after sitting at the computer for a couple hours, the download failed:

i really don't have time to sit through another hours long download, is this the only solution?

Boji girl you can also download the trial installer from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us and utilize the serial number you received with your order to install and license Photoshop Elements 12.
Please also be aware that only two activations are included with your Photoshop Elements 12. This means you can utilize the software on up to two computers. You can find more details in the EULA at http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html.

I have tried to download Elements 12 several times and every time the download counts down to less than a minute then fails. I am operating Windows 8 on a pc. I have a licence for Elements 12 which is working fine on my Win 7 laptop.

try a different browser and/or a different connection and/or a download manager.

Downloaded Elements 7 won't accept my serial number, Invalid

I damaged my Elements 7 disc. I had to download Elements 7 from the Adobe website and I am now getting a message that my serial number is Invalid. Adobe customer service told me it is not a deactivation/activation issue and the serial number is good. What can I do next?

Hi Keith
As part of the platform swap process we provide a serial number for the platform required and send a DVD set (some of our DVD sets include both platforms but the license is just for a single platform).
You will be able to license the Mac trial product with your serial number though.

I am trying to download Elements 11...

Twice I downloaded files to my computer but its not saving as a program, rather as individual files. I have the download asst. on computer. I saved both to desktop. What can it be?

I'm not double clicking on any file. Where did you get that?I read the attached link and I see its for PURCHASED programs. Again, its the 30 day trial I am trying to download. I see that I'm not the only one having trouble downloading this free trial of PS Elements 11. Perhaps its, (like you say to someone else), Corrupted.
I'll let them know at the support dept.

Cannot download Elements 11 - website thinks IE10 is earlier than IE4 [was: Downloading]

I want to download Elements 11 purchased earlier. Website refuses, says my Internet Explorer is earlier than IE 4. My IE is 10. What can I do?

It's a common issue with IE10 and some Adobe products. One theory is that Adobe's download manager seems to interpret IE10's browser ID string as IE1.
Solution is to use Compatibility View in IE10 (so Adobe's download manager thinks it's IE9 or IE8 or IE7).

Alternatively use a different browser.

Help! Brand New Lenovo A10-70 - Issue Downloading Apps

Hi Lenovo Community,
I just purchased a brand new A10-70 tablet and while I love the price and features, there appears to be on major issue. Whenever I try to download game apps from Google Playstore, the pad errors out and tells me "Application Could Not Load to SD Card", heck I don't even have an SD card installed.
This is actually the second tablet doing this to me. I took the first one back and exchanged it thinking that there was a software glitch but it now appears it is a platform issue.
Games such as Minecraft PE simply will not load while others appear to load fine but then when you go to open the app and use it, you get a notice that the app is not installed.
I have other tablets from Samsung, HP and even Nabi which have never had issues downloading game application.
What's up with Lenovo?
I am willing to try to get corrected but cannot wait long, will take back and get another Samsung.

Hello, I've started having an issue downloading songs and apps from iTunes to our PC which has Windows XP Professional installed. We also use Karspersky Anti-Virus and Firefox as an internet browser. Have never had this issue before, it comes up with "An unknow error has occured and downloads are stopped with an error 8003. Also says please check your network connection" We have no issue connecting to iTunes store or the network so not sure how to fix this. It is very frustrating. Have checked Windows Firewall and iTunes is an exception, can't think of anything else why it won't work.

I sounds as though you need to start again. The following article tells you how to completely remove iTunes and Quicktime. If you didn't actually install iTunes you wont find it in add/remove programs so you can't do that bit, but still delete the iTunes folder in Program Files as advised in the article.

Once you have got rid of them, try installing the latest version of iTunes. There is a link to it in the article.
Itunes wont move your music for you, get iTune sgoing then ask again.

When downloading Elements 13, how do I get the option to choose between the 32 and 64 bit versions? I am automatically getting the 32 bit version which is no good for my operating system.

I've downloaded Elements twice and can't open it

I navigate to the file PhotoshopElements_13_LS25_Win64. When I click on it, my computer doesn't recognize an Lz file and asks me what Ap I should be using. I have Windows 8, which is new to me. Where's the exe file? Anyone know how to open this?

Yes, I downloaded Elements 13 three times directly from Adobe, and not once was there an .exe file in the download folder. After I left this message this morning, I googled .7z files and learned I needed to install Win Zip, so I did that...Win Zip recognized the file, but when I clicked on it I got an error message. Of course I'm taking a Photoshop class and am now 2 days behind. So, this morning I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 from Wal Mart online, and it has been in the process of downloading for the past 7 hours (I have a brand new Lenovo laptop for goodness sake)...but at least it gave me the option of selecting a 64 bit download. I didn't have that option with the Elements trial. So...waiting and keeping my fingers crossed. The download says it's 68%, so I ought to know about 8 p.m. MST.

You can not use File-Upload UI element inside confirmation dialog ,because there is no provision to add any UI ,except Button.
