Issue with Payroll posting in FI

Hello Friends,
our company run a simulation run on payroll for the month of Jan 2008.
things are perfect.. but after actual the posting of payroll, the posting is not correct.
for example.. simulation run shows the total payroll value is 1 million $.. but actual run posts only half a million.
Is there any way I could find employees payroll which is not posted in FI..
how to find a solution for this issue..

What do you mean by: "a simulation run on payroll " - is this:
a) A payroll Simulation
b) A Simulation of the Posting
If (a) then the Posting only runs on actual (ie updated Payroll Results).
If (b) then check the errors in the simulation run and the update run.
Note that there are several settings for the Posting Run:
"P" => Live Posting - this will only post if there are no errors
"S" => Simulated Posting will do everything (ie up to and including creating documents, but will not Post.)
"T" => Test Run this only does basic posting and, basically will only check that your configuartion has no "out of balance" postings It does not check Account allocation etc.

Issue with the Posting Date of the Purchase Order.

There are fields in BW like SSL1: Time OK, SSL2: Qty OK, SSL3: Time & Qty Ok, SSL4: Days Late (Routines are written to calculate). These fields will indicate whether the delivery against a GR is OK or not with respect to Time, Quantity and the No. of Days..
But here the issue I am facing is
If there is only1 delivery/ GR against a single item the calculation in BW are correct - i.e. for a particular PO if there is only one delivery the above fields like SSL1: Time Ok, SSL2: Qty OK will show like the delivery is done within the specified time and everything is OK (in case if it is delivered within the allotted time)
But if there are multiple deliveries or multiple GR's posted for one PO item, the calculations are going wrong i.e. even if the delivery is done well within the specified time it is showing the wrong calculations like it is delievered too late. Because in this case the earlier dates are overwritten.
Can anyone throw me some light on how can I go about solving this issue.
I am thinking of declaring the Posting Date as the KeyField of the DSO as of now it is a Data field I also want to know the impact of assigning this as a Keyfield.

Hi,
As I understand, you have a DSO based on Purchase Order and your key field is PO and its line item. The problem as you stated will always be there if you have multiple deliveries/GRs created for a single line item because the system will overwrite the entries for same key.
Problem with adding Posting date as keyfield will be that then your key will be PO-PO Lineitem-Date. When PO will be created, the Posting date will be blank(correct me here if I am wrong), therefore you will have one entry for same PO-line item combination. One without date and other with date, which again would be incorrect. If my assumption about Posting date was wrong, even then your data may not be correct because then you may have many entries with same posting date which again would overwrite each other.
If there is any direct link between PO line item and number of deliveries that will get created for them, then you can bring that field in DSO as keyfield. But I don't think there is any such field.
Looking at your report requirement, I would suggest that you make a DSO based on Goods Receipts and then calculate these keyfigures by comparing the dates between GR posting date and PO line item date.
Else you can change the way your datasource works(if its generic one based on function module). Since your main requirement is to check whether the GR posting date has met your SLA or not, you should fetch all the details only when GR is created and make your key field as PO-PO Line item-GR

Text Box issues with a poster template

This sounds stupid and all but, I am trying to type lowercase in a text box in one of the poster templates and it will only type caps. I cannot seem to find anything to clikc or unclick. It seems like this shouldn't be so difficult.

Now this problem does not exist on the first page, but any other pages I try to edit the text on I get this line. I've looked everywhere, but can't seem to find the solution. Any help out ther? Issue with XML post when port used with server name

Hi Guys,
We are currently using an agent on our application servers which puts a server in "inservice standby" if the CPU load on the system goes above 75%. This agent is using an XML post on the CSM to achieve this and put the server back inservice using XML post as well.
Currently we are trying to use the same agent for another application which has a port number defined as well and it does not seem to work.
To give an example where it works:
serverfarm TEST
nat server
nat client TEST
real name BLABLA
inservice
The example where it does not work:
serverfarm TEST
nat server
nat client TEST
real name BLABLA 50000
When we get the server name via XML we see that CSM returns the name as BLABLA: 50000 however using the same in the script does not work.
Would someone know how to put the port number in an XML script so that the CSM understands which server need to be changed.

We are up to FF 25 and the issue with Huffington Post is worse than ever. Is there are serious effort to fix this going on?

Firefox consistently locks up for minutes at a time when Huffington Post updates. This has been going on for at least 18 months and it does not appear there is a serious effort to address the problem. I have read though all the forum questions and replies and I do not see a serious effort on the part of Firefox to address this. It is causing significant enough problems to make using Firefox an issue. What is the problem and will be be fixed at some point?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Issue with REST POST call: CopyTo in a SharePoint hosted App not working

I have been really struggling to get a cross domain copy to work both in an App or even using REST Tools such as Postman or Google Advanced REST Client.
Ok there are various blog posts by Scott G et al. that shows how you can post say in a single domain. Now that's fairly straight forward

I have now tested against a trail Office 365 Developer site and I had to make a few adjustments
- change the url
- change the target to SharePoint Onlne
- change the url
I still wasn't happy so I created a new SharePoint Hosted app and pointed at the above developer site. I copied my CrossDomainExec.js and stripped all my code except my CopyItemInSameLIbrary method which hasn't changed since I created this post.
- changed the App Manifest permissions to Web -full Control ( was previously tenant)
I still got errors which is really painful as you don't even see the POST request in Fiddler
The URL used for my POST is as follows ( note host URL is fictitious)

is a bug and unfixable.
What does that mean and why is it "unfixable"? Is that some hardware that is not compatible with Arch at all?

Driver issue with Intel ICH9M LPOC Inte. Controller post windows 7 upgrade

Upgraded from vistahome premium to 7 proffesional and have hardware issue with this device
on Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

Went to intels website and could not find driver for 7 (there were drivers for vista & xp)

Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a printed part number and a product name (p/n). Post one or both of them (with all alphanumeric characters here).

Number of Line Items Issue at the time of Payroll posting

Dear All,
While creating a posting document (Payroll posting) for FI, the maximum number of line item allowed is 999 where as I have 1464 line items. I am creating only one document based on Company code and it is giving me the following error, which is because of number of line item;
Acct determination not defined for trans. HRA 1002 in chart of accts AGCA
Message no. F5113
Diagnosis
An automatic posting cannot be created because the account determination for transaction HRA with keys 1002 is not defined in chart of accounts AGCA.
System Response
The document cannot be posted.
Procedure
Depending on the type of processing, you can hold the document and post it later. If this is not possible and the error cannot be eliminated straightaway in customizing, you must leave processing and enter the document later.
Procedure for the system administrator
Correct the account determination for the specified transaction. Proceed

Who else is having MAJOR issues with their Droid DNA post 4.4 (KitKat) update??

I usually don't complain or post much about my phone because problems are generally quickly fixed, but this update is just ridiculous. After updating to KitKat, my phone has the following problems:
1. Text Messages - I constantly get text message errors. Always get the error that my message is not able to be sent. I have two problems with this. First, I get the error that the message was not able to be sent, but the recipient tells me they get mass spammed the same message 3+ times. Second, sometimes the recipient does not receive the message and it never goes through.
2. Network connection - Since the update, my phone usually does NOT have any type of connection whatsoever. The status bar shows I have 3G or 4G, but when I go to the internet app or try to use any form of data, I get the No data connection/no network connection error. Also, many times I am unable to receive/place calls.
2. Battery Life - significantly reduced battery life. This is not too big a deal because I'm assuming the new Android version takes more battery power. I can stomach this.
Please assist me with this as soon as possible. I'd hate to have to drop Verizon for such a silly issue.

I'm sorrry to hear you're having so many issues with your Droid DNA after your update pl124. I can understand the frustrations you're experiencing but we are here to help. Have you performed any trouble shooting steps with us regarding the issues you're having? Although I'm unable to fix any of the functionality changes caused by the update, I can help with the issues. Are you using a 3rd party messaging app? If so, its always a good idea to temporarily remove it to see if its causing an issue. We also recommend safe mode, which disables all apps and allows you the opportunity to readd them one at a time to see if that particular one is causing an issue. Additionally, if you're having issues with missed calls and text, we also recommend a SIM card pull to reconnect your phone back to the towers. Issue with Session ID during POST

Hi All,
I am using Weblogic server version weblogic 9.2 and facing an issue with the session ID.
I have a client side script with numerous GET calls and one POST call that it makes in a single session. Frequently I come across with issue that the session ID that I send in POST request is not the same as received and this affects my subsequent GET calls not to be in the same session. The call order is like this
GETij/POSTij where i is the sent and j is the recieved session IDs.
[GET11, GET11, GET11, POST12, GET11, GET11, <after few secs interval> GET22, GET22]
I store the session id in a cookie. And I always create a session using the HttpServletRequest.getSession();
Can some one advice on this.

Again as a follow-up, I am using net scape ns plugin for load balancing (iPlanet/Weblogic). The issue happens when the primary server id and the secondary server id are same in the session id (set in the cookie) when the cookie is sent and received, where session id is of the default format <session id>!<primary server id>!<secondary server id>
Any clue?

Problem: In SAP, IDOC's are processing successfully with status 53 and updating the tables : KONH,KONP successfully.
But Table A957 which is passing against KOTABNR field is not pupulating with the Materials passing.
Can anyone please guide me why the Materials are not populating in the table : A957.

I guess there might be some issue with VAKEY population.
All the key fields in A957 should be concated properly while populating VAKEY. (Leading zeros must be prefixed to the material)

for the datasource to extract any kind of postings you'll have to have 5 things checked in the isu system:
MENGESTREL
BETRSTREL
STAFO
STGRAMT
STGRQNT
The only relevant postings are the ones that have the BUCHREL field marked.

Starnge issue with posting periods

Hi All,
I am facing a strange issue with posting periods....
When I go to OMSY i can see that periods 10 & 9 are open. the I go to MMPV and close periods. Again when I go back into OMSY I can see that now periods 11 & 10 are open. But after sometime when I try to do invoice posting I get the error that posting only possible in periods 10 & 9. I checked in OMSY and it now shows that periods 10 & 9 are open!!
I have closed periods using MMPV atleast 5 times now....I really fail to understand why or how the periods are changing in OMSY?

Check in MARV table, if it is still open, while close the period in MMPV, check you are getting message as "Period closed log issued"

[SOLVED] Post installation issues with KDE 4.7.0

I reinstalled my machine (DELL Studio 540 PC) with Arch Linux 64 bit. I did an install using LVM2 and RAID (have 2 500 GB drives in my machine). Everything went fine with the installation and bootloader (grub2) but I'm having a few issues with KDE and grub2.
1. When booting my machine grub2 gives an error saying "error: fd0 not found" (twice). My machine does not have a floppy drive and has never had one. There is no option in the BIOS to turn floppy off. So why is grub2 complaining about it?
2. With KDE 4.7.0 thumbnails of pdf files are not generated anymore, they were with previous versions of KDE4. Anybody else have that issue with 4.7?
3. I have and Brother DCP-7045n printer in my network and when try to print from a KDE program (Koffice, Kate, Kwrite, Kile etc.), the margins are completely messed up. The print preview on the screens looks right but the actual print everything shift upwards to the right. So things on top of a page are cut off for example. Printing from Gnome/GTK apps (Acrobat Reader, Libreoffice etc.) do not show this behaviour. I 've had this issue with KDE4 since KDE 4.3. Here is the original ustream bug:

Anybody got an idea how to fix this?
4. Skype is crashing on me on startup constantly several times before it finally runs. I've had this problem since the 2.2.x series got released? Anybody got a fix for that. I was hoping a reinstall would fix that problem (same with the printing issue) but no luck.
5. I'm using KDE's microblogging plasma app to check my twitter account but I can't get to remember my password. Everytime I log into I have to manually login to my twitter and kdewallet is running and has my password stored and everything. This one really pusles me.
6. The final issue I having and issue was also the reason why I wanted to reinstall my machine in the first place. I originally used KDEmod as my desktop but they stopped making KDEmod some time ago when they started working on Chakra. So I removed KDEmod and installed KDE from Arch directly. A nice feature of KDE4 is its ability to generate previews on folders containing images and videos. When I switched to KDE that feature stopped working. So I was expecting that with a fresh install that this work and it does except for folders containing jpeg files. If I have a folder containing only jpeg files no previews/thumbnails are generated on the folder but previews the jpeg files themselves are generated. Does anybody else have that problem with jpegs and folder previews?
Hope somebody can help me with these few issues...

Have you installed grub2 with that --no-floppy flag as described in:

Nope. Is it selected in dolphin>settings>general>previews.

Well that won't be a solution, but you might use choqok instead - at least it stores the password.
To answer your first answer, yes I installed grub2 with the --no-floppy option as mentioned in the wiki. Regarding 2 I don't understand why that works for you then? I have all things turned on under previews (folder, video, jpeg etc.) but as mentioned in my first post I have no previews with pdf files and jpegs do generate on folder previews. Finally regarding 5 the microblogging plasma app worked fine on my old installation even after I updated to KDE 4.7.0. The password issue I'm having is on my fresh install.
