Issues in PR05 -- Transfer to FI

Hi All,
I want to know in PR05 T-Code under the settlement there is "TRANSFER TO FI".
Here my doubt is
1. How to assign this TRANSFER TO FI?? I tried to create a trip and i saved but i couldnt find any option like Transfer to FI.
2. If a trip has the settlement as Transfer To FI, then in what are the FI tables does the data gets stored. I want the tables which gets involved in PR05 Tcode(FI).

Issue in Stock transfer

Hi
We have an issue in Stock Transfer. the Stock transfer happens between a manufacturing plant which is excise registered and a depot, which is not excise registered. We raise a Stock Transfer order from the depot on manufacturing plant with a freight component. The system creates a freight provision in the depot, when the goods issue is done by the manufacturing plant against the stock Transfer Order. After the goods issue the material is shown in Transit in report MB5T until the same is recieved by the depot. However, some goods are lost in transit and the same is recovered from the freight vendor. In such a case, we do a MIGO for the actual quantity recieved at depot and pass a debit note to vendor by loading the difference to material.
The issue is:
1. the quantity and the value of the physical inventory recieved have been rectified by a recovery from the vendor.
2. However, how can we remove the goods, which we have short recieved from the report MB5T
The certain work around we have thought could be :
1. Receive the quantity in full at the recieveing Depot and then scrap the material to the extent it has been received short through M Type 551. However, the issue arises in case of transfer of goods from one manufacturing plant to another, where in both are excise registered. In such a case, goods receipt in full would not be correct as it would raise issues in excise registers.

Hi,
One suggestion is you can pass a document through MB1A for material loss in transit for the mateial lost.
Followign accounting Entry would be hit :
Transporter shrinkage Clearing Dr
to Inventory Raw Mateial Cr
You can pass the same document through Mvt. Type 951 (GI Lost in Transit).

Issue In Asset Transfer

I have an issue in Asset. I have created an asset in a wrong asset class by mistake. Now I want to transfer the asset value to an asset created in the right asset class. But when I am doing this, the system is transferring the proptionate depreciation calculated to the new asset. Pls suggest

It seems that the depreciation key has been configured to calculate the depreciation from the depreciation start key mainatained in the depreciation area. Hence, when you do the asset transfer, the system would post a pro rata depreciation from the depreciation start date to the date of transfer and transfer the same to the new asset. Howver, you can avoid that by changing the depreciation start date to the date of transfer. In such a case, no pro rata depreciation would not be calculated and transferred to the new asset.

Issues with data transfer / connectivity

Hi,
I bought a Curve 8320 last week and activated BIS. The issue that I am facing is:
- Mails do not get delivered and connectivity to the internet is lost even though the data signal (EDGE) is available. I can see an upload arrow flashing on the right top corner
- What I have noticed is that the connectivity gets resumed when I do any of the following:
a. Switch on WiFi (immediately the data connection starts receiving and sending messages and internet connectivity is resumed). Even after switching off the WiFi, it works fine
b. Switch off the device and restart
Can someone help me? Please let me know if you need any more details.

You can try using FExplorer and using it to delete the file C:\system\shareddata\101ff93b.ini from the phone. It should reset the Data Transfer app.

Issue in stock transfer with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi Experts,
In LQ02 with movement type 321 Q, when a transfer stock from Quality inspection project to Unrestricted project is made, our requirement is to further transfer the stock from Unrestricted project to Unrestrcited using movmt type 411 Q.
i.e. Run LQ02 with Movt type 321 Q => should also trigger goods movmt with 411 Q.
for this we have used badi method MB_DOCUMENT_BADI ~MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE to trigger an update function module ZFM with start delayed. i.e. this ZFM will be triggered in update task to transfer stock from unres proj to Unres using 411 Q from LQ02.
Now the issue is, when some one runs LQ02 with movmt 321 Q, I can see in MMBE that stock is perfectly moved to unrestricted ( QI PRoj to Project and then Proj to Unrest.). However, when I look at the stock overview in LS26 , I still see the stock in Project Unrestricted. ( instead of unrestricted)The movmt ocde I use for bapi is 06.
I have tried using different movement types and codes, however i have the same result. stock overview is perfect in MM and not correct in WM. I''m out of ideas. Please help. I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for the hint. I did check in LU04 and unfortunately I don't see any open TO created nor to be confirmed.
now, I did observe some strange behaviour while testing. When I again run LQ02 with movt type 309 or 411, I could see that the material is very well transfered from project unrest to Unrest.
This is surprising , since I supply the same data in Badi, however it does not do the same for WM (LS26 Transaction ) but does for MM (MMBE).
Do you think any customizing tables underlying are causing this. please help.

CLOSE ISSUE - FI PCA transfer issue

We have an critical issue which is holding our close now.
After transferring AP AR Subledger and PCA transfer we see that some accounts have different balance in PCA compare to FI.
In detail, we did the following steps -
Used T Code F.5D Which calculates the Balance sheet Adjustments AP AR documents
Used T code 1KEK to transfer the AP AR to PCA
Went to SM37 to process the same
Checked the Job Log and confirmed that there are no errors
Used Y_DEV_19000069 report to check whether the balances are transferred correctly to PCA and found the above differences

Issue was solved . We find those accounts in 3KEH.
We have to remove them from 3KEH for the amounts to be trasfered to profit centers.

Rescue & Recovery issues trying to transfer files

I have an annoying issue. My lappy woke up this morning with the CI.DLL error and I get the error screen saying that this was deleted and I'm unable boot. Tried booting in safe and still did not work. So I went into rescue & recovery to restore and I wanted to transfer some files I had on my hard drive that were not backed up. I have an external hard drive and I've done this before; transferring files before I do a complete restore. I tried it this morning, selected the files I want transferred and then it pulls up a screen that says 0% complete, files could not be transferred??? Any ideas? Would this be caused by the error above? Thanks.

It is unlikely that someone with a solution will browse by in 37 minutes, this is a peer to peer forum. I have moved your post here as your issue is more R&R than hardware related it will hopefully be seen by more members who use R&R.
As a thought, are you able to remove the hard drive and copy the files you need by attaching it to another system?

Issues in data transfer from XI

Hi all,
We tried to send data from 3rd party system to SAP through XI.
The XI is calling an RFC function module to pass data into SAP.
After sending the data, we checked that the data in SAP looks different from the data sent through XI.
when the same data has been tried to sent again from XI to SAP, this time the data was similiar.
No changes have been made to either XI(mapping) or in RFC function module.
Any way if we can check where the problem was so that the same issue doesnu2019t repeat the next time.
Any suggestions/inputs on this issue would be appreciated.

check in XI side all the data are coming and mapping rules in XI side , once the XI system get proper data then you can check in SAP side....

Issues in Data Transfer Process

Hello All,
After creating transformation from Infosource to InfoCube, now i am trying to data transfer process.
In DTP Type it displays "DTP for direct process", but i need DTP type as Standard(Can be scheduled).
Its giving me an error as "Source does not support direct access"
Could any one help me to solve this error.

Hi,
You can only use the type DTP for Direct Access as the target of the data transfer process for a VirtualProvider.

E Rec integration issue while data transfer

Hi Experts,
In E Recruitment we are facing an issue that when education is getting transferred from E Rec to PA then education is not getting transferred correctly.
The issue is because in E Rec we are using table T77RCF_DEGREE & in PA we are using Table T518a. Challenge is coming in their synchronization.
Please suggest if any workaround is possible.

Usually the 'standard way' to execute the syncronization is through the indicated steps in the following link:

This scenario must be recommended to your customer if its using talent management in its HCM system and its in the correct version. Otherwise, if the customer still requires the sync to PA infotypes, I see the following walkarounds: (Depending your scenario, the technology you're using and the moment in which you need to sync the data, if you can provide more detail in this points we can get the best solution)
- Implement a custom RFC with all the logic to read/write/convert the information between infotypes
- Use PI to convert/translate the information
- Modify the logic of the synchronization reports mentioned in the link above.

T&E: Request PDF issue in PR05.

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to display the Request PDF in PR05 transaction code. Is there any configuration needed?
As of now when I select "Result" & "Simulation" option in PR05 its display Expense PDF. In TRIP transaction code it is displaying Request PDF.

By clicking Simulate Button - Expense PDF will be displayed. The requirement was to display the Request PDF in PR05 Transaction code.
I was able to achieve by activating the Travel package in SFP transaction code.

IPhoto launch issues after botched transfer of old Photos

I just purchased a new iMac yesterday and moved my old iPhoto Library from an external harddrive to iPhoto on my new Mac. The problem is that my last version on iPhoto was an older version and I didn't run the updater first (didn't know about it at the time). When I dragged the library over, it asked if i wanted to replace the library file (or reference to the file, i can't remember). I said yes and now my new iPhoto wont load. I just get a pop up box that says "To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared".
I installed the updater but it still does not open. I'd like to restore iPhoto back to it's original state and transfer my photos properly. Any ideas?

You have to install And Run the library upgrader - go to yoru applications folder ==> utilities and run it then launch iPhtoo to complete the upgrade

Two issues: activation of transfer rules and data load performance

I have two problems I face very often and would like to get some more info on that topics:
1. Transfer rules activation. I just finished transport my cubes, ETL etc. on productive system and start filling cubes with data. Very often during data load it occurs that transfer rules need to be activated even if I transport them active and (I think) did not do anything after transportation. Then I again create transfer rules transports on dev, transport changes on prod and have to execute data load again.
It is very annoying. What do you suggest to do with this problem? Activate all transfer rules again before executing process chain?
2. Differences between dev and prod systems in data load time.
On dev system (copy of production made about 8 months ago) I have checked how long it takes me to extract data from source system and it was about 0,5h for 50000 records but when I executed load on production it was 2h for 200000 records, so it was twice slower than dev!
I thought it will be at least so fast as dev system. What can influence on data load performance and how I can predict it?

1 How freequently this activation problem occurs. If it is one time replicate the datasource and activate thetransfer structure( But in general as you know activation of transfer structure should be done automatically after transport of the object)
2 One thing for difference of time is environmental as you know in production system so many jobs will run at the same time so obiously system performance will be slow compare to Dev System. In your case both the systems are performing equally. You said in dev system for 50000 records half an hour and in production 200000 records 2hrs so records are more in Production system and it took longer time. If it is really causing problem then you have to do some performance activities.

Issue with Data Transfer Workbench

I have a simple user-defined object of a type Master Data based on a table with only three fields (Code, Name, U_Remarks).
When I try to import data to that object using Data Transfer Workbench, it fails to import any of records and gives an error:
Created Failed, Unknown error - 1005.
