Issues Installing Adobe Premiere 11. Help???

I bought Adobe Premiere 11 off of Amazon.com and was able to download the software directly from the site with no problems. However, I've been having a problem with installing this software. When I try to install it says that "This installer does not support installation on a 64-Bit Windows operating system. If you are installing by browsing through the disk content, then please run the "Setup.exe", If you are not installing from the disks please download the 64-Bit version of Premire Elements 11."
So, I'm not really sure what to do now...help would be great! I don't want to have to buy the software all over again so if there is someway I can fix the problem without having to do that I would really appriicate it!

Now I am trying to install and at the end of the initialization of the installation when it is at the end I get a message saying that there is another adobe´s installation going on at the moment and I should finish it first but there is no other installation. I have looked at the programs I have installed on my computer and there it is one instance of adobe premiere. If I click it to uninstall it doesnt do anything.
I have try to go to regedit and delete it from /microsoft/windows/currentverion/uninstall but I still cant install it.

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Thanks for posting that screenshot. It appears that you have opened your Sequence Settings for a DV-NTSC sequence and have made a circle around the "Edit Settings" button.
Since you chose to create a DV sequence, you cannot change those settings.
Do you have DV NTSC clips? If so, these are the correct settings.
If you do not have DV NTSC clips, do not be concerned. Just create the sequence.
Once you drag a non-DV clip into the DV sequence, it's OK.
You have the option of changing the Sequence Settings to match those of your clip in a new dialog box.
Click "Change Sequence Settings" in the dialog box.

Why cant I install Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Encore ?

So a while ago , my encoder for PP stopped working, so I uninstalled everything today, and I re-downloaded the Premiere Pro trial version - but when I install it , after about 3 min it says that it couldnt install Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 & Encore.
when I press the more information botton it shows me a pop-up with this text:

I'm not sure that I am getting everything from your post.

Did you have the full-paid version originally, or the "trial?"
If you had the full-paid version, why did you download the trial?
If you had the trial, it does stop working after a period of time - it is limited that way. If you had the trial, you can never install another trial on that machine. It's a one-time deal.
If you did have the trial, you will want to not only uninstall it, but also run the Adobe CS4 CleanScript a few times, before you attempt to install the full-paid version, or you WILL have problems.
Let us know exactly what you had, and what you wish to do now, and someone can help you.

Issue: installed Adobe Reader XI, Norwegian version, existing pdf will not open or appear empty

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, but I still have the same issue. Adobe automatically gives me the Norwegian version as I live in Norway. When I open existing pdf files they appear empty, and automatically close themselves after a few seconds.
Any idea how I can solve this problem?

Unable to install adobe premiere elements 10 10

I was trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 but the installation would stop abruptly somewhere half way through and the disk would pop out. I got the serial nuimber therough the web.
What could be the issue here?

Installing adobe premiere elements 4 and importing video

My Dell laptop will not install Adobe Premiere Elements 4. I keep getting an Error message.
I do have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 on my computer, but I am unable to import footage from a DVD.
I think because it is in the wrong format and I need to convert it.
To cope with this problem, I tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 4, but it will not install.
I tried to contact Adobe Tech Support, but Tech support from Adobe is closed.
Even when it opens, I don't know if they will help.

I don't think Tech Support will help with something that old... current is version 10
My GUESS is you have Win7 and version 4 is simply too old

I cannot install Adobe Premiere Elements 11

Hi, please help. I cannot install Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my laptop, I run IE10, I disabled my Anti-Virus software and inserted the Elements DVD. I click on 'Install Adobe Premiere Elements 11', I then select 'English (United States)' from the list of languages. It then starts the 'Preparing to install' process and states that it is 'Configuring Windows Installer'. However, I then get a 'Windows Installer' text box appear, with what appears to be lots of HTML text inside. I click on 'OK' at the bottom of the box and then it just returns to the first screen again. This is very frustrating and I cannot work out what is going wrong with the installation. I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 from the same DVD with no problem

Thanks again, okay, so I click on the 'Install Adobe Premiere Elements 11' and then I select 'English (United States)' from the drop down list of languages -
The next screen shows that it is 'Preparing to install' and I see the following box -
and then finally it brings up a 'Windows Installer' box, however, when I click on 'OK' it takes me back to the first screen again -

When trying to open (load) Adobe Premiere Elements 11 video editing
there is an error

Specified part cannot be found
I had same problem with Adobe 8 and same now with Adobe 11
What to do
or do I return product back, refunding money?

First: Thank you:
I succeed, finally, after few uninstalling/ installing driver and software
/Adobe Pre 11: in differennt order:
AMD/Ati monitor driver run to dating new correct one did not help,
( I had Win7/64 running (pure install with all software), Win8/64 changed
plenty drivers to "her" own General Drivers (Microsoft), what is wrong!!!! )
so I delete monitor driver twice!! First delete did not help, so I delete
again all and run hard disk defrag, re delete driver and forced system to
load AMD/Ati win8 driver and reboot and re install Adobe Premiere 11 again
and after that, now call for error 126, so software works also in video
part.

(Must say, anyway, plenty "rabbish" is in Windows8 now in, when looking in,
but too sensitive to delete similarities away, when the order of
similarities (what is a last one) is not clear and it is not same order
with Windows in different installations)

AsusTek informs for 3 year old motherboard, no win8 correction coming,
suggest to delete softwares, in question, huh huh.
It seems Win8 is also now working properly like when I open from Start
window Worktable, appears an error AsusSetup does not support this
operating system: WNT_6.2P_64_MCE
So:
Windows 8 Pro /64 and
Adobe and
Asus
are still far from pre-co-opertion for a client
