Issues in ICS update for Xperia Arc

I am using Xperia Arc. I have done the ICS update recently and I am totally disappointed with this update. The thing is some features already there in the 2.3.4 version of android is not there in ICS update.
When long press the power button ‘take screenshot’ option was there in the 2.3.4 but in ICS that option is not there.
I have seen the beautiful lock screen in ICS forums but it is missing in the ICS update
Music player is still same like 2.3.4 android version. I was expecting the custom equalizer as like Arc S . but it is not there in Arc ICS update
Google says recently opened apps will be displayed in the home screen in ICS. But its missing in the my ICS update.
Google says live and transformation effects are there in ICS but I am not able to see those things in my Xperia Arc after ICS update.
Kindly let me know is there any solutions for the above issues..

1. You take screenshot by long pressing power and volume down button (booth at same time) in ICS, thats how google has made it.
2. What beautiful lockscreen are you talking about? Sony has kept the lockscreen same because thats the lock screen many users are used to.
3. Yes music player is same. I have an Arc S, the music player is same. The music player with equalizer is in Xperia S not in Arc S.
4. Google never said any such things. You can see the recently opened apps by LONG PRESSING THE HOME BUTTON and can close them by Swiping it off the screen.
5. Once again Google didnt say any such thing. If you want to change transision effects and stuff use Apex Launcher instead of Sony's launcher. You can get Apex launcher for free from Play Store.

I have updated my xperia ray using SEUS and everything is alright except that i dont find face unlock option when i go to screen lock section in the settings......tell me if i should install it again or isnt the service provided for this model

We need new Update for Xperia 2011 only

we need new Update for Xperia 2011 only,
in This Update We need Only 3 times :
1- Battery Precentage
2- Change Network ( 3G - E - H ) Icon
3- Messid Call in Lock Screen ( Swip to se the message )
Because Today i'm see the ICS in Xperia P and there is the battery precentage ,
and the network icon for ICS not nice and very small
and the mesed call in Xperia S in the lock screen ( Swip to se the message ) at's very nice

when are these lazzyy sony staff members are going to release ICS update for other sony xperia U SI numbers..
enough..im now out of patience waiting for months nd months still no udpate..its already 2nd week of oct while the samsung already rolled out ICS update for 2012 phone..now they are in plan to release jeally bean for their devices..
very unresoponsible..itz shame on them..

Jelly Bean update for Xperia go in Middle East

im not sure if Jelly Bean update for Xperia go in Middle East is available.
cause im trying to update my phone from ICS to JB using [PC Companion and sony update service] an message appear says that [you already have the latest update].

AT1S0 - ICS Update for Australian users - When?

Hi, do we have any estimate for ICS update for Toshiba Thrive mini AT1S0 7"???
USA users already got it, what is about Australia? Thanks in advance.

What build number do you have installed?
Also what PDAxxx-xxxxxx model number do you see in Service Station?
I needed to install the small Honeycomb update to build number v3.2.1.33.5.0002 through Service Station, then the ICS update appeared afterwards after checking for Service Station updates again.
Make sure you have a direct internet connection, I don't think service station works through a proxy.

Xperia arc S LT18i - contact issues after ICS update

I've encountered an ICS problem regarding contacts. Contact search field is not functioning well when searching for a specific name..i found this problem while trying to text somebody. Contact search field wasn't accurate at all after ICS update...

Can you please elaborate on this issue? What exactly do you get when you start typing out a contact name?

Why no ICS update for 2011 Xperia WT19i after August 2012

Hi Sony
Since long we are waiting for ICS update after 4.1.B.0.587 for 2011 Xperia Phone. After August 2012, Not Update received. Even 4.1.B.1.13 has been certified in December 2012. But Sony did'nt released any update after August 2012. I am facing problem so many problem after ICS update of Aug 2012 4.1.b.0.587. Camera problem (after flash light on takes more time to take photograph) lagy Dialer, LED problem, network selection phone goes in WCDMA(pref.) / GSM from GSM ONLY ,when we restart mobile.2G/3G etc.etc.).

No JB update for Xperia P...

I still didn't recive an update for my Xperia P. I live in Bosnia&Herzegovina and i didnt by my phone from my carrier so its unlocked phone. So can anyone tell me why my Xperia P is still stuck with ICS...? Is it really beacause of the country I live in ( it's not our turn ) or what, cause I know people in my town who own Xperia U and are still stuck with android 2.3 and their update center says their phone is up to date, seriously???? I am really worried that could easily be my faith as well. Im beging you SONY, we're in Europe as well, GIVE ME MY JB I PAID FOR...!

Has Anyone Received ICS Update for 7.7???

My 7.7 will not update OTA. Neither did the 7.7 on display at my local store. I have tried this numerous times with hard resets and both OTA and wi fi. My tablet is running 3.2 version FD01. One rumor on the web is that FD01 will never accept the update, but FD01b might.
I have been on numerous very long conversations with Samsung and Verizon on this issue. They both blame each other and neither admit responsibility for the OTA push. I tried to send the tablet to Samsung for reflash, but their repair rep said that they could not update the Verizon branded 7.7, the update could only be done OTA from Verizon.
Verizon says they have no control over the OTA update pushes.
I made contact with a Google rep who wrote:
"Thank you for contacting Google Play Support.
I understand your concern and frustration in trying to find more information about updates for your tablet. While this issue isn't supported by Google Play, hopefully I can clarify the update process. When an update to Android is released, it is received by the various manufacturers, carriers, and a few devices (such as the Nexus 7 and Nexus 4) receive OTA updates directly from our servers. Unfortunately, very few devices receive OTA updates directly from us here at Google. Instead, various manufacturers and carriers tend to take an Android update and modify it to their needs before releasing it to their respective devices. Since your device is a Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy tab 7.7, either Samsung or Verizon would ultimately be responsible for deciding whether or not the latest Android OS versions are pushed to your device."
So it looks to me like Verizon is the culprit even though their Tech support does not know it.
So, at this point, the question is: Has ANYONE received the OTA update from Verizon that worked, and if so, do you remember which 3.2 update you were running that accepted the push?

I should have been a bit more specific on which 7.7's I am referring to.
Specifically, has anyone with the Verizon branded SCH i815 model received the update? Or has anyone bought or received a refurb tablet from Verizon that had the ICS operating system already running?
It is clear that the other wi fi 7.7's that Samsung sells can be and have been updated by Samsung, but my conversation with Samsung indicated to me that they cannot or will not update the SCH i815 because it is a Verizon specific model.
What I am looking for here is info on the SCH i815 as to whether ANY of them are running ICS and how/where did that occur.
