Issue with FI Validation check Screen

I am having an issue with creating FI validation, specifically the check tab. I need to input BSEG-GSBER = 'EES', but I dont see BSEG in the list of structures. How can I add it?

Hi,
I have asked to check whether the BSEG structure is allowed to be used in the Pre-requisits part of the validation or not.
Also check that you are defining the validation step at level 2 (Line Item level) or at level 3 (Complete Document Level).
As level 1 (Header Level) does not allow the BSEG structure.

Issues with Analysis Authorization checks in APO
Hi Friends,
I am facing an issue with Analysis authorization checks in APO.
We have setup user access based on Management Entity (Analysis authorization - AGMMGTENT and 0TCAACTVT) and core APO authorizations (based on the work profile - e.g: Demand Planner).
Scenario: Consider User A has access to India and Australia Management Entities with 0TCAACTVT - *
This user also has display access to all management Entities (AGMMGTENT - * and 0TCAACTVT - 03). This scenario works very well in Quality where the RSECADMIN trace shows check on both Characteristics. However in Production the RSECADMIN trace shows up only against AGMMGTENT (*) and by default takes 0TCAACTVT as (*).
In Quality the Characteristics that get checked are as below : and it works as expected. Display access for Management Entities that are supposed to be displayed only and change access to only the Management Entities that it should.
However the Trace for Production shows the following : As a result it is allowing the user to change access to all management Entities. Which is not desirable..
Resultant trace results are as below: This should not happen..
I have compared all Analysis Authorizations and it is same across both Instances. The Demand planner access is consistent too..
Will it be possible for you to advise on what could I be missing.Hi All,
If it helps, in Quality: the Authorization checks are listed as: Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1
while in Production it checks Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 1 in one place, however where it fails - the check happens as Subselection (Technical SUBNR) 0.
Is there a way we can change this to SUBNR 1. Is there any table entry that I can look at to check if the Authorization check is functioning incorrectly..

Issues with lines across the screen, as well as freezing
Issues with lines across the screen, as well as freezing
Hello all
Got an iMac since January 2008 and I do like it a lot, even though it has some issues:
-- It displays (quite often) lines partially across the screen
-- Lines appear as well when opening applications or when menus come up
-- The system freezes more than I like to admit (more than my Windows/Ubuntu box)
I don't know if the freezing has to do with the lines that are shown on my screen. But I assume that both issues relate to some video card problem. I can't be sure - but that's what I assume from living with this issue day to day.
The line on the desktop (most of the time it is there before login) I can always get rid of by changing the display resolution to something else and then changing it back. Normally the line is gone, or, reappears on a different spot on the desktop. But repeating the procedure removes the line.
However, this does not mean that the lines are not showing up again when launching apps or displaying menus!
And since those lines appear to happen randomly, I think it's safe to assume that we're not talking dead pixels here, either...
About the freezing:
My iMac freezes sometimes when I move the mouse around, when switching desktops using "spaces" or when the zoom function of the Dock kicks in. Sometimes the screen goes completely black, sometimes completely white. The mouse, however, always works. But the system requires a reboot.
Again, this happens too often to feel comfy about it.
With my little knowledge of Mac troubleshooting I assume that there's something wrong with the ATI card that's built into my Mac. On the other hand, some people say that they started getting similar issues after updating their OS to Leopard. Again other people say that such issues stem from an ATI revision that is too old and the Mac should get a new ATI card. And how would that work? Isn't that an "all-in-one" machine with everything soldered onto the mainboard?
So, any help in this matter is greatly appreciated...

Issue with simple validation rule

I have a strange issue writing a validation rule through calc mgr.
scenario: We are performing allocations over entity dimension based on %ages entered on a specific account member say 'Input%age' on total to be allocated value. For example: consider a parent entity P with 4 children as mentioned below.

Need: The allocation should happen only when the sum of %ages on each of the child roll up to 1 for their respective parent. Else allocation should not happen and message should be displayed to users.

Issue:
1. The script never works correctly even if the sum of %ages for all child is 1. I have tried making '1.0', '1.00' ,'100','100.00' etc but it didn't work. (Note: If user enters 0.2 as %age, the web-form shows it as 20%)
2. In case the sum of %ages is not equal to 1, allocation happens only for last child D.
3. If %age condition is removed, allocation happens as expected.
Any input or suggestion is highly appreciated.

1. during the time of calculation the "Input%age" is one (i mean aggregated).
2. Is your condition is valid. I mean if you have missed "BegBalance" or any valid combination.

Issue with fullscreen gl and screen corruption...
Hi.
I am running dual monitors on a radeon x1300 with the ati catalyst drivers (version 8.7-2).
Whenever i attempt to run a gl program fullscreen my displays corrupt. in windowed mode they work fine. I think this might be an issue with fullscreen trying to stretch across both displays. is there a workaround for this so i can run fullscreen on one of the monitors?

It seems to turn both monitors into a single screen.
The gl app runs in one of the screens while in fullscreen mode and corruption is limited to the "inactive" monitor.
Its clunky to use with any other application though because of how windows maximize across both monitors instead of just one.
Is there a good way to switch this option other than changing my xorg.conf everytime i want to switch? -
Issue with the storage check if files are uploaded...
There is an issue with (photo) updloads to SkyDrive filling the temporary items. When I started to upload photos to Skydrive, I had about 2.4 GB free space on my Lumia 820 and after a while the whole memory was full. I uploaded successfully about 600MB of photos, but the same time the phone filled the temporary items to 2.4GB and thus went to full stop with all memory gone. And I haven't had any success of freeing up the temporary items.
Basically, whatever I upload to the Skydrive it goes to the temp files and that cannot be cleared using Storage check option.

16GB without a micro-SD card slot isn't enough for many users especially those who have a large music collection. (Note: Cloud storage is NOT equivalent to local storage). In any case 16GB will only postpone but not get rid of the problem of the 'Other' folder. -
Issue with FIELD VALIDATION in modify status
I have a problem with a validation of field of a service request.
My problem is this:
I created this type of validation for the field STATE:

Now say that the field "Account Name" is set with 'TO CHANGE' and the field "Reason of the contact" is set with "To be defined" and I try to close the service request, the validation works correctly and blocks me to closed the SR ([<Status>] = LookupValue ("SR_STATUS", "Open") AND
[<AccountName>] = 'TO CHANGE').
Perfect!
Now let's say I want to change the "Account Name" and "Reason of the contact" then set the ticket status to closed.
Now the problems are:
If I do NOT go into edit status of the ticket (edit button) and return on time then the "Account Name"=Jack first "Reason of the contact"=information and then was put Status as Closed, validation allows me to close the ticket. Perfect.
But if I go into Edit state (with the Button Edit SR) of the ticket and change simultaneously "Account Name"=Jack and "Reason of the contact"=information and Status="Closed" and then do Save, validation is not working properly and gives me the message as if I had not changed the Account Name.
She acts as if he hadn't interpreted the change of fields.
Please Help me!
Any suggestion??There is no limit in Adobe form, that means you need to check the backend service, where the field is truncated and change the ABAP data type from the mentioned char255 or something to string for example. Otto

Issue with Dreamweaver CS3 Check username behavior
Let me start by saying that I'm not a developer, and I may be in over my head on the project I'm working on.
I'm creating a page to register new user's information into aa Access user table. I've created a registration form, and added the Insert Record behavior. That works fine, no problems. However, when I add the Check New User behavior, I get some strange results.
If the new username is valid (not a duplicate), the form processes and goes to my "thank you for registering" page. Great.
If the new username is not valid, the behavior redirects to the "sorry, pick a different username" page. Great.
When the user goes back to the registration page to change the User Name and tries to submit the form, and error message appears thet the connection (MM_rsKey) is still open. When I look at the code (with my very limited knowledge of actual code), it looks like the behavior doesn't close the connection unless the selected User Name is valid. If the redirect happens, and the user goes back to the registration form page, the connection hasn't been closed, and the form simply won't process.
I've even tried splitting the registration into 2 parts... I created a form with only the User Name field and a submit button, thinking I'll just make the second part of the process an update, where the additional information is added to the existing record that matches the user name, but still no joy.
I even checked to see if the code that closes the connection resides on the redirect page, but I don't think that's the case.
I'm probably missing some perfectly simple step, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

KenYes, that's really how that behavior is meant to be used. You could even take it a step further and have a password field on the first page.
The only issue I have with that scenario is is for some reason, the user doesn't complete step two - then you essentially have the account created but not complete. So then you have to add some sort of check upon login and direct the user back to step 2 if he never filled out that part.
So you may want to start thinking about eventually building a registration page where it's all containined on the same page. The prococess would be something like this:
1. User enters all required information, including username and password.
2. The page is submitted, but before the insert record occurs the check new username runs, or some variation of it.
3. If it passes, the record is inserted and rediects to the confirmation page.
4. If it doesn't pass the check, instead of a redirect like the behavior does, it displays a message.
5. the tricky part here is not to lose all the other entered information. That can be retained in a session, and bound back to the input fields.
That's just an overview, and i'm sure you've seen enough web forms to recognize the workflow - usually with registration forms and online shopping and checkout forms. -
Touch screen on Iphone slowly, over a few days stopped responding. Went to Genius Bar and was given a new 3GS because they didn't know how to fix the issue. Cool. Went home synced with Macbook Pro (new-12/2010), two days later same issue. This time when I went to Genius Bar they restored the phone to factory settings and instructed me to load as a new phone in Itunes instead of restoring information of the previous phone, which is an option good for when your replacing phone not fixing one Anywho, did everything they told me to do. SAME ISSUE A FEW DAYS LATER. This time I was told the software issue is with my Macbook and I thought this made sense, so I took it in along with the phone. That was yesterday. Phone working intermittently since leaving Apple. I was given instructions that if their "daily" fix didn't work to erase hard-drive and reinstall software that came with the macbook and start fresh. This would definately fix the issue. Extreme yes, but I need use of my phone, especially since we got rid of the house phone and all use cell phones. So last night I did the required erase of hard-drive and re-loaded all software that came with it and Microsoft Office for Mac. Plugged in the phone to set up in itunes and thought that was it. My phone is still not working. Can't answer when I try, can't make calls, etc. What the heck do I do? I'm starting to feel like a major lamo having to keep going back to Genius Bar, but I know enough to know these issues should have been resolved with the steps I've taken. I even went as far as to restore through my husbands computer and same thing. Could there be a problem with Itunes? Could the magnetic stripe in my debit card be hurting the device somehow, although that's a long shot since I have had the same or similar case since getting the phone. Frustrated beyond belief. Apple support not open at this hour so I'm trying my luck here.....

Has anyone had issues with half of the screen going hay wire?
I have a 24" LED cinema display. Purchased 09'. The first one I bought had one dead pixel and so they swapped that one out with this new one. For the past 2 years it has a great monitor until about 6 months ago it started distorting half of the screen. It would only do it so often but now its more persistent and more aggressive issue. I called Apple today and got a few options. They said it could be the board ( the cheap option ) or it could be the LCD panel ( the expensive option )
I want to know if anyone has had this issue or anything like it and if so what was the solution? the board or the LCD panel?

I was hoping someone might have an idea if it was the mother board inside the monitor or if it was the LCD panel. One is 100 dollar fix the other is 600 dollar fix.. =T

Anyone else having issues with iPad Air touch screen x y positioning inaccuracy?
I have a 128GB WiFi Cellular iPad Air with IOS 7.0.3 installed. I have noticed, especially with the Photos app, that where you touch on the screen isnt exactly what is returned by the iPad. For example, if I want to view a photo in a display of a series of thumbnails I have to actually touch the photo to the left of the one I want to view. If I touch the one I want to view, the one to the right expands to full screen. I am hoping this is just a software issue. If not, then this one is going to be returned while I still have time in the initial 30 day window.
Well, I think I figured out the problem. I had a pdf file somehow loaded into the camera roll. All images before the pdf were opening appropriately, but the ones ater that file were always shifted to the right. I deleted the pdf file and now they all open correctly.

} I thought this would have worked, however it validates the username and password even if both are incorrect. What I would have expected it to do is to validate only if both username and password were correct.
Also if the username was correct and password incorrect display the appropriate error message. Again if the password was incorrect and the username correct display the error message.
I dont understand why this is not working.

Issue with data Validation while migrating from one application to another
Hi All,
I am having a strange issue Kindly please help me .
I have a data form which have data validation on each cell.The dataform is quite large and contain data for 4 accounts and year (Jan to Dec) combination .The issue is that I when I migrate this data form to other application which is just the replica of the main application. The validation on each cells changes its reference points.
I have 5 more similar data form and I need to migrate then to other application and also on production sever. Is there any way that while exporting and importing them using formutil.cmd or other way that the validation cells reference does not change its reference point.
For ex I have validation on Cell A5,A6..........AA6 after migrating it changes to A1,A1.........AA1.
I am using 11.1.2.1.0 version of Hyperion Planning

I tried using the FormDefUtil.cmd .But by using this the reference points of validation changes to first cell when imported.

Duel Monitor issue with video in full screen mode
Hi, im not sure if this is the right forum but here is my question
I have an external monitor connected to my MacBook Pro 13" model...i want to be able to have a video in full screen on my external monitor but still use my laptop to do work and browse the web
However, ever time i put it in full screen mode it blackens my laptop screen
how do i stop this from happeningI've tried moving the menu bar to the monitor...didnt work
ive tried playing the video on my mac but it just blackens the monitor
What do you mean by the adaptor - i have what ever software etc that came with the mac...and then from apple i bought the mini display port to VGA adaptor...the monitor is a new LG W2261 Full HD...currently i am connect via the blue VGA cable
it works if im playing games full screen...i just have to move the menu bar in the arrangement option...but it doesnt work for videos
i havent tried another monitor cos i dont have one - but i did try another account and its the same effect
surely it should be simple - what if i was to do a powerpoint presentation connect to a TV or projector, normally you can see your screen for the separate controls which the other displays the presentation -
Issue with Method to find Screen Exit

I am planning to add 2 custom fields to item details tab in ME51N .
I tried to find screen exits using development class of ME51N i.e ME
I went to smod and tried to find enhancements using ME development class and from the list of enhancements i tried to find a screen exit but i could found one.
I found an enhancement
MEREQ001 Customers' Own Data in Purchase Requisition
Which had a screen exit as well and this is what i was exactly looking for.
But my question is that
MEREQ001 is under development class MEREQ
So that means the way i was trying to find the screen exits is wrong or is there a better way to find screen exits
