  • I've changed the account password...

I've changed the account password and now the system ask me to confirm the CC number again.
I've already done this when I've installed itunes on a new PC and i've been charged 1.98 euro.
I'll be charged again? (and this will be the third time...)
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks,
    Paolo

    Thank you for your answer.
The first time I was charged 2 days ago when I registred my iPhone, and the second one 1 day ago when I installed iTunes on my new PC.
I'll wait some days to check again...

Apple requests that you forward these types of emails to them as follows (from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4933):
If you receive a suspicious email, select the message text so that it is highlighted. Choose Forward as Attachmentfrom the Message menu (OS X Mail) or the Actions menu (Outlook). Send the email to [email protected] This provides Apple's legal department and law enforcement with useful information to help prevent future phishing emails.

  • Who Changed Hyperion Account Password

We are using Hyperion v11.1.1.3 suite (Planning, Essabase, Shared Services, FR, IR, HFM). We had an issue where an administration privileged account password was changed. We are trying to find out if someone changed this password intentionally or if somehow this password got corrupted. Can someone provide some direction where I could find log files where I may find this information? Is it possible the password got corrupted, since everyting else (accouts) are fine?

If you have auditing enabled in Shared services you should be able under audit reports in HSS, otherwise I doubt you will see it.
It would be very rare for a password to be corrupt
    Cheers

  • Changed service account passwords, now can't image

    sccm 2012 sp1 with cu2, on server 2012.
everything's been working as expected since pilot began in january.  As part of routine maintenance, we changed the passwords on our sccm service accounts last week (early may). Now we can't image anything, so we had to change the passwords back to
    what they used to be.
I can't find any place in sccm other than the domain join step in the task sequence that actually has a password field.  as part of troubleshooting, we changed only one of the service account passwords (left the one in the TS used for domain join as-is)
but imaging still failed - one of the first steps in the task seq (while in winpe) tries to download a package and fails with a 401 authentication error per the smstslog.
thing is, i don't know where in sccm to specify the password used at that point.  because of the way we changed only one account password and then it failed, we know which account it's trying to use, but have no idea where to set that account or its
password in sccm.  i couldn't find any options in winpe config, and not even under the network access account in the console's admin section.  seems the naa screen only lets you choose WHICH AD account to use, but doesn't let you give it the pw for
    that account.
    suggestions?

    Hi,
It sounds like it is the Network access password you need to change, you can change it in the admin console under \Administration \ Site Configuration\ Security\ Accounts there you can set the password by selecting the account and set then set the password.

i haven't tested it yet but that's probably it.  i'd been to that screen but hadn't clicked the SET button, which of course has a password field.
one minor correction though - the tree to get to that section is just administration/ security/ accounts.  site configuration is a different node a little higher on the tree.

  • Does the computer lock me after a certain amount of failed password attmepts, even when i finally have the correct password? recently changed root account password, but then forgot today and when tried again didn't work.  if so, how long does lock last?

Ok. So I just changed my ADMINISTRATIVE ROOT PASSWORD the other day and when I tried to log in today I forgot it.  I tried different variations of
the password I had set, because I wasn't sure if i had maybe set it in Caps Lock or used a different number in the sequence.  I got the message several times
about "too many attempts, try again later".  Does the computer lock me from signing in even with the correct password after a certain amount of failed
attempts?  If so, how long does this lock last for?  When can I try again?  Or is there something I need to do to remove that lock now?  I'm pretty sure I
had the right password finally but it still wouldn't accept it.
Also, I don't have any other administrative users set up on my macbook pro.  I'm the only one who uses it, so I've always just used that original User from my
    original setup.

    Do this:
    1. Reboot
    2. Hold apple key + s key down after you hear the chime. (command + s on newer Macs)
    3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
    (Type these commands very carefully)
    mount -uw /
    rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
    shutdown -h now
    4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can change the passord on the old one.

  • Prevent priviledge 15 account from changing enable account password

Hi all. I would like to check which priviledge level i should assign a network admin which allows him to configure my firewall at all aspects except changing the password the default enabled account. Thks in advance.

Create a custom level (ie 14 would work) for him and remove the appropriate commands in AAA.
    Hope that helps.

  • Firefox won't let me change my account password.

I used to have a firefox account and thought I deleted it. When I tried to get a new one it told me it already had an account with that email address. I couldn’t remember the password and have tried to reset it but I keep getting “oops you can’t do that” or something similar. I’ve chosen passwords up to 80% in strength but no luck. I had to use another email address to set up an account so I can get my password question asked. I won’t have access to this email for much longer so this second account is not a solution.

Ok, I found that ASC does in fact have a Homepage Protection setting, I had no idea that was in there. I'll disable that and see if it does the trick.
I'll look into the hang-at-exit fixes too.
    Thanks!

  • HT1918 how do I change my account password

how do I change my password

You can log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Apple Id menu option at the top of iTunes (if you are on iTunes 11 on a PC then Alt-S should get the Store menu to appear), and when you've logged in click the Edit button to the right of your id towards the top of the screen that you are taken to.
Or you can do it via this page : https://appleid.apple.com/

  • Changing my account password

    Hi all,
My apologies if I am asking this in the wrong forum.
When I first signed up with an account and got my CCNA I worked for a different company than I work for now. The email address I used to sign up is specific to that company and I no longer have access to it.
I cannot find where to change where all my cisco emails are sent.
Can I change it to say, a gmail account (I recall cisco insisting that I have a non-free one when I signed up) or can I reassign it to my current jobs email?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Steven,
Please see attached for the requisite steps
    Cheers!
