Issue with Blackberry ID login

Dear team,
I have updated my Z10 STL100-1 to BB OS 10.3.1.1565.Now I have an issue with BB ID: I type email and password, but there is no action after button "Check" is pressed.
This issue has strong impact to me: If I cannot to login with my Blackberry ID then I cannot back up my data - messages, contacts and media via BB desktop Software. I saw some suggestions at this Forum to do security wipe, but it will delete all my data. I tried to backup data manually but there is no contacts and messages in these folders, only media files and downloads.
Please advise me how to solve an issue with BB ID login without deletion of all my data or how to backup data from device to PC (Windows 8.1) in case of further security wipe.

Read this for instructions to reset your BlackBerryID password:

Your choices other are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

  • Issues with Blackberry Playbook not being recognised by Windows Explorer

    Hello, I'm new to the forums but am having the same problems as many others are, that being my Playbook not regonised by Windows Explorer. I have tried all of the solutions I have read like unistalling Desktop Manager, uninstalling then re-installing drives in Windows Device Manager. But one I recently stumbled across was uninstalling Blackberry Device Manager, how do I do this?
    Also the main problem appears to be that my Playbook will not sync anything with my computer. In Desktop Manager I can back-up my Playbook, but not sync anything. After re-installing a drive I now get the message of: 'Your Blackberry device is not compatible with this feature' whereas before I got the message of: 'You haven't configured any sync methods' but yet all of the sync options were greyed out. 
    How do I get Windows Explorer to recognise my Playbook as a drive and how can I sync in Desktop Manager?

  • Issues with OSSO ,custom login module and form based authentication

    Hi:
    We are facing issues with OSSO (Oracle Single Sign on ),Our application use the form based
    authentication and Custom login module.
    Application is going in infinite loop when we we try to login using osso ,from the logs
    what I got is looks like tha when we we try to login from OSSO application goes to the login
    page and it gets the remote user from request so it forwards it to the home page till now
    it is correct behaviour ,but after that It looks like home page find that authentication is
    not done and sends it back to the login page and login page again sends it to the home as it
    finds that remote user is not null.
    Our web.xml form authentication entry looks like this :

    <form-login-config>
    <form-login-page>/jsp/login.jsp</form-login-page>
    <form-error-page>/jsp/couldnotlogin.jsp</form-error-page>

  • 2 SMS Issues with Blackberry Curve 8530

    Hi, I've had 2 issues with my SMS functions on my BB curve 8530 which is recently purchased.
    1) I don't receive any form of notification when I receive SMSes, regardless of whether my BB is in Vibrate or Normal mode. The LED light does not flash either. I know (from other forums) that this is a common problem, but I have yet to find a valid solution for this. This problem occured around 1 month after using the BB.
    2) Initially when using SMSes it comes in a chat format (e.g. history of the conversation will appear below as you type a reply) but now it only appears when I am viewing a received message. When I try to send a outgoing message, I am only able to see the history of messages I have typed, and not the ones received. How do I rectify this issue?

    Hello, i'm not sure about a solution for number 1, but i am experiencing the same problem for number 2.  Before i changed my theme from the classsic one, everything was going okay with my texts but since i have changed it i can no longer view my messages as a conversation. I can still see my messages but i have to go all the way through the message menu ( sms inbox/outbox ect) I recommend that you open a message from your inbox, hit the blackberry key, scroll down to options, then general, then where it says theme controlled change it to combined. I tried that and it didnt work for me, but it might for you as it did to my friend. Good luck! 

  • Issue with Blackberry Curve 9220

    Hi,
    I have a problem with the blackberry curve 9220 joy stick or laser (do not know what to call it exactly - phone terminology). I could see the laser light while switching the phone ON and then later it disappears.  Due to this I'm unable to navigate the screen through the joy stick. This is becoming very difficult to make phone calls nor for any usage per say. Is there something wrong and needs an urgent attention?
    + I agree about 3 months ago the phone fell into a mug of water and after a day it worked with no problem till date.. Need your help and insights to see if I can put the phone to sleep and buy another one.....
    I really love this phone and wanted some solution to make it work.

    Up until that point, I thought that I would have useful advice for you...but that information changed everything. There were steps to try ("the rice trick"), but they needed to be done 3 months ago...too late now.  Applying power to your BB between it getting wet and doing those processes reduces the chances of success. Further, the only thing predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back up right away and be fine. I've seen others never work at all. I've seen still others run for a bit, and then die later (which sounds like your situation). And everything in between.

  • Issue with blackberry sync and contact lists

    Hello!
    To the bone: I'm having trouble synchronizating my contacts between my blackberry and microsoft oulook 10. The thing is that my contacts are in different lists in my blackberry and when I try to sync them with outlook (BB to outlook) it only synchronizes one list of contacts.
    Any suggestions?

  • Z30 issues with Blackberry Link

    I recently upgraded from a Z10 to a Z30. 
    Issue #1
    When I transferred all info from the Z10 to the Z30 using Blackberry Link it changed the name  of the new Z30 from the name that it came with to a name of my Z10. Is this normal?  Can I change it back to the name it had originally without confusing Blackberry Link? Does it even matter?

    When I connected my Z10 to my computer and opened Blackberry Link there was a dropdown menu along the botton of the frame and one of the choices was "back up". Now with the Z30 that dropdown menu menu box is not there but along the left side that says that my Z30 is connected and one of the menu choices is "backup and restore". Is this the same thing?

  • Issue with blackberry id

    i changed my phone a year ago, i have videos on my phone which i need to get off the phone which arnt saved on my SD card
    i have tried to log in and i couldnt remember my password for my blackberry id , i changed my  password and created a new id but still i cannot log in without wiping all my data and the worst part is im up to 6/10 attempts so i darent waste them any more , is there a way round this or can someone help me with retrieving the videos and photos. the videos are sentimental and i really dont want to wipe all the data , i lost my dog recently and the videos are of her as a pup and i didnt realise they wernt on the sd card :'(

  • Sound issues with Blackberry Curve 9320

    Hi all, ive owned the 9320 for about a month now and this morning its deicded to not play any sound, at all.
    Ive not changed any setting, ive also checked that I havent muted the phone, its using its normal sound scheme, which I have been using this past month or so.
    It also isnt playing any media files, I have a few of my mp3's saved to the phone to the listen to, any time I try to open a song, I get an error saying device cant read file.
    All this started today and the only thing ive done with the phone today is make 1 phonecall.

    Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

  • Issue with IE8, during login to Oracle Apps 11.5.9 front end

    Hi,
    One of the user is getting below error message window in IE8, when he tries to login to Oracle Apps 11.5.9 front end, with his username and password:

    User tried deleting cookies and temporary internet files aslo, restore default as well nothing seemed to be worked.

    Can you confirm if you have automatic sync set to On or Off by following these steps here. If these checkboxes are checked this may be why the synchronization is occruing automatically. Let us know.

  • Issue with new account logins?

    I just tried to set up 3 new accounts on my home Mac; I've done this before on several work machines without difficulty. When I try to login as any of the new users, no password seems to work. Repeated password resets all failed...
    Anybody got any ideas?

  • Time machine recovery issue with passwords and logins

    I have 2008 MBA running 10.9 which had hardrive fail, reinstall from 10.6 DVD recovery all info from time machine backup, had to reset passwords,then ran s/w update (app store didn't work from recovered s/w) now I can't login. Takes my account password looks like it is logging in but goes back to login screen. HAve repaired permissions, reset pram, started in single user mode which shows more info then I understand but saw line:
    dyld: shared cached file was built against a different libSystem.dylib, ignoring cache
    I think I have system componetnts missmached but not sure how to recover using the time machine backup.

    Went through wiping the disk but added a second partition. Went through all the install again and after s/w update moves it from 10.6 to 10.6.8 needed to do the 10.7 upgrade in will not let me login ( yes had to reset password).  Apple needs to do better then thes crappy diskless installs. If I had a 10.9 disk I would have been up and going without wasting my weekend.

    whenever i connect my BB torch 9810 to BB desktop software, it shows the apps which has been installed on my phone only..
    i want to installed input language and other things but it doesnot show them

    If desktop software is not offering your desired language ( Hindi ) then you can try to Install an OS pack which offer this language . If you want to do that then follow those steps :
    1.Download an OS pack having All Language  from here  Software from Redington (India) Limited
    ( Make sure you are downloading for the same device model )
    2. Now Double Click  on the file that you Downloaded to Install it on your PC
    3. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
     Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device. 
    4.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
        C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
        C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
    From here you have two options :
    Once completed Open BlackBerry Desktop Software ( 7.1 ) > Select Applications. > In the Language and Input Support section, select the language to be added to the BlackBerry smartphone (a + will appear next to the language to install) > Click Apply.
    Or 
    Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.  It will Install the OS on your BlackBerry .
    Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

  • Blackberry 8310 syncing issues with Blackberry charging pod!

    Just got a very nice looking charging pod for BB 8310, ive connected it to computer and when BB sat in it, it charges, the light on pod remains white BUT i cannot get desktop manager to recognise the BB and sync.
    Any ideas why?

    well, it's a charging cradle. You connect it to your computer but the only thing that is transferred is 5V energy.
