Issues installing Title Templates

I downloaded the Title Templates for Premiere Pro CS6 yesterday and when I opened Premiere Pro to load them, they didn't show up properly. What could I do to resolve this?

(I too am a Cloud Member and my most recent Suite version prior to the cloud is CS3 and I had uninstalled all but Photoshop sometime ago, so I know nothing between CS3 & CS6)
Regarding Encore & Premiere Pro Functional Content templates, etc. You might want to read through this Encore thread regarding these issues.
http://forums.adobe.com/message/4457611#4457611
Encore issues seem to have been resolved, finally, but Adobe instructions are still somewhat vague.
Also, here is my post #53 back to Adobe (Chad Baker) concerning the ongoing Pr titles issue.
@Chad...Following the most recent instructions in the document, the title names DO appear in the "new title from template" window. However, there is still a problem with the size of the directory side of the window and/or the scroll bar. The problem can be seen if you grab the scroll bar and pull down, The scrolling begins just below the "classic_full_hd" title name.
Also, the images associated with the various titles are not showing up in the previews. The PNG and PSD files are in the new templates folder, but they are not coming through in the previews OR when you actually create the menu. Most of them just display the menu text and a series of alternating green/red bars.
There are still ongoing issues with the Pr title content and it displaying properly and there has been no further response from Adobe, to my knowledge.

  • Premiere Pro CC Title templates are missing + cannot be installed

    hi,
I just realised that I don't have any title templates but i need them quiet urgently.
I went on to this website: Library, title templates, template projects missing: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore
where it stated that you have to download a zip file and place it in the presets folder of Adobe Premiere.
I did that but it wasn"t working. Then I took the Premiere Pro Family Content Installers folder and wanted to install it in order to place it in the presets folder and the installation always gets broken off stating that there is an error.
Is anyone familiar with that kind of problem and if yes, does anyone know how I can fix it?
    Thanks in advance.

Did you follow this part of the instructions on that link?

  • Having issues installing Laserjet 2250n on Windows XP

    Hi,
I am having issues installing my HP Laserjet 2250n on my computer running Windows XP. I have downloaded a number of drivers from the HP site (listed below) and each time i try to install through windows new hardware wizard, it gives me a message telling me that the required software is not installed. I have tried installing Easy Printer Care software and then tried installing the driver but no luck either. It would help if the website mentions which driver is required for basic printing rather than showing multiple other drivers for other purposes which confuses people.
Also, I tried logging a support case through the HP website and it is not recognising my serial number. This is very annoying since I can not log a case without entering the serial number. I have checked 5 times on the printer to ensure I am reading the serial number correctly, and the sticker does clearly mention serial number so i am reading the correct number.
Please assist with this issue. Thanks.

    HPuser5647,
I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .
    I hope this helps.

  • Title Templates in Premiere Pro CS6

I am using Premiere Pro CS6 in Creative Cloud (full subscription), all appeared to install fine, but it is not showing any title templates and I cannot see anywhere/anyhow to download them.

Hi Chris. We are looking into it and will update accordingly.

  • Missing title templates in Premiere Pro CS 5.5

I have not been using Premiere Pro very much, but now I have a lot of video clips I want to put together, and I have started digging into Premiere Pro CS 5.5, which I installed in november 2011. I observe that the title templates are missing, (I don't know enough about Premiere Pro to check if there might be any other templates missing) and I think I installed the aditonal DVD (downloaded from Adobe) when I did the installation. Can I use the template download for CS 6, or do I have to download CS 5.5 from Adobe again? I have a slow line where I live so I hope to avoid large downloads.

You might get better answers in the Premiere forum. Generally, though, since the titler tool is internal, newer version would not be backward compatible, so I'm afraid re-downloading everything is pretty much your only option.

  • Titler Template window

CS3 titler templates are supposed to be accessible via the template button or CTRL-J from within the titler.
On my system (Win XP SP2. NVidea 8800GTX latest driver) the template window opens, but the selection drop-down menu at top right is partially hidden behind the top blue bar. All I can do is to scroll down the list of headings, with only one partially visible at a time in the single-line window. No selections are possible
I've tried starting PPro CS3 with CTRL+ALT+SHIFT to reset preferences, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
I've also tried changing workspace, to no effect.
I can, through this retarded interface, just about manage to invoke a random (I can't see which one it is in the menu) template via the "New Title based on Template" option, but can get nothing from the Template interface within the titler.
Any hints on returning things to normal?

Thanks, Steven. You prompted me to experiment further.
Yes, I do have the latest 8800GTX driver.
    It is a bug.
I run twin monitors with the primary on the right and the secondary on the left.
With the non-maximised Premiere window dragged across two monitors, the bug is exposed.
With the Premiere window maximised in the primary monitor, the problem is cured.
With Premiere maximised on the secondary monitor, the problem is acute.
With the monitors swapped to put the primary on the left, all is OK again.
If anyone else would like to run an experiment to see if this can be reproduced on non-nVidia graphics that would be very useful in narrowing the source.
We had problems with titler functions on secondary displays in earlier versions of this titler going back to P6.5, so I'm suspicious it is a Premiere issue. I'll post a bug report in case.

  • Library, title templates.....not load on premire pro CC ???

Hello I install Library, title templates, template projects missing on  premiere pro CC but it will not load? how?

In every version of Premiere, I've noticed there is that button for Templates, but it's empty.  It never concerned me enough to ask this question.  I just shrugged my shoulders and moved on.  That may not be helpful, but perhaps it will give your post a bump.
P.S.  Where do you even get the option to install Library templates in CC?  I recall CS4 and CS5 had many options on install, but since moving to the Cloud with CS6 a year ago, it seems every program is pretty much option-less.

  • Addition Content for Premier Title Templates?

After install without any problems the CS6 Creative Cloud software, I attempted to run Premier and see if any new Title Templates were in this version. A message popped open indicating that none were installed and that I would have to click on the link to take me to the files. But what happens is a link not found message after Safari opens.
Anyone have a simular experince? Any fixes?
    Thanks,
    Dan

I have not been able to find the buttons, menus, etc. for Encore either. They are supposed to install with the extra content too. I installed it and it said it was ready to use but they are not there. Adobe tech support was no help either. Not sure how I can use Encore. The same thing happened when I installed CS 5.5 and never got to use Encore because of it. I could really use some professional help here!
Encore is FULLY FUNCTIONAL without the additional Content. So is Premiere Pro.

  • Text and Title Templates

We have 11 computers with Premiere Elements 11 and don't have the luxury of downloading from the website on all of the computers. Is it possible to download all of the Text and Title Templates to one location and then install them on these computers. Even if I have to go to each one and do it manually.
    Thanks
    Steve

    Please consider this approach...
For one computer with Premiere Elements 11 Windows, from the appropriate tabs (Tools/Movie Menu; Titles & Templates; Graphics....) in the Expert view workspace, download for those thumbnails with the blue band at the top right corner of the thumbnails.
    Then
    Local Disc C
    Program Data
    Adobe
    Premiere Elements
    11.0
    Online
and then make a copy of the Online Folder now complete with assets (expected Folder Size about 5 to 6 GB) and transfer that Online Folder to a USB Flash Drive.
Go to each of your other computers and replace its Premiere Elements 11 Online Folder (see route above) with the one on the USB Flash Drive.
Please review the plan and let us know if that worked for you.
    Thanks.

  • Title templates in Premier Pro CC?

There don't seem to be any title templates in my new Premier Pro CC
I have also installed CS6 PP as I want the Encore program - the templates are loaded in that version.

Firstly, thanks for staying with me Jeff!
    Ok
    1.       Next tried selecting ‘C:\Users\Geoff\Desktop\Adobe CS6\Premiere Pro Family Content Installers’ as the destination and clicked ‘Next.
    2.       Click ‘Finish’
    3.       Folder opens called Adobe CS6 – Premier Pro Family Content Installers
    4.       Click ‘Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Functional Content’ option
    5.       Click ‘Set-up’ in the next folder
    6.       ‘Adobe Installer’ runs – Licence Agreement window opens – click ‘Accept’
    7.       Window called ‘Options’ appears.
    8.       There is one ‘option’ (you can’t have just ONE option!!) – ‘Adobe Premier Pro CS6 Function Cont…’
    9.       Select above ‘option’ and click ‘Install’
    10.   Accept ‘changes to computer’ warning.
    11.   Window called ‘Installation Complete’ with three hyperlinks – the membership page/My Adobe page/Video Tutorials and a ‘Close’ button.
    12.   Click ‘Close’
    13.   Nothing happens – titles still not present in my Premier Pro CC
I am paying a lot of money each month to buy this incomplete product, I do not believe that I should have to go through this, to me complicated, routine. I believe that the program should be delivered complete to my desktop – it is not.
In order to obtain ‘Adobe Encore’, as I still make DVDs for people, I had to load (free of charge I admit) the CS6 suite of programs, Premier Pro CS6 was included in this suite – complete with the ‘Title Templates’ fully loaded.

  • Title template errors

So, after installing Premiere Pro CC 2014 and finding no title templates, then learning that one has to install Premiere Pro CS6 to get the title templates, I re-installed Premiere Pro CS6. I also downloaded the Premiere Pro extra content.
It appears Premiere Pro CS6 successfully installed, but when trying to install the Premiere Pro extra content, I get an error and tells me to install the Adobe Support Advisor. Then when trying to install the Adobe Support Advisor, it tells me it is discontinued.
How do I get the Premiere Pro CS6 extra content successfully installed, so that I can copy and paste the title template files over to Premiere Pro CC 2014 so that I can use them?

I have figured it out. With the Adobe ProDesign Tools and the offline installer files, there were two files. Although I downloaded both, I did not have WinZip7 installed so I could not open. After finally installing WinZip7, I omitted the first file because I thought I had read if you had WinZip7 to omit the first file. I guess I was wrong because I have ran the first file and appears that I have correctly installed the Premiere Pro CS6 as well as the Encore CS6 additional content. Now I will work on transferring the Title templates over from CS6 to CC 2014.

  • PPRO CC Title templates...

    Hi
I have installed the 'CC' version of PPRO, but I am missing the title templates.
In prior versions to 'CC' you had an additional installer for title templates, encore menus etc. - not quite sure how it works in 'CC' though.
    Thanks.
    Ulf

    Copy C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Presets to
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC\Presets
Although there were no changes to the functional content, it is a mystery why:
Encore could not be renamed Encore CC and be included,
Functional content could not be included in the download,
Over 2 GB of useless material, over 1100 versions of EULA's in 44 languages and other crap, is included.
As a subscriber, you sure have to work hard in order to use the software.

  • Where are all the title templates?

I just re-installed my programs after a clean Windows install. When I opened Premiere CC2014 I noticed all of the title templates are gone. Why didn't they install along with everything else? I imagine all of the CS6 Encore templates are gone as well. This was a problem when CC version first came out. Why is it still the case that I have to go searching for this stuff every time I do a new install?

  • Issue installing System Update 5.01

Hello all I am having an issue installing System update 5.01.  I looked in the logs within the temp directory and it says error 1602 which is user canceled.  However, I am not canceling the install.    I also tried http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall  that didn't work either.
    I'm on a T420 with Windows 7 64bit.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your time

I had similar issues installing 5.01. I believe there is something wrong with the package. Here is how I fixed it:
    Download installer from http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=TVSU-UPDATE
    Extract package with 7zip
Copy "Lenovo System Update.msi" to "System Update.msi"
    Run setup.exe
For some reason the installer was looking for this file and it wasn't there, perhaps running the installer in silent/unattended mode caused it to exit with the code you mentioned.
I hope this fixes your problem too!
