Issues Syncing w/ iPhone 3G (iTunes 9) - Windows 7 (64-bit) OS
After downloading iTunes 9, I've been having issues syncing my iPhone. I've tried every option available to me and have scoured many a forum to seek some form of solution to this. I've, unfortunately, restored my iPhone and managed to lose all of my data and contact information. This isn't really wants getting to me. The ability to sync my Music/Photos is.
A list of things I've tried.
* Restoring iPhone to original state.
* Uninstalling/Reinstalling Every apple product ever placed on my PC and deleting all data and registry information associated with Apple.
* Syncing my iPhone with another Laptop/PC (which resulted in my phone not even being recognized).
At this point I can assume that the problem lies in part with iTunes or something I missed and my phone in general. Since it costs an arm and a leg to get support from an 'Apple Expert' or to take it to an Apple store I can't resort to that.
On a good note, I have managed to actually get the phone activated and working again. The only thing I can't do is sync/update.
The error message I'm getting on my Laptop is ... blah blah blah "unable to load dataclass" blah blah one..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've tried both of those previously. Sorry I didn't mention that. I've done so many things it's hard to remember. I'm beginning to think that some of the problem lies within the phone. And since I can't even get the computer to be able to read it properly, I can't restore to factory again.
I had a bit of luck with a friends PC and was able to get it to read it, but not sync. So, I may use his iTunes to restore my phone to a factory default. Then attempt to uninstall/reinstall iTunes on my Laptop again to see if it works.
(Also for the copy/paste files, the latest iTunes from the site remedied the issue where the files were in the wrong location, so that was already completed).
The link to the support page is virtually useless though. I'd done everything that page asked before even seeing it. Thanks for trying though. I'll repost after I restore and then uninstall/reinstall again.

I cannot sync my iPhone with iTunes for Windows. Even if the computer is authorized, it keeps on displaying an error message that tells that this computer is not authorized. I already tried to do the resolutions you have given in case this situation happens.
It's an endless circle.

Please help!!! it's really frustrating because i want the music on my itunes to go on my iphone!!
Thank you!!Hello Indyrue,
It sounds like you are not seeing the options to sync in the latest version of iTunes. I found an article that has steps for syncing with iTunes 11:

Syncing bewteen iPhones using iTunes on Windows
Hi, I temporarily have two iPhones. I restored the new one using Windows iTunes. That worked well. Then I used the old phone a while, changing mostly photos, apointments, reminders, and notes. Now I synced first the old phone, then the new phone using iTunes on a Windows XP laptop.
The new reminders etc do not appear on the new iPhone.
Most answers I find use iCloud, but I do not have an iCloud account.
What can I do?It took me a few tries to figure it out. iTunes keeps multiple backups from each device. I had to choose the correct one, and then it worked. Thanks!

Can I sync my iPhone to ITunes on Windows using Fusion on a MacBook?
And if so, how? And then how do I sync Outlook to the iPhone?
Hi,
You should be able to sync it just like you were on regular PC. Just install and launch the latest version of iTunes and then attach the iPhone. More information available here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iTunesWin/7.6/en/15519.html
If you run into any problems with the iPhone showing as a device accessible by the PC you may want to check VMware's website, as I believe they make Fusion.

You have posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not appear to be related to. You will probably get better help by posting in the Using iPhone forum.

Based on what someone else said, I am getting the "rotating ball of eternal sadness". Yup. That about describes it.

The last time I synced my iphone to itunes, I lost all my contact info, photos, calendar, and voice memos. This time I still have them, but I lost all the apps I had downloaded. Also, I just bought an ipad, and itunes does not recognize it.
Re: That garbage is unreadable.
If you really want help, stop messing with the fonts and post so that others can read and offer suggestions.
Or better yet... try a search, I'm certain you'll find a solution to whatever issue you're experiencing.
I have found that many times it is the things that make you most angry that push you to action. This was the case here. Thank you for causing me to get so angry that I found the answer myself. -
