response from Bug Report.

I submitted these issues some time ago to ae bugs <[email protected]> and did not hear back. I am a long time AE user and usually have a good Adobe experience, but CS6 does not work smoothly for me, and I have not found much help with my issues including emailing support and posting to the site. I find the current website not very effective for tech support.
- Every time I open CS6 it asks me if I want to continue the Trial and I have to go through the steps to sign in. This is frustrating since I have paid for Creative Cloud and this slows me down.
- In several projects I have had to turn off "Enable Disk Caching" or it renders text in the upper left corner, no matter where it is actually placed.
- General slowness, especially using Trapcode Form 2.0. In those cases the playback head in the timeline will not update for many seconds. Also, dragging keyframes around gets very exaggerated. If I drag a keyframe a few frames it will move way off the timeline.
- 3D text layer render times are so long as to be unusable. (I realize this could be related to my system, but still very disappointing for a Quad Core machine).
(I have an Nvidia GTE 120 graphics card. 2.93 Quad Core, AE CS 11.0.1.12, OS 10.6.8)
Any help/suggestions appreciated...

Issue with SAP Single Sign-On and Scheduling Reports

Hello --
We are on XI 3.1 with SAP BW and SSO. Some users are getting failures with this error message when they schedule a report to run:
"A database error occured. The database error text is: Unable to connect to SAP BW server System received an expired SSO ticket. (WIS 10901)."
It SEEMS as though the users are fine if they schedule the report to run immediately and have it run every hour (or less) after that. If they schedule it to run several hours from the time they are in the system, however, it looks like they begin getting failures around 8 hours after they were in the system. This would make sense from looking at the "InfoView and Central Management Console Session Management" document (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/index?rid=/library/uuid/405547f9-b840-2b10-44b5-8e17ff9e48a9&overridelayout=true) since a logon token expires after 8 hours, but since it is a scheduled report, and the user is not logged in through a browser, how is a token being passed? Is it captured and included when the report is scheduled? Would disabling logon tokens fix this issue? How is authentication handled here if they are disabled?

I am facing the exact same error.
However, we are not trying to schedule the WEBI report.
The user gets this error even when he is running on demand from the portal.
Here are the various steps tha twe have tried and still it doesnt work:
1) Refreshed and created new Universe connection
2) Bounced BOE server
3) Synced up the SSO timeout ticket to 8 hrs on all systems including BOE
4) Changed browsers
5) Removed cache, cookies etc
Please help.

Issues with Commenting and Signing

I'm using the latest update of version 10. When I have a document that has comments and I use the sign tool and then it saves the document the comments disapear. I've tried just about everything I can think of but it seems like after you use the sign feature it wipes all the comments and sticky notes out. Any ideas or fixes for this?

This can be done using the Sign pane without having to print the PDF/scanning pages after adding comments/signatures.
You can add text comments using the 'Add text' tool from Sign pane, add your signature using the 'Place signature' option where you can choose from 3 different signing options (typewritten signature, hand-drawn signature or importing signature from an image which can be a scanned image of your signature). After one person has added his comments and signature, you can choose to "finalize" the PDF which flattens the PDF so that the comments/signature of this person cannnot be modified by others. The next person can now add his comments/signatures on this PDF again. After all people are done with signing, you can attach the final PDF to your accounting program. This should work seamlessly.

Help Me: Issue with "Unable to Sign In" Analytics Of OBIEE 11g

I have Installed OBIEE 11g in Windows Server 2008-64 bit.I have installed through "Software Only" and ran the "Config Script".
while I was running "Config Script" , One Component was failed i.e "Executing : opmnctl start coreapplication_obips1 -----> Failed".
I just ignored that one and continue the installation.All were successfully created expect that "obips1".
Used Requirements for OBIEE11g:
Oracle 11.2.0,jdk-6u24-windows-x64,wls1033_generic,ofm_rcu_win32_11.1.1.3.3_disk1_1of1(RCU),OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.3.0.
All servers are up(NodeManager,WebLogic,BIServices,opmnctl) and the status of "opmnctl" also shows are are "Alive".
But here the problem is I am unable to login "Analytics" and even I am able to login "Console" and "EM".
I am getting an Error while I was logging to the Analytics i.e "An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator".
can any one help out how to fix the problem to Login Analytics successfully .
and suggest me that need to add any patches or other ways to fix the problem.

Can you check to see if you are able to login to Admin tool using the sampleliteapp Repository? Try the below solutions. If your not able to login to Admintool also, then solution 2 is more likely to fix the problem
Solution 1: (Restart BI services )
Try to restart all the BI Services.
1. Go to EM
2. Click on Business Intelligence to expand it
3. Click on Coreapplication, then Capacity Management tab
4. Click Restart All
5. Once all the compnents are restarted, the logon is enabled using the new port number being set.
Solution 2: ( Refreshing GUID's)
Open the NQSConfig.INI file for editing. For more information, see "Where are Configuration Files Located?" in Oracle Fusion Middleware System Administrator's Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.
Locate the setting FMW_UPDATE_ROLE_AND_USER_REF_GUIDS = NO and change its value to YES.
Modify the instanceconfig.xml file to instruct Oracle BI Presentation Server to refresh GUIDs on restart. Edit the file to add the last line in the following instruction.

Skype Sign In Issue with Nokia E5

I am facing skype log in problem in my mobile Nokia E5 where as via PC i can logged in successfully. Through mobile whenever i try to log in skype it shows skype sining and later on after few seconds it stop working. Plz suggest how can i resolve this issue with my Nokia E5 ?

To further verify, are you using the internet browser when trying to access the Skype? If so, have you tried browsing the other website wherein you need to sign in your account first before you can proceed? In case that you are using mobile data, please use Wi-Fi connection instead. You may also restart your phone by switching the phone off, take the battery out, put it back in after a few seconds and switch your phone on.

Issue with "at sign" - @

I have tried to create a databaselink to a SQL SERVER but I'm facing issues with the username.
When I use the following command the dblink is created but I am unable to connect to the dblink:
CREATE DATABASE LINK mydblink
CONNECT TO *"[email protected]"* IDENTIFIED BY "password"
USING 'tripoint';
When I test the dblink I receive the errors *ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user *'thiagobarnabe'*. {28000,NativeErr = 18456}* and ORA-02063.
If I use the following command I do not receive any error, it works perfectly:
CREATE DATABASE LINK mydblink
CONNECT TO "ThiagoBarnabe" IDENTIFIED BY "password"
USING 'tripoint';
It is important to notice that in both cases I'm using username and password enclosed by double quotes (") and both usernames and passwords are correct and exists in my SQLServer. In addition, in the error message we can see that the unrecognized user is what precedes the "at sign". I read Oracle documentation, tried to find any solution but so far I didn't find anything able to help me.
Is it possible to use users with at sign or not?
I would apreciate your valuable comments.

There's a bug (bug 16168452 - USERNAME WITH "@" SIGN CAN'T LOG INTO SQL SERVER USING THE GATEWAY) logged for 11.2.0.3 DG4MSQL gateways that the at sign can't be used in a username. The bug is still open and under investigation. It was already confirmed that the issue happens also with DG4ODBC 11.2.0.3 and we have to wait for a fix.

In an earlier release for 11.1 a fix was rejected (Bug 7356433: DG4ODBC REMOTE DB USERNAME AS EMAIL ADDRESS FAILS TO CONNECT) as it interferes with the @ handler using internally in OCI. But now as MS started with windows 8 to use the email like naming method it might change and the issue might be fixed.

I've been running a powershell script to create active directory accounts at our school from a csv file. I'm needing to have users placed in a specific OU based on what grade level they are in, which is a field in the csv file and I have passed into the description field in AD. To keep from writing a bunch of if statements, I thought I might could pass the description variable into my organizational unit path, but I'm having syntax issues.Here is the specific line I have issues with.Powershell'ou' = "OU=$line.description, OU=LESStudents,OU=LES,DC=school,DC=k12,DC=state,DC=us"I've tried the single quote, double quotes, escaping the equal sign and some other methods I've seen online, but haven't quite gotten it right. It just isn't recognizing OU=$line.description as a variable.

i am still getting a issue wtih my email sign in i have click twice on the sign in box . i am using the new bt home page both on w8 and the desktop and it does it on both email accounts my primary acc/ and sub acc. my sub acc email address i use to sign into my microsoft account. i have run bt desktop help pc heath check and it come back with cache size/clear history/ auto detect settings. so i clicked on the box to clear them and still got a issue with email sign in.

I have a large number of apps that show me what happens when accessing web-sites and when accessing BT yahoo I have had up to ---14--yes that's right--14 adverts blocked. Also in every case Yahoo is tracking you. These cause problems with the site. Since blocking them things have got better. I say this because I post on a popular US website which has multiple adverts including pop ups and video ads which badly effected the stability of that web-site-many complaints. Now its toned them down complaints have stopped. Try telling Yahoo to stop its ads and see where it gets you.

Thank you, James, but I do have a WiFi connection on the iPad mini. The Numbers files update on my iPad third generation and iPhone just fine when connected to the same network.

Issue with Minus sign in ALV

Hi,
I have a report program where the prices will be getting displayed. In the out put the last four fields of ALV is having values -235.52; -145.25; -457.25; -417.25. In the foreground execution, the output is proper. But in the background(spool), the same output is getting displayed as 235.52;145.25;-457.25;-417.25.
The first two values 235.52 and 145.25 are getting displayed with out minus sign.
Note: All the above fields are of same data type.
What could be the possible issue here? Please provide your valuable inputs.
