Issue with Yahoo Business Mail

I created a Fill-in form in LiveCycle with button with "Submit" option as PDF the URL is set to mailto:[email protected] This works as desired for most customers, however, I have one customer that uses Yahoo Business Mail (online). This customer does not get an email form to open when he clicks the submit button. Any one have an idea on possible issues or fixes?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Having issues with Yahoo mail on ios4 on a 3GS

Is anyone else experiencing issues with Yahoo mail on their 3GS after the upgrade to ios4?? Keep getting an imap server error, but gmail works fine.

Same problem. I have two Yahoo! Mail accounts. One stopped sending mail, while the other was fine. (Both could receive, however.) To solve that, I deleted the problematic account from the phone and reinstalled it. It worked... until I synced by iPhone with iTunes. Now both Yahoo! Mail accounts will not work, and deleting them and reinstalling them does nothing.
Apple had better fix this. (Or I'll whine louder.)

The scroll bar on the list of messages in Yahoo Business mail is missing.
It is there in Chrome.

we have similar problems with vertical scroll bar is missing for few transactions when we use SAP Gui for HTML , our enviroments recently upgraded ,we created customer message and they replied back saying Next Support Package(of ITS 700)will have fix for this problem,
but did not mentioned about estimated dates on that.

How do i stop getting spam coming to my mailbox using Yahoo Business mail? I use Yahoo Biz Mail, but am now getting a huge amount of spam. I don't get any using the same address on my iPhone. I ran a Malware app - didn't help. Any ideas??

The Java plugin has created a time unfriendly issue with my e-mail account, I can not open or send any e-mail without using this plugin, how can I eliminate this problem without dropping m. firefox?

A few days ago I tried to e-mail a friend, when I started A box came up and it required me to add a plugin..Java. I contacted my e-mail courier and microsoft, they told me that is was a plugin from Mozilla Firefox. Since then I must go through Java to send or open an e-mail... this is NOT to my satisfaction, it takes too long for all of this to open and if it is not cleared , I am dropping Mozilla and going elsewhere. Why has this occurred? Is this a result of the last update? If so can I delete the last update and continue on the other version?

It might be helpful for us if we knew exactly which web-mail provider you are using. It seems strange to me that viewing or sending web-mail would actually "need" Java for operation, its more likely that some other item on the web page needs Java to run some advertising or other garbage that isn't a necessary part of the web-mail functionality you want to use.

JDev 10.1.3.3 - issues with imported Business Components

I have got some issues with importing Business Components in JDev 10.1.3.3.
I cannot discover/use the imported components.
What I did is the folowing:
1. In a existing project I extended the default base-classes to create our own layer
2. created a project called ModelShared
2a. configured the project to use the base-classes I created in step 1
2b. created an entitybased-viewobject (RefCodesByDomain)
2c. created bc deployment-descriptors
3. created a project called RelatieModel in the same workspace as ModelShared
3a. added dependencies to the deployment-descriptors as well as the project created in step 2
3b. configured the project to use the base-classes I created in step 1
3c. imported business components
Although I did not recieve any errors during the import of business components, I am unable to add the vo (RefCodesByDomain) to a service.
I do see the package which contains the vo but is has no entries.
Importing the business components to a new BC Project in a seperate workspace did succeed (I could reuse the vo).
I tested a little further and the folowing occurred:
4. I created a new vo in the ModelShared Project
5. I deployed the ModelShared
6. Restarted JDeveloper
7. Got the folowing error message in the console window when expanding a service in my datacontrol pallette:

Issue with executing Business Rules from Planning web

Hi,
We are using Hyperion Planning 9.3.0.1 and we keep getting an issue with the Business Rules. We get an error if we try to run the rules from Planning web. The same rules validates and executes fine if we run it from AAS. This issue gets resolved if we restart the Planning and RMI service. But this issue keeps happening randomly. Is there a permanent resolution to it? Is it a bug or I am missing something here?

Have you installed any of the patches for 9.3.0.1, I think it goes up to 9.3.0.1.09
One of the fixes was :-
8-665086601 (6588823) – When the Business Rules connection to the relational database is lost, Business Rules does not reconnect to it. To solve this problem, an optional property, HBR_CONNECTION_VALIDATE_TIME, was added to HBRServer.properties. This property specifies a time interval for checking the connection between Business Rules and the relational database. If the connection is not valid, a new connection is established. The time interval is specified in milliseconds and defaults to 300,000 (five minutes).
Though I know there has been more attention to fixing known issues on 9.3.1 than 9.3.0.1

Yahoo Business Mail finally working again after 11 months

Thanks to Safari 4.0.4 Yahoo Business Mail is finally working after breaking over 11 months ago because of an Apple update. I'm glad I don't have to switch to a different browser just to check my email anymore but having to wait a year for a bugfix that Apple themselves caused and refused to fix was really annoying.

Comcast Issues with Mountain Lion Mail Client (v.6)

I am having same issues receiving my e mail in Mail in my comcast account. I did have google but deleted the e mail and even my entire google account to hopefully resolve problem. Problem remains. I have tried so many things and am waiting to hear from a tech. Was on phone with Apple for hours on Sat. morning but no resolution yet. I am wondering if it is an i cloud issue.

This thread was created by someone who had issues with their Google Mail not being fetched by the Mail app in Mountain Lion.
Their presumption was that it was the Mail App.
It turns out Google have had a problem and it not only effects Macs using Mountain Lion.
This Google Issue should in no way effect the fetching or sending of Mail via your ISP (Comcast) Login.
I don't see any info in your post that links your Comcast account to iCloud so it is difficult to follow your reasoning that iCloud is involved.
This means you have a different issue to the Original Poster.
Unfortunately it is not likely to get addressed here (Broadly speaking the presumption is that a different question should have it's own thread)
It can be difficult to judge sometimes if you have a different issue or not.
I would suggest starting your own thread.

Issues with Yahoo Mu

Has anyone been able to resolve the issue with Yahoo Music and not being able to transfer songs to their Zen Micro or other devices? I have done every software and firmware update listed and reformted my zen micro numerous times but I stil get the error message saying "Device transfer license not found" or something along those lines. Thanks in advance

I have an xtra and a micro.
My xtra works great with the Yahoo! Music Unlimited client but not my micro; with the micro, it mostly hangs.
A work around is to import the Yahoo! tracks into Microsoft Windows Media Player (WMP) and use it to transfer tracks to the micro; it's fast and doesn't hang at all.
WMP doesn't have the excellent playlist support that the Yahoo! client has but, oh well, it works.

Having issues sending Yahoo/att mail with one account

Since upgrading to OS Mountain Lion, we have all sorts of issues. This weeks challenge seems to be that my one (and main) e-mail account through Yahoo/att will receive in batches, but not send at all. I have another business e-mail account and it is sending and receiving fine. Mail prompts me for my password over-and-over again. Obviously both accounts settings are identical except for username and password. Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.

Help is just a posting away! Let's get your picture messaging working to other devices on your account. Are you having any issues with texts? Also, are these pictures that you took on the device? Can I assume that you are using the original text messaging app on all of the phones? If so then please turn off iMessage on the iPhones and test the service. Let us know the results so we can proceed.

Yahoo business mail stopped being pushed to both of my iMacs, but working fine on iPhone.

I recently updated to 10.9.2. And I can see the messages on the server, but why can't I see them in mail??
I've tried deleting the account from my preferences, and adding it back in but still nothing. My normal yahoo mail still is working fine.
For business mail, I pay for POP forwarding.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm SO frustrated with this Yahoo! email integration... I'm seeing the same issues as you:
1) PUSH email stops pushing
2) "Sent" email messages ("whoosh" sound implies all is well) via Yahoo! are not actually being sent.
This would be bad enough if when sending email the client actually told me there was a failure... but it turns out it's been a completely transparent problem. All appears well, but isn't.
The only solution I seem to have found is to delete the Yahoo mail account in the Settings/Mail area, and then re-add it through the Settings/Mail UI. After doing this I find that Push notifications and the ability to send email via Yahoo! mail returns.
.... The problem is that - based on previous experience - it won't be long before the client, or Yahoo (I have no idea where the problem really lies) will quietly stop functioning again.
I'm also a Yahoo! Plus email subscriber, if this has anything to do with the issue. Any non-plus users out there running into this issue?
Apple / Yahoo / AT&T... PLEASE fix this!

Issues with connection busy functionality

Here are a few things I've noticed with the busy connection functionality:
If I want to right click in a SQL worksheet window while a tab has a query running (current or different tab) I get the "connection busy" error. Don't know why this is b/c right clicking should not be contacting the DB so it's not like I'm trying to run another process or something.
I had one tab with a basic select statement and another that was running another script that was taking a while to execute. The tab running had a bunch of insert statements running but not in a pl/sql block. The script had 15,729 inserts. When I tried running a statement on the other tab, I recieved the "connection busy" error, and I clicked abort. Instead of not trying to connect, I kept recieving the "connection busy" error over and over. The second tab came back with results finally. When my other tab with the insert statements was done, I checked the number of rows in my table - 15,717! So it looks like when I was clicking abort the other script was skipping statements or something! Good thing I double checked b/c this nasty little bug would have caused me some grief in the future.

The connection-busy-abort-retry dialog is popped us when a JDBC operation is being performed on the connection and another such operation is requested.
SqlDeveloper uses single connection/session everywhere, so in your case, in the second worksheet, the same connection was being used which was busy through the operation in first worksheet.
Right click on the worksheet, does some JDBC operation, hence you got the dialog in second worksheet.
One workaround is to use unshared sql worksheet (ctrl-shif-n in a woeksheet).
A better solution for above issues is being worked on by the development team that should give you better concurrency and responsiveness.
This would be available in next major release of Sql Developer.

Mail issues with Apple's Mail

I was using Outlook Express to send & receive mail. And then (because Outlook Express has been giving me fits with errors and needing to put my password in every time I wanted to use it) I switched to Mail (the one that came on my Mac).
And now, with Mail, something crazy is happening on my iPhone and iPad. It showed that it was downloading and downloading and downloading, but I don’t know what it was downloading. Archived stuff? Everything that is in everything in every folder on my Mac?
Then it stopped downloading stuff, and now it won’t send, I get an error saying that it Cannot Send Mail.
I tried to delete my email account from settings so that I could start over, but the gear just spun and spun for over 30 minutes.
I have no idea what is going on, but I think that it must be connected to the fact that I switched from Outlook Express to Mail.
Please, if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Now the issue with this code is: For the first iteration, SbusComp.firstRecord returns 0 if records does not exist. However from the second iteration, SbusComp.firstRecord returns 1 even if there is no record matching the search specification.

In the end, I also had to invoke the business component method SetAdminMode with "true" as the argument so that I could also modify the records from my script.
