Issue with Deploying and calling a BPEL process on ALBPM enterprise server
Hi,
I am trying to put in place a POC using Aqualogic BEA products (using ALBPM 5.7, Enterprise Server 5.7, ALSB 2.6, Weblogic App server 9.2). My goal is to put in place a simple BPEL process (using ALBPM) which would call a webservice exposed through ALSB. This BPEL process is initiated by a wrapper BPMN process calling the BPEL process through fuego code.
Though we are able to do the above on a standalone ALBPM studio, When we try to deploy the exported BPM project on the enterprise server and access it through the hiper workspace portal we are getting the following error in the BPM Process Administrator Log of the Engine.

Two things here that might help to understand the problem better :
1) As I understand the error is due to some issue while calling the BPEL process from the Fuego code.
The Fuego code which call's the BPEL from the BPMN process is as follows :

2) Further, I had catalogued the BPEL's wsdl to the location http://localhost:9000/fuegoServices/ws/ProcessServiceListener?WSDL while running the same in Studio, but while deploying on the enterprise server , I made this point to http://localhost:7001/fuegoServices/ws/ProcessServiceListener?WSDL Is this correct ?
Any thought on this issue would be appreciated.

I've tried to use the file adapters feature "Files contain Multiple Messages" Publish Messages in batches of.." This did not work. ( root element expected exceptions ).
I've also tried to invoke an extra async routing service with a mapping which removes the root element. This also doesn't work as it leaves the following ( incorrect ) xml message at the end.

Which is logical considering how an XSL transformation works.

Any help is appreciated!You shoul create a while loop, that loops through XML payload for each row. Than you can process each individual row. See also example:

Issues with WSDL file loading in BPEL process Composite

When I am trying to open a already working composite from a different machine in my machine, it start giving error
it is unable to build "Unable to load WSDL file", I have all the webservices in different machine OSB and my machine
is targeting that machine OSB with IP address, In my BPEL process I am using localhost, I am able to see all the methods
in composite and dosent shows any error, but when I try to compile it it gives unable to load WSDL file.

YatanI suppose, any unhandled exception in the one-way BPEL process could have caused rollback of the instance and hence the instance might not be seen. Add fault handlers-catch/catch-all blocks in the one-way BPEL process if not done already, and test.

Issues with IFrame and calling an application outside the IFrame

I have an issue which is really turning my head 360 degrees in a "dead loop":)
I have a WebDynpro application, one component and three views in a viewset.
The first view will always be placed in column one and depending on some action the two other views should be loaded one by one. So in the main view the users will select three parameters from three dropdownboxes and then a call with the given parameters to an html file in KM - which then again is passing the parameters to a swf file which is presenting an Business Objects dashboard. The BO Dashboard is presented in an iFrame.
The users selects an element in the Dashboard and is then again calling the webdynpro application with four parameters, the three first from the dropdownboxes, but also a new one which is used to call the third view. I am using NavigationTarget in the URL to load the application at the given position in the portal. And the logic is working, BUT the portal is presented in the IFram of the first View.
So my question is - How to navigate from the IFrame and "back into the portal"????

Creating a new serilaization file via AAMEE and running it resolved the issue.

And then run it via command line.
Here are the steps:
AdobeSerialization (serialization file created using AAMEE 3.1) is not a double clickable file. You need to run it via command line to serialize the products. the command line is -
AdobeSerialization --tool=VolumeSerialize --stream --provfile=”Absolute_Path_of_prov.xml”
where
--tool=VolumeSerialize: specifies that the tool needs to process the prov.xml file to serialize.
--provfile” specifies the absolute file path to the prov.xml file,
By default, the tool looks for the prov.xml file in the same directory as the executable file and so
typically you do not need to specify this option. (Specify this option only if the prov.xml file is in some
other location.)
Make sure you invoke command prompt with Admin privileges. Return code of zero means success.

Issues with one way invocation in BPEL Process
We have a synchronous BPEL Process that invokes that calls a one-way BPEL Process.It was working fine. But now we are encountering a intermittent issue in Production
We could see that the synchronous BPEL Process is invoking the One way BPEL Process and getting completed. But we could see no instance is created for the one way BPEl Process.
Its a critical issue we are encountering . How to create and deploy a JSP which calls a BPEL process in JDEVELOPER

I don't know how to create a JSP in JDEVELOPER which call a BPEL process. I have gone through the tutorials. Since, I am new to JDEVELOPER I need some help.
1. How to create a JSP (I know creating application and project, also I know JSP coding)
2. How to deploy this JSP?
3. For the Synchronos BPEL project, the build.xml is created automatically, in this forum, I see people talking about ear war .deploy etc. How do we get them automatically created. Or do we need to create them manually. If it has to be manual some sample scripts would be of great help.
Any help in this regard would be really great.

I created a simple jsp file in a project, followed the steps in the tutorial and it got deployed onto: http://localhost:9700
For invoking BPEL process through JSP, I have reused the jsp files available in : 102.InvokingProcesses\jsp and changed the processes and input accordingly.

Calling a BPEL process from EDN
Hi all,
I'm in trouble to try to communicate two BPEL process via EDN (Event Delivery Network).
The example is quite simple:
TestProcess is a BPEL process which exposes a SOAP service, performs some tasks and wait for an event through a receive activity ( it acts as event subscriber).
TestProcessEvent is a BPEL process which exposes a second SOAP service that publish the event to EDN ( it acts as event publisher).
The test I performed is:
start an instance of TestProcess and verify it is on running state, waiting for the event.
start an instance of TestProcessEvent and verify if the event is delivered and then verify the instance of TestProcess resumes.
Unfortunately TestProcessEvent finished but the event isn't propagated to TestProcess that remains running.
I have also tried using correllation, but in this case the error is:
ORABPEL-03812
java.security.PrivilegedActionException: oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException
Cannot find property alias.
Cannot find the property alias "{....}"".
Please check your BPEL/WSDL source to make sure that property alias "{...}" has been defined.
I suspect that the first issue (event is not propagated by BPEL process) is related to the problem with correlation.

Are you running the webservice on the same app-server as BPEL PM?
If so, what app-server do you use? According to the jar files you mention I assume Oracle AS 10g. Do you have your WS in the Home or the OC4J_SOA container?
Make sure that the jars you mention are available to the container you run your WS in.
Most of the libraries you mention are AS libraries. What I usually do is split my Webservices in two projects. One is a plain java project that does the job (in your case calling BPEL with the proper variables) en one J2EE project that implements the webservice part and calls the plain java project. The plain-java-project only gets the libraries it really needs. So no J2EE libs for example. In your case, probably only orabpel.jar and maybe orabpel-common and orabpel-boot.jar is needed. And if you're doing xml, then the xmlparserv2.jar. The jars you need for the plain-java-project are the only jars you need to deliver with the webservice. You can create shared libraries for it or add them to the lib folder of the AS. The libraries the J2EE project needs are appserver libraries that you don't need to deliver.
I find it best practice to minimize the libraries you deliver to only those really needed, without the J2EE libs. Every other library you deliver out of "Easyness" is mistify your view on problems.
You can try to add these libraries as a shared library. Or add them in one of the deployment steps. Or if these two don't work, try to ship them in your war-file.
Hope this helps.
If you need more help, may be you should dig up some errors. Look in to the servers logs, for example the logs in <Soa_home>/opmn/logs. Especially the one of the container your webservice is running in.

Call to BPEL Process from JSP - Not working!
Hi All,
I'm trying to execute the sample JSP page provided in the BPEL Guide, which calls the BPEL "CreditRatingService" service.
The JSP Page compiled normally, but it does not invoke the BPEL Process. The JSP Page is just waiting.. the browser is loading the page for ever..which means it is not able to call the BPEL process. If i comment the below code

then the page is displaying..

I found the below error mesage
<ERROR> <collaxa> <ProcessJob::execute> Timed out reading http:.........
from C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\bpel\system\logs\orabpel.txt log file.
But this log file is generated when I start my SOA Suite and not when I open the JSP Page. But I'm guessing may be for the same reason, it the not calling the BPEL process.
I don't have any issues while I deploy the BPEL process or calling the BPEL Process from the console.

1) First one is using utl_http package of PL/SQL
In this case u can create SOAP request message & send it as Http request to your deployed BPEL process.
This package provides some methods like

Unable to call a BPEL Process from ESB
Has anyone worked on Oracle ESB ?
I've implemented an ESB Scenario where, based on some value, either it should call one BPEL process otherwise it should call another BPEL Process. But, Routing Service is unable to call either of the service.
Can anyone help me out?

RegardsI am able to call the bpel processes from the bpel console. I tried to use the TCP Packet Monitor but it shows waiting for connection and doesn't turn up. I checked the port number. The local server port is correct but I dont know how to check the listener port for it i.e. by default showing 1234.

your normal BPEL process (a regular process you create with the "new BPEL process" wizard), can be configured in Oracle application server to be accessible
- via SOAP over HTTP or
- via JMS
since it is has a WSDL based service interface.
JDeveloper as well allows additionally more options for starting a BPEL process such as a file based interface, an e-mail as a starter etc.
Still, I like to see the ESB as a virtualizer of the endpoint protocol, so I suggest you model the BPEL process regularly, exposing its functionality through WSDL and use ESB services that wrap your BPEL process to deal with the actual endpoints.

In order to call the BPEL process using JSP I may get the Reference from Oracle guide, But it is for Existing Example like Hello world, Order Booking.

Routing issue with ASA and UC540 phone system - at ASA???
Having an issue with routing from the PC at .242 to the CUE server at 10.1.10.1. The CUE server is built into the UC540 phone system. It is an internal piece of software that is used for voicemail and management. The UC540 is not only a call router, it is also an IOS router. It has it's own WAN connection as does the ASA.
Here are some facts:
1. Can ping the UC540's internal CUE server from the PC ( ping to 10.1.10.1 )
2. Can ping the UC540's VLAN 1 address from the PC ( ping to 10.1.10.1 )
3. The ASA is the default gateway for the PC.
4. I have a route inserted at the asa that is:
route 10.1.10.1 255.255.255.0 10.19.250.254 1
5. I have a nat statement that prevents NAT from occuring but I don't think this is necessary as the 10.1.10.0/24 network isn't otherwise defined on the ASA.
6. I cannot pull up a web page when I point the browser on the PC to the 10.1.10.1 address
7. I CAN pull up a web page on the PC when I create a static route on the PC iteslf :
route add 10.1.10.1 mask 255.255.255.0 10.19.250.254
Is is only with this route that I am able to get to the web GUI on the phone system.
8. The phone system has a loopback interface at 10.1.10.2 that serves as the gateway for the internal CUE server, the internal CUE server is at 10.1.10.1
9. The switch is a 2960 and has a trunk port to the phone system to allow for the voice vlan which is at 10.1.1.0/24, no issues with this vlan and phones are connecting to the system fine.
Since I can get the GUI to come up when I set a static route on the PC, then I would assume that the routing in the phone system with it's internal server is fine as it wouldn't work otherwise. Since I can successfully ping the CUE server from the PC, that would lead me to believe that the ASA's routing is setup correctly..... TCP traffic doesn't seem to get to/from the CUE server.

Where you able to solve this problem? It does sound like an issue with TCP state checking on the ASA. The Firewall needs to see both sides of the traffic but the return traffic is going from your UC540 direct to the PC. The firewall essentially kills the traffic.
I would recommend disabling TCP state checking on the ASA and see if it works. Otherwise, you will need to stub route the UC540 as a separate VLAN off the ASA which needs to route through the ASA to reach the PC.
