Issues in retrieving the Planning profiles in CRM from BW while doing CRM-BI Integration

Dear Folks,
We are in the process of doing the SAP CRM & BI Integration wrt Trade Promotion Mangement.
For testing purposes, we tried to create a planning profile in BPS end i.e BW SEM system & trying to retrieve it from the CRM system using the below navigation.
SPRO-->CRM--> Define Transaction types--> ZBPD is the transaction type we had created.
And in Customizing Header level, in SEM Planning tab, trying to retrieve the Planning profile created in SAP SEM-BW.
Tried to search in both ways i.e prefixing the 'zprofile' with /prf/zprofile but still CRM system is not reading the same from BW system.
What ever the pre-requisites that are needed to be followed before doing all these, the same had been done in terms of creating the RFC Connections etc but still unable to retrieve the same.
And also not finding any standard content in the form of Planning areas & profiles at BW end after installing the SEM BW component add on in BW system.
Could you pls let us know what we are missing here.

We are getting the Planning data from CRM Planning Profiles into BW BPS - 0CRM_C01 Real Time InfoCube.
The Users got a new requirement and they need the following additional details:
1. User who modified the amount in a particular Planning Profile.
2. Date and Time when the Planning Amount has been modified.
3. Differential Amount. (Between Earlier Planning Amount and Planning Amount that was entered now)
In one statement, User needs all the change log details in Planning Amount to be flown to BW and saved so that he can report.
How to create this setup.?
Can the same Real Time InfoCube 0CRM_C01 be used to save this information ?
How to configure the system in Planning Layouts to capture User/Time Stamp/Amount Details.
Any inputs in this regarding will be greatly appreciated.

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer.

Unfortunately you can't restore an incomplete backup.

Hi,
Recording in LSMW is similar as SHDB.
in LSMW after you give Project-Subproject and Object.
1)Go to-> Maintain Object Attributes -> double click
2)Press Display/Change Button at top left to make editable mode.
3)Select radiobuton -> Batch Input -> Give Recording name say Z_mm01
4) Click the Recording Overview boton on right -> Give TCode which u want to record....

Explorer error "Failed to retrieve the Information Spaces list." from HANA

I am getting this dumb error "Failed to retrieve the Information Spaces list. // Request timed out" in Explorer's "Manage Spaces" area every time I click on the analytic view listed under my HANA sources of the Explorer. So, my HANA source is visible, and analytic views are visible in Explorer as well, but I cannot get any Information Space created because of the error, and I could not find the error and its causes in Explorer docs.
I already
- upgraded HANA db to Rev 18 (for some reasons I cannot u[grade this system to SPS3 yet) and BIP and Explorer 4.0 are on the latest Patch 8 of SP2.
- configured connection using IDT defined connection,
- restarted servers in CMS already 100s of times.
There is enough free space on the BO server's drive: 33GB. BO is a single server based on Win2008 R2 SP1 with 40GB RAM.
Any ideas what else I can do to get rid of this issue? It is a test server, so I cannot open customer msg to SAP Support.

Try increasing the timeout under
..\SAP BusinessObjects\Tomcat6\webapps\explorer\WEB-INF\classes\ default.settings.properties
from

How to change the g/l a/c being used while doing goods issue using migo

when I pass a migo entry whilie purchasing material
     , the entry goes through stock
     stock (230000 a/c no)    150        dr
      GR/IR (150000 a/c)      150        cr
when I issue material after reservation for which again migo is done
    entry is
      repairs to plant and mach (4800569 a/c)   175
                stock (230000 a/c no)           175
The stock a/c is debited and credited due to t.code obyc where for inventory posting I have assigned a/c 2300000 for valuation class assigned to material.
now I want to have a/c no 4800689 in place of 4800569. how can i change that.
that is when I issue material from stock this should be debited to 4800689 instead of 4800569. please provide t.code to change the gl from 4800689 from 4800569

How can i retrieve the commplete host name along with the domain name (something like x.y.com) of a server?
I tried using the InetAddress.getHostName(), getCanonicalHostName(), etc but it retrieves me only the host name (only x in x.y.com)
Is there a way to solve ?

getInetAddress() of Socket Class will return the remote IP address in a InetAddress object.
Use the object with the getCanonicalHostName() of InetAddress class.

How can I retrieve the document line status value from UI

Hi,
Right now I need to do some check with the each document line status in UI, but it seems it doesn't exist in the the matrix. When I try to use code like this:
oEditText = (SAPbouiCOM.EditText)oMatrix.Columns.Item("LineStatus").Cells.Item(i).Specific;
It gives me Invalit Column error, I guess the line status field does not exist in the matrix. Do I have to use DI or SQL query to retrieve the like status value?

If the document is open on the screen, you can of course get line status from the UI.
It is column 40:

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I will work on that. Wish I could have thought of that before haha, well the only thing that I will need to check later on is gathering all the file paths within one array. Since the main gets called several times with each file selected, I have to gather them all with the serversocket and then when they are all gathered I can begin another piece of code. Dunno if that will be doable. Since I don't know if the user selects 5 or 400 at the same time, I think the serversocket will append to an arraylist every incoming file paths and the UI viewing the file paths will update itself if other file paths are appended.

Retrieve the most recent history records from a history table

I have a table which stores movement of applications or files. There could be any number of history records for any file in this table. I can know who has a given file right now by using max(date) and the unique id field using the query below:

How do I remove the DNG Profile Editor 2 from a Mac

It sits in my dock. It can't be closed. It can't be dragged to the trash from the dock or from the Finder.
My computer can't be restarted because this application is open. I want to get rid of it but can't

When you completely erase the former owner account information and install a new OS X
using your Apple ID to get the system download from Apple servers, (so you can use App
Store) any older sync'd items in the bluetooth list should be gone. They are not there by
default, so they would not be there after a new fully clean installation of OS X.
What vintage is this second-hand Mac computer product? Does it have an optical drive
and system DVDs or it it newer and relies on download upgrade via App Store?
If you have system discs, (10.6.3) you could install Snow Leopard then update it, to 10.6.8
then visit the App Store online from the updated Snow Leopard, to see about upgrade to
the latest OS X the computer can use. Then with your Apple ID account, set up the Mac to
with a new installation of the most recent OS X it can use.
There should be nothing old in a computer correctly set-up for resale by the original owner
or by a reseller who does business in an official capacity, using proper methods.
