Issue with EAN/UPC field in "BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA"

Hello guys,
I have a requirement where I am using the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to create a new material by using a reference material. The question is how can i pass EAN/UPC field into it?
This field exists in Basic Data1 tab in MM01 screens. I am not getting how to pass values into the INTERNATIONALARTNOS type BAPI_MEAN ?? This is there as table parameters in the BAPI?

What our Friend said is correct it comes from Material master- Basic data 1 view. But for this you will have to do proceed with configuration settings in
IMG --> Logistics General --> Settings for Key Fields --> International Article numbers (EAN)
a. You will have to define number of ranges for EANs/UPCs
b. Define Prefixes
c. Define Attributes - (Define number or EAN CAtegories) its here you need to maintain internal or external
d. Define no ranges for perishables
you can maintain data internally or externally based on your config settings. I have tried it in my material master maintained EA - perishable EA Category in MM automatically an internal no got assigned in EAN field after saving i raise a sales order the no. is reflecting in my sales order item details under sales tab - field.

Issue with the material field in ME23N after upgrade

Hi Experts,
We are having an issue with transaction ME23N in ECC6.0 after upgrade from 4.6c.
In this transaction for the given PO the value of the material is not populating. The material coloumn is displaying but the value of the material is not coming.
For the same PO with the same data we are able to see the material number in ME23N in 4.6c.
Please help me to resolve this.

Hi,
If you are a functional consultant then check the configuration settings in SPRO and compare it with the one in 4.6c system to find if the material number display in ME23N is enabled in your new system or not. Go to tcode SPRO and Material Management-> Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Screen Layout at Document level.
Execute this and select on ME21N or tcode that you are having problem with. Then press details button and double click on Enjoy fields. Check if it Display check box is ticked or not.

Issues with DNG Flat Field Plug-in after installing updates

Hello,
First of all many thanks to the Lightroom-team for making the DND Flat Field Plug-in available. I am using it to correct images taken with non-retrofocus M-mount lenses on a Sony NEX-7. I have previously used CornerFix, which worked fine, but the workflow in conjunction with Lighroom isn't really convenient.
Now to the issue I am facing: initially, the plug-in worked very well, but after installing all recent CS6 updates, I am now receiving the following after selecting the reference image:
A new DNG-file is still created, with some adjustments being made, but it looks like not all vignetting and color casts are being corrected. After dismissing the above message, Lightroom keeps showing the flat field correction task as still in progress:
This can be cancelled, and I can continue to use LR without any problems. When I attempt another flat field correction, I face the same issue.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? And is it possibly correlated with the installation of a specific CS6 update (of which there have been quite a few over the past week or so)?
I should probably note that I'm running LR 4.2 on Mac OS X 10.7.5 and a Mac Pro 2008 with 24GB RAM.

I had the exact same issue with LR4.2, that is until yesterday. Then I did not get the error but I did not get the flat field image either. All I got was the original image indicating that it was in a group of two but the second image was not there. Tried synchronize but no image was indicated.as available. Processing did not hang and indicated that it went to completion. Must be a problem with 4.2 as it worked with 4.1. With 4.1 I got no grouping, just a new file with "ff" appended to the name.
Asside: I am using a shift adapter with a E-M5 and 28mm OM legacy lens. I shoot three images for a pano, then set the shift back to starting point and shoot three flat field image. Problem (not Adobe's fault) it that I often forget to shoot the flat fliel images. Break down to move on and then realize - Oh Crap! When I remember and using 4.1 it works well.

Report with EAN/UPC by article/vendor

We are looking for a report of EAN/UPC numbers by article. We would like to be able to select by Article, Vendor and/or Merchandise Category. If there are multiple EAN/UPCs by vendor, each should be listed with it's category.
Although I could write such a report in ABAP, it seems that this should be a standard report. Does any one know a t-code for such a report?

I donot think there is a standard report to List the materials (Or Articles in IS - Retail) by EAN numbers.
I do not know the Business requirement, but I can tell you that when you go to MM03 and ask for the list of matrials, you can select the materials based on the selection Criteria (List materials by EAN), which will give you all the matrials for which EAN has been maintained.
Unlucky. MM60 does not have the option you are looking

Problem Importing XML Issue with FLAT MultiValued Field.

I'm importing parts to my repository with a number of fields. This import is used to both UPDATE existing parts as well as add new parts to the catalogs. We want the fields in the import to be updated. There is one flat MultiValued Field that we need to hold just the value that we're adding in the XML. This should overwrite the others. I have tried many different configurations. I want to know how to make this change happen without overwriting fields that are no contained in the XML.

Map the multivalued field with the source field, then right click on the maultivalued field at destination side, right click on it and set Multi-Valued Update = Replace . By default this property is set to Append which simply append the values from the source field.

Issue with Duplicate Merge Fields in PDFs

I have been utilizing merge fields from our Salesforce instance into our Forms and Contracts for a couple of years now and have never come across this issue. Since we utilize Salesforce, we will have certain merge fields duplicated on multiple pages. For instance, the Record Owner's Name and Firm from their User records will be on different pages, but will be coming from the same source and need to show the same information. Everything seems to be fine once the documents have been merged, it is printing that is causing the issue.
If I place "Master.Owner_Name" into the PDFs on multiple pages, it will change the name to "Master.Owner_Name#1" and "Master.Owner_Name#0". So now when our users are printing the documentation, the fields are printing out vertically.
Has anyone seen this issue before and how were you able to resolve?

PDF forms are not Salesforce forms and do not work in the same way.
Within a PDF form any field with same type of field and same name will share the same value.
All fields should be uniquely named.
LiveCycle form behave differently and do support same field names with different values unless a field is configured as a global field.
The usual way to have multiple copies of a from within a single PDF is to use a template to make the multiple copies and uniquely name the fields on the copy of the form.

Issue with custom search fields in agent inbox

Hi All,
I am working on CRM agent inbox 7.0. The issue I am facing is like this:
I have added custom search fields in inbox. When give a combination of standard search field and custom search field, the result is only based on standard field. The value of custom field is not considered.
Is this a standard behaviour? Are standard fields given higher priority that custom fields?
Any pointers on this would be highly helpful.

Did you add custom field using AET? If yes then while adding custom field using AET did you make it search and result relevant?
There is nothing like priority in standard SAP fields and custom fields.

Issue with Purchasing Price field(Hungary Currency HUF)

The issue we are facing is related to Hungary Currency HUF, Currency without decimal place. In our scenario we import the data through a flat file with price and currency. After import and displayed on our custom screen the value gets multiplied by a factor of 100.
As this is a common issue for Hungary Currency. Please suggest if there is a better solution that can be implemented or if there is SAP note that can be implemented. I had searched for a sap note no 1240163 but the note is applicable in SAP BW component only.

Issues with a Z field in an append structure of VBAP when calling BAPI

We have added a Z field on table VBAP with an append structure. It is a flag field. We want to change its value with the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE. We have also created the append structure in API structures
THe return message of the bapi gives us a success message for the modification. But when we go to the se16 we still see the field as blank, not with the X suposed to be there.
We are succesfully calling the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
What can cause us this problem? What can we do to solve it??

I have a pl/sql page that is the output of a select statement with some conditions.
One of the condition is like:
AND MyColumn between (:P1_MyDateItem - 7 , :P1_MyDateItem)
but as soon as I include an addition or substraction (:P1_datefield - 7) , I get ORA-06550: line 18, column 28: PL/SQL: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected DATE got NUMBER
How can I resolve that error?
Also,
I am trying to pass the date field to a second page in a hidden field. In a similar scenario as the one described above, how can I manipulate the date using the hidden field. ie. in my testing, I think it kind of converts the "date" into "char' format?? can I also do the same manipulation "Date-7" but this time using a hidden field instead?

Yes, if that's what you want to do. A date field is just a text box, made nicer with the jQuery Date Picker.

only difference being the display type.
Just remember to convert it to a date in your pl/sql code.

No, what I mean is that data you enter into the Number1 field added in a Resource view (Resource Sheet for example) will not show the same data as the Number1 field added in a task view. See FAQ51 at: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm
If you are seeing the correct data in the Task view, you can try applying the built-in Resource Group - but the issue will be that you will not see the total per resource. For example - if Resource1 and Resource2 are assigned to one task and then Resource2
and Resource3 are assigned to another task, you won't see the individual details for Resource 2.

Issue with Popup LOV field not clearing out "default" value

I am using APEX 4.0 & Oracle 10g
I have a form that displays a default value on a "Popup LOV" field (say P1_POPUP) when the Form is initially displayed to the user. The default value is part of the Popup LOV list of values. If the field is "manually cleared" *i.e. I clear the default value by backspacing and don't touch the LOV) and I Refresh (submit) the form (REFRESH button to display the same Form again), the default value is still displayed.
In Post Processing, I debugged the value of P1_POPUP to see if holds the default value and yes it does. I was expecting no value in P1_POPUP.
Is this an APEX standard behavior?
Any way how I can get rid of this value on an manually clearing action of this Pop Up field?

I apologize, the default value was NULL indeed. However, it seems like I may need to manually clear this value so that it will not be displayed.

Issue with clear input field icons in IE10

Hi,
In IE10, every input field displays a clear icon (an "x").
I need to remove these icons through CSS (if you delete the date field, an error is displayed).
Following MS solutions are not working in ADF:
