Issues loading LR5 onto new computer

Hi,
Ive just had to renew my old PC as it has stopped working totally which had LR4. Ive purchased LR5 and tried to download it but it wont allow me to add the old serial number in when i go to activate it. Can anyone help me?????

It's not really a question of being a new PC, the same principal applies even when installing on an existing system. Basically Lightroom 5 is a new program, and you can buy either a full license or an upgrade license (same program, different pricing). Obviously the upgrade license costs a lot less than a full license, but there then needs to be that validation that the user is entitled to the upgrade license.....that's done by asking for the license number of the qualifying version, LR4 in your case.
But as I said, your LR4 license number not being accepted suggests there's a problem with it. If you are certain you are entering a correct valid number, then you'll need to contact Adobe's customer support.

I have posted this before and I did what was suggested, but have not had any luck with adobe support.

Elements 9 Edit or Organize will not come up after re-loading program onto new computer.

I got a new computer and re-loaded Photoshop Elements 9 onto it. I got no error messages during install. I can open the initial "Welcome to Photoshop Elements 9" screen, but when I attmept to open Organize or Edit by clicking on the button they will not open. The button does change to the blue and black scrolling but after it stops the screens do not open. Can you help?

Download a new non-activation copy of CS2 from Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
Install then enter the new serial number given at that link. Your existing serial number will no longer work.

If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using a lot of the utilities your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod

If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers has been introduced with iTunes 7. The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive
