Issue with Bluetooth

Hello,
I try to connect a speaker in bluetooth. My phone find the device, on Devices list I have only one item: "OVC3860" paired. When I click on this device, a message appears: "Only one audio device can be connected at a time". But in Devices list I got only this device, could you help me with this issue please?

Hello wokberry and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your Bluetooth.
Delete the pairing from your BlackBerry Q10 and reboot by pulling the battery.
After your device powers on, re-pair your device to the speakers. Are you now able to connect and use the speakers?
Thanks!

You can turn on BT tethering but it disables Wifi so if I have to do that step every time I get in my car, I just as well manually connect on BT every time.

  • 10.4.8 Issues with bluetooth headset

    Hello!
I have always used a Logitech Bluetooth Headset with the SIP client XMeeting under OS X 10.4.5 without any issues. AfterI updated to 10.4.8, the headset only works when I switched on PRIOR to booting the Mac.
If I switch it on after booting the Mac, its LED blinks blue with a strange sequence (two short blinks every 2 seconds or so - a headset state that the user's guide does not even mention).
But even if I switch it on prior to booting the Mac, it will not really connect (i.e. get out of standby mode) when I start XMeeting, instead it will connect with a delay only when I start a call with XMeeting.
Does anyone else face issues with bluetooth headsets? Or has someone found a fix for that?
    Thanks,
    Erik

Issue resolved with patches to 10.4.8 and follow-on versions.

  • Droid 3 voice dialing issues with bluetooth

I just received my Motorola Droid 3 on Monday.  I'm having issues using voice dialing with my Samsung WEP590 bluetooth headset.  No trouble activating the voice dialing on the phone but it never dials the correct name.  I did the voice training on the phone but it didn't help.  Yes, English is my native language.   Saying "call home" made the phone ask if I wanted to "email" someone.  Very frustrating since I travel for my job and voice dialing over bluetooth is essential.
I tried to do voice dialing without bluetooth and had the same issue.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Is there a third party app I can use?
    thanks for any help.

    Good Afternoon, dtownfb!
I researched bluetooth information about the device and the headset. I found no related concerns from other users. It would appear to be a hardware related issue on either the phone or headset. Have you been able to use another bluetooth with the device successfully? Have you tried the bluetooth paired with another phone and used the voice dialing feature successfully? We can eliminate the issue by asking these two questions. The problem lies in where we can duplicate the problem.
Please advise your findings. If it is deemed an issue with your Droid 3, please feel free to PM me so I can assist further with options to correct the issue.
Thank you and have a great day!

  • Issues with Bluetooth/Wireless Mighty Mouse since Snow Leopard Install

    Hi,
I am having issues with my bluetooth wireless mighty mouse. It was fine after initially having installed Snow Leopard. However, in the past week it has become progressively more and more unresponsive. It functions perfectly normal for the first while after startup, then after a short period of time it becomes slow to respond to the mouse movements that move the cursor. Eventually it gets to the point that moving the mouse results in no cursor movement whatsoever. It also becomes unresponsive to squeezing the side buttons. There are no issues with clicking or scrolling with the track ball.
I have searched the discussion forums to find issues that pertain to "bluetooth" and "wireless mighty mouse" and have tried the following suggested remedies... Repairing my Mouse with my Mac mini. Renaming my mouse. Deleting the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file from Macintosh HD\Library\Preferences and restarting my Mac. Reset PRAM and NVRAM. Also tried to install Bluetooth Firmware update 2.0.1 but I get an indication that the update is not needed on my Mac mini. I have also checked for software updates but there are none...
I am going to attempt resetting the SMC but am doubtful that this will help...
    Can anyone help... Please... ?
    Thanks,
    Des

I had read in another forum where someone had an understanding that the bluetooth problem had something to do with Airport/Time Capsule. I had also read about how someone was having an issue with being unable to turn off airport. (I had this same problem.)
Upon deleting a few airport related plist files (see below url) I was able to turn off/on airport AND my Mouse issue has no longer appeared... everything is working a-ok now.

  • TS1569 iphone ios5.1 still having issues with Bluetooth

Iphone Ios5.1 still having issues on Bluetooth connectivity.

I lost The Bluetooth function completely two weeks ago. iPHONE IOS 5.1 .
This is not a pairing issue, or wrong usage. Suddenly it didn't work in my car any longer. Resetting didn't help. I have tested against two other iPhones, my PC, my headset and my iPAD. (all this units have had BT connections with my iPHONE earlier)
My iPhone Bluerooth is simply not working anylonger, not detectable and cannot "see" or find any other BT devices.
Is this a software bug? Or simply a hardware error requiring physical repair?
    Cheers Rolf

  • Issues with Bluetooth Firmware Update 2.0?

I just installed the Bluetooth Firmware Update 2.0 as suggested by Software Update, Mac mini early 2009. On restart and login, the Bluetooth Firmware Update started immediately, and I have a beach ball / pinwheel cursor. No other program activity. Only menu bar items are Apple menu, Bluetooth Firmware Update, File, Edit, Window, and Spotlight.
Machine has been in this state for about 10 minutes (I wrote this on my /other/ Mac).
The Bluetooth keyboard (Apple wireless) /was/ used to login.
    Anyone else having issues?
    Thanks,
    Loyd

did install .... did restart .... now screen is gray for almost 1 hour .... really upsetting my small window for patience with the great apple gang ... have to race around to find computer to search for why and find nothing so i'll do force restart and see if that helps ....
the bluetooth update said it could take some time and to have power plugged in but they could have told how long and built in an exit ramp in case of this kinda "you're outta bizniz fellow" mess
any help out there ? thanks

  • Am I the only one (still...) having issues with Bluetooth after upgrading to iOS 8.1...?

    Hi fellas,
I guess my expectation level was way too high regarding this upgrade from iOS 8.0.2 to 8.1: my iPhone 6 still can't connect to Bluetooth peripherals, whatever they may be...
I have a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, and a PC with Windows 8.1 update on it, and none of them can pair with the iPhone, no matter how hard I try.
Have you guys found workaround measures or (hopefully) solutions?
I swore today was my last day going to work with the crappy Apple-issue headphones that came with the phone, and I'd pack my faithful Sony Ericsson BT to work tomorrow...

Your english is very good! For Handoff/Continuity to work you need Bluetooth turned on on both devices and they need to be in range of each other -- but you do NOT go to the Bluetooth setting on either device and pair them. I know that is unusual and can think of no other case where that is done using Bluetooth, but that is how it works for Handoff & Continuity.
The following are the other things needed from Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity
    How to get started:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices.
Turn on Bluetooth on all the devices you want to use. Make sure your devices are near each other.
Connect all your devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
    Turn off Handoff
To turn off Handoff on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps, and turn off the setting.
On your Mac, go to System Preferences > General and deselect the option to allow Handoff.
    Phone calls
With Continuity, you can make and receive cellular phone calls from your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac when your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
To make and receive phone calls, here's what you need:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices, including your Mac.
Your iPhone and your iPad or iPod touch need to use iOS 8 or later. Your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
All devices must be signed in to FaceTime using the same iCloud account. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. Look below for instructions on how to turn off iPhone cellular calls.
Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off. Go to Settings > Phone. If you see Wi-Fi Calling, turn it off.

  • Is anyone having "recent" issues with bluetooth connectivity on iPhone 4?

I haven't been using headset for a couple of months, but it is fully charged and paired. I started using it again recently, and as close as the phone on left hip, and headset in right ear, it gets choppy, or drops out. It even disconnects when I lay on my couch. The phone is on my chest, headset in right ear.  I turn my head to the right so only my head is between the two devices.  Last I checked, I didnt have a metal plate in my head!
I have iOS 5.01.  ProPlantronics Headset (for phone calls). And Philips SHB6100 (for music).  I have noticed cutout on the Philips headset while at the gym as well.
Just an observation: I didn't have this problem prior to iOs5.0.1

Just got off chat with Apple help desk. "Hope" told me solution is to do a complete network reset. (settings/general/reset/reset network settings) That would reset all your wifi and bluetooth passwords and pairings.
I read that turning off wifi helped the Motorola S10-HD cutout issues. I tried this and it did eliminate it. And now I have turned wifit back on (but do not currently have a wifi connection active) and the issue has not returned. I will check later when connected to wifi if the issue returns.

  • Having a connectivity issue with bluetooth in car only when using siri

Does anyone know of a fix for connectivity issues when using siri to dial a number when using bluetooth in a car? If the number is inputted manually then the call goes through. When asking siri to make the call, it starts to go through but then quickly disconnects. I noticed the problem soon after downloading IOS 8.

Apple has no fix for this.  I have been in contact with Apple customer service, engineering, etc. for over 2 months now.  Very disappointing, as it worked fine prior to iOS 8.0.

  • Update causes issue with bluetooth

I just upgraded my S4 with the "update_SCH-I545_MI1_to_MJ7" patch and now bluetooth audio will not work properly. I have several bluetooth headphones and speakers and the issue affects all of them. I can connect and play one song if I start the song from the S4 and not through bluetooth controls. However after one song it stops working. I have to disconnect and reconnect to play a second song and then it breaks after that.
Obviously there is some bugs in this latest upgrade. Is this a known issue and if so when is a fix anticipated?

schreib1620, let's get rid of these bugs. Have you downloaded 3rd party applications to your device? Some application software can affect the performance of your device soon after a software update. I recommend that you uninstall any unwanted applcation, power your device off/on to soft reset it, and test the bluetooth feature again. Keep us posted.

  • Issue with bluetooth conection

Hi, I've been having problems with the conection of bluetooth in my car stereo. it pairs normally but after some time connected it suddenly disconnects (whenever I receive a phone call mostly) I never had this problem with kitkat. What can I do?

  • Add Device issue with Bluetooth!

    Hi,
Earlier, my laptop could not detect any Bluetooth device, however; reading a post on MS community on the subject, I uninstalled all the devices under Bluetooth as shown in the Device Manager. After restart my Bluetooth could detect my devices and add the
    necessary drivers.
However; I am facing this rather differing behavior on Windows 8.1 Pro. If I try using Add Device option in PCand Devices section of Services Application, it does not detect any device - however; the same devices get detected if I go to Control Panel->Devices
and Printers->Add Device OR Settings->PC and devices-> Bluetooth
Logically, I presume Bluetooth devices should also get added under Settings->PC and devices->Devices->Add Device - but it does not.
Is this some kind of driver issue? Can someone help why this is happening.
Let me also state that Under the Device manager there are 2 drivers under Others section namely MS-ABTP and MS-TCC that show a little question mark. Property for MS Enumerator under Bluetooth shows use of these drivers.
Are the above issues linked if independent how do I resolve them?
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi K Sachin,
    What is your current situation?
Have you tried the solution as Nakii mentioned?
Please provide a shortcut about device manager for better analyzation.

Press and hold volume up and on/off keys at the same time until the phone reboots, then boot it into safe mode and check if this still happens when you enable Bluetooth.

  • Is anyone having issues with bluetooth phone connectivity with iOS6 upgrade in a VW?

Any voice commands made through the car end up in "call history"

The problem is that you're using an uncertified lightning to 30-pin connector (the blue cable).  If you purchase the 30-pin to lightning cable (either online, at an Apple store or an authorized dealer) it should work fine.
I have a 2011 Tuscon and tried the lightning to USB cable that came with the phone - no dice.  Talked to my local Hyundai dealer and they don't have an eta on the Hyundai lightning cables (I'm sure it's in the works).
