**Issues after OS 10.6.6 upgrade**

Hi,
Hopefully I'm in the right place!
Spec: Macbook 2006, 2GB RAM, 320gb HD, OS 10.6.6, Boot Camp (Win 7)
2 problems:
1) After the update to OS 10.6.6 and the purchase of Iphoto 11 from the App store, I have been unable to open Iphoto, unless I unmount the boot camp partition. I have tuxera NTFS installed, which allows me to mount the Windows 7 parition on OSX. I've tried to uninstall this from system preferences, but have struggled to get the website uninstall instructions to work. Is there a way I can stop the Windows partition mounting through the OS? Or is there another fix to this annoying iphoto issue.
ps. I've done a bit of research, and found info about removing the windows partition from spotlight search, but this hasn't worked.
2) Ever since 10.6.6 update, time machine hasn't worked. It either says 'calculating changes' for hours or it starts to exclude 1000's of items from the backup. I've tried a full reset of time machine, but that doesn't work.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
