Issue with check optimiser statistics in DB13

We have scheduled Check Optimiser statistics and update optimiser statistics in our development server through DB13. But after execution of the action it is showing in red and no action log could be obtained. How to obtain the Action Log for both the Action and the shows the error 'SCHDEULING FAILED'?

The due item is getting picked up and a clearing document is getting generated. But Check is not being generated, niether can I see an entry in PAYR table. Cause:
"This is caused by zone indexed fields that were created outside of the Content Server interface. Dropping and recreating the zoned index fields should resolve the issue."
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
Log in to the Content Server through the browser as sysadmin.
Navigate to Administration -> Zone Fields Configuration.
On this page, change the value of the search engine in the dropdown list to DatabaseFullText if database full text indexing is being used. Leave it set to Database if database metadata only indexing is being used.
If there are fields listed in the left-hand box (Zone Text Fields):
Make a note of all the fields listed in the left-hand box (Zone Text Fields), or take a screenshot of this page.
Remove all of the fields from the Zone Text Fields box by highlighting each field and clicking the right arrow.
Click the Update button.
Run the following query directly against the database to see if any zoned fields are still present. The zoned fields can be identified by the ZFT suffix, for example, DDOCTITLE_REVISIONS_ZFT:
Select index_name from user_indexes where table_name = 'REVISIONS';
If any indexes with the ZFT suffix are returned in the results as an index, drop that index from the Revisions table in the database.
Verify that the error no longer appears.
Re-add any desired zoned field indexes through the Administration -> Zone Fields Configuration page.

Issues with Check In API

I'm using Adobe Drive 3.0.1.104 on Windows 7. When I drag and drop multiple assets into the Explorer Window, right-click those assets and choose "Check In..", none of the handlers associated with my custom checkin dialog (i.e., CanEnableCustomCheckInUIHandler, GetCustomCheckInUIContextInfoHandler and GetCustomCheckInUIHandler) are called. Only the default check in comments dialog appears. However, if I select a single asset for check in, then my handlers are correctly called. Is this the expected behavior? I want the user to be able to determine the type of object and some metadata in my CMS on import, but don't have this capability when multiple assets are selected.
The second issue I have is that the CanEnableCustomCheckInUIHandler, GetCustomCheckInUIContextInfoHandler do not have any visibility into non-remote assets through the API (i.e., assets with a null Asset ID). The getAssetIdentities() call only returns information about assets that already have an assetId. In these two handlers, I would like to make decisions and set context based on the the entire list of files, not just those that already live in the remote CMS.
The third issue I have is that I would like capture ContextInfo for each asset individually. For example, if a user checks in an InDesign file and a linked Image at the same time, I would like capture separate context info for each asset that I can store in my CMS. I might also want to capture global context that applies to all assets (i.e., the comments are a good example of this, but there could be others).
Based on these three issues, I am limited to allowing only one asset to be checked in at a time. However, with the current API, I can't even prevent a check in until my CheckInHandler is called, which is the first opportunity for me to throw an Exception to stop the checkin. In my opinion, this is not a good user experience because the user will be prompted to enter the comments and then get an error, which means they will loose the information they typed in the comments.
I'm mostly trying to provide feedback to improve the API, but if there is something I'm overlooking here, please let me know.

For the first issue and the second issue, yes, it's a design limitation, we will try to resolve it in the coming dot release, thanks for pointing out them
For the third issue, I think you can manage the context info for each item by utilizing IGetCustomCheckInUIContextInfoHandler, you can establish a data structure for the requested items, this structure will be passed to the your custom UI module, the UI module understands it and returns the context info to ICheckInHandler in the custom parameters, in a word, you should establish a comunication protocol between IGetCustomCheckInUIContextInfoHandler, the custom Flex UI module and ICheckInHandler about how to pass and manager the context info.
Regarding how to prevent a check-in, please provide your deep thoughts on it, we can discuss that in detail

Display issue with check boxes

Hi,
Does anyone know why checkboxes look like they are stroked with different weights when you are zoomed out, or even at 100%? Why does this happen? when I zoom in, all is fine, it's only when I'm viewing the whole page. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Not sure, but my guess it is simply a matter of the line weight you used (pixels or points) for the box border. When you zoom out, the program is attempting to place the information you have on a 96dpi (typical) screen. Thus the translation from your resolution to the screen resolution may vary with the location on the screen and how a line falls compared to the pixels representing it.

There is another error in the method:
the I_DATASOURCE = i_datasource is missing and that's a mandatory import parameter
It should look something like this:

Beside this one there is something else missing in his pdf:
On page 8 he said:
Create a new method and name it: _TEMPLATE_DATASOURCE.
Then click over the name of the new method and paste the following code:
dont create a new one but make a copy of IF_EX_RSU5_SAPI_BADI~DATA_TRANSFORM
This will create the a DATA_TRANSFORM method with all the parameters needed.

permanent solution:
do not update DB_STATS at the same time as updating /BI* tables.
until then, simply rebuild this indexes online:
sqlplus / as sysdba
alter index "SAPSOL"."/BIC/B0000029000KE" rebuild online;
exit;

Issues with Analysis Authorization checks in APO

Hi Friends,
I am facing an issue with Analysis authorization checks in APO.
We have setup user access based on Management Entity (Analysis authorization - AGMMGTENT and 0TCAACTVT) and core APO authorizations (based on the work profile - e.g: Demand Planner).
Scenario: Consider User A has access to India and Australia Management Entities with 0TCAACTVT - *
This user also has display access to all management Entities (AGMMGTENT - * and 0TCAACTVT - 03). This scenario works very well in Quality where the RSECADMIN trace shows check on both Characteristics. However in Production the RSECADMIN trace shows up only against AGMMGTENT (*) and by default takes 0TCAACTVT as (*).
In Quality the Characteristics that get checked are as below : and it works as expected. Display access for Management Entities that are supposed to be displayed only and change access to only the Management Entities that it should.
However the Trace for Production shows the following : As a result it is allowing the user to change access to all management Entities. Which is not desirable..
Resultant trace results are as below: This should not happen..
I have compared all Analysis Authorizations and it is same across both Instances. The Demand planner access is consistent too..
Will it be possible for you to advise on what could I be missing.

If it helps, in Quality: the Authorization checks are listed as: Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1
while in Production it checks Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1 in one place, however where it fails - the check happens as Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 0.
Is there a way we can change this to SUBNR 1. Is there any table entry that I can look at to check if the Authorization check is functioning incorrectly..

Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

The most common reason for this error is, that you have used a page layout that needs a background photo and you have not yet added the backdrop. Then the book is still showing some default grayscale image.
Check, if one of your page layouts is using this background:

Re-issue voided checks with same check number

Hi All,
We accidentally voided a check which has already been received by the vendor. We want to re-issue the check in our system, but it wont reconcile as the check numbers are different. Is it possible to change the check number?

Lets assume that the cheque numbers that were voided were from 10001 to 10521. So create a payment document against the same bank account which was used earlier and assign the document numbers 10001 to 10521. Now again create a new payment batch with the same set of parameters as provided previously. Ensure that the same invoices are selected by the batch (no less or more). Now submit the batch. This way the system should assign the same cheque number to the supplier sites which were issued previously. So if a supplier was issued 10002 cheque number with an amount of $1000 previosuly, then this batch should also issue the same cheque number for the same amount against that supplier. Please ensure that the system is bahving in the same way as thought. Else you might have to generate manual payments for each of these 521 payments :(.
In this way, you will not be required to do any swapping or run any custom script. While reconciling, you will match the bank payments with this new payments.

Login Issues with license check

Hi All,
We have had some issues with starting the database after a virus attack on our network. We have now sorted this out with the help of an Oracle DBA. We can now start the database as well as the central instance fine.
But, when our users are trying to login, they are getting the error "Logon not possible (error in license check). I have also tried with the SAP* and DDIC users in 000 client. But no luck.
O/S:    Windows 2000 Server
DB:     Oracle 9i
SAP:   4.7 EE
Can someone help me plz?

Regarding the error "Logon not possible (error in license check),
Few suggestions:
1. Please copy and paste the output from the following commands:
   -> saplicense -version
   -> saplicense -install trace=2    (this generate dev_slic file)
   -> saplicense -get
   -> saplicense -show
2. DB connect problem... Sometimes this error can occur when there are
connection problems to the central instance. During logon system checks
if a valid license is installed by reading the entries in table MLICHECK.
SAP* will bypass the MLICHECK check. So, sometimes this error can occur when there are connection problems to the central instance (message server). This could be a temporary problem. Please try to restart your SAP servers if this helps.
3. See SAP note 359944, 193800
4. Copy and paste the output of command "R3trans -dx"
5. Check the file /etc/services for missing entries, example like
   sapms<SID> 3600/tcp
   sapdp00    3200/tcp
   sapdp99    3299/tcp
   sapgw00    3300/tcp
   sapgw99    3399/tcp
6. use the message-server-test tool 'lgtst' as per SAP note
64015 to see whether you can connect to the server.
7. can you ping the message server ? check parameter rdisp/mshost, IP
address on host table ?

Issue with the storage check if files are uploaded...

There is an issue with (photo) updloads to SkyDrive filling the temporary items. When I started to upload photos to Skydrive, I had about 2.4 GB free space on my Lumia 820 and after a while the whole memory was full. I uploaded successfully about 600MB of photos, but the same time the phone filled the temporary items to 2.4GB and thus went to full stop with all memory gone. And I haven't had any success of freeing up the temporary items.
Basically, whatever I upload to the Skydrive it goes to the temp files and that cannot be cleared using Storage check option.
Can you please help me on this?

1. finished goods contain finished garments which contain washed garments accordingly>sewing garments>print panel>cut panel>fabric
2. before going production we need to check all the component materials as well as their components are available or not.
3. so our idea is we will create one BOM no 7 which will contain all components under finished goods. and we need to check material availablity with this BOM no
4. successively we will split the BOM into different group and assign them under different components as applicable in BOM no 1 which we wants to use while issue.
please suggest whether it is possible and if yes then how can i do this.

Requirement: System issue Warning / Error message in case of movement quantity is more than available quantity - safety stock quantity while making goods movements.
This is actual requirement - Ex. Material un-res stock = 10 pcs and material master safety stock set as 5 pcs. So, if any reservation, goods issue, transfer postings done with quantity 7 pcs - system issue message as ' on date xxxxx only 5 pcs available' (i.e 10 available - 5 safety = remaining 5 relevant for movement).
For this Dynamic availability check created with checking rule and assing rule with trasaction OVZ9 and OMB1 similar for Reservations.
Make the message to be shown either Warning or Error and transaction types also assign the rule.
BUT do suggest to do regression test cross functionality wise whether any where this message breaking background operations like - auto reservation from production , sales order etc.

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?
