Issue with facebook information being added to contacts?

Hello,
On my z10 when I set it up, I set up a facebook account as well, and it added facebook account information to some of my contacts (most of which were added though gmail CardDav).
I tried deleting the account and readding it to see if I could get facebook information with ALL of my accounts (so I could respond to messages through hub).
Now it's not showing any facebook information.
Help please.

Open Contacts and swipe from the top and go into settings. Is Facebook showing as On? Also is there a checkmark for use cloud services at the bottom?
Also what version of BlackBerry 10 are you using? Go to Settings>About to find this information.

I swapped SIM cards with another iPhone 4 running ios 4 and established this is a device problem, not a SIM card problem.

Does the device get any signal?
Sounds like the device may have had a hardware failure. If it is out of warranty, the only option is the Out of Warranty replacement.
AppleCare is only an option if it is still under the original warranty.

All of us here are users just like you. We have no inside info of when Apple products or operating system updates/upgrades will be released. The next iOS may not even change the issue you have.

If you're using IOS 4.2.1, you can not download facebook. I have had the same problems and now just use safari to go on facebook. Hope this helps

Issues with Facebook; Chat window problems; can't minimize window , and send chat as message when one receiver logs off.

While using Firefox I have an 2 issues with Facebook chat. 1. Cannot minimize (-) the chat window, only close it (x). When the receiver in chat logs off and a message didn't go through- the option to "send message as email" doesn't work. These have been ongoing problems for several months. I don't have these issues when I use Safari.

No. They are not being created by the phone. They are being created by your mail system, whether that is Exchange, Yahoo, Google, etc. They all have settings to automatically create contacts from people you correspond with. There is no setting on the phone to control this. Check the settings for your mail account with or talk to your IT department.

Alignment issues with menu widget and added web safe fonts

I wanted to use a font that was not already on the web safe list so I added one. I have a background rectangle I drew in muse for the main navigation to center on. In muse, I have to shift the menu almost entirely off the rectangle for it to appear centered on the rectangle in the browser. The sub nav I created has a background fill to match the rectangle the main nav sits on. Even though there is no overlapping in muse, there is overlapping of the sub nav fill and the rectangle behind the main nav in the browser. So it looks like 50% white fill on top of 50% white fill. It's obvious and looks stupid! Is this a program bug??? Using CC muse.

I have this issue fixed. But now I'm having a new issue with objects shifting. I really think it's just Muse and the program is buggy! I have read and watched everything I can find on Muse and it's supposed to be so simple a print designer can create beautiful websites. Well, I am a web designer. I understand code. I have used Dreamweaver for 8 years. I wanted to see what was so great about Muse. I'm finding out NOTHING! Because of it's bugs I spend hours trying to fix problems the program creates. Issues with Facebook (Mobile Site)

I'm having issues with the Facebook App. I have the Blackberry 3G (9330) thru Sprint and I updated my Blackberry Software from 5.0 to 6.0. Since then, the Facebook (Mobile site) will allow me to type of up to around 20 characters when submitting my status or sending an email. Once it I type around 20 characters, the screen freezes and then it boots me out of the FB (Mobile site) and goes to the Bookmark page. I reinstalled that App thinking it may have not installed properly and may have affected the Facebook Mobile site but I'm still having the same problem. However, when I use the Facebook App, I'm able to update my status and send email using more than the 20 characters that's allowed in the Facebook (Mobile site). Is there something I can do to have this corrected? I like the mobile site better because I can see my friend's birthdays on the main page and it offers more options than the FB App.

After playing around with the settings, I found that if you have the "Assistive Input by Keyboard" under Options/Typing set to Predictive, it will interfere with any data that is keyed into the Facebook browser and cause it to freeze. I changed the setting to direct instead of Predictive and this resolved the issue. Thanks for your help!

Any issues with server 2008R2 being a backup AD when the Primary AD is a 2003 that was upgraded from NT

Someone recently told me if a customer has a Windows 2003 server that originally came from NT which was upgraded to Windows 2000, then upgraded to 2003 as their primary AD, if you add a 2008R2 server as a backup AD, it will upgrade the forest, but there
is an issue with the global catalog not properly replicating to the 2008R2 backup server and thus if the primary Windows 2003 server were to crash the backup 2008R2 server will not be able to authenticate users.
Can you tell me if this is true? It seems rather odd to me that if the 2008R2 is able to become a backup controller without any errors and does not report any AD or replication errors in the event log that it would not work if the primary AD failed.

This is not true & never heard/seen of anything as such. The AD database either on windows 2003 or 2008 R2 contains similar objects & attributes, but few groups are only created when you transfer PDC role to windows 2008 & above DC esp if you
are using RODC.Also, there is no concept of primary & secondary DC from windows 2000 & above. PDC & BDC concepts existed in windows NT not any more.
The DC with GC role have bit more information because it contains partial information of the objects in other domain too. So, i would be taking backup of the windows 2008 R2 DC. As long as DLF/FFL is not enhanced you can run windows 2003 & 2008 R2 DC
in coexistence.
My suggestion would be transfer FSMO role on the windows 2008 R2 DC becasue may be at some point of time you would get rid of windows 2003 DC to enjoy full features of windows 2008 R2 AD.

Issues with Facebook App on T-mobile iPhone 5

I'm having issues with the Facebook app on my iPhone 5 (Tmobile). I read and replied to a friend's Facebook message, and his profile pic now appears as a "bubble" near the top right of the screen and won't disappear. How can I remove the bubble pic?

Aperture 3.4.1 sync issue with Facebook

When I upload an picture to Facebook, it won't sync anymore with Aperture.
Any one having the same problem?

I had the following exchange with one of my daughters who is quiet expert with Facebook: me) Are there single photo uploads via the iPhone that would not be treated like an album on Facebook? Daughter) Yes, they would be in mobile uploads folder, or wall photos. Sometimes there are multiple wall photo albums.
Where did you find your photo? The folders she is talking about would likely not get picked up by Aperture on sync.

Any issues with still images being too large?

I am going to be given lots of images that were scanned at a high resolution (I think 300), so the file size and physical dimensions should be pretty large. I want to start placing these images into the timeline, even though I do not know yet which ones I will need to zoom in on and which I will not need to do anything with other than just have it display.
1.) Are there any issues with placing lots of images like these into the timeline of a SD project at a higher resolution and larger physical dimension than maybe necessary?
2.) If I want to use placeholder images, is there an easy way to later swap them with the real image, and have the swapped image take the properties of the placeholder image, such as the duration it lasts on screen and the fade transition before and after it?

This is dependent on the version of FCP. If you're working with FCP 5.1.2 or later, still image processing is handled by the GPU. Depending on what graphics card you've got, it can be painfully slow even at SD resolutions because image size (pixel dimensions, not bit-depth) is what is relevant.
2.) If I want to use placeholder images, is there an easy way to later swap them with the real image, and have the swapped image take the properties of the placeholder image, such as the duration it lasts on screen and the fade transition before and after it?
In theory, you should be able to do a Paste Attributes and paste Contents but that functionality has been broken since FCP 5.x. It works, but not for the very thing that you'd need it to do - both images now need to be the same size, duration and matching timecode for this to work correctly in your case.
However, you might be able to work around that limitation by trying this:
Select your placeholder image in the timeline and copy (Commmand-C)
Load your final image into the Viewer and press F11 to perform a Replace Edit.
Be mindful of where your Playhead is in both the Viewer and Timeline, of course, as the Replace Edit uses the Playhead and not marked In or Out
Select the newly replaced image and perform a Paste Attributes (Option-V), selecting the relevant attributes (Basic Motion, Crop, etc)
Of course, this might not suit what you're looking to do since stuff like Center is pixel-based rather than percentage-based (like Crop is).

Has anyone had issues with Serial Numbers being revoked?

I have just bought a brand new "Mac Mini Server" and along with that purchased "Adobe CS6 Design Standard" software. It is NOT an upgrade but rather a fresh install. When I inserted the disk and entered the Serial Number from the box an error message came up saying the "serial number you entered has been revoked. After some research, I tried to register it through Adobe and entered the SN. Again I got, "the code you entered is invalid. I contacted support, gave them the serial number. They say that the code is invalid and not generated by Adobe, that the code must be a 24 digit number. (The number is gave is a 24 digit number.) Never the less, Adobe has instructed me to contact the seller for a serial number.
My concern is this, the software was purchased through amazon.com and went to a third party supplier. The supplier is well established, being in business for years, with very high review rates. The software that I got appears to be good. It has an Adobe UPC code label complete with an adobe hologram imprint within the label and PN number. The seals on the package are original and does not appear to have been tampered with. The serial number is on an inside package and could not be seen unless it was opened.
Sorry for the long story but just wanted to know if anyone else had issues like this to prepare myself for a possible battle. Thanks for any help you can be.

People that look for help in these forums rarely make return appearances to try to help others - meaning it is unlikely anyone with first-hand experience with your problem will be around to reply - but you never know. You are probably better off going back to the vendor and seeing if there will be a battle to worry about or not. If the vendor is as reliable as reviews would make them seem you should expect assistance as opposed to resistance.
And don't be afraid to try contacting someone else in Adobe Support. Some folks are not as knowledgeable/helpful as others and can provide wrong information.
