Hi Gurus
I am a newbie and have become frustrated with this product.I
am trying to send a draft to another Contribute user (CS3) for
publishing as I have not been assigned publishing rights.
I have connected via a ticket sent to me and when I select
the
Send for Review button the application automatically opens
the email package - not the review selection dialogue. At this time
I have a draft which has been locked for editing by me and I cannot
get it published. Help please!
I have CS4 and the other users are using CS3. Also we are a
distributed team, so when I am connected they are not - I do not
know if this is the source of my frustration.

How can local user send message to other user via OSX server in mac maverick

I just install OS X server in mac mavericks and enable services such as message, DNS, VPN, etc. I also create local users and local network users. I add some local users from OSX server to Message app in order to message to server, but I cannot send any message to those user, even Bonjour is available but I cannot use it to send message in local network.

Therefore, how each user in OSX server can message to each other across OSX server ? Does Admin have to write some codes or make configuration for providing message services to those users ?

Client users need to use XMPP client app to log in to server with account name like in server , then user can send message to other users in server. Client users can use iphone, pc, or mac.

Permissions issues on views referencing other users [solved]

Hi,
I've hit a (for me) unexplainable problem;
Situation:
- Table T in schema A
- View V in schema B, referencing the table T from schema A (B has SELECT/REFERENCES privileges on table T)
- User C gets ORA-01031 when trying to SELECT from view V (C has SELECT/REFERENCES privileges on V and T)
In my eyes, user C has more privileges than needed to get the results from view V. Nevertheless, Oracle thinks he has insufficient privileges.
Anyone catches what I'm missing or bumped into the same issue?

A wouldn't give access WITH GRANT OPTION to B if B wasn't trusted to
propagate to other users, but what if he isn't?
I'm not saying WITH GRANT OPTION is bad, it's actually very useful in
probably 99% of the cases. I just don't know why it's enforced to be used.I'm not understanding what you're not understanding.
When A grants SELECT on a table to B what they are granting is permission for B and B only to see that data. If B wants a third user C to view A's data there are two options:
(1) B asks A to explictly grant SELECT to C
(2) B asks A to grant them SELECT WITH GRANT OPTION
It doesn't matter whether B wants C to have direct access to A's table or to mediate it through a view of their own, B cannot grant privilege's on A's data to anybody else unless A approves it.
The advantage of granting SELECT WITH GRANT OPTION to B is that A doesn't have to bother issuing lots of grants to people B wants to share with. The downside is that B has to be trusted. If B turns out to be untrustworthy then REVOKE SELECT FROM B must withdraw access not only from B but from every other user who was granted by B.
Note that even if A has grant SELECT to C, if A revokes SELECT WITH GRANT OPTION from B than C will not be able to use B's view on A's table either though C can directly select the data from A's table....

SQL> So the architecture is quite watertight. Perhaps the problem is that this is not how it's working in your production system. But I would be very surprised if your production system was broken in the way you describe. More likely is that there is some missing part of the jigsaw. But without a complete dump of your system's granted privileges it is hard for us to say what's wrong.

Error 554-5.6.0 Corrupt message content... when sending emails to other users on same exchange server

I have a very strange problem at a customer from our company.
The problem happens to only one user on the Exchange 2010 organization (SP3, no additional patches installed, Server is 2008 r2).
When this specific user sends an email to one or more users on the same Exchange organization, he gets sometimes (not always) the following error back:
554-5.6.0 Corrupt message content 554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ConversionFailedException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Inhaltskonvertierung: Fehlerhafter TNEF-Zusammenfassungsinhalt. ConversionFailedException:
Inhaltskonvertierung: Fehlerhafter TNEF-Zusammenfassungsinhalt. [Stage: CreateReplay]
So - TNEF, corrupt message Content... I googled the error and checked all the recommended Solutions. The Outlook Client is ok, I have doublechecked it and everything is configured like it has to be.
The Problems happens as above described only for one user when he writes emails to users from one specific Domain on the same Exchange organization (example
[email protected]).
He has this specific contacts in a SharePoint contact list which is connected to his Outlook Client.

I want to double confirm whether it works or not when send message to external address, how about the OWA?
It seems that message has corrupt content. Is there any 3rd prevent software or Anti-Virus software in Exchange 2010?
Regarding this issue, firstly I would like to explain that content conversion occurs in two places, that are the Store Driver and the Content Conversion stage of Categorization. Since the issue exists in the delivery mail of internal user, the agent that was
used in the process of handling by Store Driver may cause this issue.
Please try to enable pipeline tracing and content conversion tracing to get more details about this error, for your reference:

I can send imessages to other user who is claiming they cannot access the internet or email????

I have to communicate with someone via emails and text messages. When i text this person the text messages are highlighted blue therefore sent as an imessage to their phone. Is it correct then that they must have an iphone and does this mean that person definitely has internet access on their phone and therefore would be able to access their emails. They are claiming they cannot access their emails due to a new phone which they "have no need to receive emails on it" which i am assuming they are trying to claim that they do not have a data package for.

Yes to receive an iMessage the recipient would need an iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and an internet connection. This is a messaging serviceprovided by Apple so the recipient does not need to check emails. If the contact does not have internet access at the time the iMessage is sent then a normal SMS through your carrier can be sent instead if you have "Send as SMS" turned on in Settings>Messages.

Sending Mail to Local Users via the Terminal mail Command

I am having trouble sending mail to other user account via the terminal mail command. It seems to work with some accounts i.e. guest, etc, but fails with others i.e. Dennis. It will fail with no error message. Has anyone had any experience using the unix mail command locally ?

I don't know the answer to this but you might try the -v option on the mail command in order to get verbose output. Perhaps a useful message would pop up.
Also, you might consider posting this message in the Unix Forum. There is a good chance that someone there can help you with this issue.

                  i have a program which can send mails to other user but it by default takes my used id as sender's mail id . This program is working fine , but is there any way possible to hide my sender's mail id and show some other mail id in sender to the recipients?

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

Send mail to the user who logged the issue

Hi,
As it is currently the mail goes to the key user, which is a business partner. That is an organization. However several users are maintained under a business partner.
So now the mail goes to all these users at a status change. However can we only have the user who logged the issue getting the mail. Can you please advice me on how to get this?

Yes we hv assigned the key user as a business partner which is an organization,, This is also and requirement,
But since the mail is activated as to the key user it goes to all the users in that group, under teh business partner.
But when configuring this came across the Partner, in which we selected it as key user. But there were also other partners as Creator,Reported by etc..
I tried using both these but again it didnt work. Can anyone suggest anything?
Yes, when u assign the key user as a business partner and assign several users to it you can send multiple mails to users

Our user can receive emails from the outside user and many of our other users exchange email with this outside user daily.Here's more information:Our server is the generating while their server is the receiving:Remote Server atx.com (Their IP) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'- Remote Server at x.com (Their IP)returned '441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating with primary targetIP address: "Failed to connect. OIM 9102: Send Email Notification to other user in a task

I created a process in OIM. In this process exist a Task: Manager Process. When this task will be completed for the user that be assigned. In the Notification Tab are able to send a email notification to a Assign User, Requester User, User or User Manager. But i need to send a email notification a other user different to them, for example: juan.perez, this user is in OIM.
I have read the following documents:

You can use OIM email API to send an email from the java code. You can attach code on post creation user using entity adapter. Every time a user is created the email is triggered.
Here is the sample:

Problem in sending email to other domain users

Hi All,
I am using javamail for sending emails and able to send to people within my exchange server domain. The problem is i am unable to send mail to other domain users like yahoo.com, hotmail.com..the error it is throwing out is *"Invalid Address"*
Is there any spaecial API for this to work?
