Issue with binary submission
I have upgraded our app using Viewer Builder 1.5 and submitted the app to Apple. I have received this message from the iTunes Store:
Dear Developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent binary submission for "[app name]". Before your app can be reviewed, the following issues must be corrected:
Invalid Code Signing Entitlements - The signature for your app bundle contains entitlement values that are not supported. For the com.apple.developer.ubiquity-container-identifiers entitlement, the first value in the array must consist of the prefix provided by Apple in the provisioning profile followed by a bundle identifier suffix. The bundle identifier must match the bundle identifier for one of your apps or another app that you are permitted to use as the iCloud container identifier.
Specifically, value "EH4Y8L86T7.*" for key "com.apple.developer.ubiquity-container-identifiers" in viewer is not supported.
Invalid Code Signing Entitlements - The signature for your app bundle contains entitlement values that are not supported.
Specifically, value "EH4Y8L86T7.*" for key "com.apple.developer.ubiquity-kvstore-identifier" in viewer is not supported.
Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click Ready to Upload Binary. Continue through the submission process until the app status is Waiting for Upload and then use Application Loader to upload the corrected binary.
Regards,
The iTunes Store Team
Do you know what this means? Did I do anything wrong?
On Apple's iOS Provisioning Portal, under App IDs there is an option to enable iCloud. Should I have not enabled that?
Thanks,
Mike
You should not enable the iCloud option. The Viewer Builder now creates viewers that store folios in the caches directory, not the Documents directory. Files cannot be backed up from the caches directory, so Apple rejected the app. Re-configure your App ID with iCloud deselected and re-create your mobileprovision files -- you should be able to use your same p12 certificates -- and then submit the app again.
For what it's worth, I accidentally submitted one app with iCloud turned on and one with it turned off, and Apple approved both.

Issue with binary attribute types through Directory Proxy Server 6.3.1
I'm having problems with DPS 6.3.1.1 on Solaris 10 with binary attribute types. From most LDAP servers, requesting an attribute such as userCertificate would return userCertificate;binary without any issues. However, DPS seems to consider these two separate attributes. In order to see userCertificate;binary, I have to ask for it in that exact format. This obviously is causing trouble for many clients as they shouldn't care about the binary type as it's the same attribute.
I've tried to correct this with a virtual data transformation (dpconf add-virtual-transformation 'PKI Tree' read add-attr-value userCertificate \${userCertificate\;binary}) but the end results are the same. Any ideas on how I can correct this one?
Thanks in advance. Here is some complementary information:

Issues with podcast submission, tried multiple options
I’m trying to submit a new podcast to iTunes. I’m using podpress on Wordpress and hosting the mp3 files on our servers. I know podpress isn’t ideal but it seems to be the only one I’ve found that work with our website. The subscribe to podcast by url is working fine, it downloads all the needed information.
http://centralfloridatop5.com/category/orlandotourismreport/feed/
But when I try to submit the podcast I keep getting the ‘We had difficulty downloading episodes from your feed’ message. I’ve checked multiple times the picture size, file with no spaces and other options I’ve found on these boards.I even had our IT guy take a look at it and he seemed to not know what the issue was.
I tried the regular blog feed http://centralfloridatop5.com/feed/ and it works for the podcast by url but again not the Submit a Podcast feed url.
I’m not out of options and don’t know what to try next. Any ideas? As you say your feed can be subscribed to OK. I can't see any obvious reason why it's falling over on submission, though there are a few minor points:
Your server is a bit slow to respond, though I wouldn't have thought the delay was long enough to cause a timeout.
Your filenames have spaces in them. Spaces are not allowed in a URL, but the feed is handling this correctly by substituting the code %20 for each space so it shouldn't be causing a problem, it's just messy.
The 'length' attribute in your 'enclosure' tags is set to '1' - it should be the file size in bytes. I wouldn't have thought this would have caused a problem.
Sometimes the submissions process falls over - I can only suggest waiting a day or so and trying again. -
Issue with Upgrading to 2nd Generation MotoX
Dear Verizon Wireless and Motorola Mobility,
Your 2nd Generation Moto X Upgrade program is fatally flawed and my experience highlights everything that could possibly go wrong when attempting to upgrade an existing plan.
As Verizon replied to my tweet (my twitter name is @melting_plastic), “Getting a new phone should be an exciting time.” but my experience has been everything but that.
My current phone is a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. This was my first entry into the Android operating system and I fell in love. As a former Blackberry user, I was a bit hesitant to switch but upon receiving this phone in May of 2012, I had nothing but a great experience with it. This experience made want to continue with a Motorola phone upon my next available upgrade and I had waited to upgrade my phone until the newest Motorola phones were announced. I put off my upgrade for over 5 months waiting for the announcement of a new phone with my current phone deteriorating. The battery life has dropped to less than 2 hours and it has begun to freeze constantly with all the upgrades to software that it is unable to handle. Due to these issues, I checked every day waiting for an announcement of the new Moto X to be release and was finally happy when it was announced it would be released on September 27th for Verizon.
On the morning of Friday September 27th, I attempted to order my phone, a 32gb model, through the MotoMaker website and my first issue arose. Even though I was eligible for an upgrade, the MotoMaker website required a credit check for me to upgrade. As I am not the primary account holder, I did not feel comfortable inputting my father's information for a credit check. I also felt it was not necessary as I was paying the $149.99 by my credit card and the account has been with Verizon since the mid 1990's while it was still Bell Atlantic. As I was eligible for an upgrade and not a new account, it seemed a bit much that this credit check was needed. After searching the internet, I found many posts from the original Moto X release about this issue and the solution was to go to a Verizon Wireless store and pre-purchase the phone there and use the provided pin to order the phone at the MotoMaker website.
During my lunch break on September 27th, I visited the Wireless Zone retailer in Malvern Pennsylvania and waited for over 45 minutes to talk to an associate in an attempt to pre-purchase this phone and receive a pin for the website. This associated had no information about the ability to purchase this pin nor could he order the 32gb model directly for me. He apologized to me about the wait and his inability to fulfill my order but recommended me to go to a retail Verizon Wireless store as they may be able to help me.
After returning to work, I decided to attempt to discuss my issue using the Verizon Wireless help chat on its website. The operator suggested to call the Verizon support line and that they should be able to help me on this purchase. I proceeded to place the call, once again waiting on hold for 30 minutes, until I finally was able to talk to a representative. This representative was unable to help me but transferred me to another department that may be able to. After a brief hold, I was transferred to an individual who was finally able to help me out. He informed me that the 32gb model was not in the Verizon system but was expected to be added on October 1st. He apologized for the wait but at least he was able to provide me with valid information.
On Saturday October 4th, I visited the Verizon Retail location in King of Prussia Pennsylvania and once again waited 45 minutes before being seen by a representative. This time I was helped by an associate named Jeremy who knew exactly what I meant by purchasing a pin. After a bit of struggling to properly place the order, the order was placed with the help of a manager, at the price of $199.99 with a $50 mail-in-rebate. This became the 2nd area of disappointment. Not only did I have to wait to purchase this phone but I had to pay an increased rate up front and needed to send in for a mail-in-rebate. I thanked Jeremy for his help and headed back to my residence 15 miles away.
Once home, I attempted to place the order for my phone. As I live 100+ miles away from the primary account address, I had planned to have the phone shipped to my work as I had done when I purchased my Droid Razr Maxx. The MotoMaker website prevented me from changing the shipping address and I was once against frustrated by this process. I used the MotoMaker online support tool and they informed me that I must contact Verizon and they can adjust the shipping address as each PIN has a pre-defined shipping address attached to it.
I called Verizon's technical support line at approximately 4:30PM from my home phone. After once again waiting on hold for half an hour, I was finally connected to an associate and she was very friendly and attempted to help me with my shipping issue. She understood my frustration and placed a 3-way call between her, myself and Motorola support. During this call, she and myself became very frustrated with Motorola support staff as they refused to adjust the shipping address and stated that there was nothing that they could do. She apologized to me and suggested that I return to the King of Prussia location and attempt to sort it out there.
Begrudgingly, I returned to the Verizon location and once again waited to speak to Jeremy. He apologized for my situation and saw the only way to rectify it was to have FedEx adjust the shipment address after it had been shipped. He informed me that any charges that would be incurred to do so would be credited to my account if I returned to the store with the receipt.
I returned home and attempted to place the order again. This time I was able to adjust my shipping address and placed the order. While doing so, I received an error message and was instructed to call Motorola's support line. I called this line at around 7:45PM and spoke to a gentleman named Christian. He opened up support case 141005-006808 and informed me that because of my attempt to change the shipping address, this was why the error occurred. He instructed me to attempt to replace the order using the original supplied address and e-mail account and that I “must” use the Chrome web browser. This statement of having to use the Chrome browser was a complete fallacy and he refused to accept that any other browser could be used to properly order the phone. I installed the Chrome browser, attempted to order the phone and this time I was informed that my PIN was already used, likely during the original failed attempt. Christian informed me that he must escalate the issue and it would take an additional 24-48 hours. The simple act of creating a new PIN should not take this amount of time.
On Monday October 6th, I was finally able to get in contact with another associate from Motorola who was instantly able to create a new PIN for me. I once again placed the order and this time it went through with no issue, order number 00789348. The only disappointment was that I now had to wait until “approximately October 27th” to receive my new phone. During my waiting period, I periodically check the MotoMaker website and during that time, noticed that they offered an additional $50 discount on the Verizon Moto X which would have brought my total down to $99.99. So on top of the additional wait and disappointment, I had now paid $100 over the current price through MotoMaker .
On Tuesday, October 22nd, I finally received the e-mail stating that my phone had shipped and was due to arrive in Forked River, NJ on October 23rd. Using the FedEx website, I attempted to adjust my shipping address to my work, at the cost of $30 and a delay until Friday October 24th. I was unable to perform this action and then attempted to adjust the shipping address to the location I would be at Friday night (my sister's house) for the same delay, but only a cost of $5. Once again I was unable to perform this action and decided to call FedEx directly. After speaking to the associate at FedEx, she informed me that the only way to adjust the address was to have the shipper, Motorola Mobility adjust the address. With my previous issues with Motorola, I knew that this request would be denied. At this point, my only recourse is to have my parents ship me the phone to my work once they receive it on October 23rd. Even then, I'm unsure if FedEx will leave the phone at the location without a signature if no one is there to sign for it, which is why I attempted to ship the phone to my work.
At this point, I'm extremely dissatisfied with both Verizon and Motorola with how this whole situation has transpired. I feel a though I should have purchased an Apple iPhone 6 even though I am not a fan of the iOS platform or a different Android OS manufacturer. As a Fios account holder, I am also tempted to switch to the competition after 3+ years of being a customer. I feel that both Motorla and Verizon failed to rectify any hardship I had experienced in my attempt to purchase this phone and even now fear that I will not receive my phone in time to mail in mail-in-rebate which needs to be postmarked by November 1st.MPerreca, This is quite a lot for you to have to go through! We surely don't want to lose your business as we appreciate your loyalty with us. I understand the challenges that can come in needing the shipping address changed on your phone orders. I'm glad to learn that the phone is now on it's way.
I'm confident that you'll be fine with submitting the rebate for your phone. If you do run into troubles with the submission, please let us know. You can also pre-submit your rebate information, here: http://bit.ly/1kKwKJK. Let us know if you have further concerns.

Hi all
I'm having some issues starting the X server. I don't know how it happened, my netbook was on standby. After I turned it on, there were loud beep sounds coming out of my computer and the screen was completely black so I shut it down. After I turned it back on I got following issue:

Back up all data, if you haven't already done so.
Select ▹ Software Update to install the latest Java update (if Java is already installed) or the Flashback malware removal tool (if Java is not installed under Lion), as well as any other available updates. Installing either of those items should clear the infection in most cases. You must update to the latest version of Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7 before you can install the Java update.
The removal tool runs automatically in the background and is then deleted. Don’t look for something to click. If the malware is removed, you’ll be notified.

I have a feeling this is an issue with the underlying programming, but I thought I would ask. I use a website that has a textbox for entering form data. As part of that textbox, when I use in my computer there are several icons for inserting an image url, inserting urls and several others.
On the safari app in ipad and iphone these icons do not appear. Anyone have any suggestions on work arounds?
ThanksWell, completely borrowed from a prior related submission by one who certainly appears to know his web design stuff ..... You have to use the 'touch' related JavaScript command set vice the mouse-based ones.

Issue with SSL in web service.
Hi All,
We are having synchronous web service to proxy scenario in XI. We are trying to send a binary data using the SOAP web service to SAP via XI. Initially, we were posting large binary data using HTTP connection via XI from the SOAP client. The scenario was working without any issues.
Since the data is sensitive changed the web service from HTTP to HTTPS.The interface works without issues when we test it using the SOAP client for testing. When the data is sent using the Dot Net application (the end application) using the same webservice, URL (HTTPS connection) the message errors out. The connection is borken and the message fails. In this scenario, XI does not even receive the message which I can make out looking into the SOAP adapter communication channel.
The interesting fact here is the same Dot Net application is able to connect and send smaller binary data using HTTPS connection.
Could you please let us know if this could be the issue with HTTPS connection on XI side? I doubt it to be an issue on XI side because the adapter does not even receive any message when the scenario fails. But we used some HTTPS monitoring tools and found that the Dot Net Application receives some encrypted response from the server which the application is not able to decrypt and the handshake breaks.
Could you please throw some inputs into this issue.
Thanks,

[SOLVED]Issue with Postfix sending to external mail addresses
I'm having a very silly issue with Postfix. I followed the wiki article at [link]https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Postfix[/link], and everything seems to work properly, however I cannot send to emails outside of my domain.
I get the error:

Here is what the logs say:

For example:
if you specify:
virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual_alias, mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_forwards.cf
you don't need this:
alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
and i think you have a lot of more options you don't need.
This is my main.cf on my vps and everything works great (sending and receiving emails from/to most common mail server: gmail, hotmail etc etc)
smtpd_banner = $myhostname ESMTP $mail_name (Debian/GNU)

it is very simple (no dkim, no forced tls, no mailbox limits and so on) and it can be improved but it works..
as I suggested you just try spending some hour wiping postfix installation and giving a look to this guide -
Issue with AFP server dropping connections on 10.8.5 server 2.2.2
We are having issues with users getting dropped from their AFP server shares.
These issues did not start happening until we upgraded to 10.8.5 and server 2.2.2
the first symptoms were an occasional user would lose his / her active connection while copying files. They were unable to disconnect from the network shares without physically disconnecting the LAN or disabling the network on their system. Once the connection was removed they could reconnect to the network and establish their AFP shares again.
However this his escalated to every user losing connections to their AFP shares at the same time.
The server has no AFP error in the AFP error log however we are getting diskutil crash reports at around the same time. (See Below)
The server has
smalltree 1x6 8254 with latest drivers supporting a LACP bonded 6 pair connecting to an edgecore (LACP configured)switch.
small tree 10Gb card directly connected to an edit station.
onboard ethernet connected to switch in support of DHCP & DNS. (previous version of server would not see the bonded pair)
Two Accusys A12S2's
(we did not have this dropping connection issue before the upgrade to server 2.2.2 and OSX 10.8.5)
Users connected to any network connection to the server appear to be affected when the AFP shares are disconnected. Direcet connect, onboard ethernet port and Bonded pair connections)
diskutil verifies all shared drives appear to be ok. (All Green)

Problem with Binary search statement
Hi,
I have problem with reading the internal with Binary search.
I have two internal tables BSAS and BSIS. In BSAS I have 1,200,000 line items and BSIS 500,000 line items. I need to delete the line items if BSIS-BELNR NE BSAS-AUGBL.
I am using the following code :
LOOP AT gt_bsas .
READ TABLE gt_bsis WITH KEY bukrs = gt_bsas-bukrs
belnr = gt_bsas-augbl
gjahr = gt_bsas-gjahr.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
DELETE gt_bsas.
CLEAR gt_bsas.
ELSE.
endif.
endloop.
By this execution of the loop is taking long time. If I use the binary search it is fast but result is not correct.
Please suggest me, how to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Sri.Try this way:
LOOP AT gt_bsas .
<b>SORT GT_BSIS BY BUKRS BELNR GJAHR.</b>
READ TABLE gt_bsis WITH KEY bukrs = gt_bsas-bukrs
belnr = gt_bsas-augbl
gjahr = gt_bsas-gjahr
<b>BINARY SEARCH.</b>
<b>IF sy-subrc eq 0.</b>
****Do Nothing.
ELSE.
<b>DELETE gt_bsas sy-tabix.</b>
CLEAR gt_bsas.
endif.
endloop.
1. Also make sure that the KEY mentioned in READ statement follows the same seqeunce of gt_bsis structure.
Thanks,
Santosh

Module Function Name Resolution - Issues with DefaultCommandPrefix
Just getting started on module development, running PS4, and I've run into an... inconsistency... that I'm trying to understand. I've got two test functions, Get-Something and Set-Something in a script module. In my manifest file I specify a DefaultCommandPrefix
of 'Test'.
My issue is the function name resolution doesn't result in an executable result if you leave PowerShell up to it's own process.
To begin with I closed all sessions and deleted all files in the CommandAnalysis directory. After starting a session I waited for the CommandAnalysis cache to populate. Then I ran a series of test commands to illustrate how, most of the time, the function
name PowerShell registers with tab completion can't be executed because it lacks the 'Test' prefix. Even worse, much of the time tab completion won't recognize the correct (i.e., with prefix) name of the function and honor tab completion for it.
Having just learned of the CommandAnalysis cache I assumed I would see it change as PowerShell 'learned' more about the module because the name resolves differently over time. I've included three files at the end of this post, the module code (ModuleTest.psm1),
the manifest (ModuleTest.psd1) and the capture of output to the PowerShell session (ModuleTest.txt). I've tried to include the times I used <tab> and <ret> for tab completion and execution as well as (comments in parenthesis for things I did like
starting a new session and checking the CommandAnalysis cache for changes).
An example is, when first starting a session typing 'get-som<tab>' will resolve to 'Get-Something' (prefix 'Test' missing) and typing 'get-test<tab>' won't resolve to 'Get-TestSomething'. Try to execute the 'Get-Something' from tab completion
and you'll get the 'name not recognized, blah, blah'.
Now if you type 'get-som<tab>' PowerShell will resolve to 'ModuleTest\Get-Something' - looks promising... but no. Try to execute the 'ModuleTest\Get-Something' from tab completion and you'll still get the 'name not recognized, blah, blah'.
Even though the same key strokes resolved differently there were no changes made to the CommandAnalysis cache so I'm lost on why it produces two different (though equally useless) results.
Manually importing the module and sometimes running Get-Command -Module ModuleTest will make tab completion of the function names behave correctly. Is this a known issue with using DefaultCommandPrefix in script modules or is there something I need to include
in the manifest to enforce strict name recognition (including the prefix)?

William Busby, PMPHi William,
yes, that's something you'll either have to do the hard way or live with admin confusion.
If you're using Sapien's PowerShell Studio as an Editor (hint: Usually a great idea), you can very easily rename a function, even in a multi-file module project, by rightcklicking on the function-name and selecting "rename".
Alternatively you can do a bulk rename with Powershell:
Get all functions in your module (Load it and check exportedcommands)
loop over each function-name
calculate new name
search your entire project for all references and replace them.
Let me see ...
function Rename-ModulePrefix
[CmdletBinding()]
Param (
[Parameter(Position = 0, Mandatory = $true)]
[string]
$ModuleName,
[Parameter(Position = 1, Mandatory = $true)]
[string]
$OldPrefix,
[Parameter(Position = 2, Mandatory = $true)]
[string]
$NewPrefix,
[Parameter(Position = 3)]
[string]
$Path
# Catch all typos
Import-Module $ModuleName -ErrorAction 'Stop'
# Get root path if not manually passed
if (-not $PSBoundParameters["Path"])
$Path = (Get-Module $ModuleName).Path
# Get module files
$Files = Get-ChildItem -Path $path -Recurse -Include "*.ps1", "*.psm1", "*.psd1"
# Iterate over each file
foreach ($file in $Files)
# Null variable in case you get an empty file somewhere and run this from Win 7
$data = $null
# Get Content of file
$data = Get-Content $file
# Replace strings
foreach ($c in (Get-Module $ModuleName).ExportedCommands)
$newName = $c.Name -replace $OldPrefix, $NewPrefix
$data = $data | ForEach-Object { $_ -replace $c.Name, $newName }
# Write back to file
$data | Set-Content $file
While I didn't proof it, in theory this should do it (Make a backup before running it :) ).
Cheers,
Fred

Issue with request.get parameter
Hi all,
I am working on a developing a for the users to request access to portal. on submit of the form a mail is sent to user and a page for the successful submission is displayed.
When transported to Q system we started to get a null pointer exception on submitting the initial form. On investigating further I saw that the request.get parameter is not getting the values in the second page. Please let me know if there is any thing to be done at the portal level to solve this issue. As it is the same code and iview on both the systems.Hi,
It might be issue with Permissions, And also Everyone role with end user permission is assigned or not in QA.
Compare the permissions in dev and qa to resolve the issue.

Hope this helps.

Issue with displaying Greek characters in Oracle 11.1
Hi,
We are having issues with display of Non-English language (for ex Greek) text on Pega-PRPC. The text is stored in a reference table in Oracle DB. However there is not need of translation in PRPC as it has the capability of displaying non-english language also.
I believe that it is a issue with DB settings, although not sure of what is the setting.

The first question that needs to be answered is whether the problem is a data storage problem or data presentation problem.
The query below will answer this question.
