i am trying to use the below code for my test application.
I took the below code from SDN.

Here i dont find the function show under window.
window.show();
My NWDS prompts me with the Error msg as
The Method show() is undefined for the type IWDWindow.
Can anyone provide some pointer over this.

Issue with interactive adobe forms in webdynpro JAVA

hi all,
I have added new field in interactive adobe form in NWDS and also did required changes to RFC function module which extract the data from database tables. Also, i have mapped the exporting parameter of the function module with newly added field on the interactive adobe form. After all required changes i did manual deployment of .EAR, .XDP and .WDP files in J2EE server (my client doesnt have auto deployment like right click on the project and click on deploy). After doing the manual deploy, i do see new filed on the interactive adobe form, but i do not see any value in that new field. I wanted to know am i missing any other step in deploy or what i am missing.
FYI.. i also tried restarting the J2EE server, still no use.
Could any one please help me to resolve this issue.

Issue with implementing Find window

Hi,
I am facing an issue with implementing Find window. The find window everything is working fine, but when I am opening the form I am facing the following error
'Error: To retrieve the Information in this block, use menu option view -> query by example -> Enter to invoke enter-query mode, then view -> Query by example > Run to run your query..'
when I click 'Ok', it is navigating to the FInd window.
How can I avoid the above error message?
And also after searching, I navigate to the main window to display the records, but the 'Find' torch icon is not getting enabled, how do I that?

Yes, I have the QUERY_FIND trigger with the code as 'APP_STANDARD.EVENT('QUERY_FIND');'
And also 'first navigation data block ' to my result block. Now that the error is gone, But still the Find Icon is not enabled

Anyone having problems with pop up windows?

Very recently (roughly just after performing the most recent Security Update) I have had trouble with pop up windows in Safari. Haven't had the problem before and the strange part is that my setting to block pop up windows keeps becoming unchecked in the Safari menu. My workaround has been to refresh the page, which removes the pop up, and then re-check the block pop up window option. Next time I open up Safari, I get the pop up again and my setting is unchecked.
Anybody else have this experience. Any malicious software out there that might be causing this? Any suggestions?

Welcome to Apple Discussions
Oddities in Safari happen, not from viruses etc, but from some of the complexities of the program itself. In this case, a corrupted preference file may be causing the problem.
In the Finder, drag to the desktop the com.apple.safari.plist folder found in your User Account>Library>Preferences folder.
Restart Safari. Select the pop-up block. Quit/Restart Safari.
If the pop-up selection held, you'll need to reset your Safari preferences to your liking, plus any custom settings found in the Edit Menu (spelling) or View Menu (status bar, bookmarks bar, custom icons in the "Customize Address Bar" ).
Otherwise, move the file back to its original location.

I have problems with pop up windows after earlier today I updated the software

I have a macbook pro, and I updated the software today, I have OS X 10.9
After I did this I started having problems in safari with pop up windows, before it only happened with some sites, but now almost every site I try to open it also opens
pop up windows, and some sites have underlined words that link to other sites for advertising.
I really don't know what to do and I've read several posts of people that also have had my problem but I don't the solutions.

Problem with Pop up windows and struts

I have problem in working with pop-up windows and struts.
I have parent page which basically lists some data and has a button for adding new record. when I press that button a child windndow will be opened for data entry. The child window has submit button to save data.
when I press the button for save, It will go to action class and saves it in a database and forwards a new page.
but I do not want to forward any new page. If any exception is raised during database saving, a message should be showed in child window otherwise the child window should close and the parent window should get refreshed.
Can any one write me how we can handle this in struts.

This has nothing to do with struts, you can do the same with some plain JavaScript. Do the following...
1) On error, forward to a error page
2) On success, forward to a temp.html page.
The code in temp.html would be like this

Having trouble with pop-up windows and ads for MacKeeper

I've been having trouble with pop-up windows and ads for MacKeeper and similar "services." Tried to download "MPlayerX" a week ago and it all started then. I thought I deleted the file but I'm still having trouble. I've been digging for solutions on here, but nothing I've found on here has worked yet--the VSearch stuff (I think) isn't on my hard drive. Any advice?

You installed a variant of the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
This malware has many variants. Anyone else finding this comment should not expect it to be applicable.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.

The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
          Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
          Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Any issues with PE7 and Windows 7?

I am considering purchasing a second computer. I have had great success with PE7 and Vista, But I can't get Vista on the new Alienware I want to buy. So, has anyone had any issues with PE7 and Windows 7? I have read many posts where there are issues with PE8 and Windows7.

I don't use it a lot, since I have a desktop. I've noticed having a
dedicated video card makes a world of difference in editing. This might be
your problem; a dedicated high end video card is the way to go.
If I do simple compilations I don't have any problems. I usaully am making
a DVD of soccer games. If there is a lot of special effects I'll use my
desktop that has XP.

I seem to have multiple problems related or unrelated. I cannot use Apple Mail for blueyonder and mostly for gmail as both show that the server is off line. My pop up blocker doesn't work and I am blitzed with pop up windows on nearly every command

Firstly I am unable to use Apple mail except for hotmail, for blueyonder, gmail or Sky as the server shows as (off line) and I have no idea how to get them on line even though I tell them to go there.
My pop up blocker doesn't work and I am blitzed with advertising windows virtually on ever command I make, one seems to be impossible to unsubscribe from.
When I am in an email with a web link the web link doesn't work and I get a window saying that I must have a pop up blocker, but if I switch it off it is no different, what does work is switching the "enable Java script off", then when I get to the web site I can't use it until I switch the java script back on.
I can't do a screen shot either full or partial, when I try it changes the web site that is on screen to another.
So what have I done that might have caused problems, downloading Yosemite seemed to be the start of the problems. Since then I have started to install Mackeeper, after checking with a family members who should know, that MacPaw is safe. I decided that I didn't want to pay the subscription, so went through the uninstall instructions but it comes up as a pop up with considerable regularity.
My stress levels have gone through the roof with pop ups happening so regularly and not being able to use Apple mail.o can anyone help please?

Problem with pop-up window

i caught up with one issue while using Function-Module POPUP_WITH_TABLE,with this Func-module im able to display all the entries in the pop-up,but if i press the continue button with out selecting any item in the window ,that window does not getting closed.What should i have to do for closing that window even if i press the continue button without selecting any entry of pop-up window.

you cant get that fn ality in POPUP_WITH_TABLE here you have to cross the window and uncomment the exception part for that.

Strange errors with pop up windows

Hi folks,
I recently had my PC re-imaged. After that when ever I try to click on any link that should result in a pop-up window nothing happens. The system locks up for about 20-30 seconds and then comes back with no result.
I already checked and turned off the pop-up blocker (and oddly enough the logoff function works and other pop-up (non portal) applications work just fine). All other links work, but any link (such as the Personalize) that should result in a pop-up fails.
In some cases I get a JavaScript error that reads...
Line 176 char 1 no such interface supported
com.sap.portal.runtime.system.console.Go
In other cases I don't get any error message at all.
One of my fellow coder's machine continues to work just fine. Pop-ups work without a problem. Our basis folks are at a loss.
Does anyone have any ideas?

That OSS note is most useful. However, it turned out that we had a much more serious issue. The image our basis group was using for our workstations is messed up. Microsoft Article 281679 or Q281679 gives a much better explanation. The short answer was that some of the IE DLLs were corrupt and need to be reinstalled.

Working with Pop-Up windows

Hi,
heres my requirement:
To open a pop-up window onclick of a link from the parent window. Parent window has a data-table and a column called 'StatementInfo' which shows the statementNumber as a h:commandLink. When i click on the statement number i want to show the details of that statement in the pop-up. The details are rendered as a dataTable and if i am able to pass this statementNumber then i need to render the dataModel for that statementNumber.
If i have not made myself clear, heres a simpler example;
You have a page where you list all employees in a datatable. the employee id is a commandLink. I want to show the employee details when user clicks this link. Possible if so how and if there are any examples please point me to them.
Has any one done this before? I am using RAD6.0 and jsf1.0.1. I wouldnt want to use any apache component though.

Is there an issue with Swing on Windows 7?

Hi,
I'm running the latest version of Java on Windows 7. "java -version" returns the following:
java version "1.6.0_21"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_21-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 17.0-b17, mixed mode, sharing)
However, when I try to run the JDialog example at "http://download-llnw.oracle.com/javase/1.5.0/docs/api/" (JDialog | How to Make Dialogs | The DialogDemo Example), it is not being painted correctly.
I have a dual monitor setup. The display adapter is an NVIDIA GeForce FX5200. Is this a Windows 7 issue, or is something going wrong with my display adapter?

In short, components are not being painted fully or at all. If I mouse over the dialog (which I'm guessing forces a repaint), sometimes a given component will appear. In any case, it's not subtle. You would definitely notice it if it were occurring.
Thanks for having a look though. I guess I will try re-installing the JRE or research possible issues with my video card.

Need help big time with pop-up window!

This is probably an easy answer, I'm not a programmer or a back end guy whatsoever, I'm a graphic designer trying to make his way through a project for a client.
I'm working up a Flash template, and I need to make a simple pop up window that will view a more detailed version of an image. The template has a pop up window system where you add your photo to a certain frame of a movie clip. The problem is, the pop ups have scroll bars built in, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get rid of them, so I duplicated one of the movie clips that looked like it housed the framework of the pop up and deleted the scroll bar (I didn't delete any of the scroll bar code because I had no idea what I was doing). It actually kind of worked, but the pop up window is a bit too wide and doesn't look right.

Stay on the "Print" page and click the first "01" button and an ad for Ford will come up. Click the "Detailed View" button in the description to see the pop up window.
My question is, there MUST be an easier way to make a pop up window than the workaround I'm using with the template. What I'm trying to do is have a pop up for each sample of the work (all images would be the same size) for the first four buttons, and then for the "Online Banners" page, have the pop up open up to the dimensions of the particular banner ad and play the swf. The pop ups shouldn't have scroll bars, only a title and the button to close the window.

The "descripton" movie clips have the descriptions and the "Detailed View" links in the frames, and the movie clips I not so gracefully butchered to get the pop up to work were TM_page_content_scroll (where you're supposed to put an image in a certain frame and then put the # of that frame in the Actionscript of the "Detailed View" button), and the TM_main_cont_page2 and TM_pop_up_main3, which were the ones I duplicated.
If ANYONE can offer even the slightest bit of help, I gratefully appreciate it. I've been working on this thing for like 15 hours a day and I can't even think straight at this point, thanks!

I admit to not having read everything you wrote... there's just too much of it. But...
Hashtable (and HashMap, which you should really be using unless you have some external constraint requiring the use of Hashtable) map each key to a single value object.
That is, you can map from the key string "4996" to one single other object. And then you can also map from a different key to a different object.
In you put() method, you add a mapping from "4996" to "good", and then you replace that mapping with one from "4996" to "home". There is only ever one value associated with a given key.
To map multiple values to a single key, you need the value object to be a collection of some kind (or an array). So, you could map your string "4996" to a List, and that list could contain the strings "good", "home", etc.

Sync issue with 650 to windows XP Pro

I am having an issue with syncing my palm 650 to my computer. The Hotsync manager version on desktop is 7.0.2. The palm is 5.4.0. All the user settings are correct between the two devices. Here is a copy of my Hotsync log.
