I'm facing this issue with Hyperion 11.1.1.3 & 11.1.2. In Excel, I've created a connection in SmartView by giving the URL as http://ServerName:8300/HyperionPlanning/SmartView. After that i'm able to see "Servers" and when i started expanding that, it displayed the server name. When i clicked on the server name, it should display the Planning Application name right ? instead of that just a Cuble symbol is displaying. Do i need to make any settings for proper display of the Planning Application names ? This is perfectly working fine with HFM. I'm able to see HFM application names. Pls. adviceI was trying for shared conenction this morning and it was not working. Now all of sudden it started working. Even i've checked now, the private connection is also working fine with the URL http://planningserver:8300/HyperionPlanning/SmartView

Issues with cross tabs when trying to convert our cry10 reports to cry 2008
We are trying to convert our reports from crystal 10 to crystal 2008. Reports that contain cross tabs will not execute in crystal 2008. We are getting a report application failed error. Has anyone encountered this? What is the fix?
I did notice that in a formula I am using in the Summarized Fields section I have a Next() on a field that I am trying to compare the next record with the current record. If I take that Next() out, the cross tab will work. Why would using this cause me problems?

Does anyone have experience with error 504 when trying to download a podcast? I've been a subscriber for two years without issue and in the last two days can't download this particular podcast (everything else is working fine - music, other podcasts, etc)
The album was released on the 27th March this year, so the error occurred almost immediately after it was supposedly available.
In the manage pre-orders section of my account, it says AVAILABLE but does not give me any choice over whether to download it, just to cancel it. Is this normal?
iTunes customer services reset my password and tried to download the album themselves, but they also got the 5002 error, so it's been passed off to the engineers. How long does that usually take?
If anyone has any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. -
I have an iphone 5s, does not boot, blinking white screen with black logo, when trying itunes restore from mac and pc, error code 4013 which is usb error, any ideas? Does a totally dead battery have that effect? I have had it plugged in to a computer overnight, but maybe does not charge when totally dead?

What kind of RFC do you use? If you use synchronous RFC the caller waits for the answer/result of the called function. In normal cases this should solve your issue.

I have an issue with BC. When the shopping cart is used it takes stock out of inventory and holds it, regardless of whether or not a customer proceeds to purchase. OK.
To make matters worse, the stock is only cleared from the shopping cart when the customer closes the browser - not when they close the shopping window.
Now lets say a customer doesn't close their browser for a month - it happens! .. when their stock is finally returned it may throw out our stock levels that have in the meanwhile been adjusted. So their stock will be added on top of an accurate stock take, putting stock in that isnt really available.
This is causing us mayhem.
We have not yet seen if stock is actually returned at all. In the test we did today where we filled a shopping cart then closed the browser without making a purchase, the stock was not returned immediately. So we dont even know when it will be returned - thats IF a customer actually closes their browser. Any solutions out there?

The way stock is managed in this situation is desirable for many in that case otherwise shopping on a site and adding to cart would not be viable or use friendly.
What you mention about not closing a browser though is a case that is not true. IF you go into the shop settings in the admin you can see the cart restore timer which is by default 24 hours but you can change this to as low as 1 hour if you wish. -

I did not realize Iife was already on the new mac, and installed I life from a disk. Now Iphoto has a circle with a slash, when trying to open is says (you can open iPhoto because is may be damaged or incomplete. ?
This sounds different than with my IOS devices, since I am able to see the photos even with a connection to the Internet.
Do you mean without a connection to the internet? With a connection it's logical you would be able to see the PS.

This tells me that the image files are not on the HD unless the subscriber chooses to download them. -

I am getting error -2147221219 when trying to execute OpenMsgStore API on Exchange Server 2007. I have created the Public Folder also on the same server. Also, I have installed the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 on the server. Please do let me know if our previous MAPI / CDO applications would work for Exchange Server 2007 in this environment?
Also, while executing the Microsoft Exchange MAPI editor when I click on Session -> Logon and Display Store Table I see Err:0x8004010F=MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND in the row type column. The MAPI initialization is successful and in the Display Name I get Public Folders and Mailbox - Administrator. Please let me know how to I make work the MAPI Editor.

Issues with my connection when gaming (Insurgency)

I just bought the MSI GT72 2QE. I am very pleased with de specs like the Geforce GTX 980m and the i4710hq but there is an issue that is bothering me some days now. When i am playing my beloved game Insurgency, i get ping spikes all the time. So i followed up some instruction on uninstalling the Killer software suite and just installing the drivers when i encountered the next problem. My Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1525 Wireless Network Adapter couldn't find the drivers in the 'drivers only' package. But i did my best to find other drivers and accomplished after 5 hours full of frustration. So that is done but still doesn't solve my problem.
I don't know what to do anymore and I'm starting to think that maybe my Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1525 Wireless Network Adapter is the issue. Maybe this is a hardware issue. I contacted the store where i bought it and they will contact me in 48 hours with a possible solution but the guy said that after all my effort it seems like a hardware issue indeed. You guys are my last hope or my laptop will be gone for 3 weeks at the factory.

I'm glad (and I'm not glad for the others..) that I'm not the only one. But it's not because there are more devices connected to my router because I am the only one now and I'm still having this problem while my other laptop doesn't have any problems at all. I've tried everything so far now. Resetting my router, restarting my router, reinstalled windows, reinstalled drivers, got rid of the software suite, turned off firewalls, virusscanners etc. Everything.
I thought it was only with Insurgency but it's also bugging me with Battlefield 4.
So i have tried and done everything i could find on every forum on the internet. Still I don't get the download/upload/connection I am used to when using wireless. When i am in my room, which is 10m away from the wireless router, my download speed is max 1200 kb/s where I would easily get 2300 kb/s. Also when playing online games I am having big issues with my latency/ping. It goes from 60 to 200 to 400 and back every 15/20 seconds. I also own a Asus laptop and I don't have any issues at all with the wireless connection. When I am in my room there are no problems at all. I am starting to think that the Killer Wireless adapter is just a f*cked up thing. I bought a laptop (GT72 with 980m) for €2300 but I am having all these issues with the connection. It makes me really frustrated.

Issue with PO Currency when currency changed after the approval.

we have get an issue with PO currency which is as follows
Step1:Created a Limit PO with value 3.701,00 CHF and sent it for approval,,and PO is approved and transfered to backed (We are using "Extended classical scenario' .
Step2:but we got to know that the PO value should be in USD ,so will go to PO and changed the currency value to USD ,it coveted value to 3421 but ,since i need the 3701 USD i changed the value to 3701 at item level and orderd the PO.
but after approval , when it transfered to backed it is showing the value 3.701,00 USD at header level ,but 3.402,84 USD at item level.
so when we are trying to create GR it is populating 3.402,84 USD but we need 3701 USD.
is any one know the what is the problem with this.

You use this function if you wish to print out or transmit again a complete purchasing document that has already been outputted. Note that the system takes account in the message of any changes made to the purchasing document since it was last outputted - i.e. the system always outputs the current status of the document. If you wish to have old statuses available, you must optically archive the purchasing document.
Activities
You invoke the Messages screen as follows:
Via the purchasing document itself (Header Messages) or
Via <Purchasing document> Messages Print/transmit.
Enter the processing status 1 (successfully processed) and display the messages.
Select the desired message and choose Goto-> Message details.
Choose Edit-> Repeat message or Change message.
The system inserts the new message. If a change message is involved, the system sets the Change indicator.
Save your data.
