Issue with federation between OBIEE 11.1.1.5 and Essbase ASO Cube 11.1.2.1

Hi All,
I am trying to retrieve relational attributes from a confirmed dimension to the Essbase Cube.
However I am facing lot of issues/errors during rpd development.
Both the Essbase Cube hierarchy and Table that contians attributes are from same relational source.
Essbase 11.1.2.1 and OBIEE 11.1.1.5 are both cmpatabile versions.

You shouldn't have to restart Essbase as it should automatically sync, there may be additional information in SharedServices_Security_Client.log though it is probably worth logging with Oracle.

okay I've finally been able to get tor and all the other programs to work according to my plan the only thing that's still making problems is that iptables doesn't work as I want it to, when I start chromium without proxy settings privoxy doesn't seem to forward the information to polipo.. do I need to add another rule to iptables.rules in order for the program to know it has to reroute the information again or how can I get this to work? and is there any way to run rtorrent with proxy support?
anyway, problem 2 and 3 are still to be solved.
and does anybody know where i can get a good dansguardian blacklist that was not designed for 6 year old children and for which I don't need to subscribe? I'm still getting these partypoker popups -.-

(and the https-version of torcheck.xenubite says i'm tor unprotected while starting the browser with iptables)

Can you please raise a ticket with Cisco TAC asking why Excel files in 97-2003 file format cannot be fully optimized when compared to the same file being saved in the latest file format?
When using the latest file format, the user experience is amazing and up to 100x faster to open and save files. Our testing has identified an issue with the older file format.

I deployed WAAS about 3 years ago. Part of the deployment was before and after testing. When the users used Office 2010 the results were good. When they used Office 2003 the results were terrible. Some files took minutes to open, some never opened. Solution was to upgrade to O2010.

We have recently learned of some issues with the new CUDA drivers from Nvidia that cause crashes and kernel panics in some circumstances, including when switching between applications that use the GPU.

Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the third-party developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.

If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, email the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

Issues with my Macbook pro, the current page disappears and it goes back to the desktop. I can't figure out what's wrong.

I have been having problems with my Macbook ever since I had it in for service to replace the battery. The issue is when I am surfing the page disappears and goes back to the desk top, and I have to reload it again. This happens quite often while I am online, and is a definite glitch.

There is issue with notication dropdown and calender app in ios 7 which was not present in ios 6. The notification sync birthdays from contacts but only birthdays and not anniversaries.
same is with the calender app

The problem is not with the phone per se. The problem is with Android 4.0 and your TB does not have 4.0. Because this phone is the "gold standard" of development for Android 4.0 it makes sense to report the problem here. If Verizon takes notice they will push the bug report up the food chain until some developer at Google or Samsung decides to fix it.

Issue with Smart View when trying to connect to Planning/Essbase

I'm facing this issue with Hyperion 11.1.1.3 & 11.1.2. In Excel, I've created a connection in SmartView by giving the URL as http://ServerName:8300/HyperionPlanning/SmartView. After that i'm able to see "Servers" and when i started expanding that, it displayed the server name. When i clicked on the server name, it should display the Planning Application name right ? instead of that just a Cuble symbol is displaying. Do i need to make any settings for proper display of the Planning Application names ? This is perfectly working fine with HFM. I'm able to see HFM application names. Pls. advice

Issue with CC 2014 applications asking me to login and license every time.

Hi,
Having an issue with Creative Cloud 2014 application asking me to sign in and license the software every time i open them, the sign in works fine and allows me to use the product so why does it constantly ask me to log in every time I open Photoshop, inDesign etc.
I have tried the following -
Removing the OOBE folder and reinstalling the CC app but still not luck happens in both the admin account and standard user account where it will ask you to license the software everytime.
Found this http://www.urbansouldesign.co.uk/web-tips/adobe-creative-cloud-asking-for-serial-number/ but when changes made unable to open the apps at all and tells me they need to be reinstalled.
Remove the user from teams and re invited but problem still there after that too.
Signed in on another machine fine and licensed the software with no problems.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Issues with Mac OS X Server 10.4.8 and Windows File sharing

We are having lots of issues with our SMB share on Mac OS X Server 10.4.8. The main issues are the following:
- Group ACLs seem to not work properly, and I have had to add dozens of manual permissions on a per-user basis
- Often, users open a file in read-only mode, without any reason, and can't modify it
- Often, users open a file with full write access, but then cannot save it and have to use a "save as function".
After having looked all over the Internet and on the Apple's discussions forum, it seems like this issue has been around for quite some time now:

I also looked on Samba related pages, and it seems like these issues were Samba related (both ACL/OpenLDAP and Microsoft Office file handling issues), and the current version of Samba (3.0.23c) seem to have solved lots of issues in these areas:

Apple ships Samba 3.0.10 (16 Dec 2004) with 10.4.8, which makes the shipping version at list 15 versions (and 18 months) behind the current Samba release (30 Aug 2006).
People within the company are obviously quite unhappy with the situation and beyond me looking like a fool for migrating from Windows Server to OS X, I now need to find a solution to the issues.
I would like to know what is the official and Apple recommended way to solve this issue.

It seems like Apple is totally ignoring the issues, users are facing with SMB shares, while their emphasize as a selling point how OS X Server is a great "windows file" server.

I've had the following suggested to me on another forum - "My guess on the RAM error is this. You have a processor that wants the RAM to be dual channeled and since it reads both A slot are populated it wants both B slots to be populated. Remove A2 and put it in B1"
But unless it is degrading performance I'll probably just leave it.

I can get it to boot from the Clone using the option key but it's a pretty random event. I can try for ages and then suddenly it'll work. Or it may work first time. It does seems to work more easily after a PRAM zap. The funny thing is that once it is booted up it will re-start in any way I want it to (the boot volume, the clone, a disk, single user mode etc). It is just hard to boot from a full shutdown.
I'm thinking that if I ca get the start-up issue fixed then I can fix the RAID issue at my leisure and even add the hard-drive that the clone is currently on to the RAID array.

Issues with interactivity between component states and page states

Hi there, I recently downloaded the trial of Catalyst 5.5 and am encountering the following problem:-
I have many screens in my application and am attempting to get around the 20 state limit by creating custom components that contain multiple states that can be used as screens. So, I have created button links between the component states which work fine but have also created button links to and from the standard states of the application, which dont work upon running/publishing. I'm not quite sure whats wrong here as the button commands are pointing to the right place, i.e. they are pointing firstly to the specific custom component and then the state within the component, but its just not working.
Is this a trial issue or something deeper?
I really hope someone can help as apart from this issue I have been very happy with the application but if I can not find a solution theres no point in purchasing it.

Ive had the same problem. Im trying to create an interactive e-book but im having problmes with the limit of states. I have now worked out that i have to create custom components to create a sub-state but im finding it difficult to go between sub states. Help anyone?

Issue with Writeback in OBIEE 11g

Hello,
I have a created writeback report and it is working fine as of now .Now I changed the writeback template to use stored procedure to update the data.When I am trying to update integer columns it is working fine but when I try to update varchar columns it is giving the error instantly without generating the log.
"An error occurred while writing to the server. Please check to make sure you have entered appropriate values. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator."
When I try to update the procedure in DB ,it is working as expected. Can anyone tell me what is way I can troubleshoot the issue?

Weird issue with Handoff between rMBP 15" 2014 and iPhone 5

It was hard to make all the continuity stuff works, but currently the calls thought the Mac and the SMS works smoothly for me.
I just have one problem:
Handoff doesn't works from iPhone 5 to rMBP properly (the Dock icon) but from the rMBP to iPhone 5 works like a charm just when turning on the Bluetooth (as the way it supposed to be done).
I've logged out from iCloud (and that actually gave me more problems, Calls and SMS left to works, but now all is fixed) I've disabled iCloud to fix the BT issue but nothing changed.
By the way I'm not able to pair both devices with bluetooth, but I'm pretty sure that isn't needed.
I've detected what is the problem and a workaround:
I mainly have BT off in both devices, and if i turn on the rMBP and then the BT in both devices I get the problem described at the beginning... BUT if i restart the rMBP with the BT enabled then the problem is gone.. the app appears in the Dock from the iPhone without problems... as I don't like to being rebooting my Mac every time with the BT on when I want to have Handoff I just kill the process "blued" from the system monitor and all works nicely.
Another workaround (when I turn on the rMBP with the BT off) it's just having the BT settings opened, everything works well, if I close settings then Handoff stops working (yeah, weird).
I hope that could be fixed, they are minor bugs but keep being bugs.

I recommend taking some thread dumps during this delay and contacting support to get some advice.
You can take the thread dumps by kill -3, JRockit Mission Control, etc.

Issue with SharedObjects between Air 3.4 and Air 3.5

I opened a bug a while ago https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3347676 but I am not sure if the bug is being worked on or not, I see Reason "Waiting" and not really suire what that means.
The issue is this, I have been storing some infromation about the user in a SharedObject using this syntax _diskCache = SharedObject.getLocal("diskCache");
The name of the SWF file is MOBILE.swf, although the parameter <filename> in the Application.xml is <filename>Air App</filename>
For months:
Android has been storing the SharedObject data using the actual SWF name, so in MOBILE.swf,
iOS has been storing the SharedObject data using the <filename> parameter, so in Air App.swf.
Since Air 3.5 this has changed (When compiling an ad-Hoc IPA), Air 3.5 now works like Android.
This is ok since all devices should behave the same, although now all the players that had data stored in their SharedObjects are going to lose it, and trust me they are going to get mad about it and vote down my app.
The only workaround I found for this is change the filename everytime i have to compile for iOS or Android, this is getting pretty PITA, is it anything that Adobe can do alleviate my pains? Or does anybody knows a better workaround?
